Im at the end of the 6 week challenge and I absolutely would recommend it to anyone. Im not the best at keeping with things but I found it easy to keep with this challenge. This is the first time Ive ever worked out 3+ times a week and felt full on a diet/nutrition plan! Im feeling and looking better than I have in years. My only wish would be that they added a later power class (or rotated power and push for the last class) as I can only easily attend the 6:15 class and its a struggle to make it to the 5:30 on time due to my work schedule. Otherwise ITF is great and my favorite gym Ive ever had a membership at.
I like how iron tribe is evolving but still maintaining who they are. Just coming back from having a baby, I very much enjoy the no pressure environment to come back at my own pace with modifications specific to me.
I can’t say enough of good things about this gym. I signed up under the 6 week challenge and loved it. I’m now about 2 months in and feel great! The coaches are helpful and encouraging and answer any question I have. The workout kick my butt but I leave feeling good every time. If you are looking for a gym that will keep you motivated and will support your goals in and out of the gym you should definitely give iron tribe a chance!
Iron tribe itself, is not just another gym where you sign up and it is a free for all with no accountability. Iron tribe offers an experience of accountability, teamwork, and has realistic goals for everyone. The atmosphere at Belmont is genuine, fun and competitive no matter what the workout is for that specific day. Not only are the workouts intentionally tough, they are designed in a way where individuals can modify movements based on their own level of skill and I think that is awesome. I would recommend Iron Tribe to just about anyone, it is great community to be a part of!
I had a life changing experience with Iron Tribe Belmont. All of the coaches were invested in my success, specifically my assigned coach Phil. He always held me accountable and pushed me to do better. Its not just workouts either - the nutritional insights Ive gained while being a member of this gym have changed my habits forever. Its all about education and fun at Iron Tribe. I couldnt have asked for anything better to get me out of my Quarantine slump! 1000/10 recommend.
“Stronger Together” is my favorite thing about Iron Tribe. A consistent group of people, fantastic coaches, different workouts every day plus lots of positive energy equals more than I could do alone!
Iron Tribe has changed, not only my body, but also impacted other disciplines in my life. I feel better than I have in over a decade and I am so grateful for the coaches and workouts that have helped me gain my health back. I have never felt stronger and it’s the best gift I have given to myself in the months prior to celebrating my 50th birthday.
I like that I see the same people almost every time. I like that I can work at my own pace and still push myself more than if I were working out alone. I like that I can visit other gyms in other cities and do the same workout as we would at home. I like that the coaches really explain things well and help us to have good form to prevent injuries.
I have always struggled to follow through with my workout goals/plans. It was an area of my life I just couldnt get a grip on - my physical health. Iron Tribe is exactly what Ive needed. I have zero complaints. I look forward to going and pushing myself and I know Ill be supported the entire way.
Irontribe is life changing! I just completed the 6 week challenge down 7.7% Body Fat and 12.7 pounds. Ive tried a lot of programs and never had results like this before. The coaches are wonderful and very thoughtful about challenging you individually and modifying for your specific needs. Im now signed on for a membership and look forward to all the progress Ill make.
I cannot say enough great things about Iron Tribe. I did a three week nutrition and workout routine and have never had so much success with a program in my life, and I have done several. In only three weeks, I lost 10% of my body weight and a couple inches in my waist. But the best part, it gave me the motivation to continue my fitness journey. This is only the beginning and I dont think I would have had the motivation to even start without these guys!
I did the 21 day challenge over the Rona shut down. Brittany educated me on everything I’d need to know to make a lifestyle change with foods, packing on muscle and what to eat. Simple and effective but definitely took some understanding. With her training I realized how fast I can get results. I lost 2 lbs of fat in 3 weeks! And packed on the same amount in muscle. I actually worked out less than I normally do and did it ALL at home. As a single mama and business owner time is critical. And there was no excuse to not put in 20-30 mins at home to get these crazy awesome results. I will definitely stick with it. Education is power, and was worth it.
These guys/gals rock! I signed up for the 6-week challenge. After 5 weeks in, the Rona came to town. Their encouragement, professionalism, and adaptive methods to train were spot on. I hit my goal (got refunded) and could not have done it without these fine ladies and gentleman. Thank you.
I highly recommended Iron Tribe. It is a life changing gym. They have wonderful trainers and a great community of people. I did the 6 week challenge and lost 7% body fat and 11 pounds during those 6 weeks. I’ve never felt more fit and stronger. They teach you the right way to eat and exercise so you gain muscle and lose fat quickly and in a healthy way. I’ve met so many success stories and the gym is full of positivity. 5 stars all around for Iron Tribe!!
Just finished up the 6-week Challenge and it was fantastic. Very challenging, but with hard work and lots of wonderful support and encouragement from my coach Jamie, the Tribe staff, and my family, I met my goal!I joined without hesitation, and try to do 2-3 workouts a week. I love the flexibility of several daily class options, and the app really is easy to use to schedule (or reschedule). And the classes are super fast - only 45 minutes, so Im in and out in no time. Its a great fitness community, and Ive enjoyed getting to know other Tribe members in the small classes.Highly recommend the Challenge to jumpstart a great fitness program!
