Had a bike ride with some classmates. James, our tour guide, was awesome. Though we got caught in the rain at the end, I think that was the highlight of the ride, besides seeing each other after so many years. Bikes were a little uncomfortable. However, we didnt notice it too much because of the presence of my classmates, family & James (tour guide). We had an amazing time. Here are a few pics before & after the rain. 🙂🦅
This excursion was a great addition for my girls trip. Booking the bike rental was very easy and there was even a website specially for the group. I read that the bikes had character and yes they do but my bike was comfortable to ride. The guide Curtis was great. He explained the ride before hand but during the ride it was easy to keep up. We stopped at a number of places and drink and ate. The music was also great. This was an overall great experience and hope to ride the next time I come to NOLA.
The perfect ride to bring my friends bachelorette to a close. The entire bachelorette group enjoyed it. It wasn’t too long, and we made a few stops. So no worries if you’re a little rusty. Hopefully you’re paired with Curtis (Dj/guide), Tony and Herb. Curtis and the crew were attentive to the group. Would definitely ride again if ever Im in New Orleans and so should you!
After some initial hesitation to embark on this type of excursion, it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. We had a fun and lively group and a great tour guide, which made it even more fun. For the more active adventurer’s, this is one of the most fun ways to see the city. The music was pumping and the lights were shining as we weaved our way through the streets of NOLA. The people on the streets would wave as we rung the bells on the bikes and visited local hot spots. If you go, wear comfortable clothes and shoes and soak in the city.
If you’re looking for an experience for everyone to put their phones down and be present in the moment, this is it! Our group of 10 all had a great time. We were in good hands from the time we arrived, to the end of our ride. Our guide Caroline was awesome! Her bubbly personality and dance skills added the perfect touch to our experience! She was the absolute best! We will be booking again and I suggest you do too!
The bike ride was the best part of our trip we loved it and definitely will do it again.. It was soo fun our tour guide was very nice. Everybody who worked there was very nice!! Loved it and cant wait to come back to NOLA to do this again. GREAT DEAL GREAT PRICE!
Omg! My girls experience was wonderful! We definitely enjoyed. Never seen anything like it. The staff went over and beyond helping us. It was definitely a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. Thanks for everything and also creating our own website. That was so dope.
My family of 5 came to New Orleans hoping to do a light up bike tour for our anniversary. While we did not get to take one with this company due to conflicting schedules groups, the owner was in contact with me everyday a week prior to our trip to help us connect with another group for a guided tour. I was so impressed with the daily communication and the efforts that they went to try to make it work. When we return to New Orleans again, I will definitely be reaching out ahead of time to schedule with this amazing company!
We booked a night ride for Kim’s birthday and everyone had an amazing time out. The initial ride had to be rescheduled and we were accommodated. The process of booking the ride was easy as well. We 100% approve.
We had an amazing bachelorette party ride. Our guide Curtis was fun and made sure everyone was safe during the ride. I would definitely choose this company for future NOLA bike rides.
The bike ride was amazing. Our group had so much fun riding through the city and experiencing it in a unique way. Our group loved Curtis and his personality he kept us laughing snd we kept him entertained as well. Would 100% recommend this tour again.
Amazing customer service. Very polite. I booked through Jordy multiple times for my birthday and he never disappoints. Booking was easy. They reply in a timely manner and he books me at the last minute when noone else could. Thanks yall! We had a blast. I wouldnt want to rent with any other company. Oh and the prices are awesome!
This was my first biking experience with the Classy Cuties, we had a blast. Thanks again for having us and Curtis was the best escort, he was funny, patient, and was the bomb DJ...we had a party on wheels. I recommend this place to many.
Went to a bachelorette party. All the girls said it was their favorite part of our trip! Truly an amazing way to see the city! Traveling around New Orleans driving vintage bikes with your tour guide playing the music of your choice while making stops to drink, eat and shop is a CANT-MISS! I promise youll all be happy!
