I live in CT and gave them my code to my garage so they can maintain my A/C. I came twice to Florida with a brand new A/C unit recommended by them. Two times I came down with no A/C and they charged me the second time to fix it. Meanwhile paid close to 6,000 dollars for a new A/C that keeps breaking down. Not good business !!!

Key to Cool customer service is hands down the best experience I’ve had with any type home repair/service company. My old A/C unit was failing, 12 years old, and they came out to service. Turns out there was a coolant leak within the system and they reviewed three options for repair based on where the leak was.....in the line, in the compressor, or in the air handler/condenser. The tech was quick to say that they would be happy to service the problem regardless of which way I chose. With the age of the system I chose to replace the system. After receiving their estimate I did some comparison shopping, and although they weren’t the cheapest, they were a long ways from the most expensive estimate I received. After deciding to go with them, they refunded the original service call charge, and came back by to put an interim coolant charge in my existing unit to keep me cool until I got the new unit....there was no charge for this.The installation crew were, on time, courteous, and answered any questions I had....in a professional manner.In addition, they changed the air intake from the bottom in the old unit, to the front in the new unit. The improvement in airflow was such that on occasions the AC output is enough to turn the blades on my ceiling fan in the bedroom.Suffice it to say that I am impressed with this company and will not hesitate to recommend them or use their services again.

When I tell the technician that I want the air condition fixed I mean fixed. He indicated that I did not want Dye, but just refrigerant, no mentioned of dye was ever said, because I did not want his service policy that seemed to be the end of our conversation. I specifically told him that I wanted the leak fixed, just adding refrigerant that was going to leak out again was not fixing the problem.

I have had a maintenance contract with Key to Cool for many years. They have always been professional, thorough and friendly. Recently I had need of a true soft start for the compressor. They researched the requirements and developed a solution, ordered the part and installed it. It worked great and solved the problem I had.

I have used Key to Cool for many years. They are always responsive, reliable, respectful, professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. They have always been able to address whatever concerns we may have had, whether it was a routine maintenance or a major repair.

We had issues with our unit not cooling. We had a maintenance service 2 months ago and the Freon loss since then has been huge. We had our first tenant of the season come in and call their first night as the system was not cooling. Manny came within the hour on a Saturday night and recharged the system. He told us we had a leak that was going to go - just don’t know how quickly. Could be overnight or weeks. They scheduled a replacement ASAP as we couldn’t risk another complete failure of the compressor for our current tenants.

I belive the maintenance was done ok however the serviceman did not turn on the system. System was off for a week and the situation could have been very bad but a friend went in to check and turned it on. May be looking for a new service company. Excellent service man.

Had techichian come to check my air conditioning. He explained that my WI-FI is not set up for my thermostat to adjust with my phone. I explained that I do not know how to do that and I asked him if it was required. He informed me that some people control there thermostat with there phone for settings. That was informative for me.The problem with that is I am not that technically qualified to set that up. I’m trying to find out from how to be able to understand how that works. I just changed my cell phone carrier and so I’m going to have to have someone show me how to do that.He did explain some people don’t use that feature and i will find someone to help set that up.Thank you for the service.

Appointment was set up, tech Wes E. called approx. 30 minutes before arrival, and was on time.He checked system out very throughly, then sat down with us to explain his findings in detail, in a way that we could understand completely. He then provided recommendations as to the problems we were experiencing, and how we could proceed to correct. An additional follow-up inspection after some steps were implemented was also another experience that we were completely satisfied with. Both myself and a neighbor (who referred them to me) have been very impressed with this company, and the way they operate.

You came and looked at my mini split system and advised with correct vital information to me about my situation that is saving me alot of issue/heartache/money down the road. My original installer has ordered the correct condenser unit for the 2 units in my Motorhome (without issue). Key2Cool did a great job replacing out nearly twenty year o0ld A/C system in Naples Florida. They did everything well, on -time and explained things every step of the way.I would use Key2Cool again without a doubt.

Had an issue where my a/c didnt work, called several companies and Key to Cool was the only one who stayed on the phone with me to confirm an appointment time. They explained that with a service contract of $ 145.00 I would get 2 service calls a year and cleanings. Plus a discounted emergency service call for $54 instead of $69 and a 15% discount on parts. When the service tech arrived he discovered my capacitor had blown the part would be $ 189 but with my new discount was $147. I was very relieved that it only cost me that little after several people told me to expect that my condenser probably went and would cost about $ 5000 to replace. After the new part was installed my the tech went into the attic to inspect my air handler, he discovered that my fan motor was wired incorrectly and was only blowing on low speed. After he made the corrections my a/c never put out that much air. In the summer my a/c would kick on around 10 am and not turn off till around 11 pm. And I usually keep my air set at 82 degrees. Now my house went from 89 degrees when he arrived to 78 degrees in about 3 hours. They did suggest as all other companies do, to have my ducts and evaporator cleaned for about $ 700 but was not pushy about it. And Im sure I should get it done after 14 years of living here. I definitely would recommend Key to Cool

I called 4 different A/C companies (all who had been referred by friends or neighbors) & I found Keys to Coll to be the best value. Their yearly maintenance was almost HALF the price as one of the other companies. The tech didnt try to sale me anything (even tho my unit is 12 yrs old!!!). He simply said what it was going to cost to get it back up & running. Other companies had tried teling me it couldnt be fixed. I even saved 15% off my bill by signing up for their maintenance program, which I was going to do anyway. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

HughDowns did an excellent service call for us today and was very friendly while he worked. Wes has also done good work for us so it will be hard to choose the next service professional when the time comes. But we cant go wrong with either of these two.
