Do not trust this place.During the phone call from them telling me whats wrong with my truck I told them that Id take it to the dealer since its a major repair. Roger says but we already have it taken apart and the parts ordered so I gave in.The next day at 1pm I stopped by to check on it. Nothing is taken apart. Just the tires are off. Liar. Now Im mad. Roger lied to me. Three and a half hours later its done but the labor is over $1000. So labor is over $300 an hour? Thats highway robbery.Next on the bill there is $312 fee for axle service. What the heck did they do for $312 that isnt covered in the repair?Do not trust Roger. Stay away from this shop. Have your vehicle towed before allowing them to overcharge you.Im willing to show the $3431.15 bill to anyone that wants to see it.

New Review: I strongly believe that it isn’t if a company makes a mistake but how they deal with it that defines good customer service. Joel, the new manager at the store told me he is working hard to clean up the store and repair some of the negative reputation that was associated with the store in the past. Joel and another employee I think named Kendra were top notch and took initiative to resolve my problem. They expressed interest in my concern and understood where I was coming from. They took the time to fully listen and then worked with me on a resolution we all felt was fair. They went above and beyond to make it right. I thought long and hard about if I should modify this to a 4 or 5. My gut told me a 4 and then wait and see if the positive change is sustained. However, I couldn’t justify anything less than a 5. Thanks again guys!Original Review (1 star): Something shady happens every time I go here. They have recommended services that I dont need most times (shocks/struts). Most recently they charged me for a tire they didnt install. This on top of the lack of attention to detail (losing valve step caps, not wiping up grease/dirt) is what qualifies them for a 1 star review.

It seems that the store committed to having my car done, made false promises as to when it would be worked on and to try to cover themselves provided me with substandard service. (Not providing me with the new sensors I had already agreed to have installed) Now I will have to pay someone to pull the tires again, replace the sensors, and have the inconvenience of losing my vehicle again for another day.

Typically I ALWAYS go to Tire Discounters in New Albany...but hey, I got a coupon $39.99 tire rotation and balance and tpms check, and another coupon for free alignment check. Lets just say not worth the headache, what was supposed to be a scheduled easy maintenance for $40 ended up taking 2 days and costing me $95! I will be back to Tire Discounters from now on!!!!!

The service was so great that Im making an exception.I went in for an oil change and tire rotation last week, at the Hausfeldt Lane location in New Albany.I did not have an appointment and I had an urgent family matter in which I had to attend that afternoon. Brian, the Manager on duty, was incredibly accommodating and very sincere, even though they were very busy that day.Brian, and his team, provided exceptional and expedited service while treating me as a person, rather than the next in line. I received a call within about an hour, conveying my car was ready.I cannot express how grateful I am for their authentic and genuine character. They provided professional service with a small town, community, vibe. It reminded me of how the personality of businesses were run when I was a small child...the way every business should make you feel.The best part is, they provide that type of face of the business without realizing it. Had new tires and .5 spacers installed. They also did an alignment that left me with too much camber. The front tires noticeably pointed inwards wearing my new tires improperly. I took it back to get it remedied. I picked it up with less camber but still noticeable. I didnt receive a alignment number sheet and when I asked what was done, I received no answer. I asked for any other solution and received no help. The employees seem like nice folks, but the quality of work is not up to par.

Ive always gone here because of the convenient location, close to my home, even though their prices are always high. I recently went in to have a coil replaced and a tire patched. Problem is, they never patched the tire, so it went flat again. Ive tried to take it back, but they wont let me make an appointment, and tell me its first come first serve so Id have to wait. Well I came in and paid for the service originally two weeks ago, so I guarantee Im first in line. Customer service is the most important thing to me so theyve absolutely lost all of my future business.

We showed up to have a small tire changed an the guy was rude about wanting to change the tire then he walked out an looked at the tire then looked at us an said let me ask my guys if they even wanna do this. So at that point I asked him what that ment and didnt have a response for me then walked off I would recommend them if my life depended on it.

I went there with a continued tire pressure issue. Cory, who helped me right away was very kind to check my tires and caught one that still needed air. I also asked about tires and some things I need to have done with my car. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I really appreciated his time and help.I also spoke to the Manager there named Brian about some needed work. He took time to explain things to me and gave me an estimate for the needed work. Wasted my time driving from a good distance away...

