The 2 Granzins Markets are my absolute favorite place for meats.The best meat counter in America.The quality difference from the big box bothers is very noticeable, at competitive or better prices.When folks drive by on I-35 they dont realize what a gem they are missing. Fresh Meat Matters.

They were busy at the meat counter, but they had enough employees to take care of everyone. Service was quick and excellent. When I checked out was just as quick and excellent. Will be back soon the quality of meat is very good.

It was a great experience today! The service was fast and friendly, and I got everything I needed. Revised My husband went for veal shanks and the butcher volunteered to vacuum seal the meat. Wow! Thanks for the great customer service!!!

This place is just flat-out great. Has been for years. We got some bacon and some ground beef. The bacon is by far the best I have ever had and the hamburger shined in both a meatloaf and then in burgers on the grill. Cannot wait to try other products - my mother in law says their tenderized beef cutlets make incredible chicken fried steak. Years ago, a guy I know used to get all kinds of jerky and dry sausage when he was passing through on his way back from South Texas and it was always really great. Fun place to stop and a ton of variety/products to choose from.

Great meats here. Also freshly made sandwiches. We (Kathy & Cody) always make a stop here before heading back to Sugar Land.

Granzins never disappoints! Every time I go there, I get just what I want. The butchers really know their stuff and cuts. While they have wonderful chicken, pork, and some seafood, I go there for beef. If you want a special cut, theyre happy to make it just how you want it. Always friendly, always helpful, I always recommend Granzins Meat Market!

Dare I say it? Meat and produce better than H-E-B? I think so. Great service and reasonable prices. My go to when I’m stocking up. The “kits” should be considered when looking to fill your freezer. Everything will be wrapped in butcher paper. Great meat market!

Great Service !! The store was crowded but they had plenty of staff to serve you quickly. Large selection of fresh meats. Dry Ring, chorizo and summer sausage were amazing. They also have a small selection of produce and other grocery items. Certainly recommend a visit

Had a steer processed. Asked to be hung 14 days, called 7 days later and said was ready. Asked the fajitas to be tenderized, they were not. Asked if could stack the meat flat so easier to stake in the freezer, it wasn’t. If you want things done right and with some pride take your processing to Castroville or Poth.

I make smash burgers and Id been hunting for a butcher that would provide me with ground short ribs and brisket as they pair great with ground chuck for burgers. A friend gifted me a gift card to Granzins for the aforementioned meat, but after 9 separate trips they just seem to refuse to help me. I ask and I ask about grinding up short ribs or brisket for me, and they just WILL NOT do it. If I call and ask, then the answer is sure! but when I show up its always one excuse or another. The place has decent meat, but it does no good if no one will help me with my needs. Time to find a better market.

Great price per pound (on the meat), truly great products. The spice blends they use are head and shoulders above the rest. The quality is there, the produce was marked higher but if you are just going for your proteins you will be fine. Be mindful of the parking, it gets tight. Happy shopping.

Granzins MM is my go to now for all of my meat products. In addition, it is the only place I go for dog bones. Having a Golden Retriever who loves treats and a Rottweiler/Bull mastiff cross that could will devour a whole baseball, I know that the best way to serve a bone is smoked...never boiled, grilled, or cooked in the oven. Pur pups love the bones and we love the quality meat selection and prices. And the best part is that everyone is always friendly and willing to help. Ive gone to them for 3 years now and never one bad experience.

I’ve had notice a huge this difference this morning when I woke up I usually wake up with a upset stomach and today I didn’t had no upset stomach for the first time ina long time. I went yesterday to get some meat and I cooked it yesterday and omg the chicken I made a chicken noodle soup the meat was so flavorful clean smell good before even seasoned it it sure is a huge difference best meat ever I had I am buyying my meat here for now on better than H‑E‑B especially Walmart!

This a great meat market and you can get your order as you like it...for example a strip of fajitas weighing 2 pounds you can get cut at 1 pound. Its a small building but there are a lot employees behind the meat counter to help you. This place has been around for awhile they can even process your deer harvest

The kid behind the counter labeled spare ribs as butterflied pork chop and my tri-tip as cheese... didnt realize til I got home but at least I didnt buy too much of it.. just be sure to check your labels! The kid was probably a little green so Ill give them benefit of the doubt this time....

Been shopping at Granzins for years. This last year theyve taken a nosedive. The meat is consistently subpar and at times inedible. Such a shame. On the bright side I wont be driving 50 miles for quality meat. I can simply drive down the road and find better at the local grocer.

The staff are very helpful and quick to take your order. Prices are reasonable and they have great freezer packs. I shop there once every 2 months to stock my freezer and my bill is less than $400.00. Their cuts of meet are tender and juicy. I would so recommend it!

I have been a loyal customer of Granzins for years and always enjoyed the quality of the meat, however the last time I went and the quality was not what it had been. I usually buy two or three packages to last awhile and the boxes would be full of high quality meat, this time I couldnt read what the worker wrote on the meat. When I opened the chuck steak it was all fat I had just enough to make a couple of servings out of two large steaks. The prices are a lot more than it once was and I understand why and I wouldnt mind as long as the quality remained. But I felt cheated this time and wont be coming back.

Amazing as I remember

The day before 4th of July, so we expected a mad house. Far from it! This market is clean, well staffed, and the prices are fantastic! This is the best looking beef I have seen in Texas. They have a huge selection of spices, ribs and marinades. They also sell freezer packs where you can call up and they will have your order ready and load it in your car. Everything is wrapped and ready for the freezer.

Came all way from KERRVILLE for all the good meats and seasonings. This trip I bought some candied jelopeneos . and macaroni salad. With top sirloin. And some pecan honey butter spread. YUMMO 😋

We go here every year to stock up on our meats. Clean, professional and always nice helpful workers.

Excellent quality and choices of meat. This was my first visit to the meat market and was impressed. Staff was very helpful and courteous despite of being very busy. I have been eating at their restaurant for over thirty years. Bought meat today and stopped by the restaurant for coleslaw. My family was thrilled at dinner for having chicken, sausage, beans and coleslaw.
