Patient and knowledgable. Had email correspondence before coming in (about 1-2 days to respond) and they answered all of my questions in detail.Let me demo some setups in store and Richie is very detailed with his responses and you can tell this guy just loves talking audio. Set me up with my first home stereo system and answered every question I had along the way.

This place is by far the best AV store in New Orleans. I came in around January of this year, unannounced, and Richie sat down with me for about an hour discussing my home AV project. We looked at any and all potential wiring options, and he designed my entire structured wiring for my home. He also gave me 3 different equipment installation bids for my home, so I was able to find the right package that suited me. Richie sent out his technician team in May and they knocked out my 3200 sq ft in 2-3 days. The wiring was clean, organized, and they spent the time to walk me through everything. Then, once my house was finished in September, Richie sent his team in to do the equip installation. I bought 2 65 Sony TVS, 3 55 Sony TVs, 1 40 Sony TV, 2 Sony ES receivers, a control4 system for the rest of my home, Klipsch speakers, SVS subwoofers, a new wifi router, and various other devices. (Everything worked correctly, except for one of my TVs. It was defective out of the box, and they swapped it out almost immediately.) His technicians (the same techs that did the wiring) were very knowledgeable and patient, as I am pretty stupid when it comes to electronics. Richie has provided great service after the fact, walked me through any questions that I have, and he has even come back out a couple times, free of charge. It took me awhile to finally learn the Control4 system, but I finally got the hang of it. It works great. My AC, lighting, audio, video all work from my phone!! I cannot recommend this place enough to people who are interested in AV systems or Home Theater. Go talk to Richie if you need help. 6 stars. A++. Thanks for everything guys. -Corey

After spending $9,000 on tvs and audio and many visits when it failed to perform I was advised I needed the 4 month old tv repaired.Argued I should have a replacement-eventually Samsung agreed but this company wanted $200 to take off the wall and mount the replacement .After much discussion the tv was to be delivered to within 8 days to (14days ago)me and I was instal as I wouldn’t pay $200! I am their customer and they are Samsung’s so Samsung should pay them.As at today, still a tv that won’t work as per specs.Good sales people very poor follow up advice -should have dealt local on the NShore!

My husband and I were looking for a television where the sound would come out through headphones and the TV simultaneously with the ability to control both volumes independently. We also wanted the sound just to come out of the headphones only. I attempted this purchase at Best Buy following their advice on what to purchase. By the fourth trip, I was returning everything I had purchased. This is when I started searching for a different business. We walked into New Orleans Audio & Video and Richie Jr. greeted us. He understood our needs and asked if we could give him a couple of days to figure it out. We came back to the business and Richie had all the equipment set up so that we could test it before we made the purchase. Completely satisfied, we made the purchase and set up the installation date. We would highly recommend this business because they are knowledgeable, professional and a local business that has been around for obvious reasons.

I am certainly not an audio/video expert, but I did know that I wanted a really nice setup for my home. Once I went into New Orleans Audio Video, I was blown away by the different options and installs that they could do for me. The sky was the limit. I ended up purchasing a 65 television along with Definitive Technology surround sound equipment. NOAVs installers came to my home and installed everything and, most importantly, taught me how to use all the new equipment!The installers were able to hide all the wires and put all of the audio/video equipment into a little used utility closet in my home. They were very professional and respectful, and surprisingly tidy!I would highly recommend NOAV because of their knowledge, speed and customer service.

I had been in the market for a new HD television for a while before visiting Richie Savoies New Orleans Audio Video. I found the best prices and quality products after talking to Richie - not to mention his knowledge of the products in his store as compared to some of the big box stores I visited. Simply put, I wish I visited New Orleans Audio Video first, because their store is a one stop shop.

I have been reviewing home automation systems for about 6 months before I finally decided to go with a Control4 system. I saw that New Orleans Audio Video in Harahan was an authorized dealer/installer so I decided to check them out. Richie installed the system for remote monitoring of my lighting, air conditioning, and alarm system. The best part of the system is the iPhone app which allows me to control all this from anywhere! This system has also cut down on my power bill which is about $20 cheaper. If youre interested in home automation, I highly recommend checking out Control4 from NOAV.

Had the best Sony TV that I wanted at an extremely competitive price. They delivered the next day and even tolerated my ridiculous dogs who ended up running amuck all over my front yard :-P TVs box and TV itself were in perfect condition upon unboxing it several days after delivery.
