I just wanted to ask a simple question if what they recommended for software took 15-30 minutes for them to outsource my call to wherever it landed. Wanted me to go on my computer and link it to them, then they wanted all my info. Anyplace else and its called a scam! Why is it legal with them? I could have driven to the store and asked in person! What happened to customer service! Cant accept calls anymore! Rediculous I refuse to ever give them another dime!

Total Tech plan is a joke. Took my laptop for a repair, they stated that I needed to purchase a part for it. With the help of the geek squad member, I went ahead and purchased the part for it from Newegg. Once I received my part, they opened the package just to tell me that they can’t fix it at the store and they would have to send it off to a different state for repair and the part I purchased for $90 would not work. The part I purchased was no longer returnable because geek squad broke the seal and opened it. On top of it I had to pay the $85 shipping fee. Days go by and I still haven’t got a call on what’s going on, so I went ahead and called them myself to find out that it would be $450 for the repair and supposedly they couldn’t get a hold of me and shipped the laptop back to Nampa location without fixing it. What a joke and a terrible service. I’m already out close to $200 and for what? Rip off. Still stuck with my broken laptop and spent $200 on literally nothing.

So far, I am not seeing the value in the Total Tech plan. I took my computer in on Tuesday morning for issues I was having after a Microsoft update (which corrupted my work email). Got it back Thursday night, but email is still corrupt. Tried to call, but waited over 32 minutes before I hung up (still had not talked to anyone). Tried the chat...the Tech said hello and that he would assist me...still waiting for a response from him over 30 minutes. So, in person does not good, calling does no good, online chat does no good. Not sure what the Total Tech package is any good for.

Rude rude rude! This is my third experience with geek squad and every single time I have walked out wondering what the hell is wrong with the youth of America (Im only 35). instead of explaining to me why they couldnt fix my computer, the guy just said we cant touch that computer it has Microsoft account on it....meanwhile I discussed the issue over the phone and they said no problem bring it in. So instead of helping me find a solution they basically didnt even offer to try. This is after they cost me a laptop in January. It is possible to give geek squad negative Stars I would. Such a waste of money, time, effort.

Geek Squad is awesome, I signed up for the annual program and have already saved an amount equal to the annual fee. agents were knowledgeable, efficient, helpful and friendly. Based on my future needs I can see saving a huge amount of money on this program.

I was on hold for 15 minutes before I spoke with an actual person. When I did, Teresa asked me to explain what my issues were with my computer. I was barely 1 sentence in when she very rudely stopped me mid sentence, to tell me i was talking too fast and to slow down. I apologized and explained my issue again slowly only to be interrupted for a second time asking if there was a popup giving me messages, then she promptly hung up while i was answering her question. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service at this location.

If I have an appointment to pick up my computer, I would hope that someone would have the common decency to at least call me and let me know it is not ready. Instead, I got told that when I arrived for my appointment. That is some poor service.

Great experience! My MacBook Pro, in its old age, couldnt handle the latest OS download and I was stuck. I couldnt even login to access my email, pictures, files- anything. And for a millennial, thats torture. These guys were friendly, informative and had my MacBook back to me within 7-8 hours instead of the two days they told me it make take in some cases.Lesson learned: wait at least six months before installing any OS and go to Geek squad if I have any problems with my computer. :) Thanks guys!
