I iron tribe is Feb 2021 after seeing a FB ad for their 6 week challenge. I was nervous about going to a high intensity function fitness class for the first time as I didn’t know the moves at all! But the staff were incredible welcoming and patient and very quickly I was hooked!Now I’ve been a member for 7 months and I’m in the best shape I’ve been in for 10 years! I’ve lost weight,Gained muscle and feel really good in my body. I can’t thank Iron Tribe enough. Oh - and I’ve met some really great people in the classes. And staff - Ryan (manager/head coach) and Sam (coach) are really great coaches and people.I’ve found the group classes to be very challenging but very rewarding and it’s made me work out way harder than I would if I was doing it by myself at a gym somewhere. Love it! And I highly recommend this place. I’d never done this type of training before, now I’m going 5 times a week! And enjoying the diverse, functional nature of the exercises. Highly recommended :-)
The best workout/gym I have ever been to. All of the coaches are extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly, which was great for me as a newcomer. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to get in shape.The scheduling system and Iron Tribe app is also incredibly user friendly and really makes fitting workouts into your schedule easy. They really take all of the stress and anxiety out of it to let you focus just on improving your physical health.
This is my second week so I’m still new here. But the coaches are very friendly and welcoming. They’d be very patience offering guidance to me even though I am a newbie to workouts. People are nice and the vibe is a dope tbh. Love it and highly recommend the belle Meade tribe.
The team is so kind and encouraging! The coaches truly care about healthy living as a whole and creating a safe environment to work out with the option of modifications if you are struggling with a moment or something is causing too much stress on your body. They are wonderful and keep me motivated every workout!

I highly recommended Iron Tribe. It is a life changing gym. They have wonderful trainers and a great community of people. I did the 6 week challenge and lost 7% body fat and 11 pounds during those 6 weeks. I’ve never felt more fit and stronger. They teach you the right way to eat and exercise so you gain muscle and lose fat quickly and in a healthy way. I’ve met so many success stories and the gym is full of positivity. 5 stars all around for Iron Tribe!!
I just completed the 6 week challenge and am amazed at the results I saw from continual encouragement, planning meals, and strength training. I met the 6% body fat loss goal and gained 2lbs of muscle. I feel stronger and healthier from following their meal and exercise plan. The accountability to show up and keep going was what I needed to get motivated and see results. The coaches were fantastic, always ensuring the class is doing the moves in the correct way, as to not hurt ourselves and to get the most from every move. I was intimidated at first, but there are ways to scale all of the exercises and they do so willingly, knowing our bodies are all different. The only reason I didnt give 5-stars is that there was more than one occasion I felt expectations or costs werent clearly communicated. Overall though, its a great gym, great environment, great people. I would definitely recommend the 6 week challenge, and if you can afford it, a membership at the gym.
Been doing iron tribe for 6 weeks and I have loved it. This has been the perfect motivator to get me active and excited about exercising again after having my 3rd baby. The classes are tough but seem to fly by. Coaches are awesome and have even put up with me bringing the kids to a class or two! There are 2 tracks of classes which makes it a lot less initimidating to jump in and get started. Highly recommend iron tribe to anyone of any fitness level!!

Though I love the rest of you guys.There is a meal plan that will get you where you want to be. Yes, you may get tired of eating the same foods, I know that I did. I joined Iron Tribe Belle Meade in June 2015, somewhat apprehensively after seeing all those really fit people jog down Harding Road carrying medicine balls or kettle bells like they were nothing. I couldnt be more pleased with my experience over the past year. I started from an almost non-existent fitness level - I had not seriously worked out in a number of years prior to joining. I feel so much stronger now than I did when I started. The first month of classes, called 101, were really helpful in teaching me the proper way to work with the various equipment so I wouldnt injure myself. It also provided advice on nutrition and allowed me to get to know a great group of people, many of whom started at the same fitness level I did.After 101 I started attending the regular classes. For a busy working mom, the convenience and flexibility to take any one of the 6+ classes a day is so important. I use their app to sign up for the classes that work best with my schedule each week. I also love how the classes vary each day. Even though the workout changes, though, it is still easy to track your progress and see real improvement Seeing that improvement helps motivate me to work harder. The classes are also fast - the 45 minutes from start to finish seems to fly by! The trainers are all very knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about helping each individual.Now Im one of those people jogging down Harding Road carrying a couple of kettle bells or a medicine ball. Its not as hard as I used to think it was. And, Ive met a lot of nice people while getting a great workout!

