My name is Mary Musekiwa, l have a puppy his name is Lucky. Lucky is 16 months old he started going to Animal Hospital Day Care when he was one year old, Lucky looks forward every single morning to go spend 6-7 hours playing with other dogs. I have never had a problem with my dog coming home sick or looking mad instead at the end of the day when l pick him up he gives Sherie a goodbye kiss, so cute. Sherie is the Directer at the Animal Day Care which is City Porch Daycare she runs that day care very well l am always updated with anything involving my dog’s daily schedule at the day care. Also my Lucky goes to Animal Hospital for is medical. Anyone out there looking for a day care or Animal hospital check it out.

I have been taking my dog Prancer here for 9 years now and I am very happy with the service. My dog had to have some blood work done last week and Jessica took good care of him. He is going back to have his teeth cleaned. There isnt an Animal Hospital around that I trust more than this one. Thank you to the all of the staff.

My wife and I brought our puppy here yesterday, as she had developed significant eye discharge caused by conjunctivitis. We called the hospital ahead of time, as it was one that was recommended by our primary care Vet, and when we spoke to the receptionist on the phone, she took all our information and told us to call when we got to the parking lot. Upon our arrival, we called and were checked in and told it would be between 1 and 2 hours wait, which we did not have any issues with. After 3 hours, my wife called and asked for an update and she was told that we were next to be seen. After another 35 minutes passed, a vet tech came out and advised us that they would not see our dog as they did not consider it an emergency, and there were only two of them working today. The tech looked at her eyes and even stated that she could see the discharge, but that it was not severe enough to be seen. I was not happy, they knew what she was coming in for and they could have easily told us over the phone that they could not see her. I believe that because it would not generate a large income stream they decided she was not a worthwhile candidate to be seen. I do not believe that this is a quality run business nor would I trust the care of a pet to them, if they are unable to cope with scheduling, I cannot imagine what their overall standard of care is. My advice to any responsible pet parent, find a more reputable hospital that cares about all pets equally.

I was looking for a daycare and boarding facility for my dog (Suki) that offered a large space for playtime, along with being safe and not crowded. After trying a few facilities, I happened to come across City Pooch in a Google search. After connecting with Sheri, I knew that Suki was going to enjoy her time there. Suki has been going to City Pooch for about six months now and I am so happy with the service and care she has been receiving from Sheri and her team.

There is nothing better than knowing that the people caring for your pets are knowledgeable and will take care of them as if they were their own pets. Everyone weve interacted with at the Animal Hospital of Nashua has always shown a great love of animals and they really put you at ease when your life is at its most stressful.Making sure our pets have the best care is something that is important to AHN, even when they had to refer one of my dogs to a specialist for his allergies. It was more important that he received the best care than making the money themselves. We have 6 pets (3 dogs & 3 cats) and I wouldnt go to any other vet. Our most recent Puppy has been going to get his shots and Isabella was amazing at taking him in and made me feel better about leaving him to go in without me (due to Covid).

Although the reviews are misleading, I have to say the ER department did a phenomenal job with my senior basset Herman he’s 14!!! His legs just kept buckling they were so informative with me on what they could do for him and somethings that they can’t provide in his neurological issues but the staff did everything for Herman and made sure he’s healthy enough for at home care kidneys, liver, white and red blood cells checked it all. I was a wreck but they put up with my calls, they were very compassionate and my sweet baby walked outside to me! His blood work was amazing . They gave me medications to get his infections under control and medication for his legs, I am soo happy I brought him to the Nashua animal hospital and putting him to sleep was not an option for me and not a suggestion from them. which was amazing that they cared about him like I do! Thank you so much to all the team members!

My dog was extremely sick for almost a month, she wouldnt eat, she was constantly crying. When I took her in, she was taken care of by Isabella, and she treated my dog like her own. She was able to diagnose and heal my dog. I would definitely recommend bringing your pet to see Isabella for any of their needs, she is so caring and kind. I had a great experience and I would most definitely come here again to see Isabella for anything my dog may need.

