My biggest issue with Amtemps is the lead coordinator Misti. She acted as if she didnt want me on the particular account that hired me as a front desk receptionist. I had excellent reviews from the staff including my site coordinator who wanted to provide me with a job.Unfortunately, I received a much better offer. I chose that position instead. When I informed my site coordinator and Misti of the impending change in employment. All seemed well until I received my paycheck. My wage had been garnished from the contracted pay rate to minimum wage. It completely messed up my income for the entire month of September. I was told that those terms were in my contract. However, when I looked back over the contract slip provided there was nothing in the one sheet outline that mentioned those terms. I contacted Misti about the mishap. She had no empathy for me or my situation. I think this entire ordeal could have been handled better especially since I did excellent work. Im thankful for the opportunity that presented itself to me, but I do not like the politics involved with administration at the actual Amtemps office.

The environment here was great! Everybody was very supportive and professional and ready to help!

They told me that i would be able to start a job making 16 an hour at Nissan but it would take a week. That week passed and they had me doing random assignments and told me that it would take longer which is understandable because Nissan has a shut down twice a year. So about a month goes by and a few days before Im supposed to start they call me and tell me that it took FOUR WEEKS for my background to come back and that i wasnt allowed to work that job. When i had disclosed all criminal charges i had on the initial application. To me this comes down to inconsideration and procrastination. They wasted my time and if they did it to me, they might do it to you.

Great staff. They found a clerical work for me within a few hours. Was hired the next day. Very pleased