I am a bit of a gym connoisseur and know a number of workout routines. I also know there is a ton of room for improvement. When I started my six week challenge I was excited and skeptical, but let me tell you how much of a game changer Iron Tribe has been! The high intensity and efficient workouts work really well with my busy schedule, I have noticeable results in a short four weeks, and the coaches are amazing. I started out a bit skeptical but now I am hooked. IT Belle Meade is awesome, the coaches are great and the people are like a tribe. The workouts are strategic, intense, and compact. In and out in under one hour! IT Belle Meade has helped me harness the motivation to change my life. Ten months in and I look forward to the workouts. I am motivated to make better food choices! I have lost about 16 pounds and I like the changes I am seeing in my body. My wife and I workout in the same classes and that helps us motivate each other too!
I joined Iron Tribe at the end of 2016 when I was probably in the worst shape Ive been in my life. I knew I had to make a change, and several of my friends were way into Iron Tribe. It took a little convincing, but in 14 months Ive done things there I never thought I would be able to do. The workouts are quick, tough and fun, and what I’ve found to be most important is the environment/coaching/people. I truly enjoy working out for the first time in my life and feel pushed to be a better version of myself every time I walk in!

Iron Tribe is a great workout program for getting into shape. I have lost about 15 lbs over the past six months and gained a new understanding of nutrition. The workouts are fun and challenging and scaled for all fitness levels. Each class tends to have two coaches working the floor. The coaches are friendly and will help you reach your individual fitness goals.
I just completed my 6 weeks challenge. The goal was to lose 6% body fat in 6 weeks. I completed with losing 7% body fat and 18pounds. It wasn’t easy, but the coaches definitely keep you encouraged and motivated. The community is great and even on the days I didn’t want to be there, I showed up and the people around me pushed me to do more. Iron Tribe is worth the chance. Joining Iron Tribe was by far the best decision I have made for my health. In the past I have had many personal trainers who don’t take the time to get to know you or your body and they put you on a generic plan. At Iron Tribe, the coaches go out of their way to help you. They learn your strengths and weaknesses. They not only motivate and keep you accountable but they help you correct your form, help you you with your diet and just overall help you achieve your goals!
I originally joined Iron Tribe without knowing much about it, just because it was close and I walked in and saw people doing amazing stuff and was like I want to be able to do that! A year and a move later and I am not so close to the gym any more but cant imagine working out anywhere else. The workouts are always challenging and varied but are still appropriate for every level - or even just how youre feeling that day. The coaches are enthusiastic (sometimes crazily so), with classes small enough that you can get feedback on your form or suggestions on a scale that is exactly appropriate to you. The team spirit in each class is amazing - especially for a workout and not a team sport! Everyone encourages everyone else and celebrates when anyone achieves a new goal/level/movement. Ive seen incredible improvement in what Im able to do in the last year, and am confident that Tribe will get me to my next goals (pull ups and handstand pushups here I come)!

