Made an appointment for me and my wife. Supposed to be a surprise. I specifically said to contact me. They contacted her to let her know that they had to move our time (out another month). Day of the appointment. I have received messages about checking in. We arrived on time only to find out that the situation was not resolved.If I had known ahead of time, I could have booked elsewhere. So disappointed, will never be bothered booking with this company again.
As for the therapists I think theyre all amazing, especially Sue!! But I am really bothered about my membership. After covid hit hard last year I was under the impression that my account was discontinued because I couldnt get another appt booked for several months out. Well you continued to charge me for 9 straight months without so much as a phone call to let me know. But if I was ever late on a payment how quick would my phone ring????? When I tried to cancel you said I have 60 days to use 9 HOURS!!! And on top of that I couldnt even give my wife any of my hours to use. So now I have to stay a member until my time is used and I will most definitely cancel. The woman who was on the desk yesterday helped me quite a bit and booked several appts for me. Its sad because I love the therapists and the treatment but I dont do business like this.

Honestly a lot less than what we were expecting. A very poor communication, to the point of not clearly informing an extra service in advance. My reservation was settled to a total of $70 dollars for a 60 minutes session. At the end, 10 dollars more were charged due to an extra service they provided. A very poor professional protocol I noticed too. Two minutes after leaving, I received a call telling that my gift card was not available to make the payment. We came back and the lady in charge of my case told me about an extra charge of $10 dollars for a service provided. I told her that in the call I was told something different. At the end, I ended up paying in cash the $10 dollars she was talking about. Definitely a very poor communication. Regarding the message session, according to my mother, they ended up providing about 40 minutes…. Hopefully these words serve to improve the quality of service! Hopefully 🙏
I’ve been a loyal member of Massage Envy for more than 12 years, and can’t imagine how I ever went 3-4 weeks before ~ without treating myself to a fabulous massage or facial! At this particular location, it’s no surprise that my (everyone’s!) favorite therapist (Naysean) is booked for months in advance, because he’s definitely THE BEST!! 😁💜

Front desk is a little discombobulated at times and isn’t always helpful information-wise but I’ve always had good massages and facials when I go! I have a membership and always like to see a different therapist just to try out different techniques. I’m a massage therapist myself and find it difficult to get treatment for myself so this is a great way to get in without too much hassle. They definitely book quickly which is difficult but overall I’m pretty happy! Muriel is fantastic as well and I always leave with my skin being so much better - shes amazing at what she does and I always enjoy her personality

The Massage Therapists are awesome here, but the management is an absolute joke. I have been here a few times to ask questions and get more knowledge about my massages I’ve had, and each time I’ve been here, the turn-over rate for the front desk is substantially high, and the assistant manager is rude, and always has an attitude every time I’ve been there. I’ve heard other members of the management talk poorly about their clients and it’s a huge disappointment. Its unfortunate what this place for management has come to, and I’d love to see the therapists here but I will not give this location any more of my money.
Jodi-Lynn is simply amazing! She listens and works with you to make sure you are getting the best during your time with her. She offers great advice for in between massages. Thanks for destressing my muscles!

Massage therapist didnt listen and didnt work work on the areas I had requested. Management took 2 weeks and 3 phone calls to finally call back and are refusing to do anything about it. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Always have a great visit here.James always does a great job and makes me feel comfortable during my visit. He listen well and adjusts to what is needed. Hes personable and a great masseuse. That makes it very hard to get scheduled with him because hes always booked.

I had James do my massage more than a year ago until we all got sidelined by covid. He still provided the same excellent job and listened to specific concerns
Was not a bad massage, added enhancement for 10 minutes and I think it took away from the time needed for a full body massage. The therapist did not massage legs or neck. However, for only 45 minutes of actual massage time out of the scheduled hour due to Massage Envy policies and the nature of the industry, I think my therapist did the best she could. I suggest Massage Envy up their game a little bit and schedule massages for 1 hour and 15 minutes so that a proper 1-hour massage can be given and therapist can do a complete full body everytime unless the client specifically requests “no full body”. Additionally, if you add on for enhancements ME should add that time to the massage so it doesn’t take away from a full body massage. I was charged more and felt like I was missing something from my massage.

