Benjamin, our technician, did an outstanding job. He was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Our 12 year old ductless HVAC unit had never been serviced and was performing poorly. Benjamin thoroughly cleaned the unit, coils and vents and now our system works like new. We couldnt be happier with the service Benjamin and Climate Tamers provided.

If I could rate Kyle and Shelby a 100, I would. Shelby was so sweet, courteous and timely. KYLE, his parents must be so proud to have such a courteous, intelligent and responsible son. And, CT is so blessed to have him as an employee! He came right away, did most of the job that morning, then came back, on my schedule, to complete the job. I am giving 2 stars as my first few experiences with this company were good. Very nice people and responsive. However, my latest experience was not good. I have two AC units. Larger one was not working and the smaller unit was struggling. The larger unit was fixed by replacing a capacitor and unclogging a drain at a cost of over $500. I should have replaced the capacitor myself since it’s a $16 part and takes all of 10 minutes to do. I was told the other unit, a 10 year old, higher end American standard should be replaced completely including Inside unit, outside unit, and furnace. This sounded odd to me. I had another company come out for a second opinion the following day and they found absolutely nothing wrong with the unit. It was simply struggling to keep up during the day when the main unit was out. That AC has been working perfectly since. Gauges showed that Freon levels were fine and the temp split was 18 degrees which is normal. This second opinion cost me $98. The new and unneeded AC would have cost me well over $7000. I will have to switch AC repair vendors based on this experience.

I was so pleased with Climate Tamers. I woke up to my AC broken in a home that we just moved into. I called around and most companies said they couldn’t come till next week but Climate Tamers said they would come that day, thankfully because the heat index was over 100*. It wasn’t due to lack of business either because I heard the tech on the phone talking about several other jobs he was going to be doing that day 😳 Anyway, they came on time and called when they got here (I have a sign that says “don’t ring - sleeping baby”). They trouble shot the system and found multiple clogs. They cleaned the whole thing - they even wiped up the wet tracks so they didn’t leave my house dirty. Afterward I asked the tech how to maintain it (I’m a first time homeowner) and he showed me what to do and gave me a maintenance product recommendation. I’m very pleased and I feel much more equipped to care for the system now.

The owner Brad was extremely helpful and easy to work with. He was so responsive and made the whole process seem less. They changed my AC condensor and had everything put back in place in a matter of hours. Highly recommend this company!

Our ceiling in parts of our house had fallien down due to hurricane Ida. We were desperate for help,, especially when several days after the storm a rain shower caused water to drip a great deal over my head. It was more than a drip!When it started to rain I called Brad Miller for help with a tarp. He had done work down our street yesterday. Brad was Superman to the rescue when I contacted him. Two hours after we spoke there were workmen on the roof. We can sleep well tonight as Brad Miller made the Superhuman effort to come to these 80 year olds rescue. Just moved into house last December. As it got hotter the A/C was not cooling properly. I called Climate Tamers, the installers of the unit. They immediately changed the warranty to my name and set up an appointment for the next day. Kyle was prompt and diagnosed the problem quickly. He fixed the cooling issue with no charge. Kyle was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

I have been swindled out of money by companies in New Orleans that pretend they can do the work but can’t and don’t. Climate tamers came through in a pinch.. AC compressor wasn’t kicking in. They knew exactly what the issue was and was able to get it repaired quickly.

Hurricane Ida knocked my AC over and they were there the day the electricity came back on to set it back up and do a quick function check to make sure everything was alright.

They were on time and very professional. They took care of all the paperwork and made it very easy for me to enjoy my new system quickly. Would completely use them again for my downstairs unit when it comes time.

We were referred originally to Brad at Climate Tamers on our New Orleans NextDoor message board, which is filled with many picky and vocal people. We then went to Google to dig further and found that his company is 5 star rated, with detailed reviews. This is important. He was also noted to be a go-to for any heating or AC repairs or installations. Brad at Climate Tamers was professional, timely, responsive and importantly, on time. We dealt with two other AC/furnace repair/installation companies who were good, but Brad went the extra mile. My husband, who is an engineer, was pleased to find a HVAC geek and was very happy with all the detail and time spent answering his questions re: the system and what to expect if we kept other parts of the system, since the outside condenser unit had been changed a couple of years ago. We also had an odd install in the attic and the unit was low and this made it difficult to deal with the overflow trays and condensate lines. All of this was worked out ahead of time to our satisfaction, a very fair price agreed upon AND a 2 year labor warranty with a 10 year parts warranty! He and his team showed up on time, finished the removal and installation in the estimated time period, and upon inspection everything looked great and exactly as we had been told. Called last night, was here the next morning. Very friendly, very adept, very knowledgeable. A/C was not turning on, determined faulty thermostat. Ran out to get one. back in 20 minutes, 5 minute fix. Only $45 visit, but the thermostat could have been purchased much cheaper. Im fine with it.