I joined the 6 week challenge after my fiancee signed up and talked me into it. I didnt feel like it was something I could do, both physically and mentally, because I was so out of shape and wasnt sure if I could even do the workouts.I was so so wrong.This group of coaches are a team. They work together, hard, to ensure that each challenger has all of the training and information they need to do the workouts at a high level. They encourage you to push harder while ensuring you are safely performing each move and reaching your full potential.I cant thank them enough for jump starting my new life. Ive signed up for a year because I just cant stop, the workouts have become an addicting challenge that Im going to continue to try to master. Iron Tribe has been the most effective, efficient workout Ive experienced. I feel healthier and stronger than when I had a personal trainer. I just completed the 6 week challenge at ITF Belle Meade. With 6.2% body fat lost and 2.4lbs of muscle gained in 6 weeks, I can say with zero trepidation that this gym, the coaches and the program have changed my life! Participating in the IronTribe challenge has exceeded my expectations. I was struggling with motivation and accountability. ITF helped with both. Theres a great sense of community. Even during a fitness competition, everyone cheers each other on. The coaches are positive, dedicated and great at explaining all the exercises in each workout. Theyre also really supportive of modifications to accommodate injuries and all fitness levels. Flexible schedule. Tons of encouragement. Fast classes. Im a fan!
The 101 classes I introduced me to weightlifting form and technique, which is something I have always wanted to explore but never felt comfortable doing anywhere else. Iron Tribe Belle Meade provided individual support in a group setting to teach me the basics throughout the past 4 weeks so that I can participate in normal tribe classes. All the coaches are very knowledgeable and helped me modify movements as necessary so that I could complete all of the workouts. I am excited to keep moving forward with these classes as they are a great compliment to kickboxing with my peeps at ILKB Nashville. I also learned that there is something I dislike more than running…it is called the assault bike. If you don’t know what I am talking about, you should go give it a try and report back ;)
When I moved to Nashville, I wasnt sure which gym to join. I was used to the big gyms in DC with everything and I was told Nashville was all about classes. I was doing research online and came across Iron Tribe Fitness Belle Meade.It looked clean and pretty (dont judge my qualifications for a good gym...) and for some reason I wasnt intimidated like some of the other gyms I was looking at. I called, set up a time to come in and learn about the gym and the next thing I knew, I was signed up for 101.101 was a great way to ease back into working out and to slowly get back to learning how to push myself. Ive been a member of ITF Belle Meade for about 8 months and I am so happy I get to workout with the coaches and the other tribe members. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I especially love that we get together outside of the gym. Never a requirement to attend, its just nice to have a group of people who are supportive and interesting and motivational.ITF Belle Meade makes me proud to workout and has allowed me to enjoy fitness. Id consider working out one of my main hobbies. I really love it! Plus, they play awesome music and I dance in between sets. And no one even judges me.
I heard about a 6 week challenge that Iron Tribe was doing, so I thought: I need a challenge, why not? I didnt know too many details about the challenge or the gym at that point. (And typically Im not that in to gyms - I do more outdoor activities.) It turned out to be a good choice because the coaches are caring, nutrition is a part of the goal, and there is a focus on working up to a higher level, as opposed to jumping right in to the hardest stuff (which could put you at risk for injury). Overall, a good experience. Why the 4 stars? Because its hard for me to give anything 5 stars, as I always see room for improvement :)
I have a love hate relationship with exercise. Throw a ball out there and keep score and I will play all day, but take me to a gym and ask me to lift weights or run on a treadmill and I hate every minute of it. A month ago I was invited to join a fitness challenge at Iron Tribe. Although I do have to go to a gym, what makes Iron Tribe different is the community, competition, and accountability. They know your name when you walk in the door and they push you to compete with the class and yourself. It’s definitely a place that makes exercise a little more enjoyable. If you are looking for a place for “fit”ness, give Iron Tribe a try and see if you fit there.
If youre looking to make a change, Iron tribe is a place that can help you. The coaching staff is knowledgable caring. They stay up to date on safety and science. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat and the work outs are definitely challenging! All things combined to make a great experience. Other members will push and encourage you to go harder and be a better you! I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for an intense, ever evolving total body work out. Theyll help you to scale as needed and work with any pre existing injuries. 3...2...1...GO!