I am always up for trying out new gyms and Iron Tribe Fitness (3201 Belmont Blvd, Nashville, TN) has by FAR been one of my favorites. I love the style of workout and class structure. There are so many variations of workouts, I have not repeated a class or a movement. One of my favorite aspects about Iron Tribe Fitness (3201 Belmont Blvd, Nashville, TN) is that the workout is posted through the mobile app ahead of time. The team at the Belmont location has been fantastic, very encouraging and engaged with each member of the gym. I would recommend everyone go out and try this workout at Iron Tribe Fitness (3201 Belmont Blvd, Nashville, TN)!!
Yay! I successfully completed the 6-week Challenge and lost 7.1% body fat. The diet was easy to follow and I never felt hungry. It isnt one of those places where you feel self conscious or embarrassed if you arent in great shape or cant keep up with everyone else. Classes were tough but fun. Sometimes I went to Belmont and sometimes to Belle Meade. Everyone at both locations is super friendly and supportive. The trainers are the best. Very upbeat, motivating, helpful with modifications for those of us who couldn’t do certain things, always cheering us on. The six weeks went by fast. I highly recommend Iron Tribe if you need to get rid of your spare tire, or want to tone up, or just want to work out with a great group of people. 3-2-1-TRIBE!
Working out is hard. Getting back in shape is hard. From the start, I have felt welcome at Iron Tribe Belmont. When I first started, I could barely do any of the exercises. The coaches were with me every step of the way! They modified workouts to my level, celebrated my successes (even the really little ones), and really got to know me.I have lost 25 pounds since joining Iron Tribe Belmont, but I have gained so much. I have gained self-confidence. I have gained a new sense of balance. I have gained the ability to run and jump and move in ways I didnt know I could. I have gained a new girl gang who I work out with in the early mornings and who inspire me every day. My fitness journey is far from over, but I have Iron Tribe and the wonderful coaches who will guide me every step of the way.
This is hands down one of the best overall fitness experiences I have ever had. The coaches and staff take the time to properly instruct on each of the movements and ensure that all is done safely and correctly for maximum effectiveness. The structure of the class offers a variety of fitness levels to get a challenging workout regardless of your current physical condition. Before entering into regular classes, attendees go through a very thorough 101 course in which each of the basic movements and exercises are taught. These classes also involve very helpful guidance and insight on other topics such as diet, stretching, and goals. Over my 4 week 101 course, I lost 22 pounds of fat and also gained several pounds of muscle. I also saw amazing changes in my overall physical condition and still continue to do so now in the regular classes.I also enjoy the IT approach on community - both in the class setting and also on a greater scale. The classes are in very much a supportive setting and the sense of togetherness is strong. IT is also involved in local and global projects, which further promote the sense of community seen in the class setting. All in all, I think that IT offers a very ideal program for both fitness veterans as well as someone who has never set foot into anything like this. Regardless of current condition, an individual can and will see positive results quickly!
I had a great experience with the 6 week challenge at Iron Tribe Fitness! The results that I achieved in a short amount of time are quite honestly overwhelming. I recommend this program to anyone who is wanting to make a lifestyle change.
I have LOVED my experience at Iron Tribe so far! I am amazed at the individualized and encouraging coaching. Their commitment to their craft and to helping me accomplish my fitness goals is inspiring. I have never felt more at home with a fitness routine, and I feel consistently welcomed at Iron Tribe. I love that the competitive atmosphere is primarily framed as competing with yourself rather than competing with others, and I never feel intimidated by the exercises, as I know I can always ask for how to scale them. I always walk away feeling like I accomplished something big, and the coaches strike a great balance between celebrating our accomplishments and pushing us to be even better. Thanks for your constant support, Tribe! I cannot wait to continue getting stronger and faster!
This is my first ever online review as I do not typically take the time to do this but my experience at Iron Tribe warranted it! I joined nearly two years ago now with the first class at the Belmont location when it opened. I am 42 now and have tried many different fitness routines over the years. I can say unequivocally that the Iron Tribe programming is the best return on my investment of time and money towards my overall fitness of any I have tried. The classes are challenging and a ton of fun. The camaraderie among the coaches and other members is genuine and fulfilling. I would highly recommend Iron Tribe to anyone regardless of their age or initial fitness level. The system works and results are fast!
I started the team challenge thing they do about five weeks ago. The workouts are tough, but fun, the coaches are cool and very helpful. They do a good job ensuring your form is safe. I was curious if scheduling the classes for the times available would be difficult, but in the end it has been very easy. I came in pretty skeptical, but after a month or so definitely see it as an exceptional product and service.
I started working out with the Iron Tribe 9 weeks after my daughter was born. At that time, their workouts and support system were exactly what I needed to sustain that healthy balance in my life. I still feel that way one year later.Through the Tribe workouts and instruction, I have incorporated weight training back into the mix. (Let’s face it, I had not hit the weights since playing sports in college and I could barely lift the bar over my head in that first class) I am still learning that proper form and positioning make all the difference.Thank you to the Belmont coaches. Your dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence every minute is a game changer for me. You are awesome at what you do. I hope you know that you make an impact every day. How many people get to say that?To the person reading this: make the time, you will not regret it.
Joining Iron Tribe has been one of the best and most rewarding decisions of my life. I would absolutely recommend Iron Tribe Belmont to anyone who is ready to get in the best shape of their lives and have fun doing it! The coaches are amazing. Unlike other gyms theyre attentive, care about your goals and have the knowledge to help you reach them. This is more than just a gym. It honestly becomes your family!
