Come here a couple times over the years. Grewt service in terms of technical work and excellent for customer service. When I thought I had a battery problem on my phone they did a full diagnostic on it. They confirmed it was in fact theqin board that had died. No fee was charged since Id essentially need to replace the entire phone. Was really nice of them.

I had set up the appointment online through Verizon. it was easy to find and I actually dropped my phone off and put it in the hands of the owner. He was very helpful to me and polite. parking is a little tight in the back but there are plenty of other lots around. my phone was fixed perfectly and in a timely manner. I was feeling super helpless with my Samsung Note 10. My screen had cracked a month prior and there was a lot of pixel damage that a family member decided to replace for my birthday by a different store. That store had somehow messed with the connection to my battery and my phone crashed after being taken off the charger. I took it to uBreakiFix to have it looked at and get a battery replacement (I thought the problem was that I needed a new battery). The technician reset the clips holding the battery in place and it immediately solved the problem. He could have charged me $90 to replace the battery and I would have been none the wiser. I used them in the past to replace the battery in a Pixel phone. I just had them do the same for my Pixel 4XL, and even though I have had the phone over a year it was covered under warranty - no charge!

Unfortunately they were unable to fix my device, being that they specialize in phones and other hand held electronics I can’t blame them for the results.

I have gone there 4x and in my opinion, the glass they use in there I phone 11 and 7 are poor and break fast. I would suggest going to apple if you can because the quality is better and it is about the same price for an iPhone 11 its $ 199 and at ubreakifix its 160 so for 40$ you can get a waterproof screen that proudly will last longer. i cant speak on there android/Samsung screens there proudly fine.

Im always skeptical of these places that advise themselves as official repair shop. Coming from an Apple user where you know youll get quality care at Apple Stores, I wasnt given much of a choice for my Samsung device. However, after my first experience today replacing a cracked screen on my Note 10+, I have to admit the staff at this location was awesome from the get go. I made my claim through Asurion since I had Samsung Premium Care, and within minutes they had my claim and within two hours my phone was ready to go. Turns out a new battery is included, double win if you ask me.

We decided to go here instead of Cambridge because despite scheduling and then being rescheduled at the Cambridge location, we arrived and told us they couldnt do it that day. We then went to the Needham location and they offered quick, easy, and helpful support and got my screen fixed without any flaws.

Prompt, courteous, and they fixed it! The price apparently is fixed b Google (steep), but that is another story.

These guys replaced the battery on my Nexus 6P in 1-2 hours, as promised. They were friendly and knowledgeable, and I recommend them without hesitation.Suggestion for the staff: it took me a couple of charges for the new battery to kick in properly. At first I thought there was a problem and I was annoyed to say the least. If you guys warned me about this it didnt sink in. If this is a common occurrence I recommend you make it very clear to your customers.

Excellent experience getting my iPhone 6 repaired here! I recommend purchasing the warranty glass ware because I was able to get it fixed with minimal cost when the screen inevitably broke again. The staff on both visits were incredibly helpful and friendly! Definitely come here when you have your next technology issue. :-)

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Turnaround time was very prompt as well. Unfortunately having the glass on our device repaired introduced another issue with something and we ended up having to get it replaced with the manufacturer under warranty. I think this might be unique to the device though and would definitely still recommend uBreakiFix.

I brought my old tired iPhone 6s in for a repair. My charging port was clogged with years of pocket lint. The very capable fixit person removed the lint, gave it a hit with compressed air and it is back to new. Excellent service and repair.

In June I had my S8 plus screen repaired by them and it appeared all was well. The screen functioned flawlessly and I had no initial issues. I was told that the water resistance would be maintained after the repair. Come July, very minor water exposure (very well within the specified limits) deemed the phone temporarily unusable and left permanent and fairly severe damage to the screen. Water leaked in through the screen and I would not trust uBreakiFix for any more repairs seeing as they blatantly lied about maintaining water resistance.

These guys did an amazing repair on my phone. Top notch work. Great customer service.

