Excellent service. Very promptly took care of our outdated ac unit in this extremely hot weather. Ac quit working & within a couple days RCM had us back in the cool zone in no time at all. There service technicians & installers are very professional at the work they do, & they answered all our questions we had & had the job done super quick. I had such a positive experience with RCM. This company went above and beyond to help us with our pool heater. Chris squeezed us in despite having a backlog of customers on a Saturday morning (holiday weekend too) because our pool heater was out of service. We had a pool party planned that weekend as well as one for our son’s birthday party that was the coming weekend. She is personable, extremely attentive and runs an excellent HVAC company. Her seasoned technician, Randy, is excellent at what he does. Very well versed and on time. I highly recommend RCM for any of your HVAC/pool heater needs.

Bill answered the phone early in the morning and had Randy out to the house in about an hour. Randy has been our tech for 10 years and I doubt we’ll ever find a nicer man to welcome to our home. These are the people to call for maintenance, repair, or replacement if you are in the Frankfort area.

RCM installed a wall furnace in my garage. They did an excellent job! Explained everything as they worked. Very knowledgeable. Hauled away all the old equipment and packaging. Made sure everything was working properly before they left. Extremely satisfied! Will definitely be using them for our heating and ac needs.

I was having an issue with my pool heater. I called and spoke with one of their service reps. He told me that I am out of their area for service,which I knew I was. He spent 20 min on the phone asking questions and then hearing my response then his answers. He didn’t have to waste any of his time and for that thank you I appreciate the advice and customer service when you didn’t have to. Great customer service wish I lived closer!!

Our furnace stopped working on a cold Sunday morning and RCM had a technician at our house within 1 hour of calling. Jeff and Randy are two RCM technicians we’ve had service our home and both have been great. I recommend RCM to anyone with heating and cooling needs.

First off, the service tech arrived before the scheduled window which is always a plus! Arrived 10mins after I got off the phone!!! Upon arrival he checked the a/c unit adding freon at nearly $100 a pound before performing a diagnostic which showed the fan / motor was the problem. Furthermore, when I received the bill I noticed I was still charged for the diagnostic which is usually waived when other work is performed...overall good customer service may use again in the future, not sure yet.Correction...tech did not travel through the storm, it wasnt that bad in my area and the rain and wind started after the tech arrived. Another correction, would be that I was not informed of the diagnostic not being waived during the initial call and if I didnt ask about the charge it wouldnt even been brought up. I do appreciate the call I had with someone at the company a day after service regarding the fee. But dont appreciate the false statements given within the written reply.

Have used RCM in the past for heating and cooling at home. They are very responsive, professional and friendly. I just had the furnace stop pushing air. I called RCM and within an hour Jeff, the technician showed up. He had the issue diagnosed right away, bad capacitor. He changed it out and ran the unit checking the motor. When all was clear he cleaned the glow plug closed it up and good as new. These guys are really reliable. Highly recommended.

We had issues with our furnace and I had a good experience with service technician, Kevin! He was very knowledgable and when I asked a question, he took his time to explain what he was doing and checking. Ive always had good experiences when using RCM. The company being local is a huge advantage as well.

Jeff installed a humidifier for our furnace. He was very knowledgeable and walked me through operations and maintenance after the installation. Communicating with RCMs office and setting up the appointment was also very simple and everything went smoothly.

Randy did an amazing job. He took the time to show me what was going on and what needed to be fixed/cleaned with my furnace. I will definitely have RCM back out to check my AC unit in the summer. If you need an honest company that thoroughly inspects your Heating and/or AC unit you need to call RCM.

We were new to the area and read some reviews and decided to use RCM. It turns out it was a really great decision. A furnace, water heater and two sump pumps later, we could not be happier with the honesty and work ethic of the staff that came out to our house.

My hot water heater failed on Christmas Eve. No hot water and seriously leaking. RCM installed a new one and removed the old one the day after Christmas. Randy and Ryan were professional, efficient, and explained everything. I use RCM for annual furnace and air conditioning service as well. I recommend this company.

I had another company come out prior and the technician said I needed a new furnace for 3400.00 or a repair for 1700.00 but most likely would go up once new board was in and other problems would be found. After a recommendation for a second opinion I called RCM. I spoke with Bill and told him what happened. I was told that it should be half that cost but would need a tech to verify. The technician Jeff was able to come out and diagnose and fix the problem for even less than half of the repair charge of the other company. I would recommend this company to anyone in a second.

The day I called RCM it was 94 degrees outside and 96 degrees in my house. They were quick to pick up and were able to dispatch a technician to my house within 3 hours. Jeff showed up and was awesome. He was quickly able to diagnose what was wrong with the AC unit and fix it within an hour or so. Immediately the house started to cool down and everything felt comfortable again within a few hours. He even went above and beyond to give us tips on maintenance, how to better regulate the air flow with dampers, and was extremely genuine and personable the entire time. If you are looking for timely help, a great price, and great service call RCM.