Heres a bit of a backstory as to why we chose Animal Hospital of Nashua and why we think theyre great.Last winter (feb/March 2021) we had a pet emergency with our elderly rescue kitty. We called Nashua Animal Hospital and they told us to come right down. They explained the COVID protocols put in place and were very apologetic since we werent allowed in with her. The vet techs were super kind and very gentle with our fur baby. The vet called us right away and gave us the low down on all of the tests they wanted to run etc etc. We took Baby (that was her name) home with meds and understood we chose palliative care for her treatment. Unfortunately about a week later, Baby took a turn and passed away at home. We called Nashua Animal Hospital as it was happening and they were very sympathetic and helped walk us through a few things to make her as comfortable as possible. We took Baby back to them so we could have her cremated. In May 2021, we adopted 2, 1 year old kittens, Buddy and Sassy. We made an appointment with Nashua Animal Hospital for their first well being/annual vet appointment. I admit, I procrastinated and didnt call until July to make the appointment (my bad). With that being said, dont wait people... we didnt get an appointment until September. Yes, there is a pretty long wait list. Since it was not an emergency, I was not set back by this. Now were up to date. Our appointment was yesterday. It was at 10am. We arrived about 10 minutes early. I called to check in and a vet tech Chelsey called me right back to go over the patient intake. Chelsey and another vet tech (Im sorry I did not get her name) came out straight away to pick up both Buddy and Sassy. Both kitties were a little skittish as this was their first visit to the vet and their first time ever out of the house since we adopted them. Both vet techs spoke tenderly to my fur babies to keep them calm as we made the transfer. Its not easy blindly handing over your fur babies to unknown people. However, I applaud them for taking appropriate precautions for not just the safety of their staff, but also the safety of their clients and their human caretakers. They seem to have a very well oiled machine with the drop offs and pick ups. Each time Ive been there, the parking lot is pretty busy. I think that says a lot.Anyway, I was unsure of how long the visit for both cats would be and was surprised when the vet, Dr. John called me about 30 or so minutes later. Dr. John was great. He spoke to me in great length about both physicals and gave me great advice on a few issues to watch (my Buddy boy is a big boy). I can say that bedside manner matters not just with humans but with animals too. From the receptionist to the vet techs to the vet, the bedside manner my fur babies and I have received has been stellar from day 1. As far as pricing goes, give me the name of a great vet that is inexpensive, then let me also sell you a bridge in Brooklyn. When you adopt or buy a pet, you should plan on spending money on their health and wellness. Its part of the commitment. All in all our latest visit at Animal Hospital of Nashua was successful. Both kitties were given back to me by 11am. Both were happy, healthy and ready for a lazy nap. I am happy we stumbled upon Animal Hospital of Nashua during our time of need. I highly recommend them for not only emergency visits but your routine vet visits.

Had a cat last year with a neurological issue, they couldnt treat her but helped us get her to Mass Vet in Woburn (who are also wonderful) and didnt charge us for her exam. Recently returned with another pet with a leg injury and they were incredible helpful. I wouldnt take my pets anywhere else in an emergency.Yes, you have to wait outside. And yes, the waits are sometimes long...but they operate 24/7 and are understaffed like the rest of the world. Give a little compassion and you might receive it in return.

Prior to the pandemic my family and our pets called Nashua Animal Hospital our Veterinarian.Amid the crisis of the past year and a half all my animals “agreed” to be without a family member while being poked & prodded to protect the people working within the red barn - except 1 - my bulldog whom had never seen a different vet throughout his 5 years does not go anywhere without me or my husband - call it separation anxiety - whatever the case - he’s fine as long as someone he trusts is with him - you may ask why he didn’t trust the only vet he ever saw - and the answer would be - he never saw the same person twice - to the point- throughout the past year and a half I had 7 appointments - during which my dog would refuse to be taken by a stranger into the red barn so I would reschedule again & again - each time he would miss being checked for health issues and vaccinations - so when May came along and the pandemic ended I looked forward to finally getting my dog a physical - when my husband & I showed up - imagine my surprise when they informed me they have NO DATE for when an owner can enter the building because their vet techs don’t feel like getting vaccinated ……Prior to it was understandable but now this animal medical establishment is taking peoples animals into the building while many of them likely have Covid-19 - how is that best for any animal?

I have been taking my dog to them for a few years. They were not bad to begin with. The only complaint I’ve had until recently is that their charges are quite high. Also they either tend to over treat or under treat.Lately though, the wait times have become ridiculous. First they’ve stopped giving regular appointments and always try to direct you to the ER ( to charge more $$$? ) . The wait times for them to get your pet checked in is sometimes over an hour ( why not hire more people? ) . The people answering the phones, technicians or vets have no idea about your pet’s medical history ( too lazy to look it up? ) . Their suggestions are so very generic that you can just look up on the internet. If some one can recommend a better provider please share their contact here.