My friend convinced me to do a 6 week challenge at Iron Tribe and Im so glad I did! I feel so much stronger and fitter than I did going into it. The workouts are challenging but I always left feeling like I did better than the day before. Plus the coaches and other members are so supportive and fun! Highly recommend!
I joined Iron Tribe a couple of months ago and have already seen changes. Im stronger and can do more than I ever thought possible. Whats great is everyone is welcome here and every workout is fun yet challenging. Honestly cant imagine a better place to get healthy and fit as I start the next stage of my life. Heres to being hot and fit at 45!
Each workout pushes me all the way to the edge of my strength and stamina... and then its over! Seriously. I feel like a damn champion every time I leave the gym. The trainers have their eyes on you the whole time, and theyll catch you and correct if youre doing something that could be done better. Because Im seeing such great results with my training, Im also more motivated than ever to eat really clean, healthy, wholesome food. There are no strict diet guidelines, but my body knows it needs protein and healthy fats and so thats what Im craving. I feel strong and healthy and mentally clear. Im hooked.
I have been going to IT Belmont nearly every day for almost 2 years now and LOVE IT. I was looking for a gym that would also provide a community feel. IRON TRIBE has provided me exactly that. The coaches and other members have become my second family – actually my first one since all my family doesn’t live here - and attending a workout at IT is easily the best part of my day. Joining Iron Tribe has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life!. If in Nashville or just visiting, you must come to Iron Tribe Belmont, you will love it!
Iron Tribe is awesome! I have been a member now since January and its become my favorite way to start my day. The couches bring their knowledge and energy and are always there to provide guidance to ensure property moments. My favorite thing is that the gym is truly welcoming to all, mothers, fathers, college students any and all! Thank you to the entire Iron Tribe Belmont Team!
My wife and I have been enthusiastic members of Iron Tribe Fitness since we joined in July, 2015.From the first visit we had with Renee to go over our goals to the workout we completed last night with Coach Anna, our experience has been nothing by very positive. The coaches are knowledgeable, respectful and professional. They have challenged and motivated us to improve and meet our goals. The classes are made up of a wide variety of people who are friendly, encouraging and engaging.Classes are small (
I have never felt so much encouragement in a workout class until now. I can see and feel a major improvement in my body. I really love the coaches, the location and the workouts. I actually look forward to working out now and it’s the best feeling!!
I am in my second week of the 6 Week Challenge. You Think No Drinking, No Smoking, No Fast Food would suck and be hard but its not. I am writing this review for the guy or girl that thinks they cant do it. I smoked and drank for 16 years. If i can make it through a class so can you. The coaches are awesome, responsive, they may look like they came out of a damn J-Crew Catalog, but they genuinely want to help you be better. The first week sucked but already I have more clarity and energy than I have had in a very long time. VIVA LE Iron Tribe!!!!Big Thanks to Simon, CADE (My recommendation for a coach), Ruth, Josh and Brittany for this opportunity
I cant say enough about the system and people at Iron Tribe Fitness. I worked out at other facilities on my own for years with average to no results. Basically, I was stuck in a bad routine and not pushing myself. I also tried the home video workouts that I couldnt stay committed to. Not saying that the above does not work for some but it wasnt for me.I had a friend mention that I should just try the 101 classes and see what its like. I got hooked and actually saw results just after 4 weeks of classes. And after one year of just showing up and doing what the Iron Tribe system asks, Im down 7% body fat, have dropped about 9lb and gained several pounds of muscle which honestly has changed my lifestyle and health for the long term. Im in the best shape of my life and Im in my mid 40s.I will say this too... Not only does the system offer a proven method of getting healthy, its a fantastic community of trainers & fellow members that encourage and push you along which I needed. There are so many great success stories and friendships are made here. If you think you cant, YOU CAN! 10 STARS!
Never have really been a big workout person but have really enjoyed the last eight months at Iron Tribe Belmont. Great coaches in the sense they are good people and are committed to the Iron Tribe culture. Good program for me as well as it gets a great workout in a short amount of time. Weekend workouts go a little longer (and are therefore tougher) for those interested in pushing themselves. It has been 25 years since I have been in this kind of shape.
A friend convinced me to sign up for a 6-week challenge offered by Iron Tribe Belmont. For 6 weeks, challenge participants receive free classes and learn how to work out properly. Ill admit that I was very skeptical at first. I figured Id take some of the free classes and then be done with it. Man, was I wrong. Ive become addicted to the intense nature of the classes, and I love the coaches approachable styles and their passion for helping the students improve. I have seen increases in muscle mass and decreases in fat quickly. I intend to sign up as a full member after my free challenge ends and encourage others to do the same.
I want to take a moment to share my experience and to thank all the coaches at Iron Tribe Fitness - Belmont! The workouts have been high intensity, full of variety, and always challenging.Every single one of the coaches have been attentive and encouraging. In every class they are constantly making sure you are doing correct form to avoid any injuries while enthusiastically cheering you on every step of the way!Overall, I couldn’t be more happy with my time at this gym… working out is entirely more efficient and FUN at Iron Tribe.
