I am revising my review regarding the U-Sand floor sander I rented from West Street Power.The floor sander is not up to optimum performance. Today, both Steve, of West St and I independently called Cherry Hill Manufacturing to obtain more info about this. I spoke to Jeff Marcum, who stated he didn’t want to come out against the rental company, but admitted if I purchased a new sander, I would expect a better performance. At various times both parties tried to convince me that out of a 6” diameter sandpaper, the best I could expect would be what I got, a 1/2” circumference of use out of each sheet. That cost normally would have emptied my purse if about $200.I did show these pictures to a fine home building wood expert who has also used the machine in the past without experiencing this problem.The West Street Power company accommodated the problem monetarily and with the assurance the machine heads would be sent back to Cherry Hill Mfg for inspection, and or repair.Steve, representing West Street Power tried to reach a satisfactory compensation for me, therefore my review has made 3 stars.

I wanted to thank you for the great support and top quality rental equipment. I came in from out of state to help family after several storms. The staff went above and beyond when my 2” ball was damaged and unusable. The mechanic found a viable 2” ball that had been thrown away. That was the best performing 6” chipper I’ve ever rented. Ive rented at least half dozen ranging from locally owned shops, national rental companies and box stores. Worked it for more than four hours without a snag. I strongly recommend your business because of your helpful staff and your equipment.

We brought our tractor to get repaired and was told it would take 2 weeks, it ended up taking a month and no calls to let us know of the delay. We had to call number ours times to just get any type of update. Then was billed for a battery and labor of install that was never purchased. Would try someplace else. Too many choices in the area to try. Will not be a repeat customer.

I recently considered replacing my old Craftsman chainsaw. I visited West Street Power and Jeff asked me a few questions and then showed me their entire line of chainsaws, describing the pros and cons of each. There was no pressure to buy any particular saw, and in fact, no pressure to buy any saw at all. I left with a lot of information. After exploring various chainsaws on Amazon and the big box stores, I returned to West Power and bought my new saw. While I was settling up I could hear my new saw being test run out back. A few minutes later, Collin came in with my fully assembled and adjusted saw and patiently and thoroughly went over all the features and operation of the saw. I spent the rest of the afternoon cutting stuff up. Good guys, a fair price. Ill shop there again, and recommend them to my friends.

Our property needed some thinning, so my loving wife purchased a chain saw for me from West St. Power as a birthday present. The most fun a woodsman or woodswoman can have going to New Milford. West street power has chainsaw equipment galore, to small machine servicing, I have been thrilled all around with my fixed generator, fixed leaf blower, and new equipment.

I love the guys at West Street. They handle Husqvarna and Stihl among other brands. I bought a Husqvarna 48 inch24 horse riding mower and a hi end Husky string trimmer and love the power. Sharpened my mower blades so that I could shave with them, made a huge difference in the cut of the lawn. So glad we finally have a full service power company in town and they have the time to treat their customers with respect.

I recently purchased a Husqvarna tractor at West Street Power. They were fantastic to work with. I highly recommend using West Street Power for your lawn equipment.
