This was my first Swan boat ride and I was not disappointed. From the gentlemen who we rented the Swan boat from and the young man who gave us our life vest, were so pleasant to interact with.

We rented the 4-6 person Surrey, and let me tell ya, it will wear you out. Haha! We ride bikes all the time, so were not out of shape. But these bikes made you work the entire time, just to go 5mph or so. Its not necessarily a bad thing, you just need to be prepared. We still had a lot of fun and it was definitely a worthwhile experience. The guys working there were nice and professional. You need to have a little patience when you go, because I think its just two of them and they have to help people into/out of boats, get bikes out, process transactions, etc. You definitely need to do it at least once!

Rented a large swan boat. After we had a blast family time, we were getting out of the boat and an employee neglected our boat. Unfortunately I ended up swimming in the lake due to this employee getting distracted while the boat was returning back to the lake and I was getting out of it. Be careful and be aware of his incompetence. They need more competent and trained employees.

We had fun! If you have nothing to do might as well try it.

Rent a bike! Its a great way to ride around the park and see everything. Reasonable rates and easy to rent. Have fun seeing the gorgeous sights of City park.

We rented cruiser bikes for a half day (4hrs). Started by biking around the park then to the Lafitte Green Way to the French Quarter and Mississippi River. The whole day was great and the bikes were the perfect type to cruise around the city. They were one speed with pedal breaks so it took a little getting used to but NOLA is very flat so one speed was fine. I would highly recommend doing a similar route.

Rentals were in good condition. We rented the surrey and tandem bike. The lines did get a bit long for renting and receiving back the licenses. Otherwise, pretty painless. Timing was good and the park was beautiful. Next time, I’d love to try the Swan boats (they were down due to wind)!

Very good experience! It’s very fun and relaxing. This rental place had plenty of rental options, it was very cool and we will definitely go back there to try more. We rode the swan boats at nighttime and it was nice and quiet. The swan boats had lights on them which was neat. There was a big fountain in the lake which looked beautiful at night. The workers were very polite and informative. No beverages allowed onto the swan boats! I would definitely recommend for couples, families, or friends. It really is a good time!

Kids loved the bikes and boats. The evening swan boat rides would also be lovely (bring bug spray!).

Affordable prices and a wide varity of choices in reference to wheeled propulsion. Friendly staff too that was very accommodating. You will really enjoy this as a couple and/or family as you make your way around the park. Best to be enjoyed on a nice sunny afternoon when it is not too hot and/or humid.

This was the highlight of our trip to New Orleans. We rented one of the family bikes and one of the swan boats for our 9 year old twin daughters. Anthony and John took great care of us! They were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and we had a blast. It was so nice to be able to have some fun during these crazy times. Highly recommend and I cant wait to visit the next time we go back.

LOVE LOVE LOVE... we go every Sunday... and sometimes once during the week! The swan boats are so much fun and the bike that fits 6 plus 2 babies on the front is a blast!!!!

We really enjoyed this part of the park. I gave it four stars because they need help. The line was extremely long.

The swans are so fun and they glow at night. We brought bread to feed the ducks and it such a fun experience. I couldn’t get over the smell of the life vest though. They’re left out in the weather so it had a loud mildew smell. Other than that, lots of fun easy to ride.

I didnt feel too confident about this place based on the previous reviews. I took a risk and drove an hour and a half without calling ahead to verify the place was open on Sunday, even though the hours listed on the website says that it is. Luckily, there was an attendant present and I rented a paddleboat for one hour without any issues. There were also other customers present and they rented bikes, kayaks and paddleboats as well.

My wife and I had a great experience here. Renting the canoe and paddling around all these lakes was one of the most enjoyable activities we did in New Orleans. You can actually go really far and feel pretty isolated. We went through the sculpture Garden which gave a very different and unique perspective, saw a ton of wildlife, and even saw an alligator. It was really very fun. You pay for an hour, but they really gave us more like an hour and a half, and no one even checked to see if you were out longer. The service was fine, although the line was very long and it took much longer to get a boat then it felt like it should have. I think they can probably be more efficient.

Swan boats were super cute! My friends and I went at night. The staff was really nice, instructed us about safety and let us go a little longer than 30-minutes. Per person it was $7, which isn’t bad at all for a fun outdoor, water activity.

These bikes are meant for people who are in shape. They are fun decent price

Great experience on the bike and paddle swan

First time I did this and it was really fun. They have a wide range of activities for individuals to do. This would be a good date idea guys but definitely do it in the cooler months unless youre looking for a sweaty workout.

Had coupon for free 2nd hour plus 1st hour was half off.

Had a wonderful time with family members, but if you got five people or more you will not be comfortable paddling that bike thats supposed to seat six. It doesnt seat six so do yourself a favor and split the group up into two small groups.