I have been extremely impressed with Irontribe Belle Meades coaching, facility and overall experience. I have worked out at many gyms across the board and this by far has been my favorite. Holy moly, what a great experience doing the 6-week challenge at ITF. They know how to create a culture, get you fit, and change your outlook on life. Our original reason for taking the challenge was to lose some weight before our wedding. It turned into sooooo much more than that. We are now all about making healthier decisions now. Ive always been an active person.Ive been a runner since grade school. Running is great because you set your own pace, can block out the rest of the world and be one with nature. Thats the problem with running though: it can be isolating. The accountability is often left up to the runner. And if you get busy, its easy to ditch the run that day. Not to mention the fact that running is also hard on the body and sort of one-dimensional as far as workouts go.Then there are gyms: the work gym, the cheap monthly-membership gym, the circuit gym. All of them have their appeal, but theres still something missing from each.Irontribe is really the first COMMUNITY Ive been part of that pulls everything together. The coaches and members care about each other: where they are, their health, their families, their lives. The workouts are fun, different and challenging, but can fit anyones skill level. The app and the community holds you accountable as well as gives you a sneak peak at what youll be doing that day. There are special events, activities and competitions that are fun and meant to bring everyone together as well as challenge you.Thats probably the biggest thing I get out of Irontribe: a tribe and a program that will always challenge me to be better. There is always room in my life for improvement, whether its power cleaning 250lbs or just saying hi to the new person that is in the same position I was 2 years ago...nervous, intimidated and doubtful. Dont worry, its worth it!

I have been working out at ITF since leaving to pursue another career last November.If youre looking for a community focused, general fitness program, youve found the place. Iron Tribe focuses on everything you need when it comes to real life fitness.Everyone needs a healthy heart and cardiovascular system.So get your heart rate up... check.Everyone needs stronger bones, joints, and muscles to fight against breakdown during the aging process.So lift weights... check.Everyone needs to be more mobile, being able to squat, lift their arms above their heads, twist, turn, etc.So put your body through full ranges of motion... check.Everyone wants to be able to do all of this stuff while making meaningful connections and friendships that will last you as long as you want them to.So work out with like-minded, good people... check.Iron Tribe Fitness is not an aesthetics based program. If you want to lose body fat, you have to change your diet, no matter what any other gimmicky program wants to tell you. ITF will help you with that.Outside of that, this is a program about making you and keeping you fit. And if youre on the fence, go ahead and jump on over. You wont regret it.
My wife joined Iron Tribe in December 2013, and I reluctantly signed up in March 2014 after hearing several months of her praise the experience. I had the usual excuses not to join- too busy, I had belonged to gyms in the past and been let down, I can get fit on my own, etc. Well, I was pretty wrong about everything. The past 18 months have been more than I could have hoped for, all thanks to the people at Iron Tribe in Belle Meade. The coaches are all fantastic athletes for sure, but they create an environment that is welcoming and fun, making a trip to workout something to look forward to. Not only is it a great way to get fit, but the classes are always different, so you never become bored doing the same thing. The coaches push you just enough, without being intimidating, so I have learned to do things I never thought were possible when I first joined. It really has become something I look forward to doing every day, both for the fitness aspect of it but also because the coaches make it a fun place to end the day and work off whatever stress has built up at work. Probably the best change Ive done in my life over the past 2 years. Guess I should have listened to my wife sooner!
Last year at 2am i woke up and responded to a FB post promoting Iron Tribe. Zak called me days later. I drove to belle Meade and signed up with the 2 free week trial. Loved it. I did tribe for 6 months.Got in pretty good shape but more importantly just felt good about myself. Couldn’t rejoin and then Ryan Kirk called me in February about this 6 week challenge. I wanted to feel good again.Many battle or struggle internally due to everyday life, myself definitely included. Since joining the challenge my life is better. I can manage those struggles better. ITF is good at what they do. Its a crossfit style gym, while not officially crossfit. The workouts are posted in advance on their app (to either mentally prep you or be lazy and choose another day...), and classes stay small. The trainers are knowledgeable and friendly. Why not 5 stars? The times arent all convenient (I like the 7am hr to work out - 6ams too early, 8ams too late, and evenings are iffy with my work sched...), but mostly because I dont feel like Ive found a community for me. A good workout? Yes. Learned new things? Yes. Best friends? No. Im grateful for the opportunity to try out ITF Belle Mead during the 101 challenge, though. Thanks guys, for what you offer.