Techs are great Vets are awful. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Brought my puppy here, they told me she had a heart murmur that they would keep an eye on. We got all our shots and all our puppy visits out of the way and then 4 months later we got her spayed here and 5 minutes before she is about to go under they call us saying there is a chance she may not make it because of her heart murmur. They asked if we wanted to go through with it and we did. Nothing was said in any pre op appointment about any concern of her heart murmur. Then my dog was having issues where she was dry heaving, puking multiple times a day and they told us it was kennel cough. Didn’t give us anything, put her on a bland diet and told us to basically “figure it out” . After finally taking her to a new vet to have her evaluated, it turns out she was allergic to chicken. Never had a good experience here. PLEASE DON’T GO HERE!!!!

Ive been a client of the Animal Hospital of Nashua for over 20 years now. Every pet Ive had since the 90s has seen a doctor there. I moved out of Nashua in the early 2000s and thought, for my convenience, it was a good idea to try another vet closer to my home. It wasnt, no vet, no hospital, and no location is better than the Animal Hospital of Nashua. They care more, they treat better, they listen to your concerns and work with your opinions when it comes to the ultimate care of any pet. COVID has put a damper on the way we do things these days but it’s for the safety of staff and us patients who may have to either sit in a waiting room with others or go into a small exam room with a provider. I like the car option & I know my dog is in good hands. My poor guy has recently been to the ER building twice but as with all appts, options are given to me before services are rendered and fees racked up (which I appreciate). After spending 2 days and multi calls and money at a different emergency facility and our dog getting worse by the day they then told us we just need to go see our vet. I took another day off to see our vet but they had no openings till late in the day which they had no opening the first time I called and sent us to the first emergency place and said since he is now bleeding internally to bring him to another emergency place. We brought him to the Animal Hospital of Nashua it was a painfully long wait in the car 2+hours but once he went inside they called us within 45 minutes. The vet told us the same thing the other hospital he was 15 and we would need to lock him in a crate (he was not a crate dog and stressed when he was younger in the crate) to heal his current issues for 4-5 weeks. He was already going blind, almost completely deaf had bad hips and had a failing liver we made the decision to say goodbye which was hard enough but the other animal hospital said no just lock him up. They did also let us come in and spend time with him and be there in the end. So as hard and heartbreaking as this was it was best for him and I want to thank you for letting us make the right decision for him and not telling us no.

Let me preface this by saying; I usually do not do this sort of thing (not one for seeking attention) but I feel compelled to write this extensive review to address all the negative reviews I just came across.Over the years, I have met many doctors and support staff at Animal Hospital of Nashua. My impression of the hospital team always stayed the same and can be described by all or any of the following: professional, courteous, compassionate, thorough, friendly and helpful.Facilities are always very nice and clean no smells whatsoever. Spacious lobby with pleasant music and stylish decor where waiting clients can have their pets spaced apart and not feel like we are on top of each other. Free Keurig coffee machine for us coffee addicts  that is when it is not COVID-19 pandemic. Their curbside service is great too - no complaints there either. They have a robust reminder system in place that keeps you informed when your regular services or vaccines are due. First reminder shows up exactly one month before due date, which I think is great because getting an appointment last minute can be challenging - the place is busy (here is another proof that people want to come here and place is NOT all doom and gloom). They have their own app that allows me to request appointments, order refills, view medical records etc. In addition, that is how I get my reminders too – app keeps me notified with helpful reminders. This place is staying with current times and all the conveniences that technology offers and that is a plus in my book.Thankfully, I have never had to experience losing a pet to medical emergency or long-term illness, so I can only conclude that majority of bad reviews are from grief struck folks. I understand loss is difficult and your mind wants to place a blame on someone. Placing it on the doctor or technician or your hospital, is it fair towards people that dedicate their life to help animals? And one last note to those who complaint that prices are too high and procedures are too expensive. This is not the only place in the area. By all means, go elsewhere! To me it is worth it every penny. You get what you pay for. And if you cant afford care for your pet then its a reflection on you! You took that responsibility when you got a pet; nobody forced you to do it, and if you cant handle financial responsibilities, at least be honest with yourself on who is really unfit party in the relationship.