Best way to spend an hour in city park

I recently utilized Wheel Fun Rentals with my family. My nephews absolutely loved it! I excited them by advising this would be their first driving experience since the Double Surrey has a steering wheel. The customer service is hit or miss as this is not my first time coming here. But nothing to complain about.Biking through City Park with the family or even friends is a wonderful way to spend an evening or the weekend. I highly recommend Wheel Fun Rentals. My mom came with us and even said she wants to bike again.

Disappointed that discount could not be applied because it was said that they do not do so on holidays.

The people here are so friendly! Two different people happily gave me change for the street car. The prices are surprisingly affordable for such an interesting attraction in such a tourist filled town. Classic Swan boat rides on a beautiful lake, for only $10 a person. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful boats and the staff is friendly

Never know if it will be open when you show up. Stole my license. Couldn’t get in touch with the location because no one answers the phone and voice mailbox was full. Had to call corporate and they had to contact this location which took about a week to get any response. To which they then said they don’t have my license. One of their employees probably took it to try to get into a bar or something. Do not walk away from this place without getting your license back. This place needs some honest employees. Or whole new ownership.

Dont waste your time. No one will be there when you show up even though the hours posted show they should be. There were many, many people waiting to ride boats but no one was there and no one answered the phone. A quick call to corporate showcases that no one knows whats going on or why. A perfect way to ruin a pre-planned outing.

It’s an enjoyable place to go with the family. It closes at sunset and they have many options to choose from to kayaks, paddle boats, and multiple types of bikes. It’s priced ok, but extremely understaffed. Still it’s fun to do.

Very nice place and diverse options. My family and I rented a pedal boat on the lake, and it was really fun. But do not come on days with big events. I came on March 31, the day of the Crescent City Classic, and it opened later than usual. So you might want to check for events if you come here.

We are very happy we found this fun place. We were visiting from GA and driving by the park when we saw the double seater bike (called a Surrey). It was $26 for an hour rental. Very fun! Highly recommend for couples or families. They also have pedal boats and other types of bikes to rent. The park was beautiful.

Do not rent here. Theyre an easy location but out of the 8 times Ive been out here (on a 30 minute drive from Kenner) the water level was too low 4/8 times. Very inconsistent hours for what they state online and on the 3rd time it happened to us we called before hand, they said yes, well be open and we made the drive only to find them closed for the water levels after we had asked and gotten a field trip of kids out there. Also one of the same days they claimed the water level was low we got a rental right across the street and they said water levels were fine.

City Park is incredible, and I wish I could say that my experience with this company was representative of the rest of City Park. The rental employee was 2 hours late and did not rent out a kayak due to water levels. However, the more expensive boat options were still available, so I am confused by this odd precedent. Also, the employee was rude and I wish that they had more information published about which boats are available. I paid 12 dollars each way to uber there and left disappointed (and 24 dollars poorer). I hope that this company improves because I enjoy kayaking, and I want a reliable place in the city to partake in this healthy pass time.

We rented a tandem bike to explore City Park. Service was slow but they were very nice, and the bike was in good shape. Unfortunately there arent a lot of things to see throughout city park and I was expecting better biking trails. We still had a great afternoon but it would have been good to lower my expectations.

I have rented from these guys on several occasions, the first time was doing the summer me and my lady rented the 2 person Surrey. We had a blast, stopped at Morning Call and had a scoop of sorbet, I think it was orange. We did it again 2 weeks later with my grand kids. They had a great time as well. So when August rolled around I had a family reunion in City Park. I thought it would be great to have a couple of Surreys on hand so people can enjoy the many indemnities the park offers. Also the bath room was a bit of a walk so the Surrey made it nice that the older people didnt have to make that walk.City Park has come a long way and Wheel Fun Rental is a great addition to a historic park. I will be back. My lady wants to come back and take a ride on the Gondola.

Rented a two adult bike with the spot for the kids to sit in the front. Have to say the rental line was long but ultimately- $27.91 for an hour and twenty minutes to make my wife and daughter happy. Price was well worth it. Now if only my legs werent so sore...dang thing was TOUGH to pedal...or maybe I need to work out more...hmmm. Overall a great experience. Would recommend.

I have come to this location on three separate occasions on beautiful sunny summer days During the postsed hours and called the make sure they would be opened. All of the times I showed up and there was nobody working and we could not ride the bikes my children and I were very disappointed and have given up on this place.

Dont waste your money. $13 for a rusty, filthy bike. Uncomfortable seats. Awful service. Your better off walking in the south or very north of the park. The central part is just gras s and a gold course. Really dont waste your time and money

Groupon helped made our day really worthy by adding a great savings to our rental. Who knew! We had a blast riding around city park and we got our exercise on our legs. It was nice cool breeze under the large oak trees. We even had a picnic and were able to feed the hungry ducks, geeses, and any other water friends.

