First. I want to say that I tried to leave this review on Presto-X, formerly, Fischer Environmental’s, website. It was not posted. Be very suspicious of their 45 five star reviews with nothing bad on it. They obviously screen reviews before posting and bad ones won’t make it on. To me, this is a red flag!I have a termite contract with them to come annually. I pay $300/year—every year the price goes up about $15.Bobby came today to do my termite inspection. The sheet of paper he emailed me shows he was at my house for 14 minutes. Supposedly, in that time, he found 16 bait stations, dug them up, inspected the bait, and replaced them. His report shows at one point he was doing this every 20 seconds. This normally takes 30-60 minutes to do when it is actually done.As Bobby was leaving, I asked him if he checked all bait stations. He said “yes”. I then got to talking to my neighbor and Bobby left. I then noticed that the bait stations could not have been checked because they were not dug up. Usually, when they come do the check, they have to use a metal detector to find the stations, dig them up from the overgrown grass, and open them. Every time it is done correctly, you can see the bait stations after. My bait stations were not checked. I still can’t find most of them as they are buried.I called Fischer environmental, now Presto-X and Rene told me a manager would call. 3 hour later, when nobody called, I called back. I was then told that the tech would call me to schedule a time to come. That never happened.Their own website says if you are not satisfied they will redo the service the next business day. We will see if they come Monday. I doubt it since it is Friday night and nobody has called.If you want to pay a lot of money for a service then have the tech lie to your face, and in writing, then have the office promise a manager will call you back, and not get the call then I recommend Presto-X, formerly Fischer Environmental.If this treatment bothers you, as it does me, find someone else.Terrible company. Dishonest. Luckily I have Bobby’s license number so I will be reporting him to whoever licenses Pest Control Techs.In the meantime, Presto-X, formerly Fischer Environmental, has my money and has not provided me the service.Normally, I’d just get a new company and not deal with them again. But, the bait stations have to be installed by a new company which costs $1000+ to do…money I already paid Presto-X, formerly Fischer Environmental, a few years ago. We have a contract which they obviously aren’t adhering to. Watch out. They assume you don’t know anything and will rip you off.
I do Not recommend. Ive been with them for 9 years and got termite damage on my side porch! I noticed it only a month after they did their annual inspection. The company is now called presto-x
I will preface this review with the fact that this is related to communication and not services, and I have never left a Google review before. This, however, should be shared. I called over the weekend (a Saturday) to schedule an appointment due to the fact that they pride themselves on having extended hours for requests, etc. and I was trying to have someone come ASAP. The gentleman I spoke with (Chris?) was great, and informed me that they would be able to service me on Tuesday at 8 AM, after giving me a comprehensive rundown of what the services entailed. Tuesday arrives and I await a technician that does not show up. I call to leave a message for the woman that handles pest control schedule and follow up with her after some times passes. Upon stating my issue, she abruptly cuts me off and was extremely abrasive, insisting that I did not have service scheduled. After trying to speak multiple times, I was able to finally get a word in to say that I spoke to someone over the weekend. She continues to talk over me and ignore what Im trying to say, and finally after a long and very rude round of going back and forth, acknowledges the fact that the work order never got to her desk. Not one time did she apologize or even extend some sort of empathy for their mixup or the inconvenience. Then tells me that I wont be able to be serviced until Monday of the following week, after Ive already made accommodations with my job, etc. to be serviced on a day that would be the least impactful to my schedule. I have not only ever been treated so poorly by a business, but am extremely disappointed that they werent able to offer some form of a more immediate solution due to their internal mistake. Even with all of the positive reviews, I will never reach out to them again due to my interaction with Cathy. No one deserves that.
For years I have had problems on and off with mice. I tried many other pest control companies with no real cure. My neighbor suggested I call Fischer and I did, what a great company. They really knew what they were doing and they cured my problem economically, on time, and under their estimate. They are just great!
Just recently bought a new house and wanted to have pest control! I called other companys and none could offer me a green option for controlling pests! Fischer Envirnomental offered this and gave us a great price and even came out the same week on time!Very happy with there service and will recommend to others!
I had a bad flea problem in my upstairs bedroom, called Fischer and the Tech they sent was very through..great service and price. I would definitely be happy to refer Fischer to all my friends and family
I was experiencing a recurring rodent problem. I had called 2 other pest control companies who never returned my call. Fischer responded within 2 hours and were out to handle my problem the next day. Super job.
Fischer offers lots of experienced employees, Like fact they have a on staff Entomologist for any problems that may come up, I would recommend Fischer to any friends or family, Thanks guysRichard Yutzy
