I wish there was another option. We make calls almost weekly and nothing ever seems to get resolved. 5 years of getting overpriced internet service that rarely works. and i took off of work today for a sparklight service call. it is now 4pm and i have lost a days worth of pay because of your 8am to 5pm timeframe.
Terrible customer service. If I had another option Id take it.
I pay 120 for a service thats supposed to be 200 mbs. Ill be lucky to hit 50 or even 5 some days. This is unacceptable and soon as anyone, and I mean ANYONE can provide something more reliable in my area, Im out. This isnt worth the hassle or the heartache. This is bar none the worst this company has ever been. The slogan used to be watch us make you smile. These days, I do nothing but frown.

ATROCIOUS......since the change from Cable One, the service has gone from 5 days a week subpar good to now every single day spotty service with multiple modem resets. $98 a month is a waste at this point, I lived in a different country before this and had better internet. Do not recommend
Easy and affordable
Horrific issues. Im so disgusted with the amount of money I pay. My service is out at least 2 times a week and they blame it on my modem/router. When I call, the automated message says we are experiening emergency outages in your area or are performing upgrades... Yea, right. My entire house runs off of internet AND I work fom home so Im completly stuck when the internet goes out. Im sick of the runaround. This rarely happend with Cable One. Since Sparklight took over, nothing but issues.
I hand cable one $175 a month for practically no reason. You have to take an entire day off work for a service call because their service only works about 30% of the time. Then you will be super lucky if whoever comes to fix it actually does anything except wonder around looking busy. Here I am after yet another service call staring at the blinking lights on a brand new modem and not getting the internet I pay way too much for. I am done.
There are several things wrong with how they handle business. I went into the office to return equipment because its the only way they will cancel your cable. Well they sent these 2 small boxes 2 years ago, that i did not ask for or even use. Okay, so fine I tell her I have no idea where the box is I never used it. Now, I did turn in all the equipment that I was actually using on my TV and asked her to cut off the cable. She said I need the other box, go home and look again, I said I have no idea where the other box is so what can I do. She said go home look all over again for it. I said ok, thanks. Unknown to me because she did NOT say she cant cancel cable, I left not thinking again about it. Then I get a full months bill for cable, so I call and the person I spoke with says, I see where you turned in your equipment this should be your last bill. If there is an over payment they will refund. I said great, so cable will be disconnected, he said no problem........well guess what I got ANOTHER stupid bill and its HIGHER than the last one. I am so angry I would love to disconnect my internet from them but sad to say they are the only game in town so I am stuck. I will however be back at cable one tomorrow and not with a smile. It has cost me an extra $120, and have not even watched cable. I TELL EVERYONE GET THE AMAZON FIRESTICK IT IS GREAT WE LOVE OURS.... to heck with cable TV......

Decent speeds, nothing compared to real cities but no other options. Speed caps, throttling, ip blocking,data caps...
Recently Cableone has been sending me letters stating Im over my data. Ive been a devoted customer for so many years . Nothing in my home has changed but the letters im recieving states if I dont increase my data they will do it for me. This made me feel so uncomfortable I turn off everything i can imagine that may use my data and I get a 3rd warning letter . I dont like being bullied into another data plan and its pretty sad when Im paying $178 monthly yet I cant enjoy my WiFi and cable. Im so dissapointed in Cableone.
Never had issues until recently. Getting different stories from techs. Known issue for 3 months or so yet not getting fixed but of course they still take my money. Giving them another day...if not fixed im gone. Service unusable anyway.

Getting through to customer service is impossible... because there isnt any....have no idea what channels are on my plan.. just keep getting put on hold.... terrible!!!
Poor customer service and extremely limited channel offerings. Very expensive as well. Poor overall .
I gave them a bad rating when they first changed from Cable One but the service is far, far better.
