I called with a service request, having had trouble with my pellet stove. Kristina scheduled a tech to visit within days, and then called backagain when they had a cancellation and could accommodate me sooner. Scott was on time, serviced the stove and explained the problem clearly.The stove was purchased at The Trading Post years ago and we’ve have had excellent service from the beginning, can’t say enough about the staff and their attentiveness! Ive been using Trading Post for the last 7 years or so to maintain and repair my pellet stove along with getting parts or pellets there. Service was great. I live in guilford and had to call 10 places to find a replacement part for our pellet stove before this weekend snow came in. Drive hour half to the store they bagged it up and left it outside for me to get.

My Wife and I visited just yesterday. We found the staff (Dave) in particular to be very helpful. We did not buy our hot tub from them and now I wish we did. He was more than happy to help even though we did not purchase from him. I left feeling comfortable and educated on the chemicals needed to balance the water.I would recommend purchasing from this location.

I bought my stove from trading post going on 5 years now and have received nothing but outstanding service from the staff. When I have a question about the stove the staff is always willing to take the time to answer the question. Paul and Dave are very knowledge able about all the stoves. In regards to customer service there is no one as good as Christina. She is always pleasant to talk to. She has helped me out many a time when I had a problem with the stove she was able to get a service man to look at the problem as soon as possible. I work in retail and I have never met a person who is as genuine and caring as Christina.

Shopped around ended up back at the Trading Post, great service. Actually have a knowledgeable staff compared to the other places I visited. Was recommended to go there and will send more people to them. I got my stove fast and installation was a great experience.

Really not impressed with the Trading Post for stoves or hot tubs (cannot speak to kayak etc.). We live 1 mile away and have 3 pellet stoves and a hot tub. Because of the convenience, I have given them multiple chances to impress me with either price or service and they consistently disappoint. They are expensive and overpriced. And their service is erratic, sometimes friendly, sometimes indifferent, sometimes downright nasty (person who sets up stove service appointments is consistently rude - my husband who is way too nice usually - even cannot stand speaking with her. He says she talks to him as if he has done something wrong.) We finally called it quits and wont be stepping foot in the store again.

Great customer service. They really went out of their way to help us replace the glass on our wood stove.
