Purchased a few items, The cars are decent, you HAVE to inspect them and do you homework. Most cars are respos so if the previous owner count afford the payment they sure couldnt afford maintenance. Read the Rules!
Uncomfortable atmosphere. They misrepresent their cars and I don’t feel comfortable asking anyone questions because they always respond with rudeness
Bought a 2005 gmc yukon strong motor but transmission with bad bands paid 1200 dollars for it not a bad deal at all fixed the transmission for 1800 dollars still below msrp they were honest and had no way of knowing about the transmission very respectable
Website needs work and rules to participating needs to be better explained also listed. First time using them and I messed up and got marked as a bad buyer before I even had a chance because I had won bids on two cars and called the number to see if one could be taken off one or if they could work with me and they really didnt care.
Very unprofessional business! AUCTION BUYER BEWARE TNHIBID. They let there auction close then restart with your won items and then blame tnhibid when tnhibid has nothing to do with relisting auction time .VERY Shady business!!!
I bid on line for a 2010 dodge charger sxt I got for a steal the vehicle needed a little work but other that its a strong running nice looking vehicle, the staff is very helpful & respectful like any other auction just be mindful of the vehicle you want if you have to research it so you know the oods & ends ofit
We went to the car auction as first time buyers hoping for a good experience. We got a Chevy Trailblazer 04. Paid $1282:13 total. It was from the “runs & drives” section, so we did not expect the transmission to be bad straight up. Drove out of the auction driveway unable to shift out of 2nd gear. Had to drive 30 mins like that to home. After reluctantly replacing the transmission, it was time to get it emissions tested. The man informs us that the last time it went through emissions was 4 months ago and car had 277000 miles on it!!!! We had bought it from Colson with 144000 written on the windshield! Of course Colson removes themselves from any liability by stating we bought the car “as is”. Called them up regardless to let them know they falsely misrepresented the car. The lady hung up on me. Very professional!!! DON’T BUY FROM THESE GUYS! UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCREWED!!!!
Been going to there auctions off snd on for years. Great people.
Beside bidding against used car dealers, this is the only public car auction I like hands down. In a 9 yr period I have purchased about 3 personal cars, 1 truck, and 1 van from them that lasted long enough to get on my feet.
Ive been going to this auction since 2008 and what people dont understand is that its a car auction and they sale everthing as is its posted everywhere. Since ive been going here ive seen people come and bid almost blue book for a car that they cant even test drive on the road. My advice is go there and only bid half of what the car kelly blue books for. Thats for the run and drive. The no runs only bid about a quarter of what the car is worth. Please note these cars are in there for a reason and sometimes you can get lucky and buy a repo car and theres nothing wrong with it. Ive bought at least 10 cars from them and most were good cars but some were bad and thats why i stick to the paying only half or a quarter of what its worth. Hopes this helps anyone looking to go there and buy a car.
I brought 4 and sold 2 vehicles from there. I have save half money not going to any car lot.
Great place to get a car for a discounted price.
Beware!!! My experience with these people has left me with the feeling that they have absolutely NO integrity. I spent $2,300 on a 2003 Mazda MPV which Marc Colson ran through the Run & Drive lane, but should have placed with the No Run vehicles, since it has a blown head gasket. Marc Colson of Colson Auto Auction and Nathaniel Ferguson of Northside Auto Sales are both aware of this, and I conclude that its Standard Operating Procedure for both... Youd be wise not to do business with either!
Went to estate auction today, 2-24-2018, Tracys City, Tn. Was supose to be absulute, but owner had reserve prices. Bad
