I’m a local to the area, but have never experienced an adventure quite like the one I got with the jet ski tour! The guides are very knowledgeable and skilled to keep you safe while still having a blast. While racing through the trails try to keep your eyes open to see the amazing wildlife along the shore. I definitely felt like I went to the Amazon Rainforest for the morning. I highly recommend this place for the great staff, crazy adventure, and the amazing experience I received. 10/10 will do it again!

We had so much fun on our tour! Our guides were amazing and very kind. This place is worth every penny spent. I highly recommend coming here. We took the jet ski 2 hour tour and even my 5 year old loved it. We will be back!

Very fun experience, I loved seeing the waterways and it was nice to take a small break at the island and swim around in the water. They told us the jet skis were almost brand new and I can believe that, they ran smoothly and had no issues which Ive seen before with another company. The only issue I had during this day was that safety was not a concern to the instructors. The guy that was riding a jet ski in front of me was acting very erratically and turned his around and ran into my jet ski twice while going through the slow areas of the water. The lead instructor in front was not far away and stared at us as this guy hit my jet ski twice but did not say or do anything.

I have been living in Myrtle beach for 5 years and never took the chance to try jet skiing. Finally the opportunity arose and I cannot stress enough how much I’ve wasted the years before coming here. This was honestly the most fun I’ve had in YEARS! The staff were beyond helpful and were so good at instructing that when I was finally on the jet ski I felt like I had been doing it all my life. I had never been on a jet ski before today but I could not have felt safer, it was amazing. 5 Stars, 10/10, two thumbs way WAY up!

Best tour ever!These guys are very professional & stay with you during the whole trip.We had 10 people doing our tour, not everyone could keep up, so it wound up being 3 separate groups, fastest group, medium speed group & slowest group.(I was in the medium group)And with each group we had an instructor making sure we didnt get lost and stayed on path.. when one would fall behind, he would take off & get them & lead them back.This was literally the best time I had in Myrtle beach!I cant wait to do it again!

I Highly recommend island adventure water sports. While on vacation to myrtle beach this year we had so much fun on Monday that we had to do it again Friday. The owner is a super cool dude. For now on every vacation to myrtle beach will include a day or 2 of fun with island adventure water sports.

Four of us did the 2 hour jet ski tour. We had a great time, so much fun! Tour guides were awesome & knowledgeable. Liked the break half way through when the gave us a quick island tour & history of it. Highly recommend doing this activity when in Myrtle Beach!

We rented a pontoon for four hours and had a blast. Instructions on how to operate the boat were thorough and everything went super smoothly. Island Adventure also had better rental prices than other places I’d looked, which was the biggest reason we went with them. We weren’t disappointed and would totally rent again from this place!

My wife and I just had our best jet ski experience ever. Never thought it can be this fun in a canal! The staff members were super friendly and helpful. The jet skis were brand new and full of power. Two staff members escorted us to the riding area, stayed with us as life guards and then led us back in a thrilling ride.

We had a blast! The guides were awesome and professional. The skis were very well kept and easy to ride. The route we took down the river and ICW was very scenic and fun to navigate. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves powersports and being on the water. Its the best way to see the hidden areas of the coast. Great job IAW!!

THIS IS THE COMPANY TO USE! Our group of friends rented the pontoon boat for a full day. The process was seamless and our rental was handled over the phone. All of the employees were friendly and Danny was exceptional. He walked us through operation of the boat, gave us maps and even let us bring the boat back early when it rained. Genuine, great, personable and exceptional.

Second pontoon rental with these folks - just a great experience we did a 4 hour rental from 9:00am-1:00pm. Cruised down the waterway saw tons of wildlife - ospreys in there nests with babies, turtles, and even an alligator !!! Great boats very friendly and thorough - will rent from them again!!

This tour was a great end to our vacation week in SC! We actually came out on a Friday morning, but the weather wasnt so great so they took us out as far as we could and then turned us around because of the storm that was coming. They offered us prorated prices or a chance to reschedule another tour on another day. We rescheduled for Monday (the day we are driving back home) and everything went smoothly and just as planned. The tour itself was thrilling when you go fast and our guides Grant, Colton and Colton were very laid back and friendly. Overall had a really great time and would recommend anyone visiting to book the tour!!

I seriously cannot recommend them highly enough. My partner and I booked the 2 hour jet ski tour and were guided by Dave and Grant. They could not have been better guides. This was my first time on a jet ski and for the first 20 minutes was lagging far behind the group. Grant stayed with me and offered tips for accelerating and steering during a break that made my trip 10x more enjoyable. They were excellent. My partner and I will certainly book with them again next time were in Myrtle Beach.

We were given clear instructions on how to operate the boat. Our instructor was knowledgeable about the possible routes we could take and was patient with our questions. The boat was clean. Booked the 2 hour tour with Island Adventure Watersports. Dave, Colton and Grant were our guides. Super nice guys. They made sure every one in the group was attended to. We had an absolute blast. Very worth the cost, which was reasonable.

