Not very clean. But the staff was nice and love the stand up beds.

It never seems crowded. Everything is clean. The staff is super friendly! The equipment is in good working order. It really feels like a no judgement zone. The climate inside is nice and cool.

Very clean gym, and plenty of machines so you dont have to wait for one. Very courteous staff

I workout often and Ive been to many different PF up and down the East Coast. This has to be one of the cleanest (if not the cleanest) location Ive visited. All the equipment works and the staff is friendly. The location is optimal. Just an overall good vibe here!

Walking into the location I was greeted by friendly faces and a nice plush facility with hardwood throughout and a fun layout. Each treadmill, elliptical and stair climber was outfitted with its own personal TV. I proceeded to find somewhere to fill up my water bottle to find that they did not have a bottle filling station but only water fountains that only allowed me to fill up half way. The facility are very clean. It would have gotten a higher rating but.....the treadmills.....they are soooo loud when you are on them. I normally go to the 501 location (in the old Gander MTN building) and the treadmills there are so quiet so I always compare to how those are. Most could simply just overlook this so dont let this scare you away. Its a great location and I would certainly recommend it to locals and tourist across the board.

Love this gym and the layout. While I like the other PF’s, this one has the closeness of the equipment I like.

I’m here on vacation from Northern New Jersey for the July 4th weekend. This spot is AWESOME! I’ll be back soon to get another workout in before I head back to NJ.

This is by far the best planet fitness location Ive been to yet. And Ive visited a bunch of their locations. Its clean, has a larger equipment selection, better floor plan/layout, and has the cleanest and largest locker room of the locations I have visited. I just wish it was in my home town😁.

PF was safe and clean even BEFORE Covid 19! Friendly staff. Great facility. The Hydro back massage is worth the price of membership alone! Highly recommend.

Great workout environment. There were a lot of people there when we went, but they have more than enough equipment to make sure that everyone can get in the workout they want without a wait.

This location makes workouts more rewarding.

FYI...I mostly use PF just to shower. This location is 24 hours and is in a central location to all shops/stores. The locker room area was clean and well kept. No shower gell, but the 2 shower heads were amazing.The showers have a dress area/ shower combined which is always good. 4 shower, 2 large dressing rooms, 4 sink, 4 toilet (1 handicap), and 2 hair dryer.There were not a lot of lockers for to size of the gym. The shower/toilet area was bigger than the locker area.4 stars because of the lay out of the bathroom ( sinks should always be adjacent to the toilets) and no shower gel.THERE IS NO OVERNIGHT PARKING.... YOU CAN GO TO JAIL. this is from 1st hand experience.

Its a great gym. Kept clean, friendly staff, many features. But the staff/management seem to lack consistency. I am in college, so Im only in Myrtle Beach for parts of the year, so I call to get my account frozen each semester so I wont have to pay until I get back home. The very first time I did this, it was recommended to me when an employee asked why I was cancelling my membership. The second time I tried to do this, an employee told me you can only freeze your account if you have a really good reason (Maybe something about military, I dont remember what his reasons were). The next time I tried to freeze my account I did it over the phone and the guy told me you have to come in and freeze your account in person. I called the store back the next day and spoke with someone else and they froze my account over the phone with no problem. The next issue I have is these god forsaken hours. I would like to know any plausible reasoning behind calling yourself a 24-hour gym. You need to print some new stickers for your doors that say 24/7 Gym 3 days a week!! And what difference does it make to close 10pm on weekends and close midnight monday nights. If you are lacking staff, promote the fact you have nighttime shifts available. Myrtle Beach has plenty of billboards to advertise this. If thats too expensive, google search ads for people in the area. You only pay how much you want to. If Im making it sound easier than it really is, hire a new marketing department. I have a degree in advertising. It really is that simple.I used to look at Planet Fitness as a really professional and Elite gym. But after all these inconsistencies I might be better off using the weights at a 24 hour Walmart.

Lots of equipment. Was worried when I saw how busy the parking lot was but once I got inside there was plenty of room. Used a bike and some free weights. Very clean and very friendly staff.

I love my workouts and all the equipment. Tanning beds massage chair and hydro beds. Locker rooms with showers and an amazing staff.

I cant lie, i only use this for tanning, but it is a great deal and the staff is always nice when Im there

Love this PF. Been going here for almost 3 years and enjoy it. Really didnt appreciate the newer older guy closing the building down 5 minutes till 10pm and kicking everyone out last night. Hoping that doesnt become a normal routine!

Best planet fitness location Ive been to over the last 3 years.

The facility is nice and there is a lot of equipment. They currently dont have a personal trainer atm so, that is a bummer. The staff are friendly though and seems like a good deal for your money.

My daughter and I were looking for a gym while we were on vacation. We were highly satisfied with the equipment and the professionalism by the staff.

Ive been coming here for years. Its always super clean and the staff is so friendly. Equipment is new and in great condition. Altogether love it.

Im visiting from Chicago and used my black membership. Absolutely loved the myrtle beach location. Very clean and front desk was friendly as well as helpful. Hope to go again soon!

Here on vacation and started the gym at he before coming here so I decided to continue coming even while Im on vacay. Glad I did. This PF is so clean and the cleaning stations are set up smartly.

Nice and friendly staff. Very clean bathrooms and equipment. If I had gone during the day it would be 5 stars easy. The parking lot is not lit well at night. It had maybe one light amd the rest was what was coming from interior lights shining through the windows.

Clean, safe, comfortable, but they make you buy goggles to use the tanning beds. Every other PF I go to offers goggles and a towel for free. Remember to bring your own...they have some quirky rules here that reduces the client experience.

