I was connected with Mark Dari at Howard Hanna Rand Realty through the Home for Heroes Program. As a teacher and first time home buyer I did a lot of research trying to find the right program and realtor that could work with our needs.From the first time I spoke to Mark, I shared how we were looking anywhere within a certain distance from the city and from our jobs, which meant that we were considering other states near NY (this is normally not what realtors want to hear, especially if you are working with more than one realtor). But Mark was very understanding. I absolutely DO NOT recommend. Joanne Finochio and her husband are thieves. They went on my property without my consent, I have had to call the police on her multiple times. She had people on my property empty my house house without my consent. She is a terrible person to work with. She will go in and STEAL all your belongings, and the best part is when you call her to ask what’s going on she yells and hangs up the phone. AGAIN, DO NOT recommend working with her. I am in the middle of reporting her. PLEASE save yourself the headache and DO NOT USE.

My mother is elderly, and going through a foreclosure. The bank hired Joanne Finochio to handle the property, every time my mother leaves to get groceries or would go for a walk she would come home and the doors would be locked. The poor woman would have to sit outside in the cold, and wait for the police to come and let her in. My mother is very elderly and doesn’t speak good English. Joanne continues to send people to the house WITHOUT a court ordered eviction notice (which is needed). I have had to call the cops on her a few times. Even after speaking to the foreclosure attorneys many times, and them even agreeing she herself and anyone she sends to the property should not step foot there until there is a court ordered eviction. Governor Cuomo stated no one is to be evicted from a foreclosure for 90 days due to the pandemic, and this woman CONSISTENTLY keeps sending people to the house and taking my mothers belongings and throwing them out. She is a bonafide racist towards anyone who is not white!
