Dont waste your time with this place. You cant make people give you donations, & if you dont make your quota they send you home. & they are lying on what actually goes to the foundations, most goes in their pockets as profits.
Worked here for all of eight days back in 2013, and was fired for not connecting with the customers, i.e. not making money for them. If I had known I would be canned, I wouldve stuck it out in my retail job until I had found something better. If you are looking for a job, STAY AWAY! There are other jobs that pay way more than $7.25 an hour (at least thats what I was paid back in 2013; I dont know what their base pay is now nor do I care) If you get a phone call asking about some charity you never heard of, dont give them money because I heard that only a small percentage goes to these charities; they keep the rest. DO NOT WORK THERE!! DONATE LOCALLY!!
I would never work there. They barely give anything to the charities and want you to con people out of money. Management was terrible and heartless. I made up my mind that it was not for me when I asked about why such a small % goes to the actual charity when other organizations give much larger % and got a snarky answer back. They care about their pocket not the charities. They look for people in need of a job, convince them its for a good cause and then hope that they dont care enough or are desperate enough not to ask any more questions.
CRF is an awesome place to work! They have a very diverse group of people and all of them work very hard as a team. It is an exciting environment and the growth opportunities are endless. CRF truly cares about the people that work for them and about the charities that they serve. I couldnt ask for a better work environment and family. I am truly apart of something very special here! I highly recommend becoming a part of this team.
Have worked at CRF for over 7 years now. They have been very good to during some trying times in these 7 years. They have brought some prople into my life that have become very important yo me. I am thankful for the people I have met here.
I really do love to work for CRF. They have been very good to me and allowed me to grow. Very exciting environment with awesome people to work with!!!! I have made many friends here and they do have health and vision benefits. Right on the bus line. I am still very happy with almost a year and a half of time working with CRF. The work and bonuses can be very rewarding, it pays all my bills!
Known scammers; trick people out of money in the guise of charity.
This place has done so much for me! I love CRF and working with them has been the best! I would recommend CRF to anyone looking for a job or a partner!
CRF is a excellent company to work for. I have worked there on and off and have a total of 3 and a half years of total time working for them. I have the benefit of working there over a 7 year time frame so I have been able to watch the company grow and become a place where you can work and have opportunity for advancement because its a company that promotes from within, but you yourself can promote yourself by investing your time and energy into your work and its a huge payoff yes the base pay is 7.25 a hour but u have regular raises as well as a commission for full time employees is a 3% collection bonus and 2% sold bonus and part time employees get a 1% sold bonus and 2% collection bonus, but as you learn and grow you will find other opportunities for compensation such as a recurring donation that gives you a $10 bonus per one you getplus creates a residual collection bonus for the next 12 months it is collected. I myself am currently employed at CRY and I average $14 a hour, but I have only been back here 1 month this time next year Ill be making at least $17 a hour if not more due to residual collections being compounded on the monthly I get. Overtime is also offered but only to the employees who give their all to their work and dedicate their time to learning and growing in the company. I myself have the intentions to grow and give my all here with the company that gave me a second chance its nothing less than they or I deserve CRF is a excellent company to work for as long as you yourself want to grow and give your all. My name is Cody Gowan and I intend to work and grow here because they allowed me to have that opportunity and they will give you the same opportunity the only catch is you have to work the way you would want someone to work for you.
This place is a freaking joke. Work here if you think its ok to get five min breaks. The supervisor Ralph Berryman is a stuck up know it all jerk. I worked there on and off for 6 years yet everyday i was treated as a trainee. Dont believe the hype you will only make minimal wages. Yeah work here if you like to promote cherities that only give 12% to the cause and pockets the rest for them selves. This company is sad it was a better place when we had beneifits. Yeah Ralph took that away about 3 years ago. This company will not give you time to learn the job. They will send you home if you dont get pledges. CRF sucks the managment are losers low pay, no benefits, only 12% actauly goes to cherity.
These people tell you you get paid 10.55 or whatever but you REALLY GET PAID 7.25, THEY ARE LIARS i would NOT recommend it at all YOU REALLY GET PAID 7.25 REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY ARE SAYING, ITS A BS ASS JOB WOULDNT RECOMMAND IT
Worse job I ever had. I felt so guilty having to call these poor people and beg for money for a charity no-one has ever heard of.
Work wise: horrible pay. They lie on how much you make. They play your bad calls in front of everyone and its belittling.Company wise: dont donate here. They say they give 12-15 percent of every dollar on average of your money to the charity, but after further research, they keep most of it to themselves.
Helpful and friendly
A joke.
