I was impressed. Fast efficient & kind. They explained all procedures & costs. Dentist & technician were all so very patient with all my questions... reasonable answers.I missed the text with forms but they gave to me as I was 15 min early. The xray is so fast & high tech.. loved all the equipment so self explanatory. Hope it is approved by insurance. I felt very comfortable with Dentists suggestions & the employees were kind & helpful. I dont understand the 3 star ratings.. not at all what I experienced. Thank you for helping me face my fear of dentistry.. it not that bad!!!😊

This is my to go to dentist . They’re really good especially with people that have dental anxiety. I get my teeth extractions here .I was referred by a dentist in 2016 and I kept coming back . The doctors are all very nice ! They’re very calming . It puts my anxiety at ease . I’m also getting implants here soon ! I’m excited . I wish this was my primary dentist lol . I come to get treatment whenever I can ! Front staff is really nice too .

THE Absolute horrible customer service at a medical office. Front staff is arrogant and condescending. Please provide training that emphasizes kindness, empathy and professionalism to the front staff. They lack all three attributes. I hope the dentists/doctors at this office or a media relations/office manager takes a look at these reviews and implement changes. I will never patronize this office again.

They are amazing I had a lot of anxiety yesterday before getting my 3 remaining wisdom teeth out and they calmed me down so much and explained everything the guy got them out pretty easy and Im doing fine today 26 hours later 🥰🥰 I would highly recommend this team.

I scheduled an appointment through their website and received a phone call later that day only to be placed on hold for over 10 minutes.. Why call? I intend on taking my business elsewhere..

So I was told that they would call me within 3 to 4 weeks for my wisdom tooth surgery and it’s been 5 months… and every time I call I get left on voicemail worst customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Horrid customer service. In all of my years of interacting with people, this was hands down the worst experience. We did not even make it inside the building. They profile everyone outside and say it’s because of COVID. They let everyone else in but us .We all know dental offices are not closed and haven’t been for months. I had this appointment for my dad for over a month so he can get new dentures. We are business professionals and took the day off to take my father to this appointment. They made every excuse possible. We had all of the proper documentation. They didn’t like that his first and middle name were switched around on his State ID. All of my fathers other documents including his Medicare and Medi-cal card were all accurate and reflected his name as did his state id. They then said they didn’t like that his state id was expired. Yet all of his other documents were up to date. We haven’t taken him to the DMV because of COVID. She said can’t you go to the DMV. I said well we are in the middle of a pandemic hence why you say we can’t come into your business right? They treated us so awful:( I felt bad for my dad. We called his dentist and let them know how we were being treated. They were not happy about it. Anyway avoid this office . I felt like that were judging us because of our skin color honestly. I have never felt that way before by anyone until today. My dad has Parkinson’s disease and was made to stand outside this whole time. Horrible experience. For me to take the time to write a review speaks volumes because I am not one who usually writes reviews.

I just got my wisdom teeth out and I can say that the procedure went super smooth. I got the gas which was extra but it definitely helped relax me. Dr. Haider and Crystal were the ones in the room with me and were very nice and respectful. If I could get another wisdom teeth removal I would go here.