I dont think I can write anything that will reflect how wonderful this gym/community is. I thought I was joining a gym to get in shape and what happened was I joined a community that pulls me up when I am down and brings out the best in me. I have never been part of such an encouraging group of people that truly want to see me and everyone else succeed. The coaches and the member keep me coming back. They want to see me get stronger and better. This isnt a gym full of mirrors, in fact there are none. This takes out so many aspect of gyms that i do not like. What it add is communication with the coaches to describe how to do movements and a focus on the inside, what can you do or challenge yourself to do. It strips the facade and creates a real atmosphere when people dont care about looks and whats one the outside and strive to improve and connect on the inside. There are benefits on so many levels and the transformation happens from the inside out.
Joining Iron Tribe was truly one of the best decisions I could have ever made, even though it took me about 4 months to muster up courage to join. Before starting ITF, I had little to no experience with lifting weights, so I walked into the gym not knowing what to expect. From my very first meeting with Renee and going to Try the Tribe, I knew this was going to be am amazing experience! All the coaches are so encouraging and willing to work with each individual on their specific needs. Iron Tribe is not only my gym, but it has become my community. I have met so many new people and have created many new relationships in the past year at Iron Tribe, and because of that, those friends have now become like family. If I can do, so can you!!
I’ve been putting off getting in the type of shape I used to be in when I played lacrosse and Iron Tribe has helped me start that journey again! It’s definitely not easy and I’ve said all sorts of swear words in my head during these workouts, but they’ve given me all the tools and encouragement to succeed! Whenever I walk out of class I’m happy and thankful I did it. It’s not just a gym for “athletes” though, it’s a gym for everyone and that’s what I love about it. Thanks for whipping me into shape Iron Tribe!
In my 18 months at ITF, Ive lost just under 4% body fat and gained about 5 pounds of muscle, with about five pounds of gain in total body weight. But its not all about gains and losses; its also about gaining strength through functional fitness. Since starting, Ive gone from barely completing three strict pull-ups to confidently completing bar muscle ups.Hats off to the coaching staff for their expertise and dedication. From nutrition coaching, to two coaches in every class, which are all capped at 20, to the community at the gym, I highly recommend checking them out.
Iron Tribe is is a great gym, but it is really so much more than just a gym. Its a community.Ive been a member of Iron Tribe for almost 2 years now and I can honestly say that I would not have been able to achieve the goals that I have set for myself if I were not a member here. From the personalized instruction; to motivation in class (or even motivating me to show up); to meeting me outside of class time to work with me one on one, the coaches at Iron Tribe have helped me work towards being the best that I can be. In addition to great coaches, the other members also help push me to be better every day in every workout.Outside of the fitness aspect, there is a true sense of community among the members and coaches. It may sound cliche, but they really do feel like my gym family. There is always lots of laughter and fun, but also lots of encouragement and compassion as we all face challenges both inside and outside the gym.I highly recommend Iron Tribe to anyone who is looking to be the best they can possibly be.
Im not one to typically post like this, but as part of a 6-week challenge at Iron Tribe, I am compelled to do so.After almost a year of listening to my friend talk about his experience at Iron Tribe, and a friend, Melinda Snader winning a 6-week challenge, I decided to finally give it a try.For the past 4 weeks Ive been participating in a fitness challenge with Iron Tribe Fitness. It require an In Body measurement, 3X weekly or more workouts, and monitoring my nutrition. Even after 4 weeks Ive noticed a huge difference in my strength and muscle tone. I am a consistent gym-goer, yoga practitioner, and runner, and I havent seem this much of an impact this fast with anything Ive done. The coaches (2 per class!) are supportive, kind, and helpful, and the community is awesome.
I always hated exercising until I joined Iron Tribe! But with their always new and different workouts, Im constantly challenged, never bored, and always wanting to get to the gym more!I started Iron Tribe after I had my 3rd baby, initially as a 4 month kick start program to lose baby weight and get fit, to then continue on my own elsewhere. I called it my 4 month sentence. Well, fast forward almost 2 years later and Im completely hooked! Im stronger than Ive ever been, I feel fantastic, and Ive gotten to know some really great people. Its an amazing atmosphere to get fit in- a little competitive, a LOT encouraging, and very thoughtful instruction.
After driving past Iron Tribe on Belmont for a few weeks I finally called to make an appointment. I signed up for the 2nd 101 class at the Belmont location and was so nervous. After the 1st class I knew this was for me. I still like to run but I love adding the strength training to my workouts. The workouts are tough but I have never left there wishing I had not just completed the workout! I am so much stronger than when I started and it is so fun to be able to lift and move things I used to ask my boys to move for me! There is such a variety of people that come to the classes. In here you are able to just be you! The coaches genuinely care about the athletes and help to hold you accountable!
Great fitness option.I came into Iron Tribe in good shape. I had been training 4 times a week with a trainer for 3 years.I was skeptical about group fitness and a CrossFit style workout as I thought it was unsafe. And I wondered if this type of training, would it do anything for me?It is incredibly structured and safe, you are watched and corrected by two coaches in each class. It transformed my body in ways I could have never imagined and I loved the group aspect of it.You go in and you get a quality workout in 45 minutes. You meet great people that support and encourage you.Iron Tribe is great!
A wonderful clean place to check out mentally and engage in fun physical exercise for all skill levels. The coaches pay attention to detail. I recommend giving it a try no matter your age, physical fitness or personality.
I was new to Nashville when I joined Iron Tribe. I immediately felt like I was a part of the community. The workouts are quick and intense. It has definitely been one of the best decisions Ive made since moving to Nashville. Cant speak highly enough of the coaches.
