I had an amazing experience getting my car fixed with NuCar! I dropped my car off on September 28th and picked it back up on October 15th. Looked like a brand new car! This was my first car accident so I was very weary about the whole process but NuCar made it a seamless process with me and with my insurance as well. I did not have to do much, it was just a waiting game and it was well worth the wait! I was signed up for text message reminders which was very helpful because they kept me updated along the way regarding the progress they had made. Highly recommend!
I will say Linda, Steve, and I think Jessica? were professional and courteous, kept me up to date on everything, and glass was cleaned up well, but somebody dropped the ball on specific instructions. Dont know if it was the insurance company or them, but they half attempted to resolve once I brought it to their attention, so it will be a trip back, unfortunately. I let them know ahead of time that I was picky, or particular about my baby, they told me the day it will be ready, but it was the following. Said they had to clean it as a courtesy but when I got there, they told me to bring it back and theyll clean another day?Recap:Well, 3rd visit, issues still unresolved. I would not use again. Now I know it was them, not the insurance company.

I had my car repaired here in May after an auto accident. The staff were very friendly and kept me updated and informed throughout the repair process. My car was even finished earlier than promised! Three months later I am still very happy with the work performed by Nucar.
Friendly quick and great job
My truck was picked up on Monday at noon and returned Friday of the same week. The amount of work done was not insignificant. Nucar gave me regular updates, their work was top notch and their shop manager Jay Tuno was everything a concerned client could hope for in terms of courtesy and professionalism. From estimate, to drop off to finish my experience with all aspects of my job was excellent. I was handled respectfully, professionally, and pleasantly. They made me aware of the process from start until finished. I am extremely pleased with the work performed on my vehicle. It is BETTER THAN THE DAY I BOUGHT IT NEW. The fit and finish is better than it came new. The only thing I ever complained about since new was the front end fit and finish so now I cant complain. Awesome job, Kudos

After having my vehicle Repair The check engine light was still on I did bring it back to Jay He had a technician check it out After a Hour Jay said to schedule a Day To Bring it Back After few months due to working 2 jobs and covid I did bring it back to Jay He did bring it back again To the technician After a 15 minute Jay Said It has nothing to do with the accident ?? I did asked him why did you have me schedule A-day For Repairs ??? He kept saying I DO NOT KNOW YOU ?? Haha I was Wearing my Protective mask He would NOT Even look up my Account.This is How he deals with customers. We did Buy two vehicle from the Dealership PLEASE RESPOND

After dealing with a nightmare that is insurance, I spoke with Jessica Parker via text message from Nucar. She was professional and kind and made it easy to understand exactly what was needed. I told her that I would not be dropping off the car, but my husband would be. She said not a problem, I do not need to be in the shop for the estimate. My husband dropped off the car and was immediately met with push back. He was told that there was no appointment for my car, even though I had everything set up the night prior with Jessica. My husband spoke with someone named Linda, who was rude to him and then later to me during two separate phone calls where I explained what was meant to be done and when I wanted to schedule an appointment. I hope that my repair process goes smoother than this, but so far, I am not impressed.
My girlfriend just had her civic fixed there after being rammed off the road by some road raging redneck. Nucar came highly recommended from a friend so we had the car towed the 90 minutes up there from Lewes. Dave was the technician that fixed the car and he did an amazing job and everything came out perfect. Jay (who is Dave’s boss) kept us updated the whole time and even went out of his way to have some older damage on the other side of the vehicle fixed for us. Taking your car anywhere else would be a mistake. Insurance might be covering the bill, but you still don’t want to drive home with a car that isn’t put together the right way.

My experience with Nu Car Collision was absolutely FANTASTIC. Everyone there was so VERY HELPFUL. Gordon Edwards kept me updated by text basically every other day for the entire time they had my vehicle. Linda the receptionist was so friendly and helpful also. Basically everyone there was exceptionally wonderful.

