I had a great experience getting my Subaru heads machined at Chesterfield Engines. They finished the work inside three business days for a competitive price. The heads look great! The milled surfaces look pristine and ready for a new head gasket. They cleaned every nook and cranny; they look like they just rolled off the production line.

Best engine house in town. Took care of me quickly and kept the cost down. Jerry and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks again.

It took over three months for my engine to be repaired I called multiple times and was given multiple reasons why it was taking so long. I was extremely nice and understanding since Covid happened and I understand people deal with things outside of work but after three months I had called and said I was getting it towed somewhere else because I had read review of a car coming in after my car was there and getting in and out in three days! Unacceptable. I had exhausted my resources on getting back and forth and they didn’t care. They are very nice on the phone but I don’t believe for a second there’s any reason to take over three months while taking in others and getting them done after I had waited for so long. After I complained and said I was towing it elsewhere they had it done in a couple days but now I’m in shop again with problems. They are nice people but I would never again take any car there for anything.

Jerry and his crew are great people Ive known them for over 7 years and they always do a great job. They may not have it ready right when you want it but ive never had anything come back that they did incorrectly. Very professional guys!

Friendly and honest

I personally didnt have work done here but i bought a 2006 f250 that had a 5.4 rebuilt engine from them and called and talked to the owner for information on the trucks engine thats still under warranty and they were very helpful and engine is running strong and not skipping a beat. Overal by the way this engine runs they did an awesome job.

Took a very long time to have my motor done. 5.3L v8 in a Chevy truck. The communication from them at first was not so good but got better as the weeks went on. But I must say they did an awesome job. Truck runs better than ever. Very clean job too. Was not just thrown together. They went the extra mile for me to make sure I was happy with the job. Overall I was very pleased with the work I had done there and happy that there are still shops around that do a good job for a decent price.

Yes,communication is not the best. but when they do get around to fixing something .... REST ASSURED,its done right.They dont answer the phone because theyre busy putting engines together.everything that comes out of there(in due time)comes out Done right !!you just got to wait your turn💁🏿‍♂️.Patience is a virtue, ignorance is bliss ......so if maybe youre not the sharpest tool in the shed, if u dont mind waiting around a while, well this is the shop for you ! lol ...💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻I love ya jerry !!😘

Hold on here we go. These guys have bad business practice by never calling when they say they will. They might possibly be auto incompetent as well by keeping a vehicle for a long period of time and not permanently fixing the problem.

Ive had two engines done here. The first was a 2006 GMC Envoy inline 6. They did a great job, engine is still running fine 3 years later. They even fixed the pulsing alternator (flickering headlights) issue, which the Dealer could not fix. The latest job is a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue with the Northstar V6. Running good so far.

By far the worst business practices ever....Basically had a set of my heads from a number matching engine for several months, only to call me and ask what I wanted done with them again, or if I still wanted them?! Charged me $75 just to get them back because they cleaned and unassembled them... I GOT THEM BACK FULL OF RUST !!!! Obviously they had been sitting in a damp area.I was warned about going there from a Master Mechanic that works for the city, but I figured Id give them a chance anyways...BIG MISTAKE on my part!My next complaint against them will be with the Better Business Bureau.They have my phone number if they want to make it right.,,,and since I belong to car club(s) and am a Senior Program Manager/Engineer for the automotive industry Ill be sure to share my experience.THIS PLACE IS A JOKE !!!

This place is a joke had my block done and heads done on 2 engines over charged they never called back and never answered and tools months to do I was mind blown the pace has no sign or parking lot its looks abounded and is rotting part parts laying every were how they know whos is who idk greasy smelly looking staff liers I am never going there agian and I know other bad experiences that are not on thereNext review is going on better business bureau will be reported for your scamsOwner dont respond youve been caught#autozone for life

I will never use this place again,drop off a head to be and took 2weeks to have it done,then when i call there and ask about it i get told that some one will call me back.never happens if i ran my business this way,my doors would b closed.....i will never recommend anybody to this place again
