I was referred to this company by a friend and he did not lead me astray.Pros:-They were very transparent in their pricing structure and how much it could cost if things didnt go according to plan. (My car had some marring/swirls that required a 2 step paint correction, they explained exactly what to expect should it come to that)-Communication: These guys called me if something was going to cost more and explained the why, which as a consumer is very important to me. They also sent me some progress pics and videos, I felt like they were very involved in the process and it was very refreshing to see in the valley.-The People: I met Brandon, Bryce, Trey(Spelling may be wrong). These guys were personable and easy to get a long with.-The finished Product: My car went from having swirls in it, to it being hard to tell that had ever happened. Wow, we just received our car back after having it detailed by the team at Gear Head Detailing and I could not be more pleased with the results! Our car is like new again. We had spilled some particularly nasty things in the back seat- among the items, hot buttered lobster and pizza grease- and the seats are now sparkling clean after the Gear Head team went over them. I was particularly impressed at how well the team was able to remove the dog fur not just from our seats, but from our center console, doors, and other areas as well. The customer service from Spencer and the team was above and beyond. I highly recommend Gear Head Detailing and will be a repeat customer!

Brought my car in to be detailed and have ceramic coating applied. When I arrived at appointed time they were not sure why I was there and no one went over what was to be done. When I picked up the car it still had specs of paint from raod stripes. When I asked about it he said it could come off with paint thinner, I asked if that would remove the ceramic. He wasnt sure and said he would text or call me. Still havent heard from him. When asking about the specs and so.e of the shallow scratches he said he was told I was on a budget and not to call me. I mentioned to him I did not know I was on a budget. Nice shop just not the customer service I needed.Follow up... Gear head reached out and removed the paint specs. I appreciate the extra effort. The car looks great and love the shine.

I reached out to Gearhead as Ive seen their reviews/post for a few years and their quality looked and seemed exceptional. I needed the exterior detailed on my 2011 F350, it was weathered and has seen some use.My main concern was getting the old adhesive off the paint where the factory emblems, and moldings used to be (recently removed). The truck looked exceptionally well at first glance on initial pickup.Once I opened the door to get in, I quickly noticed they did not wash the door jams, not sure if thats part of the service, but EVERY detailer Ive ever used, this is standard, and for the $500 dollars, I felt this should be done.I also noticed the windows were poorly cleaned and there is adhesive that wasnt removed from the paint, that I later removed with good gone and about 2 minutes of elbow grease.Overall very very disappointed in the finished product, as the attention to detail absolutely wasnt there. For $500 dollars I felt I would have received better quality from ANY other reputable detail shop at a fraction of the cost

I dropped my truck off on a Monday afternoon knowing I wouldnt need it for a few days. I figured I would give the guys time to get the truck done without me breathing down their necks. Tuesday late Morning I received a text with a screen shot of a before and after spot on my 2019.5 Ram 2500. I was shocked how good the small spot looked.Wednesday I received a text indicating my car would be available after 2PM. when I arrived, I walked into the office area and saw my car in the garage and was totally amazed. It didnt look as good coming off the lot!! It is a 2019.5 and the amount of dust and water spots was ridiculous. I couldnt get those spots off when I tried myself. I was afraid the 1 year old Truck would have permanent paint and water spot damage.I couldnt be happier with the end result. Literally on the ride home I had people actually looking at the vehicle as I drove by. That alone made me know my belief it was awesome was supported by others!I highly recommend Gear Head detailing. Brian is awesome! Before I had PPF put on my car, he met with me to make sure I didnt have any scratches on the car and buffed a couple of areas. After the PPF was installed by Autoshades, he applied ceramic coating to the entire car and my wheels. He even treated my windshield so that any water will slide right off. Hes extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and answered all of my questions. This Hellcat is my dream car and I wanted to make sure it stayed in pristine condition. Ive had Brian detail several vehicles over the last year with a wide range in value, no BS just excellent results. Got my new Mustang ceramic coated right after I got it. For me, that was the right decision to make. The finish has stayed pristine and amazingly bright. Washing is easier than hand washing a car that hasnt been coated. Im thoroughly pleased with the result and Brian was super easy to work with. I highly recommend getting it done for those who really care about keeping the finish in factory condition for years to come with a minimal effort to maintain it.