The thing that brought me into Iron Tribe was the coaching staff and the programming. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, very passionate and nurture a culture like no other. For me the programming was just as important and this is where Iron Tribe really knocks it out of the park. With an array of class offerings throughout the day, power challenges, Saturday open gyms to help you develop new movements, monthly check-ins for performance eval/goal setting and excellent nutrition advice, Iron Tribe really offers a custom tailored fitness program that is unmatched.
I have belonged to various gyms and even had personal trainers, but I always felt that something was missing. Then I joined Iron Tribe and the coaches at Belmont are awesome. A big reason I enjoy Iron tribe so much is because of how awesome it is that the athletes embrace the community.
The way I look at it is - I only have one body so Im gonna take care of the one I have - and Iron Tribe Belmont has been the best place I have been able to find to do it. The workouts are fun and challenging and I havent been in this good of shape since I was 21 years old. Highly recommended!
Best decision I every made concerning my health and well being. Started about 3 years ago and found my way to the Belmont ITF after taking a new job downtown. Coaches are the best around and work extremely hard at helping us with our form and effort.
I love this gym. Everything about it is amazing - great coaches, great community, great results! Ive tried lots of things and this is the only thing that has consistently worked for me. The people here make the difference!
Iron Tribe Testimonial: I can honestly say I was not sure about Iron Tribe initially. The workouts looked challenging and I am the type of person that honestly if I am not going to be good at something right away I have a hard time committing. The 101 classes helped me get into the groove of the culture of Iron Tribe and after graduation I have LOVED being able to take the Push and Power classes. I cant believe we are getting these great workouts for free! This challenge has been a good push in the direction I want to take my fitness. #ITFBelmont (side note doing this for the bonus points in my challenge and my love for Iron Tribe)
I started this 6 week challenge with Iron Tribe not really knowing what I was getting myself into. I basically just knew that half of the girls in my small group would be doing it and thought it would be something fun to try out. Growing up playing soccer and being part of a team environment has always been something I have been accustomed to in the past. Once I graduated college group activities in a competitive nature started to get very few and far between and was definitely something I missed being a part of. I would have to say that since joining Iron Tribe the competitive team nature of the class structure and the coaches yelling at you with encouragement to make you work harder is what keeps me going back each class. Not only have I got a chance to meet new people who enjoy working out as I do, but also get to see people being dedicated to pushing themselves each day to improve. The coaches have all been knowledgeable and awesome despite the times I have caused a ruckus over how the reps were counted or messed up the team cheer at the end of the class. I enjoy being a part of this challenge to see results in muscle strength, body fat percentage and body weight and I like that each day is something different. I truly think it has been a great way to start my day (despite the fact that I had to be up earlier than the sun occasionally) and I would highly recommend coming and giving Iron Tribe your best shot.
I joined Iron Tribe almost a year ago and my only regret is not joining sooner. I was in decent shape going to the gym on my own, but Id lose focus from time to time and hardly give the amount of effort needed to achieve real results.Ive always struggled with gaining weight. Within the first 4-5 months of joining, I gained 10-15 pounds of muscle and was in the best shape of my life.
One year ago, my husband and I started in the November 101 class. I hadnt worked out in 5 months, I was 32% body fat, and I needed a plan. Iron Tribe is the most effective, efficient, encouraging gym I have ever been a part of...it works, yall! One year later, I am thrilled to say my body fat is now 12.4%. Come join us- you will not regret it!
Strength for Time...I see it written on the wall each time I go in the gym. Initially I just read it as a catchy tagline for the timed workouts designed to make you stronger. Yeah, they do that in 45 mins. But all of those 45 min workouts have added up to not only mental and physical strength, theyve also helped me realize the power of the community to empower and strengthen each other in all aspects of our lives. The experience isnt just contained in the walls of the gym. The time is minimal, the reward is exponential.
I got pregnant about a month after finishing the intro course but stayed with it 2-3 days a week through my entire pregnancy. Workouts were modified as I grew. I came back a month after baby & even bring my baby & toddler with me most days, 4-5 days a week. Im not one of those women who loose the baby weight easily from nursing or any other means, takes real tenacity on my part & I couldnt keep it up without my tribe. They say it takes a village to raise a child. I say it takes a village to loose the baby weight...seriously!!! The workouts arent hard, thats a negative word. They are positively challenging. You will become an athlete by competing with yourself & being encouraged by your team, your tribe. Its as much mental as it is physical & thats where your tribe really comes in! The coaches really will work with you & are always available for help with diet, workouts, form, food journals, whatever else! They even come to personal events to support you outside of class. This really is a community gym in the truest sense of the word. Ive only been back 3 mo. & have lost 20 of my 50 lbs. I dont know how long it will take to loose all of the baby weight, but I know I will because I will have the help & support I need to stick with it!!!! Best investment! Btw Moms, they also love on my kids😉👍
I am 53 with 3 children and 2 grandchildren. My daughter said to me “Mom I want you to get healthy so I can love you longer and I think Iron Tribe will help you.” I signed up for 101 and it changed my life. I have lost 38 pounds and 3 dress sizes since I began. I am lifting weights and getting strong, doing things I never dreamed possible. Everyone at Iron Tribe Belmont are so welcoming and encouraging. It doesn’t matter how young or old you are. I love Iron Tribe Belmont.
