The maintenance representative was very pleasant and professional. He worked on my issue very quickly and provided an explanation as well.

Since I have lived in William Penn, they have been really great! The staff has been amazing. They are very helpful when it comes to you needing help with rent, if you run into financial issues. I have no issues with the apartment, its really nice and big! Neighborhood is nice on my side, neighbors are friendly. It’s been really great living here.

Resigned our lease because we love living here. The resident engagement and monthly food trucks are my favorite! I think it’s pretty neat how they are able to get them to participate. Wonderful office staff, on time maintenance help (except when I had a wasp in my bedroom😂wasn’t much they could do and it’s about to be that season again😢). Quiet, and FOR THE MOST, everyone minds their business😌

My family and I have been here a year now and still love it, we even have fault that wants to move here because of how beautiful the area is. The ladies in the leasing office always help us and make us feel reassured when anything comes up.

So I have lived here at William Penn Village Apartments going on nine years. I moved here to Newcastle Delaware coming from Brooklyn NY. I loved the area n checked out the Apartments n the Amenities . Pool. Gym indoor n outdoor, Dog park, etc. I moved in n loved it . The management n maintenance are very accommodating to the residents. Anytime I had any issues with the Apt. Maintenance will come right away. They keep the Grounds very clean. They also do alot for the residents for Holidays. Its a really nice community. They have twenty four hour security. So I feel safe even if I have to walk the dog late. Theres no loitering n hanging out infront of the buildings. They have lots of areas for the residents to go n relax n mingle with one another. They just built a mini Golf ⛳ court n along side of that theres two BBQs n a picnic tables . I really feel very comfortable here. I recommend you check out William Penn village apartments. Weve lived here a little over 3 years and the community has come a long way. After a bumpy start, the community has really upped their maintenance game and their customer service has always been wonderful.

I Love Living Here, It’s Beyond Beautiful So Many Activities To Join In Such As The Gym, The Pool Area, The Dog Park, Children’s Play Ground, The Grilling Area Not To Mention The Area I’m Located In. I Feel Safe Here, They Have Cameras To Insure Our Safety Outdoor And Inside Our Buildings. Maintenance Is Always There Quick When You Need Them And They Do An Excellent Job. They Strive To Make Our Living Here A Great Stay And I Truly Appreciate All The Staff !! I Love My Home.

Studio ApartmentThe staff is absolutely amazing and the community even more so. The bills are affordable, the options outweigh the price, and in this day and age, thats a god send. For a first apartment, I cant ask for anything more.

I am satisfied with the living conditions and response here at William Penn Apartments. I say 4/5 because I did have occasions and problems to report but resolution of the work order and response time was very good.

It’s an awesome neighborhood, and very close to shopping (food, clothes, etc.) it’s quite which is hard to get and apartment communities! Normal annoying things like they don’t answer the phone all the time or they need more dog waste stands but pool and gym are included in rent which is awesome and we have in-home washer dryer!!! Very safe with being surrounded by schools and businesses!!

This place doesnt deserve any stars! I have been having an issue with mice for a year and the office personnel just tell lies of how they will take care of the issue! The NCC code enforcement was called on them and they claim the holes was sealed in the apartment and I ended up finding more mice in the apartment a few days after the seal. These apartments are infested with mice and the apartments needs to be shut down for good! I had to get my kids and myself to safety from the mice! Horrible service! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone! They put on a show like they care about their tenants! Dont believe the hype! Worst place I ever lived!

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The location is convenient. The apartments are a nice size. it would be nice if the second bedroom was bigger. I also like the fact that it is per-friendly.

I been here since February and I’m so happy with my place. It way better then where I was. I’m very happy and pleased with everything. The ladies at the office are so helpful. And they check on me even when I stop in the office. They ask is everything going good and I’m please. Yes I’m very very happy. And I just want to thank them so much. God is good. My old place makes this look like the Buckingham Palace. No bugs (weekly exterminations are offered if needed), no mice (that Ive seen evidence of but I also have two cats - my mom who also lives in this complex has had a few mice but they were swiftly taken care of), prompt maintenance so far on some issues. I am noticing it takes longer on some things than others as though there is a level of importance like with hospitals and emergencies which I cannot blame them. Courteous maintenance staff. The only issues Ive had were with some Fair Housing Stuff that coincides with the Americans With Disabilities Act but it was somewhat easily resolved even if it was very time consuming - had to get a few doctors notes. Those issues came from the head apartment manager and corporate - I only deal with Lindsay Morales due to some of it. Shes not the head but shes great and does most of the leasing. Shes polite, down to earth, and wonderful, and even spent one of her breaks talking to me about my truck and learning stick. When I stopped by to also talk to her about a faulty mail box key/lock, she immediately asked how I was recovering from my recent surgery when she greeted me. Two thumbs up for Lindsay Morales and her professionalism/concern/compassion/professional friendships for and with the residents of William Penn Village. Two thumbs up for the improvements theyve made with the neighborhood, complex, and area too!

I have been living in this apartment for about a year now and have to say I’ve had a very pleasant experience. In the beginning when I moved in, things were a little rocky because of the poor hygiene from the previous tenants and neighbors. The problems were sorted out very quickly and with professionalism. The ladies in the leasing office have all been very kind and extremely helpful in resolving any issues that I had. In addition, all the maintenance staff I’ve had to deal with have been extremely polite, down to earth, and helpful. I feel I have been treated with extreme care and importance during my stay. The only complaint I have is with the time it can take to resolve a minor issue such as replacing a light bulb. While I do understand issues being placed in order of importance, some fixes might take less than 5 minutes and should be taken care of in the absence of other emergencies. Other than that, I recommend this place to anyone as the apartments are cheap and spacious in comparison to competitors, there is plenty of free parking, and the staff is all very professional and caring.