Overpriced and unreliable. Got our car towed here due to it not starting nearby. Will never use them again. Ended up paying close to 1000 dollar to get my car fixed, which was unexpected but we (at first) trusted that they were doing what was needed. After leaving the shop, the cars check engine light came on. We had a coder which showed us which code it was that was wrong with the car. When we called to get an estimate for a price on this, they said they would have to do a whole other diagnostic on it (which they had just done $125) and then priced the sensor as over 450 dollars ending in an additional 600 dollars. We took the car to a RELIABLE mechanic near my parents and were told the sensor had clearly been unplugged and that was all the problem was, meaning it was likely unplugged by Ken Towerys while they were working on the car, and then expected us to come back to get it fixed. Will not be back.

Finding a good mechanic its like finding a good doctor. I feel safe knowing Manger Brian and his staff have my back. I didnt have a way home tonight but he made sure I got home after a upsetting day because my car wouldnt start. Please keep him, because a caring heart is hard to find.

I brought my Jeep 2015 Wrangler JKU all stock to the shop and Jonathan helped me make my dream come true and transformed my stock Jeep into what you see below. I highly recommend this place. Had appointment scheduled for simply an alignment, but when I arrived the service counter guy told me it would be an hour to hour & half before they could get to my truck. Whats the point of having a set appointment time? I didnt have time to sit around there. On my way out the guy told me I could make an appointment. Well... I already had an appointment! If specific time appointments are scheduled, then stick to the appointment and not waste the customers time. In addition, no one inside the office was wearing a mask. Ive taken my three family vehicles there for years, but its time to go elsewhere. KT service is going in the wrong direction.

Being new to the area and not knowing anyone in the tire business I was at a loss for who to go to for my flat. A neighbor recommended Ken Towerys and I was very happy with the work and service. One plus for me was the online appointment option. This helped me plan the rest of the day. Would use them again!

At 62 years old its safe to say that I visited more than a few tire shops in my lifetime. I work in a customer service oriented industry so my expectations are probably a little higher than the average customer. Brian at the New Albany store is truly an asset to your organization. He made the buying process very easy, they had me in and out in less time than I would have ever imagined. The facility was clean and well staffed. I had to return a week later for a minor service issue and was pleasantly surprised that it was taken care of it no charge. I highly recommend the New Albany store or any service

Today the young fella in charge renewed my faith in people! About 1/4 mile from their store I was at a gas station wasting time between doctors appointments since I live over an hour away. My Jeep would not start when I went to leave. I called this Ken Towery bc it was right across the street. Even though he was very short staffed when I called, the guy I assume was in charge asked me what time my next doctors appointment was. He then called one of his employees who was out doing a run of some sort for them and told him to come straight to the gas station before coming back to the shop and jump my car for me. He told him while I was on the other phone listening to hurry because it was important. When he hung up with the employee I thanked him and asked him what kind of charge I would pay when the guy jumped my car. He said Oh, nothing at all. I said Are you sure?! I appreciate it so so much because I live far away and Im basically stranded right now! He said to me, There is no charge because this is what people should do. This is how we should treat each other. I wasnt really sure there were people in the world outside of my circle of family and friends who felt that way anymore because most days you see no sign of it at all! I really appreciate this guy and if I lived in this area he would have every single penny of my tire and oil change business. I hope he sees this and if you do: Please do not lose that understanding that we all should treat each other with basic courtesy and kindness because you will pass that on to others. When they see it still exists and your efforts even when you may think its just something small youre doing, it will eventually have a positive impact on the world. Thank you so much!!

I cannot recommend this place to anyone. I had an experience of them leaving a rag in an exhaust pipe behind the air filter which caused me to almost have an accident 1 block from the establishment. I was really scared to pieces! Finally got back and they removed it! Yeah! Then they broke a lug nut and forgot to replace it until I asked about it. Then they did not have one so I waited for 45 minutes with it still not fixed. I just asked for my car and will get it replaced by some place else. Below is a pictures of how they left grease on the inside of my car. I am now trying to get it cleaned up! Just stay away from them until they learn how to service a vehicle.DO NOT go unless you just do not care!PS:At lease they did not charge me as well they should not because I would not have paid.

Had to get a used tire put on a rim that had been curbed. The outer rim wall was chewed up and Brian told me to bring the rim and tire in so he could look at it. He assured me once I got there that he could fix it up for me and get the tire mounted and fifteen minutes later I was on my way home with a wheel ready to use. And to top it off, he did it free of charge. Great staff and great service for all of your wheel/tire needs.

No mask, no social distancing, filthy. They did excellent work on my car but have nothing in place to protect customers from Covid19. I am shocked. It is obvious that the store has not been cleaned in several months.