Worst animal hospital I ever brought a dog to. Dealt with them in the Summer of 2020. Refused to give sufficient treatment to an older dog because their attitude was “What’s the point?” My dog was healthy and was struggling to breathe due to a collapsed trachea. They didn’t do any treatment and sent the dog home to die the next day. The removal of face to face contact is for their benefit so they won’t have to tell you to your face we won’t do anything. I wouldn’t send a pile of feces for these vets to look at.There is record of it but for my protection I am not disclosing my info. All that is known is that I brought my dog multiple times to the ER and no treatment was given that was sufficient that improved the dogs state.

I had recently adopted a dog from Northeast Animal Shelter (fyi...great shelter, amazing employees). They advised me to make an appt with my vet within a month to establish the dog as a patient. Couldnt even get my appt within a month.I have to back-up for a minute. I want you to know that we were previous patients at Animal Hospital of Nashua, but we left there due to the services/treatment we received for my dog Sparky. However, Sparky recently passed away this July and our current vet would not permit us to stay with him as he was being put down due to COVID-19 restrictions. This broke our heart as you can imagine your dog isnt just a pet, hes your child. So I had called Animal Hospital of Nashua and they would let us go in with him which meant the world to me.Now we are up-to-date. On April 8th we bring Jackson in and it is curbside drop -off due to COVID. I give the tech and the girl with her the whole adoption envelope which has ALL his info and I tell the tech everything (we need to establish him as a patient, we need flea/tick meds, etc..).The appt is very quick. The dtr calls (Dtr Nolin) and we discuss everything listed above along with anxiety and getting along with my cats. She was very nice, took plenty of time, explained all the vaccines he got and what he would need. She explained a second appt with a vet tech was needed to complete lyme (which was one of the combo vaccines he got). Appt total $339.98I called and made the appt to make, but the receptionist insisted I needed yo make an appt with a dtr and puppies need 3 appts for everything to make sure they are all set. I explained he is not a puppy he is a teen (dob 4/15/20). She put me on hold for some time and then made me an appt for 4/29.On 4/29 my son brought Jackson to get his second lyme vaccine, he also got more vaccines, and had an intestinal parasite screen. However, I was only charged for a vet nurse visit. BUT a third visit was scheduled. Appt total $185.98Now when they come home with the paperwork, with another appt Im dumbfounded!! We adopted a dog that was up-to-date on all his vaccines. So what could he possibly need to return for? Why does he need to go back? Why is he getting all these vaccinations?I look through all Jacksons paperwork and call to discuss this. First they have his dob incorrect! They have it as 5/5/20! I inform her its incorrect. Her answer is, Well thats what we have. And then questions if I brought his paperwork to verify his dob. I inform her I did. Funny thing, she asks if Id like her to change it? Of course I would! So i go through the whole story and she states she will have to have her manager contact me (this is on 4/29).*My issue is #1 my dog is over vaccinated and #2 Ive been over charged!! I shouldve only had to go once for a wellness exam and now Ive pd over $500!!*On 5/2 someone contacted me and stated they did not have that particular page with all the vaccinations on it. I gave everything in the pkg, it couldve been that someone did not copy that page. There are two that look almost exactly alike. So I scan the form and she tells me she will look out for it and once she receives it, she will consult with her mgr and get back to me.Today is 5/20 and I have heard nothing! On 5/4 I had surgery and was out of commission. I called on 5/12 and 5/13 and someone was going to get back to me. I called on 5/19, again someone is going to get back to me. No one is ever available to speak with at the time I call. Or no one is available that can rectify it. Obviously it is not a concern to them that Jackson has been over vaccinated! And they surely dont care to reimburse me!!Besides Jackson, I again have two cats and we will definitely be going elsewhere, but I should be refunded for unnecessary vaccinations. I shouldve known better than to return there, but I let my heart get the best of me. I know this is very, very long, but I hope my story helps someone out. Before you chose this practice Beware of what youre getting yourself into!!

My dog was seen in October of 2020 in emergency care after a bite from another dog. The care was fine, but a paperwork “mistake” has taken more than 5 weeks to even receive a call back, after multiple calls made by myself to the office. Only after I threatened to call the state vet did someone actually pick up the phone. The issue was never resolved, and I now believe it wasn’t a mistake but intentional to generate more income. The care my dog received at the time of the emergency was fine, but the office staff is rude and unhelpful. Also trying to get my dog back in for suture and staple removal (which I was told was included in the price of the procedure) was literally impossible, so I stopped trying and went elsewhere. We won’t be back.

