Elite Landscaping installed landscaping in my back yard next to my patio. They worked with me on a couple different design options and prepared a couple different estimates. The landscape materials (roses and shrubs) were of high quality, and the quote was very reasonable. I am going to hire them next spring for lawn maintenance and mowing.
I had been frustrated with lawn service companies in general. Primarily with the quality of work and total lack of communication. After much research, I contacted Alex Martinez of Elite Landscape Group. Alex is truly a breath of fresh air. He is a real partner. His crews are polite and responsible. Communication is prompt and responsive. Elite not only provides full landscape services for us, but also performed the laying of new sod for our entire front and side yards. I couldnt be morepleased with Alex and his company. I am looking forward to a long lasting relationship.
Alex Martinez and his team cleaned out a whole back yard that was choked with out-of-control buckthorn weeds and dying trees, and then installed new sod. Work was estimated at a good price and completed quickly and professionally. Im so happy with the quality of service and follow-up from this company. Highly recommend contacting them for work and plan to keep using them for lawn services.
Hired Elite to fix another lawn companies horrible job and Elite did an amazing job and it looks so much nicer than the other companies work. They fixed our paver walkway, drains, and sod edging and also took out trees and then laid fresh sod In their place. I also hired them for lawn services and they are on time every week and pick up all grass clippings. Great work!
I choose Elite simply because I walked past one of our neighbors and they were doing great work so I gave them a call as our garden was in a terrible state - really overgrown and in poor condition. They responed really quickly and gave me a very reasonable quote for the amount of work required. The arrived and worked quickly and were so tidy and respectful. We are beyond pleased with the finished job - it has completely transformed our garden. Would not hesitate to recommend Elite. They are now my regular lawn care team.

I was visiting a relative of mine here in Naperville. I kept commenting to my relative about how nice their landscaping and yard maintenance is. I talked about it so much she told me I should write a review lol. So I did. Wish this company was here in my area, Id hire them in an instant.

I was never told about this previously, there had never been a contract with this company outside of the one for snow removal, there was no way for me to know what this was. I called their office to ask (which they almost never answer the phone) but I got someone and she told me it was to pick up leaves and trim perineals. I have no mature trees, no leaves were present in my yard, and none of my plants have been trimmed- all of the dead flowers and leaves are still covering them. I emailed and asked this to be removed because of these reasons, which they agreed to with no further explanation. Now I called last week to close my account because I didn’t want to work with a company that put made up charges on my bill. I paid off the balance including a portion that was on an invoice I had not seen yet. The woman stated that I had 4 times of snow removal which sounded excessive but I had been traveling and had no way of knowing if they had come or not. I paid this. The next day I get the paid invoice sent to my email and two of the dates are Dec 29 and Dec 30 – we were home at this time and not traveling and I specifically remember my driveway being covered in snow. We came home from travel on the 29th and arrived less than 30 minutes after the snow had started. I was astounded with how much snow was in my driveway compared to my neighbors and assumed Elite had not come. It snowed all day. The next day my driveway was still covered and I kept waiting for Elite to come. It did not snow at all on the 30th. Called the office, no answer. Eventually at 2pm I hired someone else to come do it for me (it took a good 20 minutes to clear the driveway between a truck, hand shoveling, and salt). Then I find out on that invoice that I paid them for BOTH of those days! I called and the woman looked at her “reports” again and said they came around 4 am each day. I asked why I couldn’t tell and had to hire someone else because there was still so much snow. No explanation. I emailed the owner, Alex, and expressed my concerns and told the whole story and said that I was tired of feeling ripped off by them. He responded that “we are also tired of you not wanting to pay your bill in full every single time!” This is one of the most unprofessional things I’ve seen/heard from a business owner. If a service that I asked for is performed and performed well I am beyond happy to pay my invoice as soon as I receive it. I consistently paid every single bill from last year up until this month when I started having trouble. He told me he would not refund these two days of snow plowing. He then brings up all of the “breaks” he’s given me like all of the times he replaced sod for free (once because it was the fault of his company, and once more, NOT FREE, that was my fault -a burn incident with a fire pit- that I PAID FOR) and the fall cleanup (which was still never explained). I responded to this with screenshots of our past emails with the quote that I paid, the discussion of the snow plow incident, etc. No response. I send one more email saying that I plan on contacting the BBB and reviewing his business online for how this has all been handled and the quality of service received. HE RESPONDED WITH A LAUGHING EMOJI and nothing else. This is the OWNER of this company.Other things to note – They charge $45 each time for snow removal in the driveway plus $10 more for sidewalks. The new company I have found to work with charges $20 total. Extremely overpriced. You can never get anyone on the phone when you want to pay your bill and the invoices (which are emailed) do NOT come consistently every month and sometimes you have to call to get your balance. And the best part – their website PROMISES in big letters a 100% SATISFACTION GAURANTEE.