I have been a runner for the last 25 years but knew I needed to add weights at 45 years old! My running friend Carla urged me to give IT a try. One class and I was hooked! I joined a year ago and have become stronger and no longer feel the need to run 30 miles a week to stay in shape. I have drastically reduced my mileage but added 45 minute IT classes 3-4 times a week. By doing this, I have dropped 10 lbs and over 7% body fat! The best part is I have had FUN doing it!! Iron Tribe-Belmont is truly a community of coaches and friends that motivate and challenge each other daily.
Ill be honest, when my sister approached me and asked me to try Iron Tribe Fitness with her, I was anything but interested. I had been there, done that with weightlifting and group fitness classes and thought my normal exercise routine was keeping my body in *relatively* good shape. But after much convincing, I decided to give their 101 class a try.To my surprise, after only one month at Iron Tribe, I was completely hooked. I could feel my body getting physically stronger -- I could feel my mind starting to gain more confidence in myself; and I felt my heart starting to invest in the community I had nervously jumped into. Not only do I leave each class feeling like Ive pushed my body to its physical limit, but I leave thankful for the relationships that Ive built, for the community of athletes that encourage me to keep moving, to keep working, and to keep pushing towards my goals. It may sound silly to some, but Iron Tribe has truly transformed how I view and value my body. But most importantly, I love this gym because it has given me a community of people that have become closer than friends -- they really do feel like my family and I wouldnt trade that for the world.
Iron Tribe has changed my life for the better. Ive been most surprised by the community Ive found here. Its the best part of my day!
A friend from work asked me to try Iron Tribe Belmont. They were having a six week challenge and I have never been one to follow through with any type of challenge. This one hasnt been easy but it has been fun. Every one of the trainers at Iron Tribe Belmont are welcoming and encouraging. The workouts are quick but, some of the hardest workouts I have ever done. My favorite part might be the Inbody Test where you step on what looks like a scale and it breaks down your weight, muscle mass, body fat percentage, etc. We did this in the beginning, three weeks in and will do it at the end of the six week mark. Seeing the numbers shift even the slightest bit is really rewarding and keeps you going back. If you are thinking about trying Iron Tribe Belmont, I highly recommend it.💪👊
ITF kind of looks scary until you walk in. Then, when you walk in, its still a little intimidating b/c everyone seems to know each other. BUT, during the first class, I was made feel welcome and loved. Its nice to have a community that cares about fitness. My goals arent to lift 30 lb dumbells (Im good with 15 :) ), but I love the cardio I get in there (God knows I dont want to do it on my own) and mainly I love the mental release I get from the push and the friends who are in it with me.If you played sports and are used to a team mentality, youll love this. OH, and the barbells dont come out in the Push classes, so if youre thinking its too intense and manly (I did), there are classes for everyone. And, Jamie, Josh, Simon and Cade (the instructors) either care or fake it super well (I dont really care which). They take an interest in you making progress toward your goals.
Great experience with noticeable results. The workouts are challenging, all the instructors are very encouraging, and the members are very friendly! #itfbelmont
Ive never been one to write online reviews, but I have to say I love Iron Tribe Belmont, and I cant imagine not having the workouts here as part of my weekly routine. Its been over a year since my husband and I came to Try the Tribe at the invitation of our friend and neighbor Cindy, and since that first day weve been hooked. The people (both coaches and athletes) really MAKE this place. Theres no pressure to be like someone else, no judgement if you need to modify the workout, just encouragement, inspiration, and the proper instruction to help you reach your individual fitness goals. Thats a win in my book. Love my Tribe!
I highly recommend ITF! Its one of the best things Ive ever done for myself. Regardless of your fitness level (seriously) the workouts can be modified to suit you. The coaches are awesome and I have made great friends. I know how cliche that must sound, but youll just have to come in to the gym to understand what Im talking about. We truly are a community and I cant imagine not starting my days with a workout at ITF.
ITF Belmont is the place to be! I had heard about ITF for years, but never committed. I now know what I was missing! Simon, Josh, Cade, and Ruth are awesome, and they care about making each and every single person better that walks in the door. I completed the 6 week challenge, and I am going to be diving into a full membership. I will say, start with the 6 week challenge. BUT...you need to be 110% prepared for this journey. You will follow a strict diet, and if you are a social person (like every person in Nashville) you will need to learn to not drink alcohol or indulge for 6 weeks. It sounds easy, but the mental focus is the biggest part of completing this challenge. If you can do this, you WILL be successful. 10/10 for this gym!
ITF- BELMONT is a life changing experience. This is not just a place to sweat and burn some calories. It is a place where you can take your LIFE to the next level. Yes they have great facilities, great coaches, and great members.. the real game-changer is the community of ALL the passionate individuals who are dedicated to making the world a better place. It is addictive, rewarding, and most of all FUN! #WHYITRIBE
Amazing community. Coaches work very closely to ensure your fitness goals are achieved. Especially Austin...give him a call today. #whyitribe
Just two short months ago I was 30 pounds heavier and really unmotivated to do anything about it, when a buddy of mine asked me to do this 6 week Iron Tribe challenge thing. Needless to say I was in need of a swift kick in the rear to get motivated. Found that and so much more with #itfbelmont. Great community of athletes, positive motivation and training during each workout, and a feeling of accomplishment leaving the gym each day. Could not have wish for a better experience. Thank you Iron Tribe for these 6 weeks! It truly has been transformative.
