Have used Landmark Credit Union for roughly 20 years now, and have never had any issues. Very friendly staff, always a way to get things done. No complaints here. Thanks!!
God awful customer service. Waited on the phone for 30 minutes to get zer0 help. If you want better service try a big bank compared to this trash.
Thank called customer service for Landmark Credit. I had a dispute about a service I received at a hair salon. I sent evidence over to the dispute team. Pics, text message and screen shots. They refunded my deposit and 1 month later they refunded back to the merchant. I can’t understand why they always believe the merchant.
I applied for my first mortgage here because of my past great experiences with them, but being turned down wasnt the problem, it is that every mortgage officer was rude, disparaging, and difficult to work with. Seems that not only do you need a great credit score and report to get approved, but also for them to be upbeat, kind and respectful. A score that is only 9 points below where it needs to be, and items on my report because of the pandemic is no way to treat someone when I wasnt that way to any of the staff first. Just like all businesses now, I wouldnt be surprised nothing is done to make it right. I would give minus 5 stars if possible.
ZERO STARS! DONT EVER GET A LOAN WITH THEM. WORST EXPIERENCE EVER. I have a loan with them 2 months now and i still have not been able to register my bike in IL because they dont give a damn about getting me correct information.
The wait was long on the phone but the gentleman that helped me was very helpful and polite.
My experience with this credit union has been TERRIBLE. LONG telephone waits and I was hung up on, too.I bank with another credit union, and also have banking experience in Europe and Asia. This credit union has poorly trained customer service and very long waiting times. I urge Wisconsinites to switch to another credit union, where you will be treated with respect. After all, there are others in our state!
Landmark Credit union’s customer service has really gotten bad in the past several years. I’ve been a customer for over thirty years, when Landmark was City First Credit union. It used to be an enjoyable banking experience but now that’s gone. Now all you get is long lines, long waits on the phone, and no answers. I understand there is a pandemic, but many other financial institutions have adapted. Maybe Jay should come down from the top floor in his newly built, Brookfield, cooperate headquarters and take a look at improving their branch locations, service, and efficiency.
Ive been a customer for 30 years and use to recommend Landmark to everyone. NOT ANYMORE. Your customer service is terrible. Get on the wagon and hire more people to help you get through this pandemic. I just waited 45 min for a customer service representative and when I did get through we were disconnected and she didnt bother to call back.My son has been waiting 2 months for the home loan officer to get them a pre-approval letter. He never returns their calls. They have missed out on several houses as a results of this.I told my son to go to another bank and consider closing his accounts withLandndmark. You better wake up Landmark or your memberships are going to start to bail.
Thiefs that is all I can say next car LOAN I will never get it from LCU customer service is ZERO.They responded and gave a phone number to call I called and they have no IDEA about what I was talking about again they are THIEFS.
They are crooks. I left $25 in a savings account then moved out of state. Turns out they’ve been draining it for fees and .... it’s gone. Just got my first notice from them as they took the last 23 cents. They couldn’t even mail the notice to my new house even though it’s on postal service record. Pathetic.
I really wish I could give no stars. This is the worst credit union ever. I tried calling twice, was on hold for at least an hour both times. The customer service is horrible once you do get through to someone too. I was hung up on by an employee and was only treated horribly. Take your money elsewhere!
Came here for an auto refinance, and the process was seamless. Set up auto pay and forgot about until the car was paid off. No issues. Customer service was good. The loan was low interest. The Online banking was so-so. Need to work on the online banking system and Banking application to get the 5th star.
Horrible phone merry-go-round. This is a really poor way to treat clients with needs and questions. This is a option laden country, and in the world of options, I would choose to do business elsewhere. Just my 2 cents.
22 minutes waiting in the drive thru to make a car payment. 4 lanes all full. Not quite sure what takes so long. Doesn’t matter the day or the time of day. This is the only bank that has this issue. I definitely will not continue banking here when the car is paid off.
