I have been with Cas Fontenot for over 15 years and I have always had the best insurance and service with them. I have all my policies with them (life, auto, homeowners) and they have exceeded my expectations with each. They know me by name and Mr. Fontenot has even traveled himself to bring documents to me. His staff is the absolute best and are always prompt with answering my emails and calls. There is no other agency like this one, and no one has ever come close to beating their rates. Very disappointed with this experience. I purchased renters and flood insurance through this branch. The renters insurance process went fine but the flood insurance purchasing was extremely frustrating. First, I was told that I needed to pay 137 annual amount. About two weeks later I was informed that I needed to pay an additional three dollars, which was fine. This was a little frustrating because I am in the height of hurricane season and need my flood insurance to be implemented ASAP. Then, I was informed by another agent that I needed to provide proof a residency documents and that my insurance was not valid until this was done. I never received proof of residency documents nor was I told I needed to fill those out. So finally, I get a letter saying my flood application has been withdrew and that I need to start this process completely over. This is unacceptable and I should have been notified multiple times prior to my application being rejected. I will not be going through State Farm every again and I will be sure to tell others about this experience.

I got a call from this office. The person just left a first name and said call me back and didnt say why. This reads like one of those spam emails where the subject line is meant to sound like its coming from a friend except I dont expect to get that sort of thing from a local office. I called back and I couldnt talk to the guy but I told the receptionist to tell him to leave me a message that says what he is calling about because it sounds like this is some sales pitch. She replied it probably is. I CANT BELIEVE A LOCAL OFFICE WOULD RESORT TO TACTICS THAT SOUND LIKE A NIGERIAN PRINCE SCAM. I get enough random sales calls everyday, over 90% of the calls I get are just that. Im appalled that a real life insurance agency would add to that. Ive had car insurance with State Farm already and was very very disappointed with the service. Cold calling me is the absolute last thing that will get me back to State Farm.