These bikes made our group trip to New Orleans so much better! We opted for a bike rental instead of spending money on shared rides and cabs. We had so much freedom in where we wanted to go, we didn’t have to deal with traffic or parking, and it allowed us to see the city close up! The bike rental staff was helpful!! We had one bike break down and they drove out and switched it out within 15 minutes! The rental company also provided us a big Bluetooth speaker, so not only did we look cool, but we sounded cool too! We got so many smiles and compliments on the bikes. It was a blast!! New Orleans is a very bike friendly place!! Would definitely recommend!!
We enjoyed it a lot. Very smooth and easy traction. Very affordable for quality bikes and the couple were very nice folks.
The Party Bike Ride was so much fun!Our guide, Curtis, was fantastic!I would definitely do this again.
Great experience, we choose them for every bike ride. So much fun & very professional
The bike ride was easy to book and the staff was super friendly. My group had 12 people that participated and everyone of us agreed that it was the best time ever and would choose to do this again.
Great company offering great tours of Nola! I will be booking with them again in the future!
Such a fun way to see NoLa! Music and guides were awesome, we stopped at really cool spots for pictures and some great bars, would definitely recommend to anyone coming to town!
This place rocks! I rented a bike for one night and found it to be a perfect way to explore New Orleans. They have a wide selection of bikes that are all built to withstand the incredibly poor road conditions that can be found in the city. Jane got me all set up with the bike, lock and front/rear lights. Just a heads up that they are cash only. Highly recommended!
Helloooo. I rented a bicycle for a day in this hidden bike rental. I had found a store in the quarter that would rent a bike for $20 for four hours. Well let me tell you that arts district bike rents bicycles for 24 hs for $20. What a difference uh!!You will never notice theres a bike rental there but it is there. They only have cruisers single speed. Bicycles come with a chain, lock, and a bell... And that is exactly what you have to do when you get there. Ring the bell. One more thing. Cash only baby!!!Thank arts district bikes!!!
The bike ride was very nice and fun. Tour guide was great! We will definitely be booking again.
Loved the bikes very sturdy and fun to ride. Prices are great and very reliable
I booked this bike ride for my Birthday weekend to New Orleans. It was definitely a pleasure working with Arts District Bike Rental. Everyone in my group definitely enjoyed themselves. Again thank you guys so much for the experience! I had a BALL!
We had a blast 💥🎊🎉😂😍🚴♀️
Me and my family had a wonderful time on our bike ride we will be back.
We had an awesome time! The bike tour was amazing
Had a very nice time riding the bikes around New Orleans. Our guide James was super!
The only this I can say is my experience was amazing !!! And Our tour guide Curtis was great ☺️☺️
I went there last weekend. I had a blast. I highly recommend this party bike ride.
I went on a night ride for my birthday and Im soooooooo glad I went with this company. The two guys were so great and we stopped at so many places and I really was able to take great pictures . I give them a 10 out of 10.
My tour guide Carolina was a whole vibe love her
This was the perfect idea to celebrate my daughters 17th birthday with her friends. The experience was good except 1 of the bikes has some problems and our escort fixed it.It delayed us for a minute or so but we proceeded to have fun but then ANOTHER bike actually broke and we had to wait on Canal Street for the owner to bring us ANOTHER bike.It kinda blew our moods but over all we had FUN!!!
Great way to see NoLa. Fun quirky bikes great for peddling around the garden district to see the beauty all around. Cash only, $20 for 24 hours includes fun light up wheels, heavy duty lock & chain, mini flashlight attached to basket for a headlight, a red lensed one as taillight great for visibility but its not enough light to navigate an unlit street.3 of us ladies rented these together & hands down we all 3 loved the experience & agreed it beat walking around or trying to find parking or an Uber. Recommend you look for the bike friendly routes with a bike lane. They tend to be in better shape than the some of the other streets. NoLa has some potholes big enough to swallow your bike if youre not watching where you are going. All 3 bikes had wide comfort saddles with springs to lessen the bumps a bit. All 3 had baskets too. Most were big enough to hold a bag of groceries, the 1 pictured was not but I had a backpack so it worked fine for me.Owners are flexible with return times & generally really laid back. Helmets available. When you follow Google maps to get there, know you are looking for a chain link gate between 2 buildings with vines covering it. Ring the bell, someone will come out within a couple minutes to help you. This is a family run business. Would definitely use again!