Having spent the past year working out at ITB, I can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions I have made. I have experienced drastic physical results from the intense workouts, and have enjoyed the community of coaches and athletes alike. I would recommend ITB to anyone looking for life-changing results.
ITF is a great community that encourages you to be your best. The workouts are challenging yet doable/scalable. Great coaches who care and give their time, helping each individual member to achieve their goals. I personally lost 25lbs in 3 months. I would highly recommend IronTribe to everyone.
ITF Belmont is fantastic. Workouts always change and only take 45 minutes. Great coaches who care and great athletes. I love it.
If your committed to your health and looking for a gym where you have small classes ( max is 21 people) and to completely shock your body and keep it in a state of confusion even after 3 years (which will get you results) then this is the gym for you. Youll get indiviualzed attention with their great coaches to keep you on track of your goals and unbelievable comradery. I have met such great people at Iron tribe, staff and members included. Its the hardest -best thing Ive ever done for myself.
Ive been going to ITB for 6 months now and am in the best shape of my life. As a former college athlete, I tried to stay in shape but was always bouncing in and out of various workout routines.Being a bit skeptical of whether I would like this type of coaching/workout format, I decided to try and have been hooked ever since. I initially lost weight by trimming up then quickly began putting on muscle. The workouts continue to be great and I cant recommend ITB enough.
Ive been a ITF member for since Feb 2014. Since attending ITF, I am stronger, more energized and more physically fit. This program has given me the stamina and energy to keep up physically with my two young kids. The coaches are very knowledgeable and professional. Thanks to them you truly feel you are part of a great tribe of friends.
One of the best workout experiences Ive had - great community - great results!
I joined Iron Tribe six months ago. I can honestly say that if your wanting to increase your strength and overall conditioning this is the right place. Austin, Anna, Simon, Jonathan and Renee are a huge testament to the reason I keep coming back.
Great facility, great trainers, really good crew to work out with.
Life changing. Thats the best way to describe the IronTribe experience. I have been a member at the Belmont location in Nashville for two years. As I near turning 40 years old, Im stronger and in better shape now than when I was in my 20s as a result of the workout program. The trainers are incredibly passionate about ensuring every member pushes to reach goals relating to physical achievement they may have previously thought unattainable. Other Tribe members become more than your workout partners. They become friends with whom you share a common goal, which is to become better all-around athletes. No matter your skill level, gender, age, or current physical condition, if you are considering joining a gym or reigniting your weight loss efforts in 2016, give IronTribe a try. You wont be disappointed.
I love ITF Belmont! The community of athletes, workouts, and coaches are all fantastic! The best 45 minutes of my day!
Ive loved every minute of working out at Iron Tribe. The classes are always challenging and so fun...even when I think I may die. :) The coaches have all been so wonderful, and their energetic and encourging attitudes are contagious. I would definitely encourage anyone wanting to challenge themselves or just find a place to start working on their fitness to check them out. #whyitribe #itfbelmont #challengeaccepted
To be honest, I’ve never been a big fan of workout boutiques. Maybe it’s the assumption that all who go there are body builders training for the Olympics & no way was I going to set myself up for failure. Fortunately, I realized that was just fear sliding into my DMs. So with a pep talk to myself & some gal-pals by my side, I signed up as a Triber.Three weeks later, I’ve gained a pound in muscle mass and about 10 more pounds in confidence. I look forward to my classes at Iron Tribe Belmont every week & leave each one feeling stronger — both in my workouts & in my new friendships.Take that, fear. #ITFBelmont #teamCRIST
Ive struggled with exercise & weight loss pretty much my entire life. Ive had gym memberships, bought workout videos, attempted couch to 5k a few times. All lasting, at most, a month before reverting back to my sedentary ways. Then about a year and a half ago I stepped into a class that changed my life. @irontribe is the most amazing fitness program Ive ever encountered. From the workouts that have pushed me out of my comfort zone to coaches that actually want to help me progress and fellow tribers that have become inspirations, encouragers, and friends. Now I am at @irontribebelmont three times a week (sometimes with a few days at @irontribecoolsprings), getting stronger, leaner & faster, and I cant imagine life without my tribe!
I LOVE this place! It is challenging to put into words all of the ways that ITF has changed me. Since joining 5 months ago, going to workout has easily become one of the best parts of my day! Not only is the community amazing, but the coaches are FANTASTIC. Everyday the community pushes me to the best that I can be and after every workout I leave feeling more and more confident then when I walked in. ITF has changed my life for the better. Joining ITF is one the best decisions I have made and it could be yours too!
I can’t say enough positive things about this gym! There are many things that set Iron Tribe apart from other gyms I’ve tried, but what has made the biggest impact for me has been the coaches. I was intimidated about joining at first, having not been in great shape for several years and making all kinds of excuses about being a few years older, demanding job, etc. getting in the way. But in my first meeting with one of the coaches he told me “no one comes here because they’re already in the shape they want to be in - they come because they want to get better!” and that is so true. No matter your level of fitness, they coach you from where you are, and everyone gets the same personal attention from day one, whether you’re committing to fitness for the first time, trying to get back on the wagon, a competitive athlete, or somewhere in between. The workouts are fast-paced, high intensity, and full of amazing athletes and coaches that not only encourage and motivate me every day, but also make me laugh and make it such a fun place to work out. So thankful for these people and so glad I joined!
