Visited on a Wednesday, late morning. I drove up from about 45 min away because I had heard they were a VERY large shop. As I am in need of a lot of different items that sounded like a good plan.On entering, it is indeed an impressive space, I estimate 10,000 sq ft ? maybe. It is very well lit and clean, shelves and display walls are orderly and well kept. That is where the good news ends however.I was in the store for 10-15 minutes and not a single interaction with staff despite my direct eye contact with several employees.Among the item I was looking for was bike shorts and jerseys. Even though this place is huge, they had one tiny rack of mens, and one tiny rack of womens clothing. They do however have 976 different water bottles, ***sigh***. The bulk of the space is taken up by well spaced racks of full max retail priced Treks and Bontrager (Bon-Trek-er) medicore accessories, (think Walmart Schwinn stuff with designer labels).As a lifelong bicycle tourist with 5+ decades of riding and bike building behind me, The overall feeling I got while leaving was abject sadness, thinking that this is the way cycling shops are going these days. I suspect that this is no longer a family owned business and is just a delivery point for the QBPs and Trek Incs of the world. There is a smartly dressed plaid cow however.. Pssst...I think hes the boss....
I recently found a bike to purchase about a 1000 miles away from me. Not a problem, Ive bought bikes farther away but the tough part was the seller would not pack or ship. Also had to be picked up! I contacted Goodales Bike Shop to see if they could handle this project. They were great! Very receptive to my needs. They took the time to pick up the bike and get it bike ready for shipping through Bike Flights. Great care was taken to insure no damage was done during disassembly. Packing was also fantastic. Took me an hour to unpack which is what I like to see. Dont want to open the box and dump out a bunch of loose parts and bike thats now all beat up. Nothing bounced around inside to cause any damage. Superb!!! Thats the biggest worry. I would highly recommend these guys for any biking needs. Very good guys. Thanks again Goodales!!! Craig
I went here in a hurry during a very short lunch break needing some last minute items for my first triathlon the next day. Seth helped me and he was extremely kind the entire time. He was informative and to the point. He helped me get exactly what I needed & out the door so I could make it back to work on time! I keep trying to locate an email address for goodales bike shop but it keeps sending me to the main Trek company info.How can you communicate with a company, if they have no email address? I also called their phone number to leave a message but only hear music
I only ended up Goodale’s because they happened to have the bike that I was looking for albeit and hour from where I live. What I can say after the fact is that I couldn’t be happier with having to take that detour. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. It was their mission to make sure that I was leaving with the right bike.I will forever make it a priority to continue going back to that shop for any routine maintenance, parts, future bikes, etc. I recommend this location to anyone.

I HAVE PURCHASED TWO MOUNTAIN BIKES FROM GOODALES BIKE SHOP NASHUA. THE PERSONAL IS VERY KIND, THEY MAKE ME FEEL TOTALLY RELAXED, THEY DO NOT PUT PRESSURE ON ME TO PURCHASE, THEY ALLOWED ME TO TEST THE BIKES FIRST, THEN WHEN I PURCHASE THE BIKES THEY TOLD ME I HAD 30 DAYS TO MAKE SURE THE BIKE WAS THE RIGHT ONE FOR ME. EVERYBODY THERE IS SO NICE, FROM THE SALES DEPARTMENT TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, SOMETIMES THEY HAVE SERVICE MY BIKES FOR MINOR ISSUES AND THEY DO NOT CHARGE ME.