I own a roofing company and I wanted a coating on my truck to protect the graphics that I just had put on. It’s like a clear Teflon coating. It’s rained for the last couple days and you can’t even tell. Job looks great and was done fast.

We had an Opti Clear Coat put on our Tesla Model 3 in July 2018 and its been so great for washing and protection. The whole process was easy and now its a breeze to keep our car clean. We dont even need to use water from a hose to wash it if we dont want to! The paint is protected and super shiny and glossy when clean. It looks like a new car every time we wash it. Highly recommend Brian and his company Gear Head. We drove from Boise and I would do it again in a second.

Cleaning my car is a breeze and as long as the dirt doesnt blow around when it rains.. the rain is a free car wash now. Brian even made sure I didnt spend more on my detailing than I needed to.. I had my X5 polished and coated by Brian at Gearhead Detailing recently, but this is the fifth car I’ve owned/arranged to have treated by Gearhead Detailing - all of those experiences have been uniformly excellent. What I would say separates Brian from other companies is the time that he takes to explain his assessment of your needs and what his services will include. The trust that his customer service level has created between us is something I’d gladly pay for versus getting a marginal detail from a cheaper detailing outfit. The quality of work stands up and lasts far longer than getting a “deal”. Pricing is competitive pricing well worth it considering the quality. I also really appreciate the “in process” communication Brian does during the detail, and earnest follow up he sends after the treatment to ensure I am happy with things. Highly recommended.

Excellent work! I went with a 1-step paint correction and Opticoat Pro one year protection on my 2017 Mustang GT. Brian was really helpful and detailed with the after care of his work and also offers great products at a reasonable price to maintain the gloss and protection he puts on your vehicle. I haven’t had an opportunity to use the Optimum No Rinse product yet, but he promises the gloss will enhance when I do. He was sure I’d be happy with the results from the detail he did and he was right, so I’m sure my first wash won’t disappoint either. My car was in and out in no time and the results speak for itself.

The guy said hed never seen a trade-in so clean. Top-to-Bottom it was immaculate, I almost didnt trade it in because it looked brand new. Brian runs a great shop and detail service! I dropped off my newly powder coated wheels to him to get a ceramic coating. The next day he contacted me and let me know there were some knicks/blemishes on the back leading edge of the barrel. Not even sure that he caused the issue, he insisted on comping and correcting the situation however I felt necessary, at no cost to me, including offering to have them re-powder coated. The ceramic coating came out great and the wheels clean with just a wipe of the finger. So easy! Thanks Brian!

Brian did a full multi-stage paint correction on my 2004 BMW 330i 2 years ago. Before Brian got the car, it had seen multiple automatic car washes and the paint was really rough - swirls and deep scratches everywhere.I could hardly believe my eyes when I got the car back - he was able to make it look almost brand new again. I have only hand-washed it since then, and it still looks brand new. I get compliments daily on how nice my car looks, and people are shocked when they learn how old the vehicle is. If you want nothing but the best protection for your car, you have to use Gear Head Detailing.

Came to get the crystal serum ultra package done. Ended up leaving with a 6 month seal and polish. The reason for this is because my paint is heavily scratched and will take much more work to get it all out. So brian and i talked and decided to go another route. Which Im super happy he did too. Theres lots of places who would have gone and done it without telling me they didnt think it would be worth it. Brian saved me a bunch of money and my car still looks fantastic. 15 out 10 would take all of my other cars there as well.

I asked Brian how to remove some paint pen or chalk on a new hood that I got from an auto body shop and he recommend rubbing alcohol. It took it off almost immediately as well as the rest of the paint that was swapped on my car from an accident. He saved me a lot of trouble!

Not only is the customer service off the charts good. But the quality of work is unreal. I had some body work done by a local body shop. But when I got it back it had real bad orange peel paint and swirl marks all over the panels they worked on. A few days with Gearhead detailing and my entire truck looks like a mirror again.

I never thought that a brand new vehicle could look any better when it came off the lot... wow, was I wrong!After taking a brand new Denali truck to Brian I was shocked to see the difference from how it came off the lot to when it pulled out of the shop. It started as a nice looking black truck, and the paint came out a lustrous and shiny jet black that really brought the character out of the paint.
