My wife had our SUV detailed with this company. They kept the vehicle overnight and never called us when they had completed the work the next day (which seemed suspicious). When we called to pick up the car, the entire hood and roof were scratched severely; they told us it was probably from HAIL damage overnight?! It hadnt even rained it that part of uptown the night before. They offered no help, and were incredibly rude. Do NOT trust this place

I have been using this service for years now, and normally the staff is very quick to remedy any issue. Unfortunately they failed to remedy a massive scarf in my paint. One of the finishing technicians tried to polish the scuff out, but was unsuccessful. Another technician walked up and explain to me that their equipment could not have scuffed my paint. This is the second time I’ve had an issue with the handling of my vehicle. However, this is the first time I have had a finishing technician dismiss me.

Signed up for the Uptowner wash: top-of-the-line, then they start in with the up-selling, (much of it supposedly a part of their best wash). I bit on cleaning the vinyl and having the independent contractor on-site clear up my milky headlights. When it was all done, the glass had not been cleaned, dirty inside and streaked outside. The tires were not dressed, nor was the vinyl for which I paid twice. There were soap streaks on the exterior which I was told was damaged paint...but I rubbed them out at home.Stay away from this place. There are other car washes whose mission is “to deliver pride-worthy Automotive sparkle“; not rub cars with soiled rags.

I keep going to this place because of the convenience, but the job they do is always slipshod. They claim to wipe your dashboard clean. As soon a you drive off you start to look around and notice how horribly ineffective their wiping has been. If Safari Car Wash opened an Uptown location, this place would go out of business in 6 months.

Just had my car detailed at Uptown Car Wash. AMAZING! Every inch is sparkling clean. He even cleaned the air conditioner vents! It looked so good, I wasnt sure it was my car. Thanks!

This place is fantastic. Friendly staff and quality car washes. They do a pretty good job of cleaning the inside of your car, and a great job making sure the outside is clean and dry when you are done. The monthly wash package is a pretty great deal.

Have been going here awhile. It’s very convenient for me. The past 3 or 4 times have just been not worth it. I always have to go back and rewipe the inside of my car and clean my tires and rims. Everyone is nice but I give the washing job two stars. The guys at the end look busy but they aint.

I loved this place!! Very quick and easy. Went there for an oil change and I had the guy check out other issues with my car too and he fixed everything up for a decent price. The waiting area is great - very spacious, nice chairs and tables, and cute pets - 3 beautiful birds, fish, and a sweet dog. :)

I was really on the fence about going here after reading all of the negative comments, but its really close to work and my car needed attention in a bad way. They were awesome! The car is clean - inside & out. Everything looks great and they had me out of there within the 30 minutes that I had for lunch. The attendants were polite & the waiting area was clean. Cant beat the prices.

Not only did they have to run it through twice, they never even washed my windows. I paid extra for the dirt and floor cleaning so there shouldnt be any excuse for the poor job cleaning it. For $45, I could get a couple of kids to not only clean it, but wax it as well. Ill never go back there. On a positive note, they did run it through the second time without hassle. But it didnt help...

I love getting my oil changed with a complimentary car wash. I come across the river just for this service. The only reason no 5 star is because the detail is half-ass, but its better than none and Ill pay a lil more for an oil change to have it included.

I tried to give this business another chance after being let down a year ago. Everytime I go for cleaning it’s done inaccurately. The workers are always in a rush. Well, I believe in giving everyone a chance to redeem themselves, and unfortunately I am still not happy. I am here for work for a few months and started bringing my car here because it is close to work and very convenient. My first time was June 10th and I come weekly.Every single week I have to show them something they missed (spots on my car, forgot to armor all the tires, didnt clean my mirrors, didnt put the air freshener in the car, left my car mats dirtier than they were before I came, sprayed armor all on the tires (when they remember) and left it there looking like a dripping mess without wiping it off, didnt clean my rims, etc.) and although they are apologetic and get on it right away, I should not have to have a conversation with them about what they missed EVERY WEEK...I am not familiar with New Orleans and I work extremely long hours so I have to go where I can when I have free time. I will probably continue to come here until I leave in September ONLY because it is convenient for me, but if I happen to pass another place where I can get better service and I have the time, I would not return to Uptown Car Wash. Its really a shame.

Awful! I spent 80 bucks on a detail wash. When I got there the line was short. I was told the detail would take about an hour. There was a quick rain, the manager on duty released the entire crew for lunch. I waited . When they got back from break they slowly started washing cars again. I told the front desk I was taking a lunch and this had already extended the 1 hour by a good bit. Mine sat for over three hours under the detail tent, about every 30 minutes I was checking with the desk. They would say, we have our guys on it . Part of the detail was a seat shampoo. They never did it. When I pointed that out to the manager they agreed, in the meantime one of the car washers took offense to his lack of abilities and was yelling at me saying he did the work. I said well I’m looking at it and clearly not.. The manager on duty said nothing to the employee, he walked away then came back and gave me a free wash.. DONT GO

UHMAZING!!! Jessica the salesperson was so sweet and great to talk too. She got me what needed done for what I️ could spend. The detailers were awesome & professional, my car was done on time. My car was absolutely filthy & they made it look & smell brand new. Got all the spots out of the seats & it smells amazing and looks immaculate!! If I’d had more cash on me I️ would’ve tipped double after seeing the work they did!

