If I could give 10 stars I would! I got my Forgestar D5 bead lock wheels mounted at another shop in Charleston and they mounted my tire wrong and refused to fix it. Andy the store manager here at Black’s in Myrtle Beach was able to get my tires mounted correctly and was able to work me in the same day I called. Great service and great work. I am so thankful they were able to fix my tires and highly recommend going here for your automotive needs!

I came in to Blacks Tire Service today with a tire that had a leak. Within about 30 minutes, the technician came out and told me that the valve stem was leaking. During The visit, a gentleman named Billy who is a customer service representative made very nice conversation with me and kept me entertained. At the end of The Visit, I was delighted to find out that they charged me a very minimal fee.. I would highly recommended black tire service on 3rd Avenue South in Myrtle Beach.. Their customer service and and products are excellent.

Wow. This place was the best. My family was on vacation at Myrtle Beach and my car had bad tires and needed lined up so I found this place. It was easy to find and quick assistance when i arrived. As it turned out when my tires was being put on they noticed that they only had 3 of the 4 tires i needed so they gave me 4 better quality higher priced tires at no extra charge. I dont live here but if i did this would be my go to tire place.

Left my vehicle there all day, am talking from 630am til after 230pm to recheck an alignment that they had done a few months back and do a tire rotation that I paid for the day before and it wasnt even touched...WTH. The counter personal on a good note did their best to correct the issues and make it up to me...not their fault...

BTS came highly recommended by an Walmart employee I came across looking for a service shop. I drove over to BTS located off 17 in Murtle Beach, SC and spoke with Ms. Amelia and Mr. Mike who handle all my issues and assigned me to service tech. Mr. George who i must say did an amazing job with the repairs. Everyone must know, my experience at BTS was like no other. The staff was professional. they explain every detail of my repair to me. I recently purchased a 2005 Volvo XC-90. Called around to get prices on a tune up . Blacks quoted a price at least $100 cheaper than everyone else. They booked an appointment for me the next day. The car is running great.

My fiance and I travel for work and needed our tires on our 3500 dually rotated when we were in South Carolina in July. We figured since we were so far from home, we might as well get an oil change. They knew we were waiting on our vehicle, yet still took 4 hours to get our truck done. Yes, we made an appointment, we were not walk in customers. The lady at the counter was very confused when we first told her what services we needed and had the help of the gentleman working. When we rang out four hours later, she tried to charge us double what they quoted us for the mounting and balancing of the tires. I was very annoyed at how long we had to wait and the lack of knowledge from the counter lady, but working in the automotive industry my whole life, I understand getting backed up and sales women not being as knowledgeable as Id like, so i didnt leave a good or bad review at the time, just made a mental note not to return. Well we are home for a week and were due for our oil change and as we drained it we noticed the pan was way too full. After putting the used oil back in the jug, we realized that they put 2.5ish extra quarts of oil in our truck! We assumed we could at least count on the quality of the work, if not the timeliness or knowledge of staff. Do not recommend this shop.

Our family went to myrtle on vacation, we couldnt figure out what was causing the vehicle to shake so bad on the way there, after having all the tires balanced before our trip we thought it couldnt be a balance issue, so we went to blacks tire and the manager Andy took the time to figure this issue out, he road forced balanced all 4 tires and we had a bad tire, he replaced it and took care of the issue, big thanks to Andy and the front desk you guys are awesome.

Had an appointment to have my oil changed and do some inspection since I just bought the truck. 3 hours is a little bit long for an oil change. The greatest and friendliess people you have ever met. Came back the next day to replace a set of tires had a 1230 appointment and gave them a chance to redeem themselves but a little over 3 hours again. Why give me an appointment and I saw the truck sitting in the garage and nobody worked on it for a couple of hours. But once again great friendly staff. If they would have let me know that it was going to take that long I could have made plans to have someone pick me up but was never told it would be a long wait.

Danetta and the Blacks crew got me back on the road quickly. My spare was aired up and secured. I could not have asked for better service.

Not happy. My Daughter was on vacation and I dropped her car off to have the TPMS replaced on the tire. I marked the bad part with paint before I dropped the car off and when I picked the car up I noticed the part was not worked on.The paperwork had the correct part to be replaced but the mechanic said he never saw the paperwork and worked on the wrong tire. I was refunded my money and they gave me back the good part they took off the car. If I did not mark the part nobody would have told me of the mistake.

