I got my mac book fixed at mac book md, they said it would take 2-3 business days it took 2 weeks and by the end the mac book was working like a charm. I took it to school a month later and then the problems started happening, it would shut down on its own and the fan wouldnt stop running which were my problems when i brought it in.not very happy considering i am now screwed in des moines iowa with no mac book at the beginning of a semester in which i have 2 zoom classes.

Called them after being quoted a ridiculous price from Apple and another tech repair store to fix my screen. It wasn’t cracked but the colors were blurring together and I couldn’t see anything on the screen, even tho it turned on and off. They fixed it quickly (in about a week) and at a price that didn’t break the bank! 10/10 would recommend

The touchpad on my daughter’s MacBook Air stopped working all of a sudden. We did not want to go to the Apple Store because it can be very expensive, and MacBook MD was the most affordable option we found by a long shot! When I first contacted, they gave me an estimate right away. They arranged to get the replacement part. They stayed in touch and informed me when the part came in so that we could get the laptop repaired as soon as possible. The service itself was short. For my situation, it only took 20 minutes. My daughter had her laptop back in no time, so she could do work again. I would recommend MacBook MD to everyone!

I needed a new battery for my MacBook Pro and found it impossible to work with Apple since many of their stores are closed for covid. The ones that are open require an appointment and since Im traveling, MacBook MD was my only choice.They gave me a new battery in the same day which was amazing, since I currently work remotely as well. These guys rock! Im super appreciative of their service and highly recommend.

We had several systems repaired with them. One in particular will for ever ward me from ever using this company again. They claimed it needed logic board repair and a battery. We paid for the logic board and replaced the battery ourselves. The replacement battery, which was a brand new apple certified part, caused the same problem the old battery did, which was to short the motherboard and cause it to fail. We sent it back for them to repair again. This time they demanded they use their own battery to repair it (off branded, non apple certified part) and we paid them (again) for the repair. They then started claiming the motherboard was Unrepairable and needed some kind of rare part, which they didnt have... This entire case was strung along over the course of 6+ months in which i was forced to repeatedly call and badger them for updates, most of the time their response was I dont know, ill call you back and then Id never get a call back. Finally, after almost 9 months, the system is repaired, but now they claim the keyboard has mysteriously stopped working. There was nothing wrong with the keyboard when we sent it in. I was really happy with the service on the other laptops they fixed, but i am 100% done being jerked around. They refused to refund any of the money for our still yet unfixed laptop and dared to ask for more to finish the job up after 9 months of this nightmares customer service? Absolutely not. Done.

My computer works like new. The repair was fast and the cost was reasonable. I highly recommend.

I was a little nervous getting my laptop fixed with anyone other than Apple at first because of the horror stories you hear about stolen pieces and parts, inability to repair, repair time taking too long, etc, but MacBook MD really did a wonderful job!I was skeptical at first because all they had was my number and I drove to Yorkville to drop the laptop off and I didn’t leave my name or anything, so I was wondering how they would know which laptop is mine without any info on me. They do the work out their house.But the price was MUCH better than Apple’s and it took them TWO DAYS, I was floored! I had the laptop in no time and they said I can pick it up whenever I want, even in the evening which is so perfect if you work late. Plus a 6 month warranty! THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Had my logic board replaced on my 2012 MacBook Pro. It has been night, and day in performance. Was let down by geek squad and Genius Bar. Genius Bar said they wouldnt work on anything older than 5 years, and tried to sell me a new laptop. MacBook MD fixed it for a reasonable price. Now it is running smooth with a 6 month warranty.

Unbelievable!I had spilled some water on my MacAir, and it stopped turning on. I took it to Apple Store twice. The first time around I was told that it was a security issue, the second time I was told that the logicboard had to be replaced for $500.I then decided to take it to my friends repair shop. He told me he needed 2 weeks to figure out what the problem was, and if he would able to fix it. Two weeks later I got the news that it couldnt be repaired, and the logicboard must be replaced.Since I didnt want to spend almost as much money as the cost of my computer, I decided to try MacBook MD. Not only did I hear back from them the same day they received it, but they repaired it that same evening! Had my mac the next day working as new! So happy!!