This was AWESOME fun!!! We took the Jet Ski Tour for 2 hours! We were 1st time in jet skis and the staff showed us everything and off we went! Was a great 2 hour ride through the back ways of the inter coastal waterways. Yank was our guide! If you never did this it’s a must!

We had a great time renting the Tiki pontoon boat for half a day (4 hours). We had 11 people (6 adults, 5 kids, and 2 dogs) and everything went great!

We did a 2-hour private boat rental for our family of four. It was not cheap, but we had an excellent time. The boys took many turns doing wakeboarding, waterskiing, and tubing on the inlet. The boat was very nice, and our guide was very professional and helpful. Highly recommend.

Took my husband here to ride jet skis for his birthday while visiting Myrtle Beach. The staff was really nice, the grounds were really clean. The only thing I did not like is they dont sanitize the life jackets after customers use them. I feel like they should take a bit more pride in protecting their customers form COVID. Other than that we had a blast and the tour guides were awesome as well. They were very clear on directions of what to do and what not to do. I will definitely be back but I will be sure to bring my own sanitizer.

I dont usually do reviews, but this venue deserves an awesome rating. Had a young family visit us in Myrtle Beach and decided to schedule the 2 hour guided jet ski tour. Wow, what a great time cruising the Intercoastal Waterway into the Waccamaw Preserve to get to Sandy Island. Full throttle at 50 mph, then weaving thru the turns of the waterways. Really enjoyed it. This place is phenomenal! The owner Danny and the instructor Dave was great! Jet skis are brand new 2020’s! FAST! They do about 55mph... and that’s fast on the water! Will defiantly be coming back to this location!

My family really enjoyed the jet skis! Lots of fun, and great equipment. Pricing was decent. Staff was friendly and professional One recommendation: there are tree branches barely protruding above the waterline on the edge of the channel. If you arent looking for these, you could have a very bad day.

My husband and I went on the 2 hour guided tour. Our guide Grant was fantastic. He knew the waterways thoroughly. He also gave us some history on the area. He was extremely nice and social. He took our pictures and sent it to us. We can’t wait to go back with our kids.

My boyfriend and I took the jet ski tour on a whim and we were highly satisfied. The process was easy and the instructors and guides were amazing ! We had Dave and Coulton who were awesome ! They took us to an island and knew the history of the island which was awesome but the best part was the hospitality . The advertisement said 2 hours but they didn’t rush us, they let us take in all the beauty . Then Dave was nice enough to take our picture by the jet ski. I am 100 percent satisfied and happy we did it . If I come back I will do it again!

I come to Myrtle Beach, just about every year. Ive been to Island Adventures every time I visited...everytime is an absolute great time. Crew is professional & courteous; even the dog is a welcoming sight. I refuse to use anyone else, while Im here.

Super fun! The staff is friendly and professional. The jet skis top at 50mph and we were able to go full speed for most of the tour! Go in the morning because without boat traffic the water is calm enough to go the fastest.

If you want a “Paul walker” type tour guide this is allll for you. The guy will leave you in the dust. 55-60mph is his normal speed. Not for first time riders. He’s nice. And the place is nice. Safety is not his priority though!

My 10 yo daughter and I went out for the 2 hour tubing/wake board excursion with Dan. The intercoastal waterway was beautiful. It felt like we were all alone for miles. Dan knows the water like his own home. He was great giving instructions and making us feel safe. We had a laugh-filled memorable time on the water. We look forward to returning for the jet ski tour.

We rented the boat for 4 hours it was late getting back from the previous party, not the companies fault. The boat didn’t have the front gate attached and had to be run at full speed for the front of the boat to not dip into the water. When slowing down only 3 people (we had 9 total) were in the front and the boat almost sank. When some experienced boaters came to help they claimed there was water in the pontoons. The boat was very unsafe.

Took our family here today we had an amazing time tubing and kyacking. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to go camping this fall .

Fiancé and I visited myrtle for the first time this October. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We did a one hour jet ski rental. We were taken out to a big open area where we rode for a while. After 20 minutes or so we got to ride trails all throughout the waterways following our experienced guide. Reasonably priced and a great overall experience. Will definitely be back next time we visit

We rented the Potoon Boat for half a day, Man, when I say it was worth every penny it was!!! It was so awesome, we found a nice Sandy Spot n anchored the boat. We took a swim n hung out in the shallow water, views were awesome n water felt so good!! My birthday spent in paradise!!! Thanks Island Watersports, we will see you soon!!!

My fiancé and I booked the 2 hour, guided backcountry jet ski and wow. SO worth it. We were the only people who had booked for that day, and so it ended up being a fun, private tour of the backcountry. Our guide Colton was fun and knowledgeable, and we pushed our limits a bit as first-timers, but it was so worth it. Highly highly recommend... everyone was so friendly, and the price was amazing for the experience.

Danny and Ryan did a great job getting us going with our pontoon rental. They had fantastic insider tips on great places to see natural flora/fauna. Love this spot for a relaxing day NOT in the chaos of Myrtle Beach!