My girlfriend brought our dog in weeks ago for routine vaccines. During which time they tested her for heart worms without asking. Which isn’t necessarily a problem since she came up positive so now we know she needs treatment. About $600 and weeks later, we have no information or any call back about the follow up test for larvae. And haven’t recieved any instructions on wether the medication can finally be started or if it’s actually needed. Save yourselves the time and huge expense. I’d recommend going to windham animal hospital. Or really any vet that will at least return your call.

Second negative experience with the Emergency Care Center of the Animal Hospital of Nashua with a different pet. Though considered an emergency center, staff took nearly an hour to just receive my pet. The doctor then offered a mere five minute exam and was very rushed in speaking with me -- barely asking any questions of my pets history or talking through what possible issues could be. Nearly $200 for these few minutes of care and an injection. In addition to the lack of patient care, other staff lacked in their customer service. The technician shared that she was an intern and was unable to answer basic questions about medication given to my pet. The office assistant was ready to charge my credit card without reviewing the total or details of the charges and seemed annoyed when asked for these details. Initial conversations on the phone when seeking the appointment were also less than pleasant. The only positive interaction was with Dr. Ramos whom I spoke with over the phone when I returned to the clinic that evening because my pet was not reacting well to the initial treatment provided by the first doctor. Dr. Ramos was patient and caring in walking through possible issues my pet faced and recommended various treatment options but which would total nearly $2000 at their center.Disappointed in the care, attention to detail, customer service, and bedside manner of the staff (in addition to exorbitant costs) I continued treatment for my pet at another clinic which accepted my pet even while they were fully booked. In contrast, staff at this second clinic were warm, caring, and quickly identified the my pets problem which is quite serious. I was ultimately able to get better care for half the price ($850 vs $2000) at this second clinic. All in all, much was left to be desired at the Emergency Center of the AHN. I will seek other options before returning to this clinic or emergency care center.

My brand new kitten had to be put down last night. I got her Saturday and by Sunday evening she was lethargic and had gone limp. I called the animal hospital to give a quick synopsis of the situation. Brought her down and we learned she was too sick and the best course of action would be to put her down.Words truly cannot express how truly kind and caring the staff were, mainly Trish and Dr Odell (please forgive any misspelling). I felt like we went through the pain together and that really meant a lot to me. It is so obvious that they have the connection; they understand the bond we share with our animals and don’t try to shy away from addressing the emotions that come with difficult decisions.Thank you so much Trish and Dr Odell. I will never forget this and will definitely be bringing all of my animals here in the future.

I cant recommend Nashua Animal Hospital enough. We have used them for our dog, Reggies veterinary care for about 8 years. We have always been very pleased with the service and care that they have provided for us. Recently, our dog needed to undergo an invasive and complicated surgery to remove a large, cancerous growth on his front leg. Dr. Julia Zitz and her Vet Tech, Renee and the staff on the Emergency side did a wonderful job; not only with the surgery, but all the post-op care as well. They made themselves available to answer questions, showed compassion toward Reggie and treated us like family. Its not easy to watch your pet go through this type of surgery. Yet the care given to us exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this team to care for your pet.

We adopted a beautiful dog a couple months ago. This dog has been going to this vet for years! I recently switched his vet because I was not happy with the care this vet gave this dog. When we switched his vet we found out all the diagnoses this Vet has given the previous owner were wrong!! The dog went from 70 pounds to 40 pounds infections in its eyes and ears, And bacteria growing on his skin. This vet misdiagnosed everything, once we brought him to a new vet we found out he had stage four cancer. Instead of testing for any of this they just kept taking money after money every six months. Our dogs lymph nodes were the size of golf balls and that never once concerned this Vet. Our beautiful dog got robbed of his life due to the lack of care.I would like to edit. Below they said my dog did not go there but I have called and received all the vet records from this vet!

I had to have my cat seen recently when she was ill and the doctor and her technician Amanda were so gentle and willing to take their time with her, even though she can be a tough patient, to make sure she didn’t get stressed out. They treated her like one of their own animals and it ended up being the least stressful vet visit she has had. They were honest and fair with recommendations for diagnostics and treatment options and explained everything thoroughly so I could make a decision as to what was best for our situation and I didn’t feel pressured. Luckily she was able to come home with some treatments that Amanda did in the room for us instead of taking her away to the treatment room. I hope we never have to go back to the emergency room, but if we ever have another urgent illness with any of our pets, the only place we will go is back to AMC.