I think these guys ripped us off. We are an elderly couple and i told my husband to call the guys that did our hvac installation. He called rcm. Anyway charged 154dollars for a checkup on 2 yr old ac. Ripoff.

I called late in the day because my AC stopped working. Someone called me right back and Jeff was at my house within an hour. Told him it stopped and house fan wouldnt kick on, he knew right away to start with my furnace and he found the problem right away. He still check the entire unit to he sure there were no other problems. Thorough, knowledgeable and timely, very impressed with this company! Would highly recommend.

I decided to use RCM after reading so many five star reviews that were posted, I was not disappointed. On Sunday afternoon I left an email describing my non emergency furnace issue and a couple of dates that would work for me. I got a response from Joe on Monday for an appointment on Tuesday morning. On Tuesday Jeff, the service tech, called me to let me know he was going to be here a half hour early. While diagnosing the issue I called about Jeff was friendly and took the time to explain what he was doing and what needed to be done. I am glad I decided to use RCM and have added them to my phone for any further HVAC problems.

My Boiler stopped working.Was assigned 1 rep who could not make it to my residence in the time window that was provided to me, so he called to update and then advised maybe another rep can come out. Then that 2nd rep called me to say he can come out earlier than the previous rep. I love being in the loop on these things especially when my only source of heat is not working.The rep was friendly and professional, Jeff. He realized our flue was backed up due to partially collapsed cover on the roof. He requested to perform maintenance on the boiler and all has been well since then.Pricing is fair.

Cant beat these guys ! I was using another firm out of Joliet and their quality of service was maybe a 1 star. I own a Auto Facility and were very big on customer satisfaction and were very technical. So when a repair man comes out and doesnt pull a Volt meter out or gauges I get nervous.A technician for RCM named Jeff showed up and talk about impressive service and in my opinon one of the most honest and knowledgebale HVAC guys Ive seen. I have been a customer of RCM’s for about 12 years. When I recently needed to replace my furnace and AC I had them bid on the job. Ultimately I obtained multiple bids from local competitors and some were less expensive. However, those firms were not very responsive to my follow up questions –some not at all which is puzzling given that they spent an hour assessing the job only to essentially disappear afterwards (wasting their time and mine). I compared this service to Bill of RCM who was very responsive and even spent an additional 1.5 hours with me on a follow up visit to go over ductwork changes and other modifications that would improve the cooling of my home. After weighing this along with the excellent service I have received during the past 12 years, I chose RCM to replace my furnace and AC.The job was fairly major including ductwork changes to correct airflow issues from the original install 17 years prior which resulted in poor cooling. After starting the job, Bill’s installer Jeff came up with a better solution to improve airflow and even though it would require more time, Bill approved the change at no charge because he wanted to do whatever was needed to improve my poor cooling situation. This resulted in the job taking nearly 14 hours for Bill’s team: Jeff - who was here for the entire install and did meticulous work; Randy - who had to modify a tricky AC install due to the location of the unit; and Ed - who modified much of the added sheet metal work. Bill also spent a great deal of time assisting his crew by installing the humidifier and performing other tasks to ensure that we would not go a night without AC (it was a hot humid day). The job was completed at approximately 930 pm. The house was cool by 11pm.Prior to the install, my AC would struggle to keep the house at 78 degrees on a typical Chicago summer day. Now we can run it at 74 degrees and the unit actually cycles on and off as opposed to running for 10 hours without shutting off.While I tend to be a loyal person, it still makes sense to obtain multiple bids for such a costly job which I did. I ultimately chose RCM because of the service I received over the years, one of which was an emergency call on a frigid day and Randy was out within a couple of hours and restored my heat. The level of service I received with the install reinforced my decision to remain with RCM. As for the price, the change that Bill approved to improve airflow added a lot of time to the install. I am convinced that none of the other companies would have been willing to absorb the additional work at no charge. Bill of RCM did it because he wanted to ensure I was satisfied with the new system which I am. So, ultimately RCM won out on service and price. I highly recommend RCM!

Called RCM on one of the coldest days of the year at 2:30pm, and they set me up for an appt. at 4:00 the same day. Our furnace was completely out at this time. Randy called to say he was going to be a little late, which was very courteous. Not only did he tune up the furnace, he showed me several of the parts, what to watch for to make sure things keep working well, and even took a picture on his phone to show me a problem I couldnt see otherwise. Randy also checked our vents and cleaned out a clogged one for me. He went above and beyond, educating us about how to get the most out of our furnace. Price was a deal, I had a coupon, and you just cant beat RCMs trustworthiness.