Worst experience in my life. They are rude and horrible every time I go there and not just me have heard that from family and friends wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there. Very happy and satisfied customer. I had 2 root canals, 2 crowns and 1 surgery preformed here. The office staff is super friendly and on top of it, all are very professional! The equipment is top notch and the latest the industry has to offer. I highly recommend Dr. Ness, Dr. Camhi, Dr. Driver and Dr. Bastien. I appreciate you all so much. Keep up the great work. This review is directly at the Dentist this facility uses for tooth extractions & not the facility alone. Appreciate your time reviewing this letter & know it may be a bit late in the process but the incident has always frustrated me ever since & would like this Dentist by the name of Stephen Needle; recognized for his negativity & the pain inducing service in which could have hospitalized me on a serious note. On July 26, 2014 Ive been submitted for a tooth extraction(D7210/7140) & been informed that a specialist was to take over on this procedure. I will keep this short & as straightforward, upon entering the building I was greeted by this individual that was quite friendly at first. Gently laid upon a platform to begin the procedure(s). After being injected with a pain killing drug into my gum area, he began his extraction. After taking out a few pieces of my tooth(#30) it seemed as if he was starting to get a bit upset & breathing a bit heavier, assuming maybe it was a difficult procedure which was taking a bit longer than expected. He did inform me to raise my hand if any pain is experienced in which I did raise it once towards the very beginning of the process & he let go for a minute but after that it seemed to escalate very quickly. Mr. Needle attempted to go deeper & have me open my mouth even wider, to the point of where my jaw muscles began to hurt but I attempted to just hold the pain, it was to the point where he began going even deeper & seemed to be so furious that he didnt even notice my hand up or simply did not want to. I believe his emotions took over & the frustration of not being able to remove the tooth. At this stage my jaw muscles began losing strength but I held on as hard as I can & squeezing my eyes from this pain, thinking he might just break my jaw today. Assuming the nurse did manage to notice my mouth wider than average & quickly jumped in to place her fist below my chin, being about seconds before me simply not being able to hold my jaw as my muscles were at peak of giving up. He would have snapped my jawbone pushing up against it for his sake if any later but immediately after pulling the tooth, I couldnt close my mouth! It was was locked & I was very frightful for about 20 seconds until I slowly wiggled my jaw side to side & managed to unlock it, Mr. Needle simply smirking & telling me you can close your mouth now. Luckily I didnt faint from this awful & torturing service that I survived only with my ability. Ive never gone through a dental procedure like this before & never really thought about making a complaint, simply not my thing but this time I would. Thank you staff & Doctor =) It was a great experience for me today to come to Crown Dental for my 1st appointment to get a wisdom tooth removed, I thought I was going to pass out...LOL.. cause I hate to come to any dentist place, When they did X-ray on me last month ago I was shock that I have 3 root canal & 1 wisdom tooth they were being honest to tell me but when I went to Western dental they told me I only have 2 root canal but then when I switch over to Crown Dental & told me I need 3 root canal thats even better I know Im not gonna like the surgery & deep cleaning & all that but that made me realize that the more you come to a good dental place like Crown Dental I would never have to deal with a lot of problems with my teeth. I will see you guys back Crown Dental after my tooth get healed from surgery today so we can get this 3 root canal taking care of =) Awesome job everyone & Thank you guys so much for taking good care of me today =) Have a great weekend!!!

So i came in today as usual, normal appointment. The place is amazingly beautiful and its very comfortable! The receptionists are very sweet and kind. I am a very anxious person and i dont like coming to the dentist but everyone there were super kind and thoughtful. I am supposed to come back to get my wisdom teeth pulled out, i am a bit scared about the whole thing but i feel comfortable knowing that i made the right choice coming here!

Had an appointment but waited over an hour to be called in. Then had to do xrays of entire mouth. Was then taken in and seen by a dentist who then screened you to see which dentist you were to be seen. The girl then told me they were completely booked and I would have to come back. Out to the waiting room I went. Then they called me back as all of a sudden they had a cancellation. Upon leaving I was told my copay was 38.00 my insurance requires no copay. So I was not treated well at this clinic and would not go back nor would I recommend

The following is a review/description of my experience with Dr. Soto of Crown Dental Group on December 28, 2017.Beware of Dr. Soto at this location!The hygienist was nice enough here, got me settled and made some small talk, the dentist sauntered in shortly after.I say the dentist because Dr. Soto did not introduce herself or in any way treat me like a person. She strapped on her mask, made sure the water blaster was working, and began the worst dental experience of my life.This was my third - and final - visit to this location; my other two regularly-scheduled 6-month cleanings were uneventful and relatively pain-free. Not so this time. Dr. Soto aggressively attacked my teeth with the water tool, being very careful to not pay any attention to my repeated flinching when would hit my gums. She was so careful to not pay attention to the pain she was causing that she began chatting with the hygienist about her upcoming vacation while continuing to hurt me! Very unprofessional. At one point, the water tool ran out of water so the hygienist left the room to fetch more-- the problem was that she and Dr. Soto left me with a mouth full of fluid!After the hygienist returned I stopped them to ask that they not discuss vacations while working as the dentist was being distracted by it and hurting me. They agreed and continued, though without an apology from Dr. Soto. The pain continued with the cleaning until I could no longer tolerate it.I stopped the procedure because of the pain, saying I was done. Only then was I offered anesthetic, and still with an apology only from the hygienist! They shot me up and continued the cleaning. I could still feel it and the result 4 hours later was swollen, damaged, sensitive, and painful gums.At the end Soto strolled out without an apology or any care for my well-being. In 27 years I have never needed anesthetic for a cleaning before & never even had a filling. I have never been treated this badly by a dentist & Soto should have her license revoked!