An absolutely easy experience getting our E bikes reset up after a long move. They were able to quickly adjust my disc brake, rather than replacing it and gave both bikes a thorough check over. Walked in and out in less than a half hour. Will definitely be back for future repairs, maintenance, and purchases.
Welcome Corporate! Bye Bye Goodales !I called for a bike, if its in stock, I got the response its in stock and if you are interested will assemble it for you, 2 hours later, got a call, its assembled and ready to try. Well, you need to rush, if someone else comes and buys it, you will miss it (thats a new pressure selling culture of Trek (not Goodales) bike shop, its not Goodales bike shop anymore, they should change the name, I do not see the old staff here any more).Anyway, since, I was able to squeeze sometime during the lunch, I went to check the bike. Impression I got, its been on the floor for few days now, it didnt need any assembly other than paddles to try it out. When paddles were put on, I saw the problem, gears were not changing, chain was touching the front derailleur which means, it all needs to be fixed before I could try it and buy it right then and there. My Q it why rush the customer when bike is not ready and when the staff has not bothered to check it out before even calling the customer.Luckily, I didnt get any pressure selling call afterwards but no apologies either. It was a waste of my 90 minutes. I am done with Trek Nashua now. there are plenty of other options now on a short drive, will try them in future.
The service team is extraordinary. They are always willing to help. They ask the right questions and explain everything they want to do in detail to help you better understand the process. I love Goodales. They are by far my favorite shop.

Goodales is an excellent bike store. The store layout is nicely setup and fun to roam around and see all the different bikes and bike related products. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We needed some new tires and tubes for 3 bikes as well as a new set of pedals. They had what we needed in stock. I did not feel any pressure in making my purchases. The staff made sure we were well informed to make wise choices.(Thanks Jason) We chose to put the new bike parts on at home. One of the bikes tires were a very tight fit. We unfortunately pinched the inner tubes. We returned the next day and Goodales replaced the tubes for us and we decided to let them put the tubes and tires on while we waited. (Thanks Aidan) Our two experiences were quite positive. While waiting, I also got measured for a replacement bike seat by Seth. He said if it doesnt work out to bring it back. Judging by this experience I believe they stand behind their products. Dont hesitate to shop here. Undoubtedly youll want to come back for all your biking needs.

Great place to buy your bike and since it’s New Hampshire you won’t pay sales tax. The staff is courteous and helpful. Instead of pushing me into a multi thousand dollar bike they listened to what I would be doing and took my level of expertise into account and recommended a Trek brand. I walked out paying less than $1k. Thank you to the staff of Goodale’s in Nashua.

Came in to get some bike lights. Jerry was fantastic. Provided excellent and friendly, non pushy customer service. I told him about an issue I was having on my first outdoor ride of the season. He suggested I come and said they could likely fix it real quick. I came back two days later and Steve and Mike did just what Jerry said would happen- they adjusted a few things and off I went! Great service with a smile.

I brought my Marlin 5 in thinking I had to have the Crank replaced....told the tech my problem and he put it on the bike mount spun the crank adjusted the front derailleur and buddy boom all fixed.Asked him how much said nothing.Now some bike shops would say you need a new crank......so because of their Honesty I will always deal with this bike shop and no other.
The service staff I dealt with were professional, kind and personable. I purchased my bike from Goodales in either 95 or 96. It is in really great shape but now it rides like it is brand new. The work that was done was done very well.

Great place to buy a new quality bike. I recently got my daughter her 2nd bike and Katie was great to work with. Def made the buying experience for my daughter and I a fun one and they had all the accessories that we wanted. Ive purchased a bike myself before also and Im. Phenomenal customer service! I cannot say enough great things about Goodales Bike Shop, and especially Myles. I am new to bikes and called to get some information. Myles walked me through my options and made some suggestions based on what Im looking to do. I went in the next day and was fortunate enough to work with Myles again, who patiently walked me through the options, answered all my beginner questions, and waited while I tested out 3 different bikes. I finally chose the Marlin 6 (so excited!!) and had my dad pick it up with his truck. Since I wasnt there for the pick up, Myles sent me a follow up email to offer to answer any questions I may have about customization and using the bike. Ive never worked with someone better! The store is massive and theres a big parking lot to test ride the bikes. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend and cant wait to start using my new bike.

