Needed some trees removed in the property. Reached out to various companies for quotes. B&R was persistent in getting my business, and the sales pitch & pricing was good, so I went with them. They contacted me on a day where they had a cancellation of another job, so they were able to do the work sooner than expected - great!The work itself was great. All went as planned.The payment of the work, well, thats a different story. The front desk employee called me for payment the moment the on-site crew was done. Literally, minutes after they cleared out. I had not even had a chance to look at the work as I was still working myself, it was dark outside by this time, and I was otherwise indisposed. I told the person who called me that I would look at the work tomorrow in the daylight, and would call back to pay then.I received a call back from the owner demanding & threatening that I pay immediately, as services were performed and completed. So much to the point that he argued & accused me that I was trying to get out of paying the bill, all because I wanted to see the work that was done (the next day in daylight), and didnt want to hear that I was still working myself or otherwise indisposed. He continued on ranting about the millions of dollars of equipment that was used for the job (this is important to me why?) and that I wanted the work done that day (no, your company called me to ask if I wanted the work done sooner because you had a cancellation).Since I didnt want this guy (owner) acting any more ridiculous, I dropped everything that I was doing and checked out the work. All was satisfactory. I then wrote out a check for the balance, and handed it to his employee who was told to wait outside my door until he received payment! What kind of company is this?!Had I been told that payment was due immediately upon work being completed, I would have absolutely been ready for the phone call to pay. However, none of this was communicated to me up front, so I wasnt ready to deal with the antics. This is a fair result of their actions.I will absolutely never use this company again or recommend them. The owner is hostile, threatening, and demands to be paid. No way to do business or treat your customers, and certainly no way to get a recommendation or positive review.Advice to the owner: Make it absolutely clear, verbally, to your customers that payment is due immediately upon services completed. Then you wont have to get on a phone call with your customers and verbally abuse them.

We had a great experience with B & R tree service. They were very easy to work with and did a great job. When the work was done they took the time to make sure that the area was all cleaned up. Bernie was meticulous in pruning our weeping cherry tree. We were so pleased with how the tree turned out (see attached photos of before and after). We would definitely use them again.

B&R Tree did a phenomenal job of trimming and removal at my property. It was a big job but they got it done in a very timely manner, and were communicative the whole time. The owner himself was onsite supervising everything for most of the project, and everything came out exactly as we wanted. Would absolutely use again. 11/10.

Very artistic pruning and grooming job on some giant trees in our back yard by B& R. Tree Service . Expert crew did a phenomenal job using a crane and men up high in harnesses to lighten and make our trees more safe for us to enjoy . These guys know exactly what they are doing and I could not be more pleased with every aspect of my experience with real Arborists . I had sought multiple estimates before going with Bernie and his Tree Service . Highly recommend B&R for challenging tree work . Work that was difficult for me to imagine, B& R guys do daily .

From start to finish B&R Tree Service was A++. Very professional and great customer service!We just purchased a new home with many trees in the yard. Some had branches hanging over our roof and I was afraid we would have to take a few of them down. The Arborist, Bernie, was very knowledgeable and gave such good advice. The end goal was to save the trees and allow them to kind of co-exist with the house.On the day of Randy was in the bucket and did a great job. He really took his time and I felt our trees were safe in his hands!After the job everything was cleaned up perfectly.I would wholeheartedly recommend B&R Tree Service to anyone!

The person who came out to give a quote listened to my needs and concerns. The quote was reasonably priced. The work I needed done was small but the 2 man crew who came out was polite and careful. The thoughtful way they communicated was greatly appreciated. All of my questions were answered and my aging apple tree looks much healthier. I look forward to seeing her in the Spring.

No doubt quality and professionalism with B&R. I recently had over a dozen very large trees, some over 100 tall, and close to my house, removed by B&R. From the friendly estimate process with Bernie, the timely scheduling, to the work performance, I couldnt be more satisfied. The team led by Randy on site, were awesome, hardworking and professional. Their skill was evident in how they surgically took down huge branches which hung over the house without a single issue. The equipment is top notch and in excellent shape a clear indication of the care this company takes in its profession. Tree service is a risky business, and with the B&R team you can sit back and relax and still have money left over in your bank account to spend on and enjoy your new nicely transformed property.

Cutting down the trees was done professionally. Everything outside of that was not. They were not prompt with removing the trees that had been taken down. We elected to hire another company to remove the trees they had taken down rather than wait a week or more and have my grass further destroyed(a fact which the owner seemed indignant about). The yard was not cleaned up after they left and taking the trees down left large holes scattered around my yard. When we complained about the condition the yard was left in, the owner offered to come out and admitted they had overbooked themselves thus the reason for the long delay in scheduling the tree removal. When the owner did come out he was needlessly argumentative and churlish. He made claims like the yard was already like that despite pictures and video evidence to the contrary. Will not use again.

Actually Great Quality. When they finished, it was hard to find where the trees had been. The stump was cut almost at ground level. They swept beyond the area they worked in to leave an neat and clean area! The price was great and the crew were considerate, efficient, and friendly. I highly recommend B & R! A large pine tree fell on our house in November 2019 and B& R showed up the next day to remove the tree from the house and then the following day came and took the trees remains away. Very good fast service in an emergency. .

We had an emergency tree job that needed to be done immediately, bernie was the fastest, and easiest to talk to. I called 6 people, b&r was overwhelmingly the best choice for me personally.

They came out quickly to do the work, left the area clean and were very easy to work with.

B&R gave us the best price for removal of two very large trees that were very close to the house. They did an excellent job and cleaned up everything before they left.

Had a tree land on a shed in the storm a few weeks back. Came out next day after my call. Came to remove tree 3 days later. Very professional, worked with me on insurance settlement. Would hire again!