It was fun and exciting just try to avoid any uphill battles if youre on the little bike that look like cars. Do you give your 20% coupon for your next visit

I was pleased by how accommodating the staff was, allowing my family to switch out into bikes that were more comfortable.

We decided we wanted the 2 seat surrey bike; and it had rained earlier that day at noon. So by 3:30, long after the rain was over, we decided to go to the park to rent the bicycle (despite the steep prices). We walk up to the building, which was locked and closed. We were not the only people out there in hopes of renting bikes. The weather was nice, we were confused; we got more confused when we saw other people around the park riding on the rented bikes. What were they going to do if they could not return them, if the rental place was closed?

Drove the surrey bike around the pond. Lots of fun and harder than it looks.

We rented 2 adult bikes and our experience was good. There was not a long line around lunch, the staff was friendly, there is not a restriction to how far out of the park you can take the bikes. We explored a lot of New Orleans and the bikes held up ok. They have baskets on the front and a piece off my basket broke so we had to find something to hold it up in the middle of our trip. We inspected the bikes and rode around close by before taking them off far. I recommend checking all equipment. One of the bike locks did not work but they gladly changed it out for us before we left. The bikes are old but work and the price is not bad.

Loved the single surrey ride along city park. I got well maintained cycle, but could hear some cycles making noise, while riding along. Got to use groupon too. Awesome experience

Nice place to rent bikes from for cruising in City Park, maybe offer maps of the park.

My wife and I were excited to rent bikes and ride through the park. Unfortunately we got there at 2:45pm and nobody was there. Very confusing because their website clearly stated they were open to 7pm. I asked someone sitting on a bench by the shop if they knew if they were coming back. Nope, they just closed early. Glad we didnt purchase the groupon for them, on the way to the park.

James was super friendly and patient! He made sure we got bikes that met our riding needs, and adjusted them to fit us. He later rescued us when we got a flat tire.

We initially wanted to do the boat paddling but the wind was too high so we did the family sized bikes. Great prices.

LOVE IT!! Super fun for any fam with preteen and older! Younger kids will get too tired or uncomfortable. Keep in mind NOLA IS HOOOOOTTT IN THE SUMMER so bring ice cold waters, some towels, hats, sunscreen, etc. To keep you going and cool. The gentlemen renting to us were super nice and helped us out so much! They even were okay that we were out 20 min past our return time.

They need to get responsible, competent people to run this place. Multiple customers and i wanted to make a rental but no one was available.

The guys are pretty rude considering we didnt know thw groupon rules. The one guy even yelled at us as we walked away to read the fine print next time. Use another company is my suggestion.

Quick rental and equipment in good shape, the staff isn’t very knowledgeable though, the answer to which path they recommend biking on was ‘there is a map on the bike’ and to how long it takes to bike the path was ‘we don’t know’

Terrible and unreliable service. No one on site to open on time. Scheduled a kids party in the morning to ride the swan boats and no one showed up to provide rentals.

Terrible experience. The four wheeled bicycles are dangerous and lack any type of safety features. I left city part in an ambulance with a serious knee/leg injury. I do not recommend at all.

Worst paddle boats ever ! The adjustable seat are actually unstable and I almost fell in the water 3-4 times ! The paddle hardly work. They can t keep your bag at the desk during your tour. You are stuck in 20% of the beautiful lake. It was all frustration.

One of the chains came off our bike miles away from the shop. The bikes had chain guards, so it could not be fixed. We had to call the bike shop 5 times and leave 2 messages before someone answered the phone 20 minutes later. Once we finally got a hold of the bike shop, the guy told us that it was not in the companys policy to come get you if you break down and it is 100% the renters responsibility to figure out how to get the bike back to the shop if it breaks down. We were so aggravated and had to walk/carry the broken bike two miles!! We spent the entire rental period walking this broken bike back to the shop. I was so aggravated, I would have left the broken bike on the side of the road, but they kept my ID hostage and would call the cops for theft if we did not figure out a way to get the broken bike back. The man working the stand did not apologize at all, and appeared to be on drugs. The bike company did not refund us since we paid with Groupon, but luckily Groupons incredible customer service saved the day and refunded us.

Horrible service. Went out in boat for 15 minutes, kids were not liking it. They refused to refund OR allow us to use a cheaper boat. The employee dayjanell was rude. We payed good money for a terrible 15 minute ride. Would never recommend this to anyone, and would suggest dayjanell a course in customer service.

The pumpkin patch was pretty horrendous. The set up was very poor, workers did not want to be there and the hayride was undesirable.

The four wheeler bike is very slow and takes almost more effort to pedal than to walk. Take an individual bike if youre with no small kids