Many machines near the smiths and cables were really close in proximity. When its busy ppl are crowded a little too close for my liking even though masks are now optional at this location in myrtle beach, sc.

I was a member before the pandemic and I cancelled in March and was never charged erroneously. I rejoined. Always the gym is spotlessly clean. Whenever I have been there the staff is courteous and helpful. Staff cleaning every day while I was there and lots of sanitizer and paper towels but also before pandemic. Everyone using the gym maintained distancing and mask wearing when changing locations. I have not had one problem and feel they are doing everything to make the gym clean and aafe.

Its big from the rest of the planet fitness locations Ive visited. But, I dont think the patrons inside read or watch the news. Six feet people! Theres a whole pandemic going on. Dont walk up to me without a mask on and try to start a conversation. Me and my girlfriend looked Bonnie and Clyde with our mask on. Other than that the place was alright. Could have used some touchless dispensers though.

During Covid I called and canceled my account Anthony told me I was canceled. 2 months later they charged my account. I called and talk to Kim the Mgr she said they froze my account. I told her I canceled it. She said I had to come in and sign the letter. Come to find out they canceled it by email i have a copy i never came in but she would rather have my $22. I said my plan was to join back after Covid. Kim said she will not give my $22 back i told her I would never step foot in any planet fitness ever again. Its not the $22 it the attitude she had and the lie that I had to come in when I did not. Good luck Kim you will go far with this company treating customers like this. I hope that $22 helps you move up in this company.

Staff is always friendly. Clean place. Open 24hrs is a nice convenience for night owls and those working odd shifts

Great place in Myrtle Beach SC to work out! Clean, nice and has more advanced croud it appears verses newbies to fitness but not lunks or weirdos ;-) but really overall a great experience and I will be back for sure! This one is actually closer to my beach condo on the water rather than Glen Forrest but GF is my home gym but had I known about this one first....oh well, eye candy not half bad thats for sure!

The mask are ridiculous just wipe down and spray down.I work nights so closing at 10 Friday thru Sunday doesnt work for me at all and I still pay the same priceThe bulbs in all the tanning beds need to be replacedSeveral months ago I had a perfect line where a build was missing and I didnt notice until I was climbing out of the bedWhere is all the back machinery? Where are are all the trainers?I never see anyone help clients guest or the seniors that need the rehab.I joined for the location and tanning and the lighting is perfect nice and dim. But the rest not a fsn

Visited this location with a free one-day trial. I was allowed into the gym after signing a wavier and thats it. I had to find my own way around, no discussion of memberships, etc. I subsequently joined, but doubt I remain beyond the summer. Very limited weights, staff rarely speaks to you unless you are entering and they arent busy; looks like it needs to be cleaned. Its OK for $10 per month, plus the $39 annual fee, but Ill be looking elswhere. No mask enforcement either.

This was one of the best planet Fitness gym I have been inn. I really like the way its set up. 👍🏿💪🏿💪🏿

Its always clean. The staff always greets me with a smile and are extremely friendly. Any equipment that is temporarily out of order is fixed in a timely manner. I love this location and have had a few of my visitors get their own memberships after going with me. Kudos! Keep up the great work!

When I checked into an elven oclock appointment for the massage chair, they decided to give me two tokens. They had two available chairs to use. So why give me tokens?

What a great facility love this plant fitness. Visited plant fitness from Michigan to Florida and by far this is the best one so far.

Great machines. Staff needs to clean more and enforce mask rule.

The gym is great.I love it.However,since they have reopened after covid I have witnessed people not wearing masks,removing signs from machines and using them while I was on the one beside it,amd not wipe down machines after using them.They need to be more strict.Maybe turn the machines off so the self untitled people of the world are forced to adhere by the social distancing rules.Have crew set up in each quadrant to make sure people are cleaning equipment instead of them all sitting up front at the booth,or taking a walk to the back.Or better yet,clean them every 20 minutes.I dont know,just spit balling here Its quite annoying when you try to follow the rules,and other people dont,and there isnt any repercussions for it,or a better system in place.

I came in to workout March 18. The patrons were all keeping physical distance because of the pandemic. One clueless worker began cleaning the elliptical next to mine which I found uncomfortable. As he worked he the back of his arm actuallytouched my hand. At that point I requested he practice social distancing. He said,Youve got to be kidding me! and left. Definitely not an understanding response. I was near the desk so I heard him on the phone asking what to do about me. After a few minutes he came back with black and yellow caution tape, and taped off the elliptical next to me. Thank you for the dose of humiliation with my workout, Planet Fitness.

This locations employees are horrible! Go to a different location. I had a membership with this location last year but had broken my leg and had to cancel. I called and asked how to cancel, they just told me to send a letter. Ok cool did that thought all was good. Fast forward to this week I signed back up on a Friday. The charge for the membership was ment to come out on the Monday. I had no charge and on Wednesday I called to check to see what was going on. I was advised my membership was cancelled and no charge will be made because I have a balance from my previous account. They kept charging me even though I cancelled. Today I found out that not only did they charge me for my membership but because I didnt budget for it they had over drawn my account. I went into the gym to explain what happened and they refused to refund the charge or do anything about it. They did wave their past balance but at this point the damage was done. I used to love this gym but now from this experience I will never step foot in any of them again.

LOOK HANDS DOWN THIS IS THE VERY BEST PLANET FITNESS CENTER. EVER thank you so much. My baby and I have been here several times over the years while visiting the beach and the entire gym with staff is awesome. This is the Mecca. MY lady also left a complete outfit in the locker room one day and the next day a friendly young staff lady put it in a safe place and we found it the next day. Love planet fitness until next year see you then enjoy

Terrible. I dont like being told to wear a mask after I am done working out leaving the building. Horrible customer service.