Cannot speak highly enough for the service that has been provided by the Animal Hospital of Nashua, both before and during the pandemic. My dog has been a client here for over 7 years, and the quality of care she has received has always met or exceeded expectations. I also truly appreciate the steps they have taken to ensure everyones safety during the pandemic, with parking lot appointments and tele-conferencing. The quality of care my dog has received during this strange time hasnt suffered, and I think in some ways (anxiety reduction, wait times, etc.) the service is even better. I dont mind waiting in my car while my dog goes in to see her veterinarian, and most of the time Im probably just in the way anyway! I actually hope that some of the protocols that are in place now are available after this whole COVID thing goes away. I so appreciate their approach. Keep it up AHN!

Vet rated 3.3 stars makes sense for my experience here today. I see that you have to text to check in now due to covid19. No reply back to confirm or anything, call to make sure, no one picks up. After several attempts I am told it will be over an hour due to an emergency, that’s fine. Hour and a half later in the car with dog who’s been throwing up for 6 days in a row, a car pulled up, and dog is taken in within 10 mins. I call to find out why this happened, I guess the dog was lacking oxygen according to the owners and it took priority. My dog who could potentially be poisoned or something underlying, wasn’t priority. I then watched a nurse go over to another mans vehicle who got there after me. Why was I not approached by a nurse or confirmed check in? Very unpleasant experience. I left and decided to find another emergency vet willing to care for my family.

They are always available as they have both a regular hospital and on site emergency care.In my experience with them they are very honest; depending on the need, will give you time to tell them issues over the phone and make sound recommendations without just telling you to come in every time, and they really care about animals!Every time we visit they make our appointment on time and we get all necessary care and support when asked. Just to make one last note - we live in Boston and still drive to Nashua to take our pup here, and when we get another sibling (very soon :) ) we will bring that dog to AHON as well.I cant recommend highly enough!

Ive had such good experiences with my pup Harley that I dont even know where to begin. From the 24 hour Emergency services to the regular vet visits and the surgery professionals, my girl has been treated as if she were family. She actually likes visiting the front desk staff and looks forward to seeing Sarah, Emma, Ashley, and Kathy. Some of the techs even come out from the back to greet her and even more impressive is that they actually remember her. Dr. Williams has been an integral part of her regular health and the advice from Dr. Cassista actually saved my dogs life. Her recent surgical experience with Dr. Zeitz and company went smoothly and they were super communicative even though I wasnt in town and helped her through recovery until I was able to pick her up. Even the office manager is involved in day to day and takes the time to greet people. If it wasnt for such an amazing team, I wouldnt feel confident in my pets health and well being and thanks to them, I know I have people who are care and compassion focused. Do not hesitate to bring your pet in because you will be receiving 5 star care from compassionate and kind people who truly love what they do.

Horrible, horrible money hungry owners. Talk about lack of compassion! Our dog was hit by a car. We knew he wasnt going to survive as he had a traumatic head injury. I carried him in, semi-conscious, explained what had happened. They carried him in the back room & wouldnt let me see him or be with him until I provided proof that my credit card could handle any possible expenses...?! My dog was terrified & physically hanging on by a thread and they needed to clear everything with a bank before I could be with him - WHAT?! Do you all remember the reason that you first went into this profession?! My brother was with me that day (also a dog owner from MA) and was horrified at their reaction. Unfortunately, something similar had happened to his dog and the vet was sympathetic & compassionate. He cared about the pet & the people. Please know that I completely understand that this is a business with great overhead and they need to be paid. They are in business to make money, as we all are, but this is not a clothing store.... There may be good reviews on here from other patients for general pet care but, when there is a life or death emergency dont you think the most important thing should be to have the owner & vet make a logical decision together and move forward in a classy manner knowing that this is a devastating & unexpected emergency? In recent years this clinic has undergone some extensive construction & decor changes so I suppose our pets will have to suffer until that expense has been paid down. Only giving 1 star since ZERO stars is not an option here.

