Total nightmare. Who are these positive reviews for? Not this business. No way. Verbally quoted me about $35 to do a couple of buttons and shorten 1 pair of drapes. After about 6 weeks of no contact, I left a message and waited a few days. No response. Went in and she said I told you this is my busy season so it would take a while. July and August is your busy season, lol? But why cant you return calls to customers wanting an update? I just dont have time, she says, lol. After another month, she sends me a text... $70 cash, check, or venmo. Since I never got a quote or a claim check in writing, I paid it, in cash with no receipt btw IRS. As I walked out, totally irritated, she said, if we accepted credit cards and gave quotes in writing, we would have to charge a lot more. We just keep it real simple and honest. Maam, this was not simple or honest. Salt in the wound, lol.

I went in with a last minute alteration for a wedding. She worked me in and did a wonderful job at a reasonable price

Came in today and brought a pair of Jeans to be repaired. She was able to repair them on the spot and they look terrific. Also forgot my checkbook and she did it without charge. I will pay her in the future.

A week before my wedding, Kathy saved my wedding dress after a different seamstress had ruined it! Her prices are also extremely fair. I will always return here for any alterations I may need!

Very unhappy with my experience. Had my suit tailored and I wasnt quite happy with it. The seamstress just told me that it was how the suit was cut and that the wrinkles I was seeing across the shoulder would come out when it was pressed. She said it looked good even though I was not happy with it. I got the impression that she just didnt want to do the work to fix it. Took it elsewhere and was very pleased.

I recently got my wedding dress altered by Kathy. Pricing was very fair and she did a great job, and the dress was ready on time. The only reason I give 4 stars is that she does not take appointments (she will take them for a specific day, but not a time..it is first come first serve). Now this worked out okay for me, but for those with a very busy schedule this could get frustrating. Also know she does not take cards. Just something to note. I would definitely go back in the future if needed on other clothes.
