We were very pleased with the home siding renovations completed by Hendo. Bob and crew were professional, skilled, neat and punctual. I’m very particular when it comes to repairs to my property which is the reason I do much myself but this job was just to large for me to handle. Hendo was the first contractor I called and after receiving several bids some higher some lower I felt Hendo was the right choice based on their recommendations how to properly install the vinyl siding, quality of materials, overall cost and presentation. While I may have done a few things differently (just because I’m a bit of a perfectionist) I highly recommend Hendo for your home repairs and renovations.

All work was done in a professional manner. We received a price quote immediately after our roof was inspected. All work was completed in a timely manner. I was very satisfied with the workmanship.

Had a door with broken glass. The door was all scratched out from the dogs. Bob the owner came out and took a look and really consulted me on what would work. We built our sunroom back in Sept. It adds a lot more space to our house. It is so beautiful that everyone likes to hangout there. It looks good in sunny days, rainy days and snowy day. Hendo company is professional. They always respond if we have any questions. We highly recommend this company.

Does great work, top notch. Only issue is that it can be difficult to get in touch with Bob for small issues and for follow up of any leftover problems once the job is done. Dont let that stop you from using them as you will be happy with their work.

We finally had a new roofs and gutters installed on our 1800s Victorian. Two additions, bay windows and a porch roof added to the complexity of the job. The entire process beginning with contacting Bob for an estimate to the completion of the job was an excellent experience. Jim, the project supervisor, attended to all the details and the crews experience was evident each day. We are extremely satisfied and will recommend Hendo Contracting to our friends.

**UPDATE 5/30/2017**Not long after this post, the beam was replaced. Some great work. Just wish the customer service portion was better. So much more work to be done. 3 stars for great work.Used Hendo Contracting to replace my balcony in April 2016. There was one bad beam that I have called several times to have it replaced as it is uneven with the rest of the beams and we have stumped our toes several times. Began calling in November 2016 and still not replaced til this day. Call several times and no one calls back. When I call, they say that someone has already taken care of the issue but the marked beam is still not replaced.

Good contractor for initial work. But dont ask them to come back...they do not respond! Poor customer service. We hired Hendo Contracting to take care of several items on our house, one item being adding sealer to our roof. After only a few months the sealer is peeling right off the roof! On windy days you can find sealer blown all over our yard. Contact Hendo several times via email, no response. Called spoke to Bob, who response we will send someone out. They never do! I would not use this contractor again. Unreliable!

I have used Hendo for three jobs over the past few years. They renovated a room installing windows and sliding doors, installed an outdoor staircase and installed a new front door and half moon window. They are very professional, courteous and do what they say. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a great general contractor. Bob and his sons and team are A+.

Hendo contracting sided my home and replaced all my windows – the quality was top notch. They were easy to work with. I would highly recommend.

As long as everything is fine with the client, they are fine, If there is a any problem or you dont like anything they do, you are screwed. After they finish with my house, first rain comes and i get a leak in the middle of living room. i called them, they came and put some silicone on the roof and it stops the leak. now he wont pay for the painters cost to fix the ceiling. dont want to hear it, telling me its impossible that the leak was caused by him. Very rude and annoying to deal with it. I dont care about the money i had to pay to the painter, but his approach to any detail or mistake is just wrong. they were the most expansive from four different companies, but i took them thinking situation like this could be prevented.I would not recommend them to anybody.

Amazing Work

First, took the day off to meet with Bob to discuss new roof & siding options at my home. Then it took some convincing for him to keep the scheduled appointment at my home due to very little rain condition which had stopped prior to the appointment time. The meeting went ok even though Bob did not go onto the roof to perform a quick assessment. At the end of our meeting I asked Bob to send me a scope of work proposal & price quote via email. After almost 2 weeks, Im still waiting for him to make contact with the information. Seems like Hendo is too busy to respond to their customers requests/needs. I will be looking elsewhere.