Great service. My table stopped working and I didn’t know if was it worth it or not trying to fix it, I took it there, and the service was was super fast and efficient. Also they do a free diagnostic and after that they let you know what is the problem and how much would it be. That’s awesome I recommend this place

There were some communication gaps is scheduling the initial appointment. However, the store manager (B) quickly corrected the issue and got my phone issue resolved. Highly recommend.

They replaced the batteries in 2 phones, the quality of the work seems very good so far. Although I thought $80 to change a battery was a little high, but they did take $20 off the second one.

I got my sim card stuck inside the sim card slot and went to the store to fix the phone. An hour later, Patrick was able to take the phone apart and pushed the sim card out at no charge since they said that they were only taking a look. Great, quick and reliable service. Would come back here again to have my phone fixed.

My experience with UBreakiFix Needham was very positive. I appreciate that they first test to check battery/phone health since there are other potential causes for reduced battery life.Their price of $100 seemed a bit on the high side to me for a battery replacement. However, they had the phone (a Galaxy S7) back to me in under 2 hours, the quality of work looked great to me, and nearly a week out now my battery has been back to lasting all day with plenty of charge to spare.To me, the OEM grade battery plus quality of work was worth it, saved me from taking a chance on a third-party battery and the task of opening and resealing the phone myself.Also, bonus points since I went to the Needham location after another area UBreakiFix told me they wouldnt/couldnt work on Galaxy S7s due to their difficulty in being resealed to factory specs.Thank you!

Thrilled with the service here! An automatic software update messed up my S8+ phone and the cell provider couldnt fix it. I called this company twice and spoke with Adrian for advice and consult, which he willingly provided. Then I walked in, Brandan took me right away, and within 15 minutes, my problem with my phone was fixed. Brandan was patient, calm and made me feel comfortable asking my questions. What a relief to have a functional phone, which I would not have had without their help!

Overall great owner and extremely fair business-Brought in my nexus 5x for the google fi network because it continued to turn off after about 1 minute or so of turning on. The owner took a look at it free of charge and actually spent a good half hour with checking it out. It was a battery issue and did not require any sort of overhaul. He brought the phone back out to me, provided me the parts to open up the back of my phone if it happened again (free of charge), and did not even accept the 20 bucks I tried to offer in appreciation.The business took the least invasive methods to help me and did it out of purely doing good service. If anything goes wrong with my phone, I will be back.

Brought my phone in to replace the screen, after it was finished being repaired, my phone had many performance issues that only started happening after they replaced the screen. Brought it in again to try to fix these issues and they had no idea how to approach it.

I replaced my screen and battery at this place. At first it was great, but a short while later the battery performance started dropping off noticeably, much faster than the original battery.Anyhow, few months later I drop the phone and the screen just stops working. I take it to the local guy in the mall, he opens it in front of me and what do we see? The internal screws that hold things in place are barely hanging on, not tightened at all and the screen connector was loose. Guy just plugs it in, tightens all the screws and on we go.Why were the screws loose?? At best, this is sloppy work, at worst, it forces me to go back to them. Never going back.

Quick service and quality repair.