Landmark has been unable to provide necessary paperwork for a vehicle registration, at one point taking 10 days to locate a file. I would advise steering clear of Landmark for any vehicle loan.Edit: Turns out Landmark did not order a title for the vehicle purchased on June 6th until July 10th.
My sons insurance lapsed and they want to charge him $1400 dollars for one months insurance. When he called and spoke to Nicole Davies to straighten things out he was referred to the insurance company that Landmark uses knowing full well they have nothing to do with this.I am drawing up a tort letter today as this issue could not be resolved in good faith either by email or telephonic-ally. If your thinking about doing business with this company I implore you to reconsider. I would have given a no star review but you must give at least one star to post.
Financed a vehicle through them. I went to get full coverage insurance, even though all the paperwork was submitted they don.t acknowledged it and started proceeding to force insurance onto my loan. I made multiple phone calls trying to discuss. Even had my insurance broker contact them. Even know they wont admit there wrong.I do not recommend Landmark as they seem to try and create ways to add on more charges in an attempt to bring in more money for there Credit union. If Landmark is willing to contact me and discuss a resolution I can update this review.
45 minutes to talk to a representative...get real!! Hire more staff...as a valued customer I dont have 45 minutes to wait.
Would not recommend it was my error joining landmark but never again will I use in the future bad service, and high interest, even with a good credit score
I bank at Landmark, have no problems. Submitted my auto insurance to them at the same time as my paperwork for the loan, had no issues. My only complaint is that the ATM at the Moorland Road location is ALWAYS out of cash.Updating review to one star due to closed lobbies while other banks and credit unions are open, requiring you to sit in line for 30 minutes or more at a drive through
I had a dealer set up a small auto loan here just out of convenience. Since then dealing with Landmark has been anything but convenient. They do everything from open extra accounts with the loan to try and automatically place insurance on your vehicle with no correspondence in between. This has been as much work as my mortgage for a loan 1/30th the size. I’m not even sure why I have to corresponding with this specific branch when they have a Madison location.
Terrible place to do business with. Will play games, intentionally delay payment to get more money from you and lie. I closed my banking accounts and will never look back.
Failed to fully provide us with details regarding something we were trying to apply for. Was not satisfied how they handled the situation.👎👎
We love it here, everyone is so helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
Suggest everyone stay away from Landmark CU they used to be a great in the past few years they have turned into another mega bank business model with all their junk fees and lack of consideration for their members, not to mention how terrible and outdated their online services. Please take your business elsewhere where you are more valued as a member.
Mailed a check for my first car payment on May 15th. Wasnt due until June 4th. Never got cashed so I sent in another payment. That check was cashed right away. ONE MONTH LATER, June 15th, the first check clears my Credit Union. So now I made a double payment.Whats going on with the employees at Landmark?
Bad. Service would not use this bank
BUYER BEWARE. LOAN / INSURANCE PRACTICE by Landmark Credit Union.Let me start by saying I was wrong by not getting insurance immediately following the purchase of my 2004 Harley V-ROD.A week before 2018 Christmas we purchased a 2004 V-ROD from Action Power Sports in Wisconsin. We financed the motorcycle through Land Mark Credit Union. My husband and I loaded the bike on our trailer and brought it to our home in northern IL, unloaded it into our garage and there it has set ever since. Everyone knows how bad this winter was and until a week and a half ago we still had snow on the ground. This motorcycle never left our attached garage and still hasn’t even been licensed. My husband and I have always followed the laws of the land and had every intention of insuring the motorcycle but it went on the back burner with our busy work weeks.Towards the end of January, I receive a letter from Landmarks Credit Unions insurance company “Allied Insurance” stating that we needed full coverage insurance and if we didn’t get it that Allied Insurance would be forcing a charge of $990.00 onto our existing loan. Upon receiving this letter, I contacted my insurance company to begin getting quotes. By the time I had gotten back to my insurance company and found the right quote it was Mid-February.During this time, I called Allied Insurance 3 different times to update them and they stated that we were still ok