Went in to buy a helmet, grease and chain oil. There were plenty of people working there and maybe 3 customers. Waited in line for 10 minutes while 6 workers were behind the counter looking at the computer. I finally said “ does someone want my money “. They said hold on they were busy. There was a customer in front of me waiting even longer.Very disappointed. Goodales was great but now Trek totally sucks. Went to a little bike shop downtown and complained and he had a customer there that said he biked over in the rain last week and he was told to come back later for handle bar tape. They were too busy to help him then.I’m done with Goodales but not sure where to go now

I called with a very specific request- looking for affordable cycling shoes for my teenage son. I was greeted warmly, and politely asked to hold. After only a minute of waiting, I was told that there were two pairs left at an amazing sale price in my son’s size! I asked if they could hold a pair until I got out of work, and the sales associate said, of course. I arrived at the store and was greeted by every employee not already assisting a customer. When I purchased the shoes, I got cleats as well. Since these are going to be a gift, I asked if they could install the cleats now. Again, I was told of course, and was requested to bring my son back in to have the cleats fit to him after his birthday. I also LOVE that I can return these - full price return, if they don’t fit properly, since cycling shoes can be far more finicky than sneakers, and this is my son’s first pair. Would recommend this store to everyone!
I have edited a recent review of mine from one star because the store was ‘temporarily closed’ with no explanation as to why or when and if they would reopen. In these uncertain times, more information for customers is important.I’ve since learned the store was closed for renovations.There remains a lingering problem though; no one answers the phone and that seems to be due to the huge amount of business they are doing.I would recommend not going there on the weekend, it is packed.I would also ask the price before you have any work done, and be prepared to pay a premium for parts and labor.Let me end on a very positive note; these guys know bikes (especially Trek) and I am happy they are reopened.

My wife and I had a great experience buying eBikes at Goodale’s.We were promptly met and asked if we wanted any assistance, which we did. Angela asked about our purchase plans, and then what our experiences was with biking in general and with eBikes specifically. She tailored the information to the types of eBikes we were looking for and did not try to up-sell us.Angela explained the various types and target-uses of several models and then let us explore the options until we were ready to discuss a couple in detail. She used straight-forward language and avoiding any jargon. Once we identified a few eBikes we wanted to try, Angela prepped them and adjusted them to our personal needs. We had plenty of time to test each eBike, even being offered the opportunity for a longer test ride if needed.We never felt any pressure to make a quick decision or to buy more than we needed. When we were preparing for our first test ride and I started to don my helmet, when Angela saw my decades-old helmet she didn’t say anything but I could tell she was concerned about the age of the helmet. She didn’t pressure me and remembering that it’s good to replace helmets periodically for my own safety, I eventually came to the right decision to invest in protecting my health by buying a new helmet: Angela, thanks for trying to keep me safely riding for many more years.After the eBikes we selected were prepped for delivery, my wife made a passing comment about how her current road-bike had a particular piece of gear. Even though the sale was completed and paid for, Steve the Goodale’s eBike specialist, unbidden, attached the item to her new eBike for free. While not having the item was not a significant matter, I believe Steve felt it was important to ensure her Goodale’s experience was absolutely positive and did what he perceived was needed to make that happen.When we were considering how to transport eBikes, Myles another Goodale’s employee, suggested a solution to allow us to safely use our current bike-carrier as opposed to buying a new one. His no-cost recommendation was successful and we’ve confidently transported on eBikes on many trips since then.Many thanks to the whole staff at Goodale’s, and especially to Myles, Steve, and Angela. We’ll definitely recommend Goodale’s to anyone looking for a bike or an eBike!
I recently called ahead the the shop the day before I came into and asked to hold a bike. I called the next day and a representative named Bob answered the phone and made sure the bike was still on hold for me. When I arrived to the shop I was greeted by multiple friendly staff members and was pointed in the direction of Bob and walked right into him. Bob introduced himself in a friendly kind manner, then starting talking to me about the bike, the specs, purpose, etc. He went out back to grab the bike and brought it out to put it on a stand, which I thought was very interesting so that I could get a look at the bike off the ground, it really gives the bike a lot more perspective, things really stand out and shine. Test rode the bike, built right, no gear clicking, no skipping gears, everything was smooth. took a couple laps around the building. And came in and got accessories started, pedals, tube, shock pump, etc. while he was putting the accessories on the bike we got payment settled and situated, a whole stress free process, I never felt pressured at all throughout the whole process. some stores (car dealers for example) try and pressure for a bigger sale, not Goodales. After payment got done, they started what they call a “final check” on the bike which means, checking over gears, putting accessories on (pedals, etc). During they’re final check, a friendly employee came over and struck up a conversation with us, it’s amazing that stores like these connect with there customers. Walked out satisfied with a smile ear to ear on my face. Thank you