My daughter booked the jet ski tour for 7 of us. Its not like I had expectations, I have never been on a jet ski. When we got there, we checked in with a very cheerful person who also answered every question we had so patiently and she obviously knew what she was doing.Then we got about 10 minutes or so of orientation about jet ski operations and hints, as well as some rules and safety tips.Then we were pushed from dock, started the skis, and began the tour. I am telling anyone reading my review. This was as thrilling as anything I have ever done and paid for. It is as exhilarating as riding my motorcycle, maybe even more so. The ride along the intercoastal waterways is actually pretty scenic and your vantage point is unbeatable.Grant and Colton (sp) treated us great. Great young men. They gave us a break on an island, explaining a little bit of history the island. They even took pictures if you wanted (we did) and transferred to your phone afterward.Man, I was kinda sad as I saw Colton pulling into the dock where we started. I had a blast, and although the tour was right around 2 hours, it really had went by quick.We all had a great time. I know I will do this again. Highly, highly recommended!!!P.S. Skis may be in my future...

I rented a Kayak today and had the best time. The staff are absolutely the best. Very, very helpful, pleasant and went out of their way to accommodate us. They are concerned about you having a safe and good time on your outing and most anxious to hear about your experience. I will definitely come here again. Did the 1 hour rental and thought “man that’s not cheap!” But... as a former watercraft owner it was an experience I’ve never had a living in the west, even on the beauty of Lake Powell! The glassy waters and forests of the inter-coastal waterway we’re mesmerizing including seeing an Osprey mama and her chicks in a nest! Dave what is a super cool guy, educated and laid back. They also replaced in entire fleet of waverunners every season so we were on brand new machines. Will be back to try the two hour tour!

My husband, Son, and I did the 1 hour jet ski rentals yesterday. We have rented from this group three times. We have always had an excellent experience. They are very knowledgeable and give you plenty of time to have some fun on the water! They now have a photographer that took some great shots of us while on the water. It was another awesome experience!

I know what your thinking $200?!?!?!, right? Well, Ill be the first to tell you. Itll be your lose! Me and my fiancee went on the 2 hour tour yesterday on day 6 outta 7 of our vacation and it was by far the BEST thing weve done on planet earth let lone a vacation. We got taken out by Danny (the owner) and he took us out to Sandy island which was very educational on its own and well worth the money. On the way it open throttle, full go through some turns and tight spaces. The you get out into open waters to where you can let it fly for what seems like miles. Why? Because it is miles! Were from Ohio and were so so glad we got to experience this with such a cool dood in Danny. And NO we dont know him or have any affiliations to this company. This is just 1 pure 150% feedback that you must not be a tight wad and do you and your loved ones a favor and GO. I PROMISE you, you wont be let down!! I rate this place a 20 outta 10!! It exceeded my expectations by that far Id go back again if I had the time!!

I have done a jet ski rental before but this was a very unique experience. I wanted to try the paddle boards too but was short on time and the staff let me give it a quick go at no charge! We rented a pontoon for the day, they were incredible!They walked us through the basics and safety and we got on our way to an incredible day on the water with some great memories!Next time we have to rent the jetskies

So we did the two hour guided jetski tour. This is NO JOKE. So much fun! Understand this...its all about the RIDING AND SPEED! You take one break during the ride and whew... you need it! Scenery is beautiful, just an awesome experience. Not recommended if youve never driven a jetski. Youll be left in the dust! Friendly guides and staff. Nope, not cheap, but shoot, if youre on vacation live a little!

Great tour. Made one stop as we navigating the intercoastal waterways and learned some history about the area. Saw lots of wildlife through the tour and a few boat wrecks. Unfortunately we did not get to see any gators but they are elusive in the summer months as they stay in water and submerge upon sight. (As we were told). Our guide was great and knowledgeable and paid attention to us making sure we were traveling at comfortable speeds. The jet skis were in great condition. Top out around 50mph so not too fast to make it uncomfortable. Definitely worth doing the 2 hour tour in my eyes rather then renting a jet ski for 2 hours.

We decided to take in some jet skiing while on vacation...and I cant recommend Island Adventure enough. The entire staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. While the staff was very safety oriented (which they should be) they were also accommodating and fun oriented. Make sure to ask for CJ Clay to be your captain...he was absolutely fantastic and was always working to make the trip as fun as it could be.For the past four years we have been doing summer beach vacations....after leaving this year we all agreed that Jet Skiing with Island Adventures on the Ocean was the absolute best. The equipment is in great working order, the inland water way was beautiful and time on the ocean was absolutely top notch. One last thing...be such to take the time to meet Reef their mascot.Thanks CJ and team....we had a wonderful time.

Great easy experience, took the 2 hour jet ski tour. The guides were top notch, Blaine was awesome! We went early in the morning and I highly recommend the earlier the better because the water way gets pretty choppy and more boats are out towards the end of the tour. If Im back in myrtle beach I will be back here!
