I was sold a 2012 Hyundai Tucson. it was working well for the first three months, just enough time for the Warrantee to run out and then I have broken down more times than I can count. The car will not start it has something to do with the electrical and I was not informed about any of this. Worst place ever.

Stopped in to have them check my tire valves, even tho I purchased the tires elsewhere. Not only did they replace the faulty valves, they sealed the other 2, reset the sensors, explaining everything in easy to understand language, no BS, and no charge! Every time Ive been there, everyone from the counter person to the mechanics are exemplary. Highly recommend this place!!

Every time I have to visit Town Hill it’s a pleasant experience. It’s one of the few garages where I feel like I’m being told the truth. Besides their honesty customer service is always great and every employee that I’ve come across is always kind and pleasant. Very happy that I found them.

We were sold a truck in November 2017 that had issues right away. They also sold us a warranty. So we brought the truck back, and it sat there for MONTHS. We got the run around the whole time, and they have zero record of the truck ever being serviced. We got the truck back, we were told they put a new “block” in it. No further explanation, no invoice. Still had the same problems. Now our warranty company is telling us they delivered an engine to Town Hill, Town Hill says they have no record Of putting an engine in. So where the hell is my engine?! Theft. That’s what that’s called. Now they refuse to take my calls without a lawyer present. Really nice, right?

Came here to get my breaks done first they ran a diagnosis to see if what I came in for was really what i needed and they actually found out what needed to be done with fast service. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!I always take our automobiles to Town Hill Auto for emission testing. Very little wait time. This past visit I spoke to Oryn regarding a new tow hitch for my 2003 Ford Ranger I just purchased. He checked it out thoroughly and quoted me a very good price compared to other garages. He ordered the parts and said they would call to schedule installation. Three days later the parts came in and we scheduled installation next day. I dropped pick-up off. Within two hours I received a call from Peter saying the truck was ready. Pick up was ready as promised. Price was as quoted. They even checked the original Ford harness to insure that it was working, at no additional charge. Job well done. I will return to have work done on other vehicles as needed! Very satisfied!

I had a great experience at Town Hill. I told John what I was looking for and he instantly helped me pick out a great car. Within an hour him and Cooper not only got me accepted and ready to go but gave me a loaner car for the night so they could detail my new car and so I wouldnt have to uber to work the next day.They went above and beyond even helping me find the cheapest car insurance when I was finding outrageous prices. As a lone female walking into a place to buy a car, it can be nerve wracking but they are honest and helpful and want you to leave there with a safe, reliable car. Very friendly, efficient service! These guys squeezed me in at the very last minute of the day (4:59pm) for an emissions test, after the Firestone guy down the street had checked out 15 minutes early (4:45pm). They were extremely nice about it, didnt complain that I came by last minute, and they had the test done in less than 5 minutes!

I go here because it is the closest emissions testing station and they are good people. They get you in and out as quickly as possible. While waiting I have inspected their used car offerings and they seem to have a good selection of clean vehicles for sale.

Bobby and Scott were great at first but when we went to ask about an issue with the car they stated they needed to collect another payment from us, even though the bank stated otherwise. We gave them the payment and at the end of the week the bank for the loan tried to take payment and cost us an additional 29.00 for the failed transaction. Went back to THA to find out what happened with the payment we gave them and without calling the bank or anything, Bobby brings me to the office for a refund. Why didnt the bank ever receive payment? Wouldnt you look into what happened? The immediate refund is fine because I got what I wanted but seems sketchy to me. Called the bank to verify and they had only received the initial payment from them!! Eva in the office is sweet. She handled my situation perfectly and even gave me the necessary steps to getting the $29 fee back. Its sad that their salesmen cant handle a very simple customer issue (like taking money and not giving it to the bank) and immediately tell you to calm down and that you have an attitude when you just want to make sure your car payments are going where the should. And this time, it didnt. So I had every right to go investigate the situation and thankful that I did.