Yesterday I had a bike repair issue, as crowded as it was yesterday. Kaleb stayed with situation till we had a solution. I do appreciate always extra effort. I look forward getting my bike back and riding soon.
You drop your bike off. And two weeks later they still havent worked on your bike. Absolutely no courtesy calls. And when you call them for an update they lie to you by saying they will talk to the mechanic and get back to you.

Chuck the mechanic who worked on my Trek I bought there 20 years ago was audibly excited when he called to say my bike was “good as new” & ready for pickup - a WEEK sooner than promised! That stoked my looking forward to riding again after 7 years. GM Seth was helpful on the phone when I first called; as were Nick when I dropped the bike off & Rick in sales who helped me find a great helmet value. I’ve never in 59 years written a review. But after this year and all the things that have happened in our lives I feel it’s time. I want to thank Jason, Kayla and Seth for making our Christmas so beautiful for my children. Their knowledge and willingness to meet our needs was above and beyond. Goodale’s team on Christmas Eve showed up at our doorstep with my children’s bikes in Elf outfits and pointed ears along with bags of cookies. ‘This meant so much to the kids and to us! The staff is the reason I keep coming back and will not go anywhere else. They have a standard that is never compromised, and stands the test of current events. We went in a few months ago to fit both my girls and myself to a bike. Unfortunately when we came back, they were out of stock because if all the crazy business. They made sure to take the time to see what we ordered and find what would be comparable. These guys nailed it. We were able to get bikes that are better than the ones we had planned and there was little difference in pricing. Cant say enough. I am very happy that I will be having them take care if all our bikes
This was our first time buying a bike from Goodales. The process was smooth. I was happy to find a bike available during the pandemic and also have it assembled within a week. This shop used to be the spot and was great, but now that it was bought out the customer service and family feel of the shop has changed. I drove half an hour to come to this store and once I got there the guy told me a price almost double then what I was told on the phone an hour before. I get it your changing owners but why are services now increasing their cost substantially. Why now is it ok to lie to a customer and not even apologize for it. The store has lost its values and at this point it’s lost me as a customer.

My buying experience at Goodales Bike Shop Nashua could not have been better. I purchased a 61cm Trek Domane AL 2 GLO. First and foremost after hunting the new and used market place for a Cyclocross / Gravel Bike I believe you would be hard pressed to find a comparable bike in this price range. I had the bike fitted out completely- rack, cages, top bar bag, Camelback bottles, upgraded Bontrager tires, & pedals. The purchase was only the start. I also needed to ship the Bike to an FPO address with strict USPS size guidelines. The overall dimension of the frame box can not exceed 108. After hunting about the shop Seth found a child;s bike box that measured 107. However due to the size of the frame the crew needed that extra inch and modified the box so all of the frame fit exactly. The bike was completely disassembled to accomplish this task. I posted it fully insured today and my local postmaster was quite impressed how exactly the box met the guidelines. Seth and the crew did a fantastic job. This was the first bike I purchased at Goodales but it will not be the last!!! Thank again Goodales!!!!