Massage Envy changed my life! I am hunched over all day seeing patients so having back/neck problems comes with the trade. After one full session my pain was relieved for several days (which is remarkable for me). After each session I have gone longer periods with no pain in my back! It has been the most pleasant and relaxing experience all three times that I have gone. I will be a lifelong monthly customer!

This review is NOT based off of my experience with Muriel. Muriel created a WONDERFUL experience for me and is incredible at what she does!! I am giving Muriel 5 stars but massage envy themselves can have 1 star. This is because last weekend, for Mother’s Day, my husband bought me a facial, and they were advertising “buy one 60 min service, get one 60 min service” however that was not the case! The advertisement was posted in store and online, and it was “through may 9th”. When I arrived at my appointment prior to going in I asked the girl at the front desk if before I left I could schedule a day to come back to get my second service free and she said yes no problem! However after my service she wanted me to buy an additional service, and only then get another one free. So in the end I would have bought 2 services before getting a free one. She told me she wasn’t able to do the BOGO because my husband had bought the 60 min service the same day? This made no sense to me as the advertisement clearly stated bogo through may 9th, and it was may 9th! I work hard as a full time mom, and full time healthcare worker at the local hospital. I NEVER get a break. I was really looking forward to coming back for a massage for my Mother’s Day gift. Poor communication and false advertisement. I won’t be going back because of this!! Muriel, when you decide to leave massage envy give me a call and I will be a loyal customer!

I have been a loyal customer for a few years now and their professionalism has been going down hill. Their communication is the worst. I had a 1.5 hour appointment scheduled I got a text saying that my membership has expired and will have to pay $180 for a pre-paid massage. What a rip off. Will never go back there.
If i could give this place a 0 i would! If you want to spend money on a good massage, then i suggest you do it somewhere else. The management here is just terrible, please spend your money somewhere else

Over the past 3-4 years, I have been a loyal Massage Envy customer. We have primarily used Nashua but also frequented Methuen. I have 3 memberships that are billed monthly. At the start of covid, the billing stopped. Once the massage parlors were allowed to open again, billing continued. One day, I called to schedule an appointment for my son who is a paying member. He was not quite 15 yet so they denied him an appointment. Why does he have to pay if he can’t go? After not wanting to go for a few months due to safety concerns and length of possible exposure in a small room, I decided I no longer wanted to get massages. I called to cancel my memberships for the time being. We had over 8 credits paid for each by the time I cancelled. At $55 per credit, this is over $1300. They allow you only 2 months to use up your credits and then you lose the rest. I called the manager to see if there was anything I could do. I wanted to use them but how can I use 8 credits in 2 months? I will be there weekly which is ridiculous. They refused to help and basically told me TOO BAD!

Husband bought me 2 seasons in form of gift cards. Recieved 3 auto text messages days/ hours before appointment- first I had a message, filled out the questioner before visit than again answeard messages questions/ both time stating my non comfortable zones- he messaged those anyway ( most awkward mot relaxing). Next gift card I chose a facial because the message was not anything I wanted again. Left work early to go, same text messages, filled in tablets questions, staff reasked me same question, than the facialist tells me she can not preform facial as I had dermabrasion/ acid peel with in the last month....where was the notification at scheduling or auto text notifications stating not to have procedures a month or whatever out for the appointment?! Than just rude and confrontational to me. Certainly no apology or courtesy gift for wasting my time, requested a refund on gift card- denied. Thanks so much for an epic xmass/ birthday gift.