Head Veternarian/Administrator/Charge personAnimal Medical Center of New England168 Dunstable RoadNashua, New HampshireJuly 28, 2020This letter is to inform you that I am making a formal complaint regarding Dr. Richard A. Williams, veterinarian on staff the evening of July 27, 2020. Dr. Williams displayed lack of compassion, inappropriate comments, lack of concern and misdiagnoses. On the late evening of July 27, 2020, my husband and I brought our family pet, Sadie, to the Animal Medical Center of New England. Our beloved Sadie began screeching in agonizing pain, hid under our bed, expressed loud, constant and uncontrollable wrenching sounds around 9 p.m. at our home. These symptoms occurred suddenly and without apparent cause. Sadie became inconsolable which lasted during our commute to the Animal Medical Center.Upon arrival to the Medical Center, a front desk staff member promptly brought Sadie in to the examination room while my husband and I waited in the outside parking lot due to Covid 19 regulations. Within 30 minutes?, we received a mobile call from Dr. Williams who reported that he provided a physical examination and that Sadie did not have a fever. According to Dr. Williams, he did not understand why we brought Sadie in to the clinic. I am the pet mom of 3 beautiful Australian Shepards and recognize when something is dreadfully wrong. I was shocked and appalled by Dr. Williams’s response when he suggested Munchausen syndrome. I informed Dr. Williams that something is seriously wrong. I know my Sadie and she never did that before. Dr. Williams’s stated that “I don’t feel anything is wrong but you have options, you can take her home and keep an eye on her or you can leave her here overnight for observation.” I did not want to take Sadie home as I knew something was seriously wrong with her. I previously observed staff members working at the Center that night who seemed attentive and caring to other animals so we decided let Sadie stay for overnight observation. Tuesday, July 28th we received a 7 a.m. call from the Medical Center informing that Sadie had a good night, without exhibited pain and that we could pick her up anytime. I was relieved that Sadie had a good night but know my pets and convinced that something is not right. On Wednesday morning July 29th my husband took Sadie for her appointment at her regular veterinarian requesting x-rays. According to this veterinarian, Sadie’s x-rays noted a piece of metal lodged in her small intestines which was the cause of her pain. Our hope was for Sadie to have x-rays at the Animal Medical Center of New England which did not happen. I will not recommend this facility to family and friends.Sincerely,Cathryn DeRosa

No xray was performed on my dog Sadie.Your Board-Certified Radiologist never took an xray and never sent a report. Check a copy of the bill! Would you like us to send you an x-ray from our qualified Board-Certified Radiologist showing a piece of metal in her small intestines.Next time get your facts straight before you repond to a valid complaint. I do not appreciate the comment from Dr.Williams response when he suggested Munchausen syndrome to my wife. We knew something was wrong and we are very concerned of the lack of compassion, inappropriate comments, lack of concern and misdiagnoses. Dr. Richard A. Williams owes us an apology for his comment to my wife. He insisted nothing was wrong with Sadie and stated that an xray was not needed. I have the bill in front of me and would be willing to send you a copy. No x-ray was taken as previously stated in your response to my wifes complaint. You do not have a report from the radiologist as an x-ray was not performed. That was upsetting as we have the bill. I do understand you have to respond and defend your business but this is unacceptable.Thank you for your lack of compassion!!!

1000 stars for the best Emergency Animal Hospital that I have ever been.On a Friday at midnight our 8 months old Female Lab found mouse poison bought by mistake by a family member and ate 8oz of Bromethalin. We found out she was eating poison by the ripped pieces of the box and I did not know what to do, being a dog owner for the 40 years of my life I never had mouse poison in my house and I was totaled unprepared without knowing what to do.A fast Google search and I called Animal Hospital of Nashua, Sharon picked up the phone and with Dr Pudwill quickly told what to do. I was able to make Ginger(the Lab) vomit all the poison within 10 minutes that she ate it, and within 30 minutes we were there at the hospital.I can credit them for saving the life of our beloved pet. What amazes me is that, before asking my name or how I was going to pay them, them ethics talked louder and they saved a pet. Keep in mind until then I was not a customer, they did not know who I was and had no way to charge me If I haven’t shown up.I have been a dog owner for all my life, many of the Emergency Animal Hospital I’ve been tried to take advantage of the emergency situation. Not Sharon and Dr Pudwill from Animal Hospital of Nashua, they are the best. They told what to do in a hurry at midnight before getting paid and with a chance of not getting paid.My family had lost 2 dogs by age in the same year, so you can imagine how sad would be to lost a 3rd.Thank you Sharon, Dr Pudwill and Dr Williams. You guys are the best.