I spoke to the manager Brian on Thursday and called around 3-4 and told him I need my tire repaired. He said they were completely booked up but bring my car in and he will see what he could do. I took my elderly parents to their doctors appointment in their car and realized the heater wasn’t putting out very good heat. I stopped in and ask about the possibility of getting a cooling system flush and fill, and they got them in within an hour. The heater is now putting out heat as needed and was done promptly by a very professional staff and at a reasonable price.Thank You,Mike

We took our son’s car in at 5:30pm on 3/14/19 when he needed tires due to a vandalism incident. They had tires of the appropriate size and type in stock. I asked what time the next day the car would be ready for pick up and the manager on duty, Dennis, answered that it would be ready the same day. I knew the store closed at 7pm so I thought this was definitely going over and above to take care of us. My wife and I went for a quick meal and returned. When I walked in they were finishing up and checking the alignment.I think it almost goes without saying that we were very well pleased and would recommend these guys to anyone.

Quickest oil change Ive ever gotten. They made sure I was aware I had a fuel leak, and let me come back and take pictures of it while the vehicle was lifted.All fluids refilled and free tire rotation. Would definitely recommend.

I got new brakes on my car yesterday and was beyond pleased with the job that Avery did on my car. Also Cameron was very pleasant and helpful at the counter when I was checking out. Price was good, service was awesome and I didn’t wait long at all.

I called the store close to closing time after an incredibly bad experience at Walmart auto center. The gentleman on the phone told me to get there as soon as I could and that they would help me. When I arrived, the associate went completely above and beyond to ensure my experience here overshadowed how I was treated elsewhere. My family has brought vehicles here for several years. They have honest mechanics who tell you exactly what you need and nothing more. They usually give you multiple options to get major repairs done as cheap as possible. They also usually have coupons to make their prices very competitive. I no longer live in New Albany, but this is still where I bring my vehicles when I need work done in Indiana.

Pretty good folks here. They always listen and explain things well for those of us who are halfway mechanically inclined. My go to for simple fluids/brakes/tires from now on.

Brian & Cameron were super helpful today like these folks always are. Got in exactly when asked. They are also always awesome about checking air pressure concerns whenever that orange light comes on. Always fast, helpful, & accommodating.

Needed to have brakes checked. Ask for estimate. (Thank Goodness). Was told front brake pads were good. Needed pads & rotors on the back. 1997 Lexus.Estimated price $589.75. (This included brake fluid Exchange for $104.99)As Im 80 years of age and on Social Security I couldnt afford that kind of money.Took to another shop. Had both front and back done for $480.00. Said brake pads on front were good but rotor was changing color and should be replaced.

This is the only place to go if you want tires or service. They even service exotic vehicles here! Bryan and Cameron are basically family by this point!

Dropped my car off to get a tire patched and rotated and they called and said it was imperative that I replace my front brakes and rotors. I asked if it had to be both rotors and pads and they said absolutely. They said that it would cost ... about $438. I made two calls and they both said they were overcharging me, at the least, and I likely didnt even need both brakes and rotors changed (given that I had no wobbling or squeaking).As it turns out, my rotors are fine, and the brake pad change was ~$75 (including labor) elsewhere. If I had went with these guys, which Im sure many would because of how serious they made it sound, I wouldve lost ~$350.

We walked in and they were not able to take an oil change right away about 10am on a weekday, but they assured me that if I made an appointment I would be taken care of. I made an appointment for 4pm the same day, I came back later and dropped my car off at 4pm, went to eat next door came back at 4:45 and they hadnt even moved my car yet. They had a challenge with the car before me, it happens,but my car was not ready until 6:30pm. They do a great job, but if you are pressed for time or on any kind of schedule you may want to look for something more expeditious.

Twice in one week theyve had to fix my poor car but they always get it together quick and painlessly.

When in for a tire repair around 4pm busy night at lest 3 or 4 customers well ahead of me, I was quoted to be finished around 7pm so I grabbed my headphones out of the car and took a seat in the clean and free wifi available waiting room. Sure it was a wait but the seats were pretty comfortable and the tv was playing old mobster movies, customers name being called in a swift and orderly fashion, and in no time it was my turn. Quoted by 7pm, here it is 7pm and Im home making spaghetti and meatballs, in and with time to stop by the grocery. Great job guys I hope closing duties were small and you fellas are on your way home now as well. Hey and they even put away my spare and scissor jack in the hidden compartment. Real stand up guys.
