Great service providing great equipment

I brought my tractor mower tire/wheel to a local shop in NJ to get an inner tube put in. After 6 days of waiting, I took the still flat tire back and went to Precision Mower.Even though Precision had a 3 day backlog of repairs, they said that theyd do it any day while I wait. It took Precision only 15 minutes (yay!) to do the repair. Thank you guys.

This place is great. Friendly, nice and they have all the nice equipment. I tried on the stihl br800, the echo and the redmax 8550. Prices are average for dealer. Also got to feel how heavy hedge trimmers are, will definitely buy a lighter one for my home use.

Went to 3 other Husqvarna chainsaw dealers prior to dealing with Precision. I wanted a 550xp Mark 2, which is a professional grade chainsaw. I didnt expect every dealer to have this saw in stock so I expected that it would have to be ordered and picked up another day. The dealers I went to prior to Precision immediately tried talking me out of the saw I wanted and into a lesser quality saw, clearly because thats what they stocked. It was annoying to say the least. I finally went to precision and spoke with Eddy and told him what I wanted. He said no problem but he doesnt stock it, which was fine. He wrote me up a receipt and said hed call me in a few days. A day later, my saw was ready to be picked up, all assembled and filled. He didnt try talking me into a Stihl or lesser quality Husqvarna saw that he stocked, he just ordered what I wanted. I will be doing business with them again, pleasure to deal with. If you do buy a saw from them, and want to assemble it yourself from the box, make sure you tell them that when ordering.

I live on the NJ/NY border and stumbled onto Precision Mower after many disappointing trips to local Bergen County independent lawnmower retailers and repair shops only to be disappointed to hear part not in stock, we will have to order it for you, it will be about a week.Not with Precision, very rarely do they not have basic or a known wear part in stock.The parts manager Ed is knowledgeable, efficient and personable.In speaking with Ed and other staff within Precision, I have always got sound advice to my questions, without the feeling of a negative attitude, or we do not have time to answer.I am a retired home owner with equipment that I like to repair myself and Precision Is where I will shop, not only because of their extensive line of in stock parts, but also the knowledgeable staff members!

My husband and I went there looking for a Lawn Mower. Ultimately we purchased a BobCat. Precisions pitch is brand new straight from the box and delivered to your house assembled. Well, the Outdoor Rusted, Weathered, and used for all we know, actual machine was delivered to our home. Just all cleaned up.I suspected this might happen so at the time of purchase I took picture of all the serial numbers and tags on the Outdoor Display model so when ours was actually delivered we could ensure we were getting a BRAND NEW one as was agreed and we paid for. After checking, every freaking number & plate matched up. My Husband called asking what happened. He was transferred to two people who basically would not directly answer if we in fact received the Lawn Mower that had been sitting outside for ages, weathered from snow, salt, people touching it, it might have even been used. I expected them to apologize or be honest and give us what we paid for. I surely hope come the Spring when we actually use this supposed new machine it works and has no quality issues. I am very disappointed in their service and lack of honesty. If you do go to Precision I’d double check you aren’t getting the worn machine sitting outside.

I went to Home Depot and ended up returning everything - chainsaw, leaf blower and trimmer. I went down to this shop and spent the extra money on quality equipment. They are true professionals. Great people who know what they are talking about. I simply refuse to go anywhere else for lawn and landscaping equipment. You want the real deal? Go visit them!Edit: Learning how to use a stihl chainsaw is a bit of a learning curve. I have had to return to the shop several times since the first post. Service and knowledge is better then my first post says.

The owner is quite slick and quick to explain how the repair you were requesting doesnt pay and the purchase of new equipment from him is the prudent way to go. Whatever you do, do not leave any deposit money for an estimate - you may never see that money again.

I bought a spark plug from them and told them that the price was kind a high and he told me well don’t don’t come here go someplace else

Some of the worst people Ive ever had the misfortune to do business with. They lied from beginning to end and then misrepresented the problem to the manufacturer which denied a warranty repair on a brand new chain saw. I went to the store to take it to a different dealer and had an exchange with the owner who repeated all the lies and misrepresentations. When I called him a jerk they gave me my still broken saw and escorted me to the door telling me if I came back they would show me exactly how the chain saw worked I assumed they meant on me!!!