Never belonged to a gym before this and am glad that I was curios enough to stop and see what they do and took the leap. Their coaches are simply fantastic and the best reason to join ITF. I also love the fact that the workouts can be easily tailored to suit every fitness level and every age.
ITF is great, hands down the best workout Ive ever done. I started ITF at the ripe old age of 40, after years of running and lifting on my own at the Y. Within weeks of finishing 101, I stopped going to the Y. After a couple of months, I lost some of the belly that I had for years, even though I had been a runner for a long time. Now, at 42, I am truly in the best shape I have ever been in, and look better than I did at 25. The workouts are challenging, but quick, the coaches are great, and the tribe atmosphere is fun and fraternal. It is worth the time, effort, and money, and is better in my opinion than the other concepts out there. I hope to be doing ITF when Im 60 and way past that.
Before joining Iron Tribe Fitness, I thought I was in good shape. I would run, lift weights and cycle. The biggest issue for me though was all three of these things were getting stale...and there was nothing pushing me to intensify my workouts. When meeting with the ITF coaches, I expressed my desire to begin a workout regimen that was constantly changing and would put me in a competitive environment so that I could push myself harder. ITF was the answer as I am now in the best shape of my life at 38. If you read the other reviews, youll see the word community come up in almost all of them. This is no mistake. It truly is a big family and after joining, youll quickly see your social circle become filled by other ITF members. The hardest step is the first step....easier to take with a group of soon to be friends.
After my spouse worked out at ITF for over a year i finally went to the Try the Tribe workout one Saturday. After that day i signed up for a year because i was so impressed by the staff, workouts, and all around comradery of all the people at the gym. I truly have not meet so many folks i enjoy seeing through out the week to work out with. They have a variety of times to work out and locations as well. I see the company as a whole growing daily, and that makes me happy. The trainers and owners of Iron Tribe make great efforts to bring out the best in each person and really do like what they do, and it shows. It is a welcoming environoment to all people no matter where you are in your personal journey to make a better life for you and your health.
Great atmosphere and great coaches!! I Always feel very welcome !
After driving past IronTribe Belmont several times and doing some internet research on what it was all about, I decided to take the plunge and do the 101 class. I figured why not? If I dont like it its just one month and then I can go back to my old routine. After the first week of 101 I knew I would never have to find another gym. This place would be home. The coaching staff is phenomenal. They have the knowledge and skill to help you become stronger, and they have a passion for helping members achieve their goals no matter how big or small. As a former college athlete, I love having a place where I go to get stronger and better by CHOICE, not because I have to. But my favorite thing about ITF is the range and diversity of athletes I see around me everyday. Athlete to non-athletes, incredibly fit to just starting out, 18 years old to 70 years old. All doing the same workouts to the best of their ability. And each of us are getting better, each and everyday. Its an incredible thing to be a part of. The best thing about IronTribe is the community. Its not just you in there working alone. The people around you will encourage you each and everyday. If you have ever considered IronTribe, take the plunge. If you are worried about being too out of shape or think this style of workout isnt for you, see my quote above about the ranges of people I see in this gym everyday. You will NEVER be judged in this gym. I promise you will not regret signing up.
If you want to a consistent fitness program coupled with expert fitness and nutritional coaching, and a strong, supportive community, then Iron Tribe Fitness Belmont is the place for you!Three years ago at the recommendation of a friend, I decided to try ITF. I was skeptical at first and thought it would be just another fitness craze that I would sign up for, lose interest in, and drop out of, but boy was I wrong.ITF has been a life changer for me. I went from being a person who dreaded going to the gym to a person who truly looks forward to each and every ITF class, and my day feels incomplete if I don’t get in my ITF workout. What makes ITF different from the other workout programs I have tried is that it is so much more than just a gym. It is the total package - a tough, strategically programmed group workout, one-on-one fitness and nutritional coaching, and a supportive social community all rolled into one.The coaches take so much pride in their work of changing lives. They are motivating, encouraging, and consistent in holding athletes accountable to achieving their goals. And in turn, athletes are not only pushed to reach their own goals, but they also cheer on fellow athletes to do their best and celebrate victories with them.If you’re looking for a new fitness program and supportive community, then drop by ITF Belmont, and check it out. Let it change your life like it’s changed mine.
I was introduced to Irontribe Fitness through my then, girl friend, (who is now my new bride), Kimberlee. I had only worked out modestly by playing racquetball and riding my mountain bike on local trails. I thought myself to be in fairly good shape until I had the opportunity to take the 101 class last January. I was given a new perspective on what it means to be fit by the coaches as they carefully helped all of us to become acquainted with and able to manage the workout regimens designed for us. Upon graduation, I was eager to earn my place among other determined Tribers who had placed their trust in the professional staff (Renee, Anna, Austin, Becca) charged with helping everyone achieve their personal fitness goals. After completing my 5th month as a member, I have been transformed by the experience, not only physically, but mentally and spiritually as well. I look forward to every burpee, wall ball and run and am encouraged by the coaches that I will get my double unders soon. It is a blessing that, as I start a new life with my lovely wife, I ensure that we will be continuing to take great strides in our well being by completing each workout with the chant: 3-2-1 TRIBE! Thank you coaches...
Great people. Small workout space
The workouts are tough but the coaches get you thru it and really a take vested interest in your progress. Its like being on a team.
Love The Tribe!
Fabulous but expensive