Recently used the Nucar Auto Collision center to repair my side mirror and rippled front quarter panel when I was driven off the road in my Camaro. They did a fabulous job start to finish. Christina and team kept me abreast of where we stood with repairs and were spot on when telling me what type of turn around time I was looking at. The best was....it was finished when promised, was clean and looked brand new. Cant ask for more:) I highly recommend the team there.
The first time I went here I was told it would be 5 business days and it ended up being 2 weeks. My insurance recommended me to go there again so I did. I got my car back in decent time but my key would not fit in my key hole after them replacing parts in my door. I had a handy boyfriend to fix it but 2 months later he is doing my oil change and noticed they never hooked up my hood latch. So now my car has no oil in it and no way to get oil in it because I cant open my hood. Pretty pathetic. My hood latch still doesnt work so youll be hearing from me again.

It was my first time getting service done at Nucar Auto Collision. I was referred by a friend to go to Nucar, because apparently this is the only place that cares OEM jeep parts in DE. They had my car for 8 days and during this time they kept me posted with the work process that my jeep was going through. When I went to pick it up I was surprised that my car wasnt only clean outside but inside as well. I am a very meticulous person and small details makes a huge difference when it comes to service. I am content with the work that was done and also with customer service. I totally recommend this place! Thank you!

Nucar replaced my passenger side powered fold-in mirror. However, after having my SUV for more than 4 weeks....no one bothered to test the new mirror to see if it worked BEFORE returning the vehicle to me.. Guess what..., the mirror didnt work! What kind of auto body shop doesnt test moving parts BEFORE returning vehicles to customers??? Maybe the technicians didnt release the mirror was a powered fold-in.

I had my vehicle done at new car and before new car was there 4 times this last time was no different than the rest. I have always had the best experience I dont understand why all the bad reviews they have gone above and beyond to fix my car even little extras that they didnt pay for. I really cant say enough about him and Im so sorry for those that find That they are not getting their money worth
Had quote for accident damage repairs on my Van, but did not fix it. But good experience. Good service and prompt responses from the staff.
They ordered all new parts for my bumper and since i was there months before the work was started to get estimate done they already order the parts so once they saw the additional damage it only took them a few extra days to order what was needed. My wait was average to any auto body shop. They staff was friendly and since i am not so trusting that i would have my car serviced with anything of value in my vehicle at any repair shop for any reason they where very friendly, high spirited and returned my car with an all new bumper my only issuse is that the trunk is in need of some additional repairs because its alittle uneven. I will post up a response once they are informed of the issue and have a chance to repair it.

Recently experienced issues with my 2010 Jeep Liberty. The lugs were loosened by someone and it ended up causing major damage to my drivers side rear abs sensor and 4x4. as well as a list of other issues. Alot of places I asked wanted almost $1,500 and i thought it was vandalism and went thru my insurance since Ive only had the vehicle for 1 month. the price was way lower than most places and the service was excellent to say the least. very friendly staff. Ive been here a few times but nothing this major. I cant thank them enough.
Came in $200 under the estimate and cleaned and detailed my car in addition to the repairs. This place is a no brainer.
This company is not the same since they have went from Auto Collision to NuCar Auto Collission. Beware they do not honor their warranties, they find a reason to put it back on you so you have to put in another claim. I started using this company in the early 90’s but will no longer utilize their services. This is the first time i needed to use the warranty and they want to say the car was in an accident since the front bumper they fixed popped out on the right side. My car has not been involved in any accidents and accidents! I believe they just don’t want to honor their warranty. Time to find a new shop that is more reputable.How about the adjuster from NuCar Auto collision was going to quote me a price for work that didn’t even need to be done. Funny how the dealership can help you more than the collision shop and not LIE and rip you off.at least the dealer took the time to look at the car vs NCA just assuming and ready to write a quote for something that was under warranty. Who ever the new owner is sucks cause he doesn’t even take the initiative to reach the complaints about his business. Please avoid this company at all cost.

Im warning you now, DO NOT use this repair facility. Avoid this place at all cost. Dont listen to State Farm or any other insurance company telling you to send your car here. Not only did they do an incomplete repair job on my vehicle, but it took them 2 months to do the repairs that they did complete. There were screws missing where they were supposed to be. The lights on my bumper dont work. They didnt replace my windshield Etc... Im filing a complaint with BBB. You have been warned.I will update this post once i see how the incomplete work is handled.