While the screen repair for my iPhone SE was prompt, I would highly encourage anyone who has broken a screen on their iPhone to steer clear of this place. uBreakiFix is not at all upfront about the fact that you are getting a significantly worse screen than what comes with the device originally.I understand that since Apple does not authorize 3rd party repairs like this, new OEM screens are almost impossible for a place like this to get. But this would only be ok if uBreakiFix disclosed all of the issues that the screens they use may have. I will list them in no particular order:1. Pixel colors bleed slightly, making the whole screen look fuzzy. Its true that iPhones these days have a high enough dot pitch that this is not a huge issue. But if you look closely enough at a black-and-white image on the replacement screen, youll notice that when a lighter pixel is to the left of a darker pixel, the edge appears red; when a lighter pixel is to the right of a darker pixel, the edge appears blue. From afar this ends up looking like a lack of clarity, unless of course the image has vertical lines, in which case the color aberrations become apparent. I actually pointed this out to the tech right after getting my phone back, but he claimed not to see this. I doubted his honesty, but I figured that if thats the extent of the differences, I might as well suck it up -- after all, uBreakiFix did the repair for only $70, whereas Apple was going to charge $130.2. Very gradually (in ~2-3 months time), the screen developed a band of lighter color vertically down the very middle of the screen. I have not had this phone exposed to any liquid, besides the usual atmospheric moisture and skin oil, and in any case it does not look like the usual discolorations caused by exposure to liquid. I am not sure what caused this, but this has not happened to any of the iPhones I have owned over the years.3. Overall the color balance of the screen is more blue than that of the original screen. You can correct for this in iOS settings, so I dont mind it too much; it turns out that this is a commonly reported issue with aftermarket screens.4. The pixel response rate is significantly worse! The display appears laggy, especially in cold weather.5. This one is speculative, but typing on this screen is significantly less accurate somehow than typing was on the original screen or is on any iPhone I try to use, including my old 5S (same keyboard size). Perhaps the digitizer gets replaced along with the screen, and the aftermarket digitizer is different enough from the OEM one to cause this. I do not pretend to know anything about the technologies involved to claim this one for sure, though.6. The battery started to get drained a lot more quickly right after the repair compared to right before the repair when using the screen; it is obvious that the aftermarket screen is using quite a bit more energy than the original.The reason why I am posting this now is because of #4 above -- now that colder weather has come, this screen has at times been so laggy in updating the image that it interferes with using the phone! (This was around ~0-5 degrees F.) As always, it is true that you get what you pay for, but it is dishonest to not state any of these issues to customers; #3 above is well-documented, and some Googling revealed that most, if not all, of the other issues have been brought up with repairs such as this one.I also understand that uBreakiFix offers a 90-day warranty, but having had the phone repaired at the end of July, I did not have a chance to notice #2 and #4 (and to some extent #5 and #6) until after the warranty period.

Great experience. They are open 7 days a week. I went in on a Sunday afternoon and Patrick fixed my iPhine 6s in 3 minutes. It would not charge and I thought the charging port would have to be replaced. He took out a tweezer and removed pocket lint from the port. He said it was a common problem. All set. Thank you.

I brought in a 4 month old phone to have a broken screen replaced. It came back to me with a speaker that sounds terrible. They say their diagnosics say nothing is wrong and wont fix it or do anything about it.Apparently, UBreakIFix doesnt see anything wrong with fixing the screen but leaving me with a damaged phone that needs a me to mail my phone away for a warranty replacement.

I dont usually do this but my wife convinced me. I am not active in social media. I am busy running a company so I FEDEX my Sony Xperia Z2 tablet to them because it was stuck and not getting past the startup and locked in a continuous loop. Then looked at and called and send we cant do anything so I FEDEX it back to me. I then spent my time, which is valuable, but I wanted it fixed. So I went on the Sony site and within an hour hooked it up to my computer and an hour later had it fixed. They couldnt be bothered to take the time do this apparently. Ill never go to them, even with an easy repair which I guess that is all they do, fix cracked screens I guess.

I really cant say enough about how great they were, and I mean everyone who I interacted with.Heres the gist: I cracked the glass and LCD on my Samsung Note 5.1. They ordered overnight new glass and LCD screen.2. Within an hour after dropping off my phone the next day they had discovered that there was some water damage to the circuity at the top of the phone. I was told that Samsung did not allow them to fix the phone unless they brought it back to, essentially, brand new shape and so they were not allowed to fix, unless off course I also replace more parts.3. I was obviously bummed out, but they said that they would temporarily hitch up the new screen so I could BACKUP all my data.How awesome was that.4. I ordered a new phone, had it in two days and then I used Samsungs Switch to sync my old phone to my new phone and got ALL my DATA.5. While I was waiting for my backup to complete a women came in to pickup her ACER Laptop. She was ecstatic over her laptop getting a new battery and also got a conflict fixed with MacFee and some other antivirus software.6. YES, they even fix Laptops, hoverboards and probably Drones as well.A really nice group of guys that like what they do and treat customers the was we all want to be treated.