I wouldnt waste your time they just got rid of there best therapist so i am leaving. My wife canceled months ago because her appointments kept getting canceled because of unreliable therapist.
Not only was my appointment time changed with no explanation, the manager was rude when I said something. Poor management skills and evidently they need better front desk help. I would definitely not recommend going here. I can’t give a review without giving a star? I highly doubt that you have a 3.4 star average.
Had a gift card for a one hour massage. The gift card got lost in my email but I had a picture of the email I received from them for $75. They wouldn’t accept it and I had to pay on my own.I wouldn’t have mind paying if it was actually an hour massage. It was only 40 minutes and when I questioned it I was told they need 5 min for getting undressed, 5 min for getting dressed up again, and 5 min for paperwork (I was still 5 min short). I’ve never had a massage anywhere else where they deduct the time you pay for to process their paperwork and get ready. They should advertise that’s how they operate and I’d go pay less money somewhere else for a full hour massage. The quality of the massage was decent but this corporate chain has poor service and policies that don’t tailor to customer needs. I will not be returning.
I have been going to this location since 2018 without any issues, but Im very disappointed in my most recent experience with the Nashua Massage Envy location.When COVID started, I had an appointment that was cancelled but I was never told that Id continue to be charged each month. Fast forward to July and I start getting text messages and calls that my credit card on file has expired.When I call the Nashua location, Im given the following options and informed that my masseuse is not back yet due to being at a higher risk for COVID:1.) Pay the latest $65 monthly fee to get out of delinquency due to the expired card on file, then I can use the hours of service that have accrued since COVID started. I would need to continue paying each month, but increase the number of visits in order to catch up.2.) Pay the latest $65 monthly fee to access the hours I already paid for (but couldnt use due to COVID) and Freeze my account as to not continue accruing hours. This convenience costs another $20/month, so Id need to pay $20/month to use the hours that Ive already paid for, despite the fact that were in the middle of a pandemic and I cant even see my masseuse.3.) Pay the latest $65 monthly fee to access the hours I already paid for, then continue to accrue monthly hours moving forward, but give them to friends or family for another fee of $10/appointment.Im disappointed that a company would hold me hostage like this - I have several hours of service that accrued during a pandemic, but to use them, I need to pay Massage Envy extra money. On top of that, the sole reason I go to this location is my masseuse, but they are not even available due to being high risk for COVID.I have a call with the manager tomorrow - Im hoping we can figure something out here.
I cancelled my membership in April and was told I would have 60 days to use any remaining massages. After cancelling, I was actually charged in May. I let it slide and said no worries, I would use the massage. I was then charged AGAIN in June. They refunded the June charge, which Im thankful for, but now Im being told that my May massage actually falls under the 60 day rule and has to be used within 60 days from my cancellation date... even though THEY wrongfully charged me and now claim they cant refund that. Cool.

They are good at refunding, but if you dont pay attention to your bank account it can be missed very easily. I dont recommend to sign up any membership with them unless you are planning to keep your membership for life.
I just had a massage this afternoon from Laura. I got her just by random choice as my wife made my appointment & since I am new did not have a regular masseuse. Well NOW I do...she was great. I have a completely torn/detached rotator cuff & asked if she could concentrate on my shoulders & upper back. She was wonderful, professional & very personable as we chatted about dogs, and bars & restaurants we both knew. She will be my go to person for all my future massages...GREAT JOB Laura.
Received $150 gift card for Christmas plus a $50 dollar promotion card. Valid date was was for 03/31/17. I had called about this date as I had hurt my back. I was told no problem we will accept it. Well I had a appointment for today 04/01/17. They would not accept it now I just spent $280.00 dollars. I will never go back. No more Christmas gift cards from you people. What a place. Done find a better place people.

When I was contemplating cancelling my membership I decided to put it on hold for 6 months, asked if I could cancel it right before being billed again after 6 months if I chose to not continue service. Was told I could with no repercussions I made sure to ask if I would bd charged. But then here I was coming to cancel my membership and because there is a 10 day processing period I will be charged for the month I am trying to cancel it on. I was extremely disappointed with this because I was told differently 6 months prior. But they are just all about the money and cannot do anything about it. So another month paid for literally to cancel it. I get it but had I not been told incorrect information at the beginning I would have come in sooner to cancel my account so I could avoid being billed.

