I dont normally leave reviews like this but i felt the need to cause the experience i had was far beyond expectation. I dropped my car off to have an aftermarket exaust installed and was expecting to have to wait there cause i didnt have a ride to get back home. Then i was approached by John and he offered me a ride which blew my mind. He was very professional and kind. Ill definetly being going back when i need more work done.

Real nice people, they do great checkups. One thing though I get there & I get a check up then I get something fixed but also something broken from the same place. If the vehicle is out of the slot you cant get it fixed that day so you have to schedule for another day but by doing that they could say they never made the damage and charge for what they possibly broke.

I need to have my brakes checked to make sure that they were still good as I had over 100,000 mi on original equipment. I expected to need brakes but was very pleasantly surprised to find out I didnt. Everyone was very professional pictures showed me exactly what I have and I couldnt have been more happy with the service.

Nederland Meineke is run and staffed by people who care more for their community than that bottom dollar. They are locally owned and have gone above and beyond for us time again to keep us on the road! Weve been faithful customers since before the Meyers bought it out and look forward to returning to them for all our car and truck care needs!

No communication whatsoever. Was told a 2 hr APPOINTMENT Took 8 hours for a diagnostic test. Said all this stuff was broken and it wasn’t. My AC is working perfect now since I went elsewhere. An employee GOT INTO MY VEHICLE WITH MY 14 y/o niece AND 12 y/o daughter to move my car out the way while I was inside. What man without a uniform to identify hisself tells a child to unlock the car and hops in and moves it!!! This is very unprofessional and the lady at the counter with tatted 80’s eyeliner rude and told me I shouldn’t of left a 14 yr old in the car by theirselves. Wow! No one apologized or showed any concern whatsoever. Poorest customer service in town!!!

Been using this guy for years for a my diesel truck. More than once he has brought it back from the brink. Excellent staff and cares very much for each of his customers. Family owned and oriented. I have used a few mechanics in between but always come back there and get it fixed right. Never find a better mechanic in the mid county area. Good mechanic is like a good doctor. Drive miles to go get it taken care of the first time.

They do way more than just mufflers!! They were friendly. knowledgeable, thorough and even took pictures! Will definitely use them again in the future.

After inspection report, the repairs were made in a timely manner, and the final price was exactly as quoted. No surprises and no up sell. I have used this business several times and have always been satisfied.

5 star customer care, 4 star is for staffing issues but this place is very busy will be best to call and schedule if you cannot drop off and pick up later. Is great if you are not in a hurry.

Does a good job informing the customer of the problem and the solution for the problem. Was not happy with the condition of my vehicle when I picked it up. The technician left grease stains from his shoes on the mat. Also, my truck had a body odor smell that did not dissipate for a couple of days. Pretty nasty. Company worked with my warranty company for payment. No issues from repairs since I picked it up.

The service was very good and courteous the owner was very upfront and honest with the repairs everybody was very courteous The work was well done I would recommend this Meineke very strongly for service.

Went to Meineke on Nederland Avenue to have my AC fixed. They charged me $724.93 and my AC was still not fixed. Meineke then tried to charge me an additional $724.93 to re-do the job they failed to do the first time. Avoid this business at all costs.

Went there to get a wire fixed in my harness and they never even looked for it..If you have a tuned and deleted truck Do Not take it to them. They are scared of them. All they had to do was fix a bad wire which after a couple hours found myself and replaced it. These people are not as good as what there friends say they are..There nothing more than a place to get your oil changed.

Office staff was very friendly and helpful. Being from out of town they made me feel like I was back in my home town! Service was fast and love the updates during the process.

Went here for an idler pulley and serpentine belt replacement. The staff we’re excellent kept me informed did excellent work. Kim was great, made sure i knew what was going on at all times and they got the repairs made and my vehicle back in record time! Provided a detail report with pictures! Highly recommend if your in need of a mechanic!!!

I was told when I made my appointment that I would have a free tire rotation, when my wife went to get the oil change she was told that the man peyton made a mistake when quoting me and charged us for the tire rotation. I do not think thats right at all, will not be back, no customer likes being lied too.

I had to find somewhere to bring one of my companies work trucks that had been damaged in the last flood. The truck was only 2 weeks old when it happened. It needed a lot of work. I brought it to the Meineke Car Care in Nederland Ave. After going over it, and running diagnostics, they gave me an estimate which was very reasonable. The truck required new wiring harnesses. This was a lot of different parts and pieces. They kept me informed about dates that parts would get there. Sometimes they would call me. When I called, they were always polite and very transparent. Due to the flood, this truck required a lot of work. They did an excellent job. When they finished up they even brought the truck to our shop and dropped it off for me. Kim and Joe were always very professional and the whole team here is a class act. If you have car trouble, you will be in good hands here.