If i could give less stars i would. They are very rude, unorganized and definitely not ethical. I wont speak on my experience because it was traumatizing but I would never go here for anything.

I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled out and I was super nervous because I was not going to be put asleep! I ended up buying the laughing gas they recommended to relax me and it was so worth it! The whole thing felt like a weird dream. They always made sure I was comfortable and doing well. I highly recommend the laughing gas if your insurance doesn’t cover being put to sleep, you’ll feel pressure and pulling, but it does not hurt at all! Bring headphones to listen to music and it’s smooth sailing.

Came in for an appointment I already waited 2 weeks for, was greeted by 2 Receptionist. 1st one to greet me was very nice said good morning and give me a minute. Then I was helped by another receptionist who asked me for my insurance card, ID and Referral. She then proceed to tell me that since my ID name and Insurance card does not match they cant see me. My legal name is Angela but Ive used Angie since I was 16 years old. I have opened bank accounts, bought car and traveled with this ID with no issue using Angela or Angie. The receptionist proceeds to tell that they cant see me and I have to go get another insurance card with Angie not Angela. I told her Angie and Angela are the same name also my Social Security number and DOB are on the insurance card. She says how do I know that this is you..... I said so your telling me that I am using another persons insurance she said yes this could be another person. With the same social security and DOB...UMMMMMMM yea sure. So I call my insurance because I am in pain my tooth needs fixed. The lady on the phone from my insurance company asks me By any chance is the from Crown Dental. I said Yes, she then proceeded to tell me how horrible they are and how so many people have so many problems with them and then said I will give you numbers for Different Dentist because Crown Dental is Horrible!!!!! STAY AWAY if they are this incompetent at the front desk can you image the back office.... I have never had issues like this before in my life..... Horrible Customer service front desk very unprofessional!

I went in yesterday for a cleaning and fillings, I didnt catch the dental assistants name, she has blonde hair & colored eyes. Shes AMAZING! very nice and gentle. She even walked out to the front after my treatment to say goodbye. Talk about going the extra mile. I would recommend this place to others because of her.

When I first heard about Crown Dental I thought the name was just a cute play on Dental words. It wasnt until I actually went there and they treated me like a king that I truly understood why they chose that name.

Why make a scheduled if they arent read to see you at the scheduled time. If I was late or no show the would charge me $50 fee, we need to charge them a fee for being late. Hopefully wont have to come back here again. Who wants to be here at 7:30 am on a Saturday if not need be.

They took me off my 4 wisdom teeth and everything was Ok, I didnt feel like it was a surgery. Really recommend this place!

Best dental experience I have ever had. Had to get 3 Wisdom teeth removed and was nervous due to a previous dental visit to a different office to remove a wisdom tooth. They were all super sweet and understanding. The nurse Amanda stayed with me as I waited for the numbness to kick and and kept my mind off everything. The doctor herself was sweet and talked me through everything. The anesthesiologist was very thorough and was super sweet and apologized every time I winced. Would definitely recommend!!!! Thank you guys so much for showing me there are good dental practices out there!!!!!

The perseverance and determination of Dr. Ness at Crown Dental in National City to find and relieve the pain and discomfort I have been experiencing in an upper molar has been simply exceptional and beyond appreciated. If it werent for his fierce resolve to get a satisfactory resolution to my problematic tooth, I would likely have had to take a more drastic and far, far less desirable path to relieving the pain and sensitivity. I am so, so grateful to Dr. Ness for all of the skill, effort and time which he has devoted to obtaining this outcome. There really are no words that can adequately relate the true level of my appreciation, but a huge thank you to Dr. Ness, and a very kind thanks to each and every one of his very caring and considerate staff for everything that he and they have accomplished in my behalf. It truly has been a wonderful privilege to have been in his and their care. Amazing!

Robert Camhi was very rude! It was close to closing time and I was one of the last patients there. It seemed like he didnt want to be there and and was in a rush to answer my questions. The receptionist however were very polite reason for two stars.

