Ordering the parts online was easy. There were diagrams and videos to help determine the correct part. I picked the parts up at the Service Center. The customer service representative was straightforward and efficient. The transaction took less than 10 minutes. There are no instructions included in the parts box. I referred to the website to help with the install. I am satisfied.

Extremely rude and unprofessional customer service - including the supervisor for the store. We had ordered a part online for it to be picked up in the New Brunswick store, however when we went to pick up the part at the store, we were informed that the part was sent to Garden City, NY. When we requested more information around how that happened we were rudely informed by the store supervisor that it was not her problem and that if we wanted to pick up the item we could or there was nothing further that she could do about the order. We even tried to call the online support to understand where the confusion happened and we still dont have any response from the store or the online help center. This has probably been the worst online and in-store buying experience we have had. Unfortunately there is no way to give lower than one star.

Its too bad. They put a wrong parts in the box. When I went to 51 US-1 and request to change the parts to correct parts, she said that that is a correct part and refuse to change the parts for me, so I have to return it. I spoke to her later she told me that she find the correct parts, but I have to pay $7.71 more to get the same part, since my previous parts order with 10% discount.

Part received did not match the picture provided on the website, nor did the part number on the item match the number I ordered. National customer service center was less than helpful (its really the International service center) and then clerk at the store where I picked up the item was argumentative and did not want to be the least bit helpful, but only wanted to repeat that it wasnt her fault. It was clear that the wrong piece was packed in the box (stuff happens), I just wanted the piece I ordered. Being totally frustrated with the complete lack of customer service, I finally just canceled the order and found the correct part on an OEM website. No wonder a formerly great company is going out of business!

I purchased a light bulb socket for my garage door opener and a water filter for the fridge, Sears online wouldnt let me also add the air filter for the fridge to my order for pickup in New Brunswick. They wanted me to pickup the air filter in Middletown. The sales associate at the parts pickup counter was able to add the air filter to my order and make this a one stop shopping experience.

Sears in New Brunswick is a descent sears. It has the mower repair shop which is a plus. Lets see how much longer they last since calling bankruptcy 2 days ago...