If you want your vehicle serviced or a new set of tires, then this place is Okay. If you need your vehicle diagnosed and a problem fixed, forget it. I took my vehicle here for years and then stopped about 5 years ago. They will diagnose it, put on some components, charge you, and send you on your way. Twenty miles later youre sitting on the side of the road broke down with the same problem. I gave them another try within the last two weeks and it happened again. At least their pattern is the same. My family says, Why do you keep going there? I dont have a good answer. Dont waste your time or money at Blacks Tire on 3rd Ave. South in Myrtle Beach.

They are always so helpful and polite here. Have never had anything less than amazing customer service. Definitely come here for all your automotive service needs. And even if they are busy they are good with working you into the schedule as long as your patient with them.

Good place. Just bought a couple of used tires from there. Fair price, but the real notable thing about this place is how quickly they got everything done. In and out. Definitely recommend.

The dreaded light went on in my car to show a tire issues. I have had too many flats over the past several years so I purchased Goodyear insurance after the last buy (and before moving to Myrtle Beach) which covered all my tires. Blacks Tire honored it, fixed the tire in a timely professional manner and didnt charge me the $23.00 deductible. Said they wanted me to come back. I will! Along with that, I asked them to check my car battery, as I was receiving a low battery message when my radio ran after turning off the ignition. My car is about 5 years old so I thought I might need a new battery. I was told it was fine and all was working as it should. Actually, I was expecting to replace the battery, so that was good news. I told them I would use Blacks for my next auto servicing, as they earned my trust.

Fast service and the waiting area is very clean! I had a flat tire and fortunately they had availability to fix the tire at an affordable price! Waited about 2 hours but considering it was busy, it was an appropriate wait time! Thanks again!

We went on vacation at Myrtle Beach and was having issues with my car. Found this place had great reviews and wasnt too far from our hotel. From the start the staff was curtious and really listened to our problem description. After diagnosing the problem, they looked around and found the best pricing for parts and the fix would be $200 but considering the vehicle was still safe to drive and the issue was minor, caused by my mechanic at home they recommended I take it back to him if I felt safe doing so. After they spent an hour finding the cause of my concern; I went to pay and they told me there was no charge. The people here are great, generous, and honest. 3 women coming in with obvious ignorance to what was going on they could have taken advantage of us, but they didnt. The only way to repay these guys is hoping my review sends some business their way. Im so truly grateful. So if youre vacationing or live near these guys its definitely the place to go.

I was recommended to Blacks by a coworker due to their good prices and excellent customer service. I have to say that I am extremely pleased by the results of taking that advice. My car wouldnt start the other day and left me stranded. I had to use a family members AAAs membership to tow my car to their shop. I called to let them know I would be coming and briefly described my situation and Paige was really kind and understanding on the phone and told me on the phone that they would be waiting for me. When I got there, I didnt have enough on my card to pay the tail end of the tow bill, so Ken offered to pay it and just add it to my bill once they figured out what was wrong with my car. I needed help to pay for my bill from my mom who lives in Pennsylvania. They gladly accepted her credit card by phone after getting my car looked at right away so I can make it to work tomorrow. I recommend this shop for all of your repair and maintenance needs! 5 stars gladly!!!! Thank you so much for getting this single woman up and running again with reasonable prices and unmatchable customer service! I will definitely be back!!💚

Great group of folks I would recommend them to everyone for quality service work.

I took in 2 sets of atv wheels and tires to have mounted. Not only did they break one of the center caps, but they glued it to the wheel and tried hiding it from me. They had no intentions of telling me what had happened. Which means in the future when the wheels needed to be worked on again the cap wouldnt come off. Luckily I inspected all the wheels and noticed it. I spoke to the owner about what happened and he insured me they would take care of this and replace it. It has been 5 weeks now and still no new center cap. I have called several times to find out 3 weeks ago they did receive the wrong cap. Since then I havent heard from anyone. I was able to purchase my own cap and have it in 5 days. I would stay away from this place. They dont respect or care about their customers.

I would like to say the service was quick and sufficient, but the manager cheated me out of my money. The price to put on brakes and rotors started at $75 because I bought them myself only had to pay for the labor. After finding out that I needed brake calibers as well. I told them that I would go buy them and pick them up because I get military discount. They agreed with me. After returning to the shop with the calibers I found out that they had already put the new calibers on my car. I paid $85 with a up charge on them for $35 and I get the $35 back if I bring the old ones back. When it came time to pay for the job. They charged me $387.64. Charges consist of $125.99 twice for both caliber. $145.80 for labor, and $19.89 for shop supplies. I didn’t have a problem with paying the price. I only wanted the old calibers to get take back. They told me because they paid for it then they had to talk it back. If everyone look at the price please tell me who is paying. They also put a $50 discount on it, but I was looking at the screen when he was outing the price in. He actually put the $50 on the labor price after he applied the discount price. This store will cheat you be careful.