Maynard went out of his way to help insure that my treatment was handled in a speedy manner and with utmost care. The staff are friendly and clients are treated with respect.

Treated me right. Most of all, They are doing it right. Let me tell you from experience, I had work done and supposed bone grafting and not until I experienced the procedure here did I realise I was getting nothing for my money before. I am blown away by how much detail and care is going into rebuilding my smile. You get what you pay for but at Crown, I believe Im still getting more. Best in So Cal in my opinion. Thanks Dr. Ness!!

Overall my visit was fine. I just takes way too long for each visit. They keep saying theyre working on improving speed but after 2 years I havent seen any difference. It still takes 2 hours for each visit, even just a general cleaning and exam which should take 45min tops.The last time I was there the hygienist kept talking and talking and talking. She kept pausing during the cleaning to try and make small talk and didnt seem to get the clue that I wasnt interested in talking at all. Just clean the teeth, take the x-rays, yell at me for not flossing enough and send me on my way

Worst Dental Clinic ever. I went there walk in for me them to check how much will i spend for the partial denture. It took me 4 hours waiting (which i understand because i do walk ins) but before i put myself in their waiting list, i make sure that my insurance will be covered. So, this how it start.At first, the receptionist told me that i am not covered, and i keep insisting that my insurance is really covered because i called my provider ahead of time to make sure everything is okay for my visit. I told them that they should check and verify my info thouroughly, and call my insurance to verify it. But because theyre so helpful, they sent me out and told me that i am the one that need to call the insurance and verify my coverage. ( jesus christ!!! This is really impossible and to the point that i feel humiliated because people think i dont really have an insurance as per the receptionist yelled it out to everyone), but im still cool by that time because i want this to be done. So i called my insurance, and of course they confirm it, and told them that the clinic doesnt want to entertain me because they havent verified my info. So, my insurance got pissed and they contacted the clinic. After 30 minutes of discussion, i went back to the clinic and they entertain me. And thats the start of 4 hours waiting. Tik tok tik tokMoving forward, as usual, they do the examine and xray, and gave me a 1 minute discussion on how my procedures gonna work. By the time i asked how much it will cost me, they told me that they dont have the price and their just gonna call me. So, basically i did not received the service that i wanted. I only want to know how much it will cost me and what kind of the procedures they will do. But the 1 minute of there time is very precious and i havent get a chance to explain and asked. They just stop talkinv to me after that.2 weeks after, i called and do the follow up. They told me that i just need to wait for them to call me because they dont have the price yet.2 weeks after i called, i dialed them again, and same answer as it is in the first call. I called them again week by week for me to know whats really happening. But they only put me on the voice mail, and the receptionist on the phone told me to wait their call.Its been 4 months now since the check up, and havent heard anything from them. 😑😑They should just told me that they dont really want to do business with me, so i can moved on and find a new clinic. For this reason, i want to take a legal action. I just hope this business will be closed so that no one will ever be violated and humiliated in front of the people and experience a poor service.

This place is a joke! My daughter had a toothache & was taken in to be seen. They got xrays & told her she needed a root canal. They scheduled a 2nd appointment for her to come back so they can medicate her tooth & kill the pain until the insurance authorized the root call. She was brought back the 2nd time & can you believe all the doctor did was look at the tooth AGAIN & said she will need to come back later because the doctor was running behind & did not have time to treat my daughter. As i recall this was an appointment she was not a stand by & yet she was still pushed out just because the doctor was running behind!!! This place is ridiculous!!!!

As a coward, I find it hard to go to the dentist. I finally did after hearing about this place after a 5 year dental absence. I was expecting serious amounts of thooth-shaming, 2000 cavities, 5 root canals, and hours and hours of painful procedures. Imagine my surprise when everybody was super nice and the doctor was amazing. I did end up needing a root canal (or RTC as its known in the biz [code so people dont get freaked out]), but it was literally painless. I sat in a chair with my mouth open for 20 minutes, listened to some podcasts while some vibratey thing was put in my mouth. Done deal.Could not have been happier, will definitely go again, probably sooner than 5 years from now.

Wait time is rediculus. After waiting 2 months for my appointment which i had at 3pm. I had to wait for 2 hours just to get called in for X-rays. Ended up being a 3 hour visit for X-rays. Find another dentist