#itfbellemeadeAround February, a friend of mine encouraged me to enter into the Irontribe Team Challenge by saying, “Uh, it’ll change your life bro.”Now, after 5 weeks of the competition, I attest that statement was 100% true. The results have been remarkable. Other than being a little sore, I’ve enjoyed every bit of it. The trainers have been excellent. They create a consistent positive vibe and energy, and that’s 5:15 AM, 8:00 PM or anything in between.Huge thank you to the Belle Meade ITF Trainers Arlen Castenada Noelle Fede Ryan Kirk and #itfbrentwood Joshua Works Kari Morse Josh Rabon Lindsey Sillers and #itfcoolsprings Renee Bourland Box and Jamie Warren. Thank you all for being gracious, encouraging and patient. Certainly represented Irontribe well. Also, thanks for kicking my b*** for the past 5 weeks (if I left any trainers out, please no extra burpees, or whatever). My mood, ability to get a good night’s rest, food choices, and overall quality of life have all significantly improved as direct results of your collective efforts. Goodwill is about to get some more used clothes since I’ve dropped a size and a few pounds.One other thing is that I got a bum knee and a back issue. I’m confident much of that is due to gaining a few pounds and getting older, so the process of going through the 101 classes was an appropriate introduction. The classes are fun, challenging, and low impact. The friendly competition is a great motivator. It is reaffirming to see the marked improvement from week to week. It worked very well for me given my physical concerns going into the challenge.I knew some, if not much of the exercises from high school glory days sports but a refresher on proper technique and easing into it was a good thing. Some of it I did not know, so it made a less intimidating transition to the PUSH classes. Sometimes you got to crawl correctly before you walk. The 101 classes pushed me and were a great introduction to ITF. I can tell a huge difference from day 1 to where I am now.I am grateful for the opportunity to share my results and story and give credit where it is due. My wife and I have been at ITF Belle Meade now for over 1 yr. we were already active in working out and biking but what we have discovered since joining ITF is the power of great coaches and a program that works . We have been able to get into that next level fitness that we both have been searching for and wish we had discovered this many years ago. Its been a game changer for us and we look forward to each workout.Regardless of your level of fitness ITF will keep you reaching for that next level. We love it !
I joined Iron Tribe Belle Meade September 2014, and it was probably the best decision I ever made. I thought I knew how to work out, how to design a workout including intensity and frequency, proper nutrition and how to eat for performance/goals. After several years of doing things on my own, I constantly hit a plateau, lost interest in both the routine and nutrition and would quit out of frustration of not seeing any results physically, only to do nothing to change it.After driving by gym several times and doing some research online, I wanted to see what IronTribe was all about and decided to go in and talk to a coach. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and made to feel very welcome. The coach was very easy to talk to and answered every question I had but also asked me questions about my history, what my fitness goals were for the present as well as the future. He then shifted the conversation to food and nutrition and offered me several great pieces of advice on small changes to make. We then started talking about the actual workouts, what they consisted of, the level of intensity, frequency, movements. At this point, I was concerned that I would not be able to perform well, especially in a class with other members who may put me to shame, who have been doing this for some period of time. I think the coach could see that on my face and then told me that EVERYTHING could be scaled depending on fitness level and comfort. This put me a little more at ease and he then showed me several exercises and how they could be scaled. He then told me that all members must go through a set of intro classes, called 101, where the movements and exercises are properly taught so that injuries dont occur and so that you learn them correctly. At this point, I knew this is where I needed to be.Over a year later, I have improved so many aspects of my life physically and mentally as a result of joining Iron Tribe. I see changes in my appearance that I never thought possible. The community there is extremely welcoming and friendly and your physical ability has no bearing on how people treat or view you. These are the people that you work out with and they help motivate and push you to your limits while having a great time doing the workout. The coaches are the best and are always available to answer any questions you have about a movement, food/nutrition, develop goals, and are always willing to meet with you to help you improve on a movement or exercise. They genuinely care about you and your goals and strive to help you not only achieve them but surpass them.Concerned that you dont have the time? Classes are 45 minutes long and they have shower facilities available if you need to get to work early in the morning or return to work from a mid day workout. You get to create your own schedule as they offer several different class times daily. With options like that, there is no reason to not get in the gym.If you are looking to make yourself healthier and improve your mental and physical abilities, then IronTribe is for you. I strongly encourage you to stop by and talk to a coach and see for yourself why Iron Tribe is like nothing you have ever done before and will get you where you want to be.