My wife took her car in for service this past Friday. $65.00 for an oil change that included tire rotation, wiper blades, and topping off the fluids. When she went to pick it up she asked about the tire rotation. She was told that they forgot, she could either wait or bring it back. She had to return to work, so we would have to bring it back. Saturday morning I brought the car back. Not only had they failed to rotate the tires, they had not topped off the fluids or replaced the wiper blades. I went to pick it up about an hour later. I got less than a mile down the road and the low tire pressure light came on. I brought the car back for a third time. The driver side rear tire was low after they adjusted the pressure. This was our first and last trip to Blacks! IF you choose to allow them to work on your car, you better double check to make sure that the work was actually done! I also attempted to post this review on their website. It has been several days and it hasnt showed up, only 5 Star Ratings....

Went in for a slow leak in my tire, they resealed it & rotated my tires to put the better tire on the front. My 3 year old son & I were treated like family. We were offered pastries, bacon & coffee & they also gave my son crayons & a coloring book to help pass the time. They provided us with quick efficient service. Great, knowledgeable staff. This is our tire go-to experts!! Keep up the good work guys!!!

Never allow any disgruntled employees to run your front desk. It starts at the door, the entrance and this is a great service center; however, they need to reconsider whom they allow to say hello to customers and greet them upon entering. (Cough, Cough) angry man at the desk. OAN: behind the scenes, everyone was helpful, warm and welcoming and treated customers with the utmost respect. They really value and consider their customers as family in terms of pricing and prompt response with caring for vehicles.

We had picked up a piece of razor blade in our tire last night and I took it here to have it checked. No problems, no leaks, and they didnt charge me so this is the place to go. Good honest folks!

We were visiting Myrtle Beach from out of town and getting ready to head back home, when we realized a nail was stuck in our tire :( My dad told us to go to Black’s Tires because they are very good in Fayetteville, NC. Everytime I come here they want me to get something done to the car that I do not ask for. I dont know if its because Im a woman or cause Im black but I will never go back here or suggest someone else to go here. I should be able to get what I ask for if Im the paying customer. They only need to put their shops where you have to have inspection cause they act like Sc has them and they DONT!!! I wish I could put ZERO STARS.

Wow, just wow. After sitting there for over 2 hours. The mechanic drove my car twice aggressively after I told them I have an axel leaking trans fluid. His manager was so rude and said take it to the dealer. Incompetence at its highest level. Do not take your car there for ANY mechanical issues. This place is a tire shop and that is all they can do. I went to next door after 5 minutes the guy diagnosed the issue and fixed my car next day since it was around 4:30 PM and they close at 5.This my first time ever writing a review but I felt I had to share my experience with you all. Bottom line, Blacks tire is not your repair shop if you have any mechanical problems.

We are traveling and had an issue with a new tire, we came over in Monday they were very busy asked if we could come back the next day, we did and was ready at our appointment time. I took a test drive with Rodney, we talked about it and I said I thought we had a tire out of round. We went back and he was going to check it. Minutes later the service manager came out and said hey you got to see this and sure enough it was a bad tire with in about 1500 miles. We checked it in the spin balancer to check the wheel and it was good. They sold us a tire and was back on the road. The bill including the tire was like $145. They could have charged us a fortune and what could we have done?? Thank you for your honesty and good business practices. I highly recommend!!

Here having all 4 tires replaced. Bts seems to be one of the last honest, reasonable places to buy tires at the beach. Gary was an absolute pleasure when I called for a quote. He took the time to explain my options. Now that Im here waiting I feel like Im with family. Couldnt be happier.

Great service in a emergency, very friendly and fair price

I have been going to Blacks Tire for over 15 years. With Blacks Tire I have always saved money and I know they aren’t just trying to sell me something. Just yesterday I went to Meineke for a tire patch because it was closer to where I got the flat, and I was informed that I needed 2 new tires for $400 because the tire was damaged. I put on my spare and drove to Blacks Tire and they said the tire was in very good shape. They fixed the tire and it cost me $25 total.

Told me they would get me in quick,needed 1 tire, 5HOURS LATER......

Be aware fro this shop, they charge me 100$ for change misfare, was not the good one then they said you have to pay extra 68$ for diagnostic to make sure weach misfare should change,, they dont care about you