I was totally pleased with the service that was provided. Not only did they go above expectations but they worked with my group last minute. I would highly recommend Arts District Bikes Rental to locals and travelers. Im a returning customer and have plans on returning sooner. Thanks Again
The tour was really fun and the tour guides were great!
Nice 🏆👌🏾💯
The Owner Eric really nice and professional, the bikes are comfortable and good condition. The prices are reasonable and the time frame to return the bikes is great, ... I would definitely recommend this place
My party was Sunday 10/11 we had a blast Tony was amazing and Eric was very pleasant, they made my party a wonderful experience we will def. be back.
We went here the last night in New Orleans. The tour of the city was great and we truly had a blast. The sons owner was our tour guide and took some great pics of our group....and a few selfies of himself 😂😂😂. Nonetheless we enjoyed ourselves and would come again.
This establishment has poor service. I recently moved out here and wanted to allow my family to experience a night ride. The owner was SUPER RUDE with a VERY NASTY attitude. Thank God someone told us about BuzzNola. Amazing service and and excellent customer service. They actually remember to treat people like PEOPLE!
Very Nice Respectful People, Service Was Great EveryThing Was Fair, Bikes Was In Great Condition, Reply Back Fast Just Kno You Will Very Satisfies With There Service .... My Group Will Join Often
We had a great experience on Monday 08/03/2020, it was a private bike ride and the tour guide was fantastic. The ride was very smooth, I would recommend everybody to this company.
The two light-up cruiser bikes we rented made our trip! NOLA is a good biking city and when you are cruising around at night with bright spinning lights, the joy is palpable for you and everyone else. Over 4 days we rode these bikes everywhere, probably doing 10 trips a day. At $20/day and spending 0$ on cabs/ubers, the price cant be beat. Highly recommend!
Good service. Clean and well maintained bikes.
Fantastic morning cruising New Orleans on bikes. Fun and interesting stories were shared. Loved the music along the way!!!! Incredibly helpful with suggestions for afterthe official tour finished. It was great we could keep the bikes for longer (at no extra charge). Great value for the money. Defiantly see more than on a walking tour. The streets are very easy to ride and traffic amazingly respectful to bikers. So worth the time.
Very nice people. My family and I had a great time riding their bikes around New Orleans.
I called to inquire about scheduling a bike ride for a group of 10+ people. The owner immediately cut me off as I was greeting him and informed me that he was dealing with a group of people and instructed me to leave a text message with my name and the number of bikes that I intended to rent. Afterwards he said that he would get back with me in the morning. I responded Ok, well I work from 8 - 4 pm.... Before I could even ask if it was okay to call back at lunch tomorrow, he cut me off again and said, I cannot honor your request right now because Im dealing with a group of people. You will have to text me and I will get back to you I informed him that I just had a simple question but, Ill just contact someone else since he didnt have at least 30 seconds to hear me out. Im unsure if this place is under employed or, if the owner was having a bad day but, my customer care experience was not pleasant. He lost out on several customers because he didnt take 30 seconds to stop and listen to what someone had to say.
This place is the perfect spot to get bikes to ride while in town. Can rent all day of even overnight. Very nice lady that works there
Great price and very responsive to our request. Great way to check out the garden district.
Great deal. Friendly owner! Tbh I havent been here in 2 years but I was reminiscing on how much fun I had the last day we were in New Orleans and rented the bikes from here. Amazing courtyard garden area where you rent the bikes from.At first I was sketched out tbh cause its not really near anything but the owner was so kind I immediately chilled out lol. We actually ended up leaving our bags with them (we checked out of our Air BnB) and picked them back up to go to the airport.I wish we had rented bikes from them all week while we were there!
Cannot beat the value. $20 for the day was a great price. The owners were also very friendly and accommodating. It was one of the few places that offered kids bikes. To earn 5 stars: The bikes could do with a little tune up, a few of ours were a bit rusty. Also a biking map of the city would have been really helpful
The host Eric was very professional and catered to his guest individually. The experience was awesome and fulfilling I would recommend this event for all genres of peopleEric made the 3 hour bike ride energetic and fun. He was also engaging with his guest.