The employee working who helped me with my oil change was super sweet and helpful. He has some of the best customer service I’ve ever witnessed. I work in retail, so I know great service is hard to come by these days. I’ve been multiple times before and I usually see this other gentleman. He is also very awesome. It’s nice to know that there are multiple people there who genuinely care about their customers. I ended up leaving my car for the oil change and it was finished in a decent amount of time. Also, the price of my oil change was significantly less here than anywhere else in town. This will definitely be the only place I ever take my car from now on! 👌

The lady at the desk was very nice however they were completely overwhelmed. I waited over an hour for an oil change that I had an appointment for. You literally could barely fit in the parking lot. Also I had a coupon and they wouldn’t let me use it. So it cost way more than I wanted to pay for something that took forever! I won’t be going back. I can pay the same price and get and oil change done anywhere else in half the time.

Everyone there was truly amazing and will most definitely be going back and establishing them as my go to for car care from now on!

They did a diagnostic on my ecoboost f150 told me the turbo had to be changed that both of the turbos would have to be changed before they could go forward with the rest of the diagnostic I went and paid them 125 dollars and took it to a honest shop there was a broken cool air line was repaired and all other diagnostic cleared they wanted to charge me over 2000 dollars to fix it scammed will never do business with them and I will be sure to tell everyone not to use them either.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this business for over 10 years, since switching management after Jerry sold this business Meineke is just not the same!The office was a complete wreck! Staff was tired looked over worked, and complaining about job openly in front of customers. Three months ago I made an appointment for a scheduled oil change and waited 3 hours for my oil to be changed! I decided to give them another chance and schedule another oil change for 3pm. I arrived and posted on the door was a hand written letter about them being extremely understaffed. I told them I had an appointment at 3 and the employee let me know it would take an hour and a half for my oil to be changed.. three hours later my oil change was completed! The friendly small town business of Jerry and Mr Powell are gone! loyal customers such as myself will find elsewhere to go.

The work seemed pricey, but they got it done fast.I actually spent more than my vehicle was worth getting repairs done to it (sentimental reasons). I had brought it in for some little fixes (break light wiring and window motor), and they found a lot of suspension problems. The steering is much tighter now and it handles bumps in the road much better.However, i also asked for an oil change if needed and either new headlights or a restore job on existing headlights and neither of those were done.I also spent a ton of money, and it would be nice if as an added service they vacuumed it out or wiped it down.My fuse panel door was on the floorboard, which it may have actually been me that left it there, but it also would have been a nice touch to put it back.The people were nice, and they got it done by the to time they said they would. The final cost was actually a little under their initial quote.So one star docked for the missing added touches, the other star docked for not completing all the work I requested and discussed.Not a negative review by any means, and if you want certified mechanics with top of the line tools, this is a good place.

They are highly committed to their warranty. They replaced all my brake pads and resurfaced all the rotors when I reported a noise issue on the brakes as I put on reverse mode. They did it as fast as they could. Thank you Meineke.

They had my pickup for 2 weeks. There was a hold up on the parts from Dodge due to Tropical storm Imelda. Once they received the parts I had my truck back all seems to be good.

Very helpful and extremely professional. Had a problem with coil packs and plugs on my F-150 . I made an appointment and the job was completed in 2 hours. Fast friendly service today regarding oil change, however, I had an appointment at 8 and the shop wasn’t opened yet because whomever was supposed to open the business that morning I was told overslept so several customers and employees were all waiting outside in the cold to get in. It was about a 15-20 min wait.

They did a great job of diagnosing the problem (which was a bit tricky). The time they had the vehicle was reasonable and overall I was very pleased. They did run into problems that extended the time and price beyond the estimate. I feel the complications should have been foreseen and I should have been given an If this happens... warning. All in all, very fair people that do an honest job and back up their work. I will go back.

Terrible service. Made an appointment For 7:30AM and still waited 2 hours for an oil change. Tim at desk told me “ making an appointment there is like making one at the Drs office, it means nothing”. Exact words!! Once “done” I asked if my tires were rotated, which I told them twice I wanted done and was charged for -NO. They didnt do it, so more waiting while that got done. Will never go back there and advise anyone else who wants professional service to stay away as well.

Making appointment, information of needed repairs and cost, approximate time completed and text of progress made the Meineke process very professional. I also liked the text inspection results with pictures.

I went there to have my car checked as the check car engine and car track signs were on. They checked it and told me to get some parts replaced. Total expense was over $700. I agreed and went there again when they phoned me about the arrival of parts. They put the new parts in the vehicle but the check engine sign again came up within half a mile of run. I went to them again and they did something. Again the check engine sign came within half a mile run.It seems that they could not ascertain the real idsue and wasted my money as well as my precious time.

Inspection and explanation of the brakes problem and ABS system very professional.

Went in because I hit something on the freeway and was paranoid about the leak but they helped and explained it to me and didnt charge me for anything unnecessary considering how paranoid I was.