and that there would be no charges added to our loan if we got the insurance within the timeline stated on the letters so I thought I had time. Remember this was still the middle of winter and with our busy work schedule I wasn’t in too big of a hurry…my fault! On March 11th I had full coverage on the motorcycle and all paperwork was submitted to Landmark Credit Union and their insurance company Allied Insurance. The representative I spoke to said everything was documented, no further action was needed, and we were good to go.Here’s the part I didn’t agree with, After all this was done….. On March 19th I received a letter from Allied Insurance stating that we owed them $272.00 from when the motorcycle was not covered from the date of purchase up until March 11th (2 1/2 months). I made multiple calls to Allied Insurance and also Landmark Credit Union discussing this. Everyone I talked to at both Landmark & Allied was surprised by this practice, they even spoke to their supervisors to get more clarification. I was told multiple times that there was nothing that could be done. In an effort to try and get even a little help from them I asked them if they could change the full coverage quoted amount of $272.00 to storage insurance since it was obviously still winter. The motorcycle wasn’t even licensed yet, they then all said too bad that this is our practice and would not even consider it. That they would be adding a forced charge of $272.00 on to our existing loan and there was nothing we could do about it except pay off the loan and go to another lender.Again I understand my mistake, but I also have decided that I do not recommend or ever want to do business with a place that can’t try to help their customers and in my opinion have found a legal but inhumane way to make more money for their business. If either Landmark Credit Union or Allied Insurance Co would like to discuss this any further Im more than happy to update this review.Lorrie & Bill Nesemeier
Service is not good. Most Landmarks are part of a network of credit unions around here that all share services, but not this one. Additionally, wouldnt do a money order or even offer me advice on where else I could go to get one in the area.
Been banking with LM since 2007 they still insist on placing holds on checks that I deposit every week from the same source yet never has there been an issue I believe they are taking advantage of the owners and while my funds are in hold status the bank is earning interest in whats known as the float period when my money is unavailable to me they have it invested and collect the interest for themselves not the depositorsTHEY SUCK !!!
Received countless letters (4 to 5) saying Im past due on my monthly car payment when I have proof I sent them the money, this is just plain horrible, attacking someone who just recently bought a new car and send this many letters saying past due is giving them stress beyond what they can control. Please stop or the business will go down before they know it.
Always had great experiences over the last 7+ years. I would recommend this bank to anyone.
Been banking with landmark since 2013 and love it. I needed to cash saving bonds and they were very helpful when other banks suggested calling the U.S. treasury. Yikes.
This location helped me with a mountain of paperwork from an estate I was settling. I found that it always worked better when I called ahead.
Im happy with my credit union
They really don’t care about their customers. They charge so many fees for stupid reasons and will allow problems to accumulate before notifying you that’s something is wrong. The app sucks and customer service is rude
Wow, what a crazy few ratings on here. Hopefully Landmark cleans this up and maybe gets some more reviews. Ive never had a problem with them, good service for everything I have had to deal with.
Left after 12 years here. Allowing customers to rack up 400$ in overdraft fees should be criminal. Especially when they have a balance of 20k in another account.
DO NOT GET AN AUTO LOAN FROM THEM
Dealing with COVID, this CU is very difficult to work with. Call time to wait has been exceeding long. I’ve been with them 17 years. My fiancé tried opening accounts and the process was very (and I mean very!) difficult getting an appointment to go inside the lobby. All in all, I’ll stay and write this off as a sign of the times.
Absolutely the best customer service hands down.
Very rude and had been hung up on.
5 stars for Diana Vs great customer service. Thank you Diana.
Always fair to me. Great place to bank.
I still havent figured out why it takes over 15 minutes to deposit daily funds in the drive through and there is not another customer in line.
20 minutes on hold to find out a payoff information and they still can not provide the info over the phone you have to fax a request. Ridiculous ! Bank with a normal bank!
Never Bank Loan Auto again! They is disrespectful and service is very Suck... need training again....
Their app sucks and they charged you unreasonable fees