Ive been a member of the Belle Meade Tribe since January 2015. Im addicted to it. As soon as the WOD for the next day comes to my app, I start thinking about it. It is intense and difficult at times but the coaches and the tribe create such a team-like atmosphere, its very rewarding, physically and mentally. I work out early and my drive home after a tough WOD is one of the best parts of my day. Im working on double-unders and muscle-ups and am inspired by my fellow tribe members. Tribe on 1!
I joined ITF Belle Meade in February of 2015, at the urging of a co-worker of mine.The free orientation workout, dubbed Try the Tribe was probably 10 minutes long. For me, it was a wake up call that at the age of 45, simple strength exercises like push ups and pull ups were humiliating. I thought I was in good shape because I walked a lot and used some cardiovascular equipment. The fact is, I had no core strength and poor flexibility.I joined the Iron Tribe 101 - four weeks of education, light workouts and orientation. A huge emphasis is on safety, the impact of diet, and understand why a HIIT (high intensity interval training) program can make such a huge difference.After graduating 101, and beginning to see some weight loss, I signed up for the full Iron Tribe membership. 3x days a week for four months....my goal was to simply finish the 4 months and not get injured. In fact, I did finish. Over that time, I lost 25 pounds, and feel better than I have in 20 years. After the initial term, I renewed and now attend classes there 4 days a week. I have now lost 35 pounds and (although cliche) am in the best health of my life.I give full credit to the diet and program design, but the Iron Tribe secret is the quality and consistency of their training staff. Ryan and Caleb run the morning classes, and are always fully engaged with the participants. They offer support, advice and feedback...and they make each class a little fun! The group cohesion is also unique - I attend the 5:30 (AM!) class and have made good friends who also support each other in the workouts.I would highly recommend Iron Tribe to anyone who thinks they need a change. It may seem intimidating, but the 101 program and the way the trainers will scale any exercise make it accessible and life changing no matter your age or fitness level!
To every woman who thinks youll get bulky by lifting weights, you are WRONG!Ive been with Iron Tribe Belle Meade for about 5 months and I can testify that my endurance and strength has definitely increased and continues to do so, while my body fat decreases.. and I have Not gotten buiky!Iron Tribe Belle Meade is A MUST for anyone who is looking to take their fitness to the next level! With the encouragement of Maxwell & Eli you can get through any workout! I promise, youll be amazed at what your body is capable of accomplishing if you continue to push yourself! The workouts are different & exciting every day which keeps you from getting into that same old routine that you are probably doing at the gym. Not only do the coaches at ITBM provide knowledge about what you should and shouldnt eat, portion sizes (specified for your body type), they also give amazing instructions for each knew skill to prevent injuries.Finally, my favorite quality about Iron Tribe Belle Meade is that everyone from all fitness levels are welcome and everyone is friendly and encouraging. There are no judgements with where you are in your fitness ventures, so if you are nervous, come in & try it out. I promise you will feel encouraged throughout the entire workout!
