Called and spent 40 minutes on phone regarding cash home purchase. Never once did l mention or did they listing the property. They tried to change the appointment time twice, then send out someone to list our home. I said this appointment was for a cash offer but not a listing. The realtor was embarrassed and confused as we were. Craig one of the partners was rude when she handed me the phone, story changed again stating the person that was supposed to come out regarding a cash offer had another appointment. He asked what needs to be done to your home, l said a couple of small things, he said oh it is good condition l said yes and he said we don’t buy houses in good condition. I was never asked what condition it was in in my 40 minute conversation about a cash offer. So extremely unprofessional! No apology NOTHING!

DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE! This so called company is preying on people and looking to make a quick dollar by any means necessary. First they came to look at the property and gave us a low ball offer. We informed them that everyone had to sign legally because we are all owners not just one person. They offered to purchase our home that is owned by 7 family members. I have siblings that have to sign off on the sale of the property. They are trying to say that we were legally obligated to sell our home to them because one of our siblings signed paperwork when the signatures of all siblings are required in order to sell the home. Everyone did not agree and therefore did not sign. We tried to call several times never got a response to inform them that we did not want to sell to them. Keep in mind the contract required 6 more signatures and never got a chance to read the contract that was drawn up before the home was seen. We do not have a copy of the contract and one was never mailed. So now they immediately retained an attorney and are demanding $15,000 from us in order to get out of the so called contract that was never binding! If it sounds too good to be true it is profesional CROOKS!

They worked on an extremely tight margin and made some concessions on their end to help me purchase another home cash. This is a lifeline to my family and I appreciate the genuine concern to help me achieve that goal while the other companies just smelled blood in the water. Highly recommend them. They were prompt to come out to view the home and gave me a very reasonable offer on the spot. My tenants were in process of buying home but had several hurdles so we had to put off finalizing the deal for several months. Seller Beware: Super nice yet super dishonest. They contacted me, I did not contact them. We had planned to rehab and resale or keep in inventory. Initial verbal agreement with due diligence to be done on their end (completely understood) then signed contract 2-13-20, then called 3-2-20 at 8:17 pm to tell me they werent buying and it was the last day for them to cancel. There is no way that 10 business days were between 2-13 and 3-2. It was business day 12 and they know that. It was a train wreck from the start that ended with finger pointing within the company. We buy and sell a lot of property and we will never deal with them again. I told them the honest thing to do is to purchase as agreed and focus on the future deals that might occur between us. Todays small gain through dishonesty negates the future profit from a business relationship. The advertising they will get from me will cost much more than what they potentially saved. It isnt about the small amount of money that we were to make by selling them the property, it was the time loss and project planning.

Our experience could not have went any smoother. Working with Ronnie and Lauren was a wonderful experience. BUYER BEWARE - Company does not honor their contracts. I signed a contract with this company, and was given a 60 day closing date. However, 12 hours before closing the company backed out on the agreement stating the virus was causing all home buying companies to cancel contracts. To the contrary, the next day I signed another contract with a competitor and successfully closed on the sale in 2 weeks.Everyone I dealt with at TN Homebuyers was courteous, polite and professional. However, that does not excuse not honoring a signed commitment and going back on their word. By waiting 60 days to close, and then find that the company doesnt care about honoring their agreements, caused me to lose thousands of dollars on the sale.

We signed sale contract in 3rd week of May, closed on house in 2nd week of August.We didn’t have any real problems, only a miscommunication regarding first closing date which was suppose to be 01 July, at first.Whitt Roby, his asst Wanda, the team they worked with were great. Ms Lauren was wonderfully helpful with the closing details and all that THAT entails. Toni was very helpful as well.We closed at Clarksville’s Tennessee Title office. They were nice, but we were there almost two hours because our sale had a quirk they had not encountered before.In our county we are allowed to prepay county taxes by automatic monthly withdrawals. When we got there, the sales contract had them withholding $204 MORE, like we had not paid in at all.This wasn’t anyone’s fault. No one had asked us the tax situation. We thought they had all the facts from investigation our property. They just assumed it was a certain way. We had to call our county trustee for them to send over verification of what had already been paid in towards the county taxes. The contract was corrected, brought back out, but it was STILL not correct. They took it back, we called our County Trustee’s office to verify our information, and they went and re-verified their information, then corrected the contract.When the lady presented us with the third version of the sale contract, it was finally correct.The sale money owed us was wired later that day. We left sale office at 10:50am and the wire transfer arrived later that day, at in our account at 3:10pm.Would we do it over again? Yes.Would we use TN Home Buyers again? YesDo we have any advice to other sellers? Yes.ADVICE: If you own your own home and are mortgage free, make sure if you pay any property taxes in advance, that it is addressed BEFORE the closing date. We did not have a mortgage and we owned the property outright. We know a lot of other people people who prepay county property taxes. All of us own our own homes without any mortgages on them. To be told that being able to prepay our property taxes was highly unusual and never heard of before was surprising to us.It was taken care of, but threw ALL of us, including their own staff, way behind schedule. They apologized and said that this had been a good learning curve for them. They didn’t know this kind of program even existed. But, now they now to ask how the property taxes are paid in, when you don’t have a mortgage and own the property outright.Honestly, this would be a 5 star review if the staff had gotten the corrections ‘correct’ the first time they had to take the contract back and revise it.

My mothers house needed a lot of work in order to bring it up to date before it could be placed on the market to sell. She did not have the means to do this so we researched various companies that advertised with the promise of buying your house as is and for a fair price. I contacted TN Homebuyers, left a message, and an appointment was set up to meet with Ronnie. He arrived on time, thoroughly explained the process, toured the home and property, and sat down at the table to give my mother the offer for her house. The offer was definitely a fair price and the peace of mind she received that day was priceless. The entire process from start to finish was incredible and I have recommended this company to two other friends already.

I was disappointed. They sent multiple postcards to my home wanting to buy the home. They gave me an offer the first time, without even bothering to come and see it. And it was low. And then, the second time they contacted me by phone because they wondered if I was still interested in selling. So, when I gave them a second chance, there was a woman I spoke with who was very nice, helping me rearrange schedules to come out and see it. She was super nice, and treated me kindly. The second person that called me the following week, the day before they were to come up and finally look at it, told me that they probably wouldnt be my best choice. And told me to sell it myself. Heres the thing, if you cant pay me the respect to even see my house, stop calling me and sending postcards. I dont usually post reviews, and I know they have to make a profit; but they couldnt bother to come and see my house after sending multiple postcards. It just seems unprofessional to me.
