Connell & Curley were wonderful to deal with when I was unhappy with my old business insurance. I tried finding insurance online, but could not be sure if the policies offered were adequate for my needs. Laura came out to my office and thoroughly reviewed my particular business needs. She found business insurance and workmans compensation policies that both give me good coverage and save on the premiums. Renewal was easy and there is always somebody knowledgeable to talk to. I had a very bad experience dealing with this agency, especially its agent, Jay Thomas. There were several instances where my husband and I were so frustrated and upset with his lack of response for our questions and concerns. It always took multiple calls and emails before we got an answer from him. We had our auto and home insurance with Hanover through his agency. To give some examples, one time Hanover Insurance charged me twice in a month and then another time, when we bought back our leased car after expiry of the lease, my husband specifically told him he wanted to keep the old plates after registration. But when we submitted the paperwork to RMV, we got a call from them asking us to pick up the new plates. My husband had to make another trip to RMV to pick up the new plates during the pandemic. This was after repeatedly telling him that we didn’t want to change the registration plates. And the list goes on. Finally I could not take it anymore and switched to a new insurance agency a couple of months ago but unfortunately had to deal with this agent again as premiums kept getting deducted from my checking account even after sending the cancellation letters to Hanover. Again it took multiple attempts before I got my refunds back. All in all, bad customer service!