It was awsome
Phenomenal bike rental!! $20/24 hours (cash only). I rented a cruiser and it was perfect for leisurely exploring this wonderful city. The owner was a sweetheart and introduced me to riding with foot brakes!! Also she has an amazing garden in her backyard! Thank you for a wonderful experience :)
Awesome service! I rented 3 bikes for my birthday and the process was very easy. Only bike service in New Orleans that responded in a timely manner and were very helpful anytime we had questions. Bikes were in great shape and the lights were awesome! I recommend them to everyone. Great value for price.
Did not have bikes to accommodate
A family owned business with the most reasonable prices, cute & colorful bikes and exceptional customer service! We rented two bikes from them for a self guided trip to the Mississippi River Trail. The bikes and service were both phenomenal! Highly recommend them!
The guy let me hold his chickens! It was great!Oh and the bikes were perfect.Gliding around the city was my favorite part of my NO trip. Very good price. The place is tucked away so dont be afraid to call for directions or for when you get there and see an old hanging pig bell and dont know if you should ring it or not.
Rented four bikes over spring break for a day in the French quarter. Very affordable and didnt have any problems. Very friendly service and loved seeing her courtyard with her chickens and friendly dog! Would recommend.
Very friendly and responds to calls and text messages in a timely manner. Very accommodating and very! Amazing experience. Baskets to hold objects - phone and drinks - amazing! I will definitely come back!
This place was so fantastic! Such a unique spot run by a local family and the bikes were terrific and so full of artistry and character that was perfect for New Orleans. And they all had lights as well. Thank you Arts District Bikes!!!
This place is a gem hidden in a little oasis!!We stayed in a nearby neighborhood and didnt want to go all the way over to the Quarter to rent bicycles and Im so glad to have found this spot. The bikes were in decent shape with baskets, bells & super good locks. The ease of the whole process was wonderful. If I ever find myself in New Orleans again, Im coming back here. Thank you for providing such a valuable service and a fantastic way to explore the city.
Friendly and flexible owners! Would definitely recommend for grabbing a bike to cruise around the city.
Very nice people. Very helpful. Get what you pay for. We had 2 different occasions for flat tires, with 6 bikes and gone 5 hours, not bad. Gentleman was there to give a replacement within 10 minutes. Very impressed with the service.
So of the bikes broke down while riding. We have a group oulf 30+
It was my lil cousin and daughter’s Birthday we had a Blast but it was a little unorganized to get bikes and my tale light was out. Other than that it was a fun ride with my family and friends
Previous reviews say it all & convinced us to give it a go. Jane is nice & helped us with good bike routes to take. When we got a flat, she came out & brought a replacement to us. By the end of the day we were exhausted and full of memories.
We loved this place! More than fair priced bikes for the day. Service here was amazing! The city is perfect to bike around, just let me tell you, always lock up any bikes, even for a minute.
Cheap! The owner is very hospitable. The bikes are not shiny and new..but that actually worked. We didnt worry so much about the bikes as I would with new ones. Lights and basket included as well as a lock. Nice fat tires to ease the bumps of Nola streets
Came during the Christmas weekend and was sad to learn most bike rental stores were closed. But this place was open Christmas Eve, so we gave it a go. You cant argue against the price; best deal in the area for 24 hour rentals, plus theyre open later than most other locations. The bikes are not the newest nor sleekest in the market, but they were functioning like they should, and the owners outfitted them with all the safety features you may need. The owners services are superb and they always offered a hand if you needed bike help or recommendations during your exploration of NOLA. Im extremely thankful that I was allowed the opportunity to try this gem out, and Id recommend this place to anyone else visiting NOLA.PS: If possible, Id recommend keeping your bikes indoors or in a secure area overnight. We left our bikes secured to a bike rack outside the Hyatt Regency and found our front lights stolen the next morning.
