DO NOT EVER use Roger. I called and set up an appointment for August 28, 2021. The problem was a water leak from my washing machine. Roger tried to diagnose the problem and said there was no leak even when I showed him the water. On the receipt he wrote that if it leaks again he would come out and not charge a service fee. On the morning of August 29,2021, the following morning, I did a wash and there was the leak in the place I had pointed out the day before. I called Roger on August 29, 2021 and he returned my call on August 30, 2021. An appointment was made for Wednesday Sept 1,2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00. Roger DID NOT show. At 2:00 PM I called Roger. I have NOT heard from him yet!!!!! No phone call No apology. I suspect he is NOT able to diagnose and repair appliances. Save your money and use someone else. I can’t post this message without giving a star rating. He deserves zero stars!!!!!

As a Property Manager, I expect the same work ethic from hired contractors and vendors that I provide to them.Roger came out to assess repairs as needed. Havent heard from him since. I keep calling and leaving messages and no call backs. The services needed are for my tenants. Not only does NB Appliance look bad for poor communication but it makes us landlords look bad as well.Searching for a new Appliance Repair guy ASAP

I just have to say that I have been working with NEW Britain Appliances for over 6 years- first time (2013) I reached out to them on a whim and the day I contacted Roger for a Washer ( I was at work so item unseen) I emailed him in the morning and by 2pm I had a new washer delivered and the old one hauled away.A few years later a dryer(2015) that I had (not from New Britain Appliances) finally died-I emailed Roger again- and of course same deal- he was there before the end of day to deliver a dryer.Now that brings us to Now 2021- May 21- I emailed Roger after 9pm, because my dryer and washer stopped spinning -I did not expect a response until about Monday as the website stated they were closed on weekends, which was cool, so my sister is online looking at washer and dryers and then- low and behold about 15 mins later who emails me back- yup Roger. I was excited for that email, we communicated for a few- (in my mind I thought I needed to buy a whole new set which I was prepared for) Well, Roger told me that it would be best to repair them than to purchase- then he said he will be here tomorrow(May 22,2021) to fix them, I was amazed because I thought they were closed but he said he would be and he was, He fixed both Washer and Dryer-I just have to say that Roger is very responsive when it comes to his business- and he truly cares about the units and his customers.NEW BRITAIN APPLIANCES has a life long customer with me!!!Thank you Again Roger!!! You Da Best!!!

I grew up with the owner so I reached out because I had appliances that my tenants left behind that needed some tlc and I needed to replace them. I spoke with him he said send pictures so I did. Never heard from him again so I left a voicemail explaining that if he wasnt interested no problem at least let me know, I was still planning on seeing him to buy some appliances. No response at all. I have to admit I expected a little more professionalism from someone Ive known since childhood. Oh well I guess he did me a favor god forbid I did buy something from him and had a problem with it the guy would just ignore me. I would like to add that I spoke to him personally he even acknowledged that he knew it was me. What front office are you referring to in your reply. I only spoke to you.

Roger was very responsive to a refrigerator call that I had. Went out to quickly analyze the issue and came back with the part the next day to repair it. Made my tenants happy. Thank you Roger

Roger is a liar and unprofessional. He ignore phone calls and text messages. He will lie to your face about warranty and empty promises. You should think twice before doing business here! Anyone who gave him a good review must know him. From Rogers poor business skills I had another repair shop Come out. They were very nice and friendly the store name is Sandys in Wolcott Ct. You are better off calling them. If you do business here with Roger you will regret it!

I had a great experience with Roger and his staff. I don’t care what some of these reviews say. Some people are just never satisfied and look to get free stuff for service way too far out after sale. I have bought several appliances from him over the years, and he’s always been there if anything has going wrong...WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME PERIOD!! I understand the appliances are used, but he does sell good used appliances and I will continue to use his company. Thank you for many years of service Roger!

Fantastic service and affordable prices. I am so happy to have found New Britain Appliance. I bought a washer and dryer for my business, and was able to easily find good quality models in my price range. Their 90 day warranty gave me the piece of mind I needed when buying a used washer and dryer. When I overloaded the washer yesterday with too many blankets, causing it to break, they sent a repair person immediately and fixed it on the spot. Highly recommend!

Called and Roger was kind enough to come out and look at my fridge the Friday of Memorial weekend in Glastonbury. The service charge was reasonable and Roger was a stand up guy. He could have charged us and tried something that ultimately wouldnt have worked, but he didnt. I find that refreshing. Honestly goes a long way. I will call New Britain Appliance if I need another repair. Unfortunately, the fridge is toast. Thanks for coming out Roger. It was a pleasure doing business with you.

I would not recommend New Britain Appliance. I had a washer that needed repair and called to schedule an appointment. i was told the technician would call when he was he was on his way. No one showed up, no one called . i contacted Roger, the owner,, he said they got busy and rescheduled. They came out and made a repair, but it did not fix the problem. I called twice and was told someone would get back to me. No one did. Third call I left a message for Roger, who did not call me either. They had my money, why bother?

Roger and Steve are the best! Called them at 845 am for a washer, and it was delivered and installed by 1030 same day! I cant say they do this every day because they were already headed my way, but I am completely impressed by the quality of the washer, and the service. I had a choice to either repair my (expensive) front loader or buy another machine, and all I can tell you is I am one happy customer! Highly recommend them.

Was sold a washer that works when it wants, and was damaged during delivery/set up. Was sold a dryer that broke down about a month or two in. Have been getting put of by roger for months after he mickey moused my dryer to temporarily hold heat while my piece was ordered, I have been getting ignored and stood up since. The same happened to my sister, but her washer completely broke. It hasnt even been 6 months, let alone a year.

Great place to find a deal on new or used with the tariffs the prices are 80 plus each appliance so more people are buying used and this is best place to get what you need oh and lets not forget about the owner roger he also repairs them and dose house calls unlike many other used dealers this company stands behind what they sell

I never leave negative reviews.I do always try to work things out.This is my first one.Dealing with New Britain Appliance is by far my worst experience ever!They are very dishonest people.They dont stand behind their product or service.They sell faulty products.Stay away from them.There is many companies in New Britain who respect their customers.Choose someone else........now you are saying that you dont remember me ......what a surprise.....how come I clearly remember you...... you can fool people only for so long.....eventually you simply going to reap what you sow......