I have been regular customer for few years now, needed various repairs,tune ups, tires, mirrors...always fairly priced, fast work turnaround, and honest good advice. Love these people.

Service was good until you walk out the door.Was experiencing some minor issues with my car. And from there perspective if I had any issues they would take care of it. Following under safety precautions. Literally bought this car two days ago. Called a day later. Spoke to one of the representatives. Saying they would call me back. Never received one.I called again, to see my status. Seems the representative got the message of my issues. But had no intention of calling back. And now they are trying to charge me for something they said if I had issues with to come back and they will take care of.

Disrespectful service. Was treated as if I was an inconvenience that I chose them to work on my truck. Wanted a diagnostic on an issue with my truck since I was already there for another problem. Was told that a computer diagnostic was going to be 120 dollars. Left and got it done for free at All Pro in Old lyme.If you want disrespectful and overpriced service Town Hill Auto is the number 1 for that.If you want service with a hows your day going so far and fair pricing go to All Pro in Old Lyme. Not only did they do my emissions retest quickly, but they identified and fixed my out tail light while it was going on.

Ive had several very positive experiences with Town Hill Auto service department. In each case, I called ahead and got in for service the same day. Service on my 2001 Toyota Camry was prompt, professional and cost was reasonable for seat belt latch repair and troubleshooting headlight problem. I drove 20 miles out of my way to go there. Good people, good service.

I have done business with their Service Department and found that they treat you like youre the most important person in the world. While my car was being serviced, I noticed that they offer maintenance specials with affordable prices you wont find anywhere.

Bought a car from them last summer. I like the car runs well but it needed a new clutch. Was not aware of it at the time I test drove it. I dealt with the older salesman, I guess the head salesman he is a real dealer and you can tell he is made for selling. Be careful when you deal with him because he is good at selling anything even if it has problems.

Earlier this week, I was unable to get my Honda Odyssey started. When my battery tester showed the battery was defective, I called AAA. However, when they came out they were unable to jump it and thought the starter was bad and wouldnt replace the battery until that was fixed. I had the van towed to Town Hill Auto. Oryn jumped right on the problem and soon informed me that neither the battery or the starter needed to be replaced. Instead the alternator was bad. In addition to replacing that, Oryn and his staff also replaced two defective TPMS valves on two tires and got the whole thing fixed the same day. In these days, when it is more and more difficult to locate an honest place to have your vehicle serviced, never mind a competent one, Oryn, Peter and the rest of the staff at Town Hill Auto are like a refreshing breath of fresh air. Reliable, honest, competent and efficient!!

I bought a BMW X3 from this dealership and Ive had NOTHING but problems with it. New rear coils and air flow sensors cost me well over 1K to fix but thats nothing compared to the quote they gave me to fix the issues. I brought it to them twice (less than 90 days owning it) because the service engine light came on. They told me it was just the gas cap sensor. Ive had the car for less than 6 months and Paid top dollar for this used vehicle - expected the owner to not pull one over on me but I was very wrong. Nothing but junk cars and hustling.

No. Horrible experience. I spent over $1000 dollars with their service department. My tire supposedly blew out when they test drove the vehicle, however, it looked more like it was slashed. They said they were not responsible. They are a joke. The manager doesnt know how to treat customers. He was very rude. I guess this business doesnt realize word of mouth in a small town is everything. My rating would be no stars if it allowed.

Bought a beautiful truck from Town Hill but they didnt service it properly. The day we left the dealership the truck was smoking and burning from under the hood. The owner was already home with our pristine traded in truck. We had to go back 3 times, from an hour away, to get all the repairs corrected. The 4th issue was a leaking brake caliper and the truck was not safe to drive. We got it serviced locally & Town Hill wouldnt stand behind their work or reimburse us the labor cost of the repair that they didnt do properly!!!! They did a shotty job with all the repairs! We gave them every opportunity to do the right thing... THEY DIDNT!!!! I would never recommend this place or the owner! The one star is because there was no option to give them no stars!