We just completed our Month of Music stay in New Orleans. We live in downtown Denver and ride our bikes everywhere in our bike friendly city. We were encouraged by previous trips to NOLA about the increase in biking paths and dedicated lanes. I researched all the options for long-term rentals. Jane, owner of Arts District Bike Rental, was a joy to work with throughout the process. She responded to all our needs which included changing bikes 3 times for my wife and either repairing on the spot any issues we had or immediately giving us a loaner until the bike could be repaired and ready for use. The assortment of used bikes was perfect to find the one you wanted to cruise the many back streets of NOLA (some resemble the topography seen in lunar landings). We wholeheartedly recommend Arts District Bike Rental and will rent bikes from Jane every time we come to NOLA. We come to town often and have rented from other vendors in the Quarter. Arts District gives you a great value for riding a used bike with the benefit of excellent service from Jane.
Rented a bike for 24 hours and so glad I did. You do need to call when you get there (and by there I mean the gate with the wind chime, surrounded by a wall of ivy), but this initial awkwardness is a minor inconvenience. I was a tourist briefly in the city (first time in New Orleans), and I wouldnt have gotten to see nearly what I did of the town without this bike. As others have said, not the fanciest rides out there but they get the job done and with reasonable safety. Best part of my experience was how quickly I was able to swap out my bike and get back on the road, no questions asked, when I developed a chain issue after slamming back to brake when a car didnt see me (anxious driver trying to navigate festival traffic in the French Quarter). Id definitely rent again.
Very nice lady, really good price for the bikes. The owner was very flexible and let us rent the bikes over night, lent us a lock as well. The place is unmarked though so when you get close you must call.
Great value for money and great bikes. The place looked closed when I arrived but I called and the owner let me in. She was very knowledgeable and spent considerable time talking to me about the citys history and places to go, I really learnt. Nola is a great city to explore on bike.
Eric took such great care of us! Half a day into riding, he let us change out bikes for a better fit. Bikes in decent condition with cup holders and baskets. Very friendly and accommodating.
This quick little stop afforded us an up close view of N.Orleans. Turn on the A/C too!
The lady who runs it is a great person and goes out of her way to help. I hope she expands the business, as many cities would benefit from bike rental. Great service and good conversation. Definitively a positive force in the community.
We received awesome, and very friendly, service! The instructors were informative and the bikes were well equipped and ready to roll. Our group had a great time! Thank you ADBR!
Strategically located in the Art district (close to French quarter, Magazine street, St Charles street). Angelo and Jane are very organized, they have bikes of all colors shapes and sizes, fully equipped (also with lights around the tyres!!). The location itself looks like a piece of art, all the details match perfectly. They also organise tours to visit Nola by bike. Definitely recommended!
We were surprised to find that biking is the best way to get around New Orleans. Just our third day there we rented bikes here - at about half the price of places in the Quarter - and rode all around town. I highly recommend this place for the price as well as the fact that you get everything you need (locks, baskets etc) as well as tips for finding bike lanes and good ways to get around.
A little difficult to locate, but it is in between the French quarter and the garden district. just call the number on the website when you get to the address and hell come down. the best deal on bike rentals I found near my hotel. no hassle. cash only.
We rented 6 bikes for the Jazzfest and they were great Price was affordable and all the bikes worked great. Would definitely use them again
Nice experience
Good people. low price. well maintained bikes. I can tell they like what they do.
Sadly we attempted two different visits to New Orleans to do a tour bike ride with this company. It never happen. Perhaps we need more information on your website on the exact days and times of the tours. We were so disappointed. 😢
Had a great time riding the bikes and they even had a bike that my son was able to ride with me.
Awesome place to have a good time enjoy and see the sights. Jam to some music while riding, have a drink snd enjoy the awesomeness of New Orleans
Aug 4 2018 all I can say we had a blast..And we are planning our second ride..Theeeeè Best!
A wonderful honest business. The bikes are perfect for exploring the Big Easy. I wish they were located in every major city in the world.
Great place for renting a bike! Additionally, they gave us an amazing support in the middle of our journey when we got flat tire, they just came over with a another bike. THANKS!!
We decided to rent bikes as a last minute activity. We found them on Google and were a little confused when we arrived. Its actually his house, its not a business. We called the number listed and he cam down right away. We paid and were able to head out after about 10 minutes. We returned the bikes same day and only had them for a few hours. But $20 for 24 hours is a bargain! We would rent from them again.
Eric is the best! We had a great time celebrating my birthday.