If I could give a 0 I would. My boyfriend and i booked a couples appointment weeks ago and had to rearrange and take Personal days (of which he only gets 3) for this appointment. I just got a call, 3 hours before the appointment, saying that my massage therapist had called out so the appointments needed to be changed. I understand that her children were sick and that she couldnt go in, but I dont think its fair that no one else could cover the appointment. We have been looking forward to this for a long time as we both work physically demanding jobs with difficult schedules. For them to offer no other option or compensation is so disrespectful of the time we are now losing from our jobs. Not to mention the disappointment.
If i could give this place less than a 1 I would. Im so disappointed with the customer service here. I figured it would be a nice place to sign up for but I was wrong. I was charged when I should not have been charge. When I asked that it be reversed they instead charged me again. I was very upset. They reversed 1 charge but not the other. This happened 1 month ago. Ive tried talking to the manager and she just keeps on saying I did try to refund it. Ive since tried to get her on the phone over 7 times and apparently she only works a half a day cause they always says she gone by like 230. This is been going on for over a month. Now im stuck in a membership I cant get out of and this place has my credit card info. I dont trust them I have no faith in them and guess how many times anyone has tried to call me to see if this was resolved... 0 zero times. Some great customer service they have there. They have done wrong charges on my friends account as well. The front desk staff are not friendly and approachable at all. And when I finally got the manager on the phone she said I will have to forward this to the regional manager and you have to bring in a copy of your bank statement.... I prepaid for my service but I have to bring in my bank statements so you guys can give me back what was taken without my consent? This place is a joke. Please think twice before giving them your bank info.
Love Nicole but not a huge fan of the pricing.$55 for the first visit and then it goes up to $95 unless you get suckered into a one year plan. They are VERY hopeful that you will sign up. Its a bit much after a relaxing massage.

I called in the morning to book an appointment. One of the workers, Angelina, said, I need a card on file to hold your appointment. Later on in the day, I had a family emergency and called 2 hours in advance to cancel the appointment. No one picked up and it kept sending me to voicemail. I finally called priar to the appointment and they just said, Okay. We apologize. We were busy. Next day, I check my account and they charge me FULL price for cancellation of my appointment. I didnt even know there was a cancellation fee! Angelina did not inform me of their so called POLICY. I called the manager and he said, 24-Hour Notice. How am I supposed to let you know in 24 hours if I booked the appointment the same day?! But, they decided not to give me my money back.. Its funny how the girl I set my appointment with, barely knew what she was doing. The workers even admitted to new people working. Theyre very unprofessional. I talked to my bank about it and Im seeking a lawyer. This is not a place you wanna go!

Place terribly difficult to arrange for couples massage. As a result we stopped our membership. We had one final massage to use and could not get in. I broke my back and was unable to use the massage. My wife and I decided to give it to our son...but the massage had expired...one damn excuse after another. For a few dollars more, you get true quality from innovations...absolutely day and night comparison...never again ME....never again!UPDATE FROM MY ORIGINAL POST:As one can tell, I’d given up on this place but the wife had not. She called back and insisted we get our last massage. Ended up wasting it on our son who forgot about the appointment. So to ME’s defense, they were willing to work with the customer...unfortunately, I still would be unable to recommend the place...sorry ME.

I have been suffering from back pain for a long time (back surgery soon) and I had a massage at another place the previous week, my very first pro massage! A week after my massage at the other place I had a bad pain day and tried to get an appointment but was unable to get one quickly, so I booked an appointment at Massage Envy. The massage I had the week before was in a whole different class, much better than Massage Envy, in fact I would call what I got here a back rub not a massage. Additionally at Massage Envy I was required to pre-pay, treated like a number rather than a person and every thing was extra i.e aroma therapy, foot massage, etc... I would never go back to Massage Envy again, I do not want to knock the people they were trying to be helpful I do not feel they know what they are doing!
Absolutely the worse Massage Envy salon EVER!Anyone that answers the phone cannot help you, everything has to be handled by a manager that is never around and takes two days to return phones calls. Appointments are often not scheduled properly or you arrive and are told, “Oh I’m sorry you don’t have an appointment,”

Membership fraud - billing continues even after my bank intervened and processed my claim for fraud by Massage Envy. Beware of their membership program.