It seems like they did a 10 minute job during the whole process. Does it really only take 10 minutes to wash a car??? I can get a fully loaded car wash, cleaned in and out and tires for $20. Its not worth it. Front windshield still have stains on it, the bottom area still has dirt on it. I guess they were upset became I came at 5:30. They werent courteous at all no hospitality at all. No vacuuming was performed. They put my car way at the end of the street and left it there. No one bothered saying Maam your car is ready. I had to figure things out on my own. I WILL NOT return. I did better buying my own car washing products.

This place will DESTROY your vehicle. I left there and my vehicle stopped in the middle of Henry Clay and Magazine. Why? Something was left unplugged when attempting to get to my oil filter of which they stripped and wont fix. All the owner/manager had to offer was a free ca rwash. I thought that came with the oil change?? Dont waste your time here. It looks nice but your car will suffer.

Interior cleaning service has declined over last year; especially/perhaps only when you get the free wash with oil change (e.g. easy to clean & see, loose dog hair left, and under seat little trash and empty plastic bottles that fall). Oil change and front desk staff are still pleasant and good to see

Got the Uptown Wash with the $10 add on to wipe down the doors. Outside was fine - inside barely touched. Dust / dirt still on dash & they didnt touch the doors, left a bottle of cleaner on the seat which spilled & soaked the fabric, trash still in side door & on back mat, etc. Need to spend more time cleaning & less time trying to upsell bug removal, scratch repair, etc.

I had kind of given up on having a clean car because my dog who sheds year-round. Everywhere that I have gone in the past charges too much and does less than the bare minimum, so it has usually been a waste.Came by Uptown because my mom was coming in town and I wanted to save myself from any additional judgement she might provide in regards to my car.I paid $69 for the wash. I was probably there for about an hour and 15 (so bring something to do), but it was SO worth it. Honestly, the inside of my car looks so brand-new that I wanted to cry (I meant it when I said Id given up!). Bring cash to tip the people that detail your car and do the inside, and tip them well. Its summer and its sweltering outside, but the employees here are friendly and worth much more than what you pay.Theres an indoor waiting area with snacks and drinks, as well as other little things like air fresheners.

What on earth did you put on my windshield today?!Got a car wash with oil change from you this morning. But as soon as it started raining this afternoon, the windshield turned into a filmy mess. There is some kind of gunk on the outside that will not come off, and it is impossible to drive with this lack of visibility.Of course your phone only picks up with a busy signal, and I even tried driving back to you in the rain, but you must have closed early. Are you trying to get my family killed?This shoddy workmanship is absolutely unacceptable.

Been a few times and always left underwhelmed. They offer such a low oil-change price cause theyll add $10 for a skidpan removal. Recently though I left with overfilled oil that quickly turned into a check engine light and smoke coming from my car. I returned the next day and asked for them to read the code for the check engine light and drain the oil and then provide a record of what was done and why I came in (in case I had to submit an insurance claim). When I got my car back they told me that they didnt read the code (only cancelled it), drained the oil and failed to provide a work record. After sometime arguing I was finally provided a record and told that actually, they hadnt cancelled the code, it just went off when the oil overfill was fixed. I took them on their word but as soon as I got on the highway the smoke returned followed shortly after by the check engine light, so i believe they lied about not cancelling the code. Took it to firestone and they told me the sparkplugs were misfiring and had been gunked up and had it fixed within the day. Dont get distracted by the apparent low prices. You pay for what you get.

My experience as a former employee, gave me great pleasure in being an asset to this company, and not a liability and for meeting the goals required of the company as they thrive in providing quality customer service to each and every customer and paying attention to specific details to suit the needs of the customers vehichle along with employee made recommendations to soar the satisfaction of the customers they serve. This is a requirement of all employees hired and to be understood before accepting terms of employment by management. I know that the clients are all mostly local people, a few celebrities here and there, along with many of our beloved News Orleans Saints. I also know that as a whole, this establishment and staff, are very professional, ethical business people. The management will not tolerate any employee to stand in the way or hinder the goal of the company, of Complete Customer Satisfaction. If a customer has a problem, or is not completely satisfied, they should ask to address the issue at hand to someone in management and I guarantee that the problem will be addressed and corrected without limit, to provide the customer with the best resoloution in resolving the matter that meets the needs of that particular customer. I arrived at 3:40 today and the business closed at 4pm. I asked if there was time to get an oil change and car wash to which I was told “of course”. I paid extra to upgrade to a better wash and disappointed is an understatement. Management and the detailers were lazy, unprofessional and quite honestly insulting. It took a total of 15 minutes for an oil change and car wash (supposedly inside and outside wash). I was shocked that all of these services would take such little time, but when I saw the interior (and exterior) of my vehicle, It is very clear why! I began cleaning the inside of my vehicle BY MYSELF after asking Brian (supposed manager) why the interior of my car wasn’t clean. He informed me that it was “because of the time of day I came”. I literally have never dealt with such horrible customer service. Do yourself and your vehicle a favor, save your money and DON’T GO HERE!!!!

What a waste of time. My car sat in the queue for over an hour only to later be told that they dont have an oil filter for my car. This was the only time I had to get this done and now I have to wait another week.