I love my apartment, repairs can be a little more faster. I e enjoyed my living area, the neighbors are quiet and friendly. Overall its been a great experience.

Affordable homes where I can have my furry friends with me and be thanked a while month out of the year for being a resident, pretty nice if you ask me.

Me and my fiance moved in here 10 months ago and it has been a horrible experience we moved in July 15 2018 and from day one we had had this bad smell in our apartment contacted this office over and over again an the problem is still not fix and their suggestion is that we can move to another apartment but all the cost of moving is on us when we put out thousands to move in very dissatisfied with the way they treat people who pay their rent on time every month never missed a payment we are not moving out because we cant afford to so going to go through every resource we have to make them do whats right because we dont deserve to live in a apartment that smells bad day after day and they are not trying to solve the issue #FEDUP#NOT TAKING IT ANYMORE. The model they showed us was waaayyy better then the actual unit we lived in and we had the upgraded. While we lived there I developed a rash and asthma from the apartment not havin proper air filtration. Winter was the worst, only the master bedroom 1980’s heater worked and so it was freezing and had to get space heaters. One of the office lady’s was super crazy. She had a friend living there and would sit outside smoking cigarettes and being nosy, super unprofessional. We had dirty neighbors that had a fruit fly infestation which traveled to our apartment and it was dreadful, we had to take care it ourselves. The ant problems we had to take care of ourselves, and the centipedes was nonstop. These apartments aren’t worth the 1280$.

If there is a zero star i would have given that. The facilities they mention at the time of signing agreement are fake. We moved to this apts on 28th April and the house was full of bugs and the people in the office are very irresponsible and make fun of the tenants. The manager was too rude. The worst experience I had ever faced. Also you dont get back your advance back if you give complaints about your problems.

So happy my lease is almost up! The property manager is who makes it bad. She is rude, has no empathy, and is not flexible about anything! On top of that, they hound you via email, text, and phone about paying your rent on the first. Yet, they cant even keep hot water on in the building. Its not a one time thing its a constant reoccurrence. Not worth the amount they charge for these places, go down the st.

Williampenn village apts new castle( bugs apartments) the apts are full of bugs and the smells bad. The people in the office are very bad.

Wouldnt even consider me because I have a pitbull mix. My dog is the sweetest, most loving dog in the world even when interacting with strangers. According to DE HB13 its illegal for cities and counties to discriminate against breeds, and even though this doesnt prevent private managers from discriminating you would think properties would wise up and get rid of this archaic, discriminatory policy. They wouldnt even consider letting me bring her in to meet them.

Have called and left messages on Monday 4th after dealing with woman in office but no response . oh well things happen for a reason .

I called the call center to set up an appointment. I told them I had 2 dogs. They asked me what brees. Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Blue Heeler mix and an American Bulldog. I got to my appointment and I told rhe girl I had 2 dogs. She asked what kind and I told her. She showed a picture of the Bull dog to her manager and she said because he is in the bull dog family they wouldnt allow him. There restriction is for Pit Bulls not all dogs in the family. I have seen people with pit bulls and other dogs that are restricted come out of the apartments. How do they allow some people to have and tell others they cant. Will not go back there again unless absolutely necessary.

Months ago in 2014, the complex did away with peep holes, the only security. Well, fast-forward to February 2015, there was a homicide due to a home invasion. It is possible that could have been prevented if the complex didnt take away the peep holes.Their maintenance people are lazy and the individuals that work in the leasing office are just as shiftless if not more so. When the best leasing agent quits working there due to associates incompetence, then you know theres an issue.Currently trapped in the apartment complex since no one de-iced anything. Even tried to shoveled and salt my way out, unfortunately there are inches of layers of ice and the ice isnt cracking. There was snow that turned into sleet yesterday morning. Maintenance workers were out salting the walkway... They must have salted only that one time.

We have been living here for 3 years. I cant wait to move out of here. We have seen shootings, drug activity, mold, bugs, mice and even a squirrel in our apartment. You definitely get what you pay for here.

I have lived here almost 2 years, never had an issues til I had a ceiling leak in my master bedroom. The hell I went thru with them for a whole month. First it was ceiling, then the mice, mildew smell from leak, becoming sick from the smell and was treated like a nobody for all the money you pay to live somewhere you call home. My lease is finally coming up to end and Im leaving with the quickness. I cant stand to be treated like I dont matter. The office is a joke. I followed all procedures to cover myself when I refused to pay my rent and glad the judge seen it. My health was affected due to their negligence but I will not rent off of morgan-properties ever again, not any of their properties. I have learned a lesson of not trusting people who dont live up to their end. I would not give any recommendations.

They are doing better becuase i live here and i know how it is and its good i can tell that they are trying their very best to see whats going on and fix it.with the money they have they are trying their very best to make people want to live here and want to stay here and keep living here

Homes are full of bugs and management is rude and careless after you are locked with the agreement . It’s not at all a American way of Service. Never dare to prefer this.

My son went to see the apartment he was going to rent, the ceiling In the dining room was leaking, the rug was stained, and the air conditioner in the master was broke & the paint was peeling underneath it. Even worse we called to decline the apartment and Ms. Leslie Griffin hung up in my ear. Very unprofessional!!

Bad place

Hate living here! infested with bugs, people do not control their dogs, they laid my carpet down in my unit and it was a terrible job, in the winter my heat barely works, the hallways are dirty, the laundry room is dirty (There is visible dirty on the washer rand dryers).....It has been a terrible experience. The rent is not worth it. Do not move here!
