Emergency visit boxer ripped nail off on boat. Staff was extremely helpful and professional. Cant thank them enough for very fast response.

I called this place on Monday and Tuesday they told me they’d call me back to have my dog put to sleep. I’m still waiting for their call. It is now Thursday. Luckily there is better veterinarian to accommodate my needs.

Village Veterinary Hospital has provided Forever Paws Animal Shelter with services for the Néw Bedford area clientele! Everyone we have dealt with have been extremely professional, friendly and obviously care so much for each animal brought to them! The village veterinary is a compassionate place to bring you furry companion. They are friendly, make you feel at home. You can feel that your pet is in good hands there. I trust them entirely.

So far we have been using village vet for about a year. The only complaint i have is that their response time is very slow. Then agian they are a very busy place. They are compassionate and handled my 125 pound dog with gentle hand. They know what they are doing and has a great team. In a few weeks we will be going in for some ear cropping and will review agian.

I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful staff at Village Veterinary Hospital. Our older dog need much patience and care in the past few months and they were there for us to answer any questions or concerns. Such a caring group of professionals.

I would recommend her to anyone. Shes a great person. I would give her six stars if i could.

I have used the same vet for 11 years, we recently switched our animals care over to Village Veterinary Hospital and we couldn’t be happier! All staff members are kind and extremely caring ! Couldn’t have chosen a better vet for our fur babies!

This is my second review for this place.Where do I start? I wont repeat the first one. Im sure it can be found on here. After my first review went without a response I decided to make a new one. The main veterinarian talked to another customer about my review (my sister in-law) and said tell them Im sorry Id rather hear from the business personally, this was very unprofessional. and then asked why I wanted to breed my pure lab with a husky, thats not her place first of all and it was the top mixed breed of 2018. Never acknowledged the terrible way they put my cat down last year, or maybe that part slipped her mind? I highly doubt that. Bottom line is unprofessional, judgemental, rude and lacking compassion. Maybe she will respond this time! Not that Ill ever go back

My Rex a small 11lb chipoo was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor about 6 weeks ago. I was devastated to say the least. Petrified of losing my best friend and beyond sick to my stomach. I called many places and spoke to many clinics and honestly I could not afford ANY of them. There is not a lot of compassion if you cant afford treatment. I truly felt hopeless and defeated. Then on a whim I called the humane society who suggested I try The Village Veterinary Hospital. I am so thankful for that call. Here is were I met Dr.Brito and her staff, And I am thankful for each person I had the pleasure of interacting with here. They are truly for the animals! Each staff member was kind compassionate and actually listens to your concerns. Dr. Brito is honest and straight forward. Which is greatly appreciated and refreshing. She is kind, caring, and also compassionate which I could quickly pick up on. She made it affordable to me and truly gave me hope when no one else would. I could never thank her and her staff enough. Also as far as the surgery she did a amazing job getting wide enough margins. I am so relieved to be able to say his biopsy came back clean! I will always come here, this is now my first choice vet hand down! She is not about money, she absolutely loves animals and it shines through the moment you meet her!

Best vet ever! Love all of them. Dr. Brito is amazing. She has been taking care of my American Staffordshire for years. She has done multiple surgeries on my dog and allowed me many extra years with my beloved fur baby. My dog Roxi is now 13 years old! I recommend her and them to anyone. Her prices are also very very reasonable. ❤️❤️

I brought my dog for ear crop surgery. At first impression, hospital lobby appeared clean and welcoming. They said surgery went well, pup appeared ok that day. Attempted to bring him back on a suspicion that his incision was infected and the doctor was unavailable, return phone calls back were limited and no one ever answers the phone. I had another doctor at my regular very confirm infection. Went back to be rebandaged and told them about the infection and they denied it. The doctor didnt even examine him, Just looked at video on Skype and wasnt even in the hospital! End result is that one ear is a full 1/2 shorter than the other and a different shape. If youre looking for an ear crop with great results and good follow up care, keep shopping and skip village vet.

Recommend this vet to everyone and anyone my pitbull just went in today for surgery to have some skin cyst removed and skin tags they did a great job he was very happy nice and neat clean-shaven and everything I recommend them to everybody and their cost is very reasonable recommend them to everyone

I have used their services since they opened but this is the second time I needed a sick call and was turned away due to unavailability. Perhaps they should build simentine in for there sick patients. The ER is far and cost 100.00 just to walk in the door. Disappointing.
