Dropped off my grandfathers manual Wittnauer wrist watch that has not run in 40 years. Cleaned the movement, polished the case and replaced the crystal. Was ready for pick up by noon the next day. Very personable and explains what will be done clearly. Recommend highly.

Its a mixed bag. Sals okay, but not the best watch repair person Ive been to. He tends to send vintage watches out to other people and that can be good or bad. Ive had mixed experiences. He sounds knowledgable, but has been wrong about many things. Ive wasted too much money having him try over and over again... to never really fix an old watch.However, if you have watches after WWII, then I think hes okay. Watches before that time period are trickier to fix. So, its a mixed bag. Ive had way too many bad experiences with watches not working a day later, after he so called, fixed them. Also, does this guy not own an atomic clock? You walked out of there with the time set a few minutes too fast or slow.I do recommend him if your watch is a newer watch and not an early 20th century (or earlier) watch. Since most people have watches from 1950 on, then its okay. If its very vintage, you might be taking a chance that it wont ever really be fixed or sent out to other people through the mail and may never really be fixed.There are plenty of people in New Jersey and NYC, as well as respected companies you can mail your vintage watch to. Since most people arent into super old watches, then your luck will be much better and it shouldnt be a problem to get your watch fixed at Sals.

Googled a watch repair and battery replacement jewelry store and I was lucky enough to find this place. Welcoming atmosphere, great customer interaction with the jeweler and most of all professional service. I definitely will be coming back and referring friends and family.

Im always weary of who to trust with my timepieces. After having Marasa change the battery in two of my watches and clean a third I decided to have them service my Tag Heuer.For the past 16 years I have always sent it in to Tag for a battery or overhaul at a pretty penny.The work at Marasa is on par with what Id expect from Tag. Their prices and friendliness make them an excellent choice for any watch need.

Walked in Saturday 11:30am. Was greeted by Sal, got right to watches, checked one Tag Hauer, and 2nd, replaced glass on Movado. Waled out with confidence my 2 watches are working well.

Small little shop with extremely good customer care. The technician (Im guessing the owner) went to work on a watch that I brought in for repair. He fixed in 3 minutes flat and charged an extremely reasonable price. Very happy with this shop and will be sure to bring my other clunky watches in.
