Fantastic tube amp repair shop! The owner Raul really knows his s&@! The guy is an analog guru (he knows solid state too). He quickly diagnosed and repaired a pesky problem I was having with my Hot Rod Deluxe, and for a very fair price! He took a ton of interest in making sure the repair was done right to the point of offering me a 90 day warranty and calling me the next day to make sure I was satisfied...A++ service. I could not recommend Raul and Aztec Electronics enough.

Very quick to help, a little blunt maybe, but Raul is definitely an expert in his craft. Very reasonable pricing and quick service, even if he shoos you out the door. Definitely recommend.

I managed Warranty Service for 42yrs at TEAC, Kenwood Electronics, Sherwood, and Pioneer Electronics.Raul is the most accurate and quick troubleshooting /electronics repair technician. His analytical skills are second to none of the consumer electronics industry technicians. His repairs were best analyzed and quickest of the technicians. He dealt with difficult customers with care and professionalism. He is honest, sincere, and caring. Raul was a major contributor to my 10 yr success at Kenwood. We helped Kenwood get published as the top company providing the best warranty and overall consumer service. Years ago he fixed my speaker. It took him two tries (I brought it home after the first try), but at least the 2nd time he figured out where the short was he didnt figure out the 1st time, and fixed it without charging anything extra. It was inconvenient, but I was still grateful, and the cost was VERY reasonable.About 2-3 weeks ago I brought him a multi-disc CD player that was skipping and was having a lot of trouble loading discs. When you call him at first, this is what to expect - he asks when you need it fixed by, and hell try and get you to bring it in a few days from now since hes swamped. Both times I asked why cant I just bring it in today, even if you cant fix it right away, and he said ok.He didnt give me an estimate of how much time my CD player would take, so after 4-5 days I called him for an update and he said he had a different phone name and # on the invoice attached to my unit, so couldnt reach me. He still hadnt fixed it regardless, so I pushed a couple more times, and he finally said it was fixed after a few more days. I went in and was going to pick it up, but he wanted me to hear it working first, so I went in the back and... it still didnt work - it was better, but still having some of the same loading issues. He said hed try again as it was working fine earlier and would have it ready the next day.I called literally 3 more times, each spaced out by a couple of days. On the 2nd time when he said yet again some variation of I havent been able to get into it again yet, Ill do it tomorrow, I pointed out it was the 2nd time hed said that, and he said itd be ready the next day. Three more days passed with no phone call from him (if he even had my phone # anymore), and I called him today. Like every other time, it took him a while to figure out who I was and what piece of equipment I was talking about, and seemed genuinely surprised to hear form me, even though hed told me multiple times itd be ready the next day. He said, I still havent gotten into it again yet, Ill do it tomorrow. I said, No, no, no, no, no, this is literally the 3rd time youve told me that. All I wanted was for him to make it a priority and tell me hed do it right away after putting me off so many times as it was a hassle to get to his out of the way shop with my busy life, but instead he said angrily, Just come get it, Im going to lunch, Ill be back at 1. And then he hung up. He was mad at ME, like it was my fault he told me over and over and over hed fix it and kept breaking his word, as if I was the evil person for wanting him to fix my broken electronics when he fixes broken electronics. Its not my fault his first attempt didnt go as well as hed hoped. Wow! I was pretty shocked.Honestly, I dont care tremendously about fantastic customer service. If I get a product I want, or someone does me a service and I dont fall in love with the person, or their communication skills arent stellar, Im ok with it. Im much more concerned with the end result, but still. In fairness, he didnt charge me anything, but its still broken.Expect things not to go smoothly, and make sure you test your device at his shop before bringing it home to avoid multiple trips. Most people in other reviews have had positive experiences, so take this for what its worth. I wont ever be going back personally, even though I might have to travel to find someone else who does what he does. I considered not leaving this review at all, as I hate saying anything negative about someone, but people should be forewarned.

Raul is fantastic, he knows his stuff and works hard to back up his words. He may be hard to reach, but once you get ahold of him, itis well worth it if one of your vintage pricseless posessions gives up it ghost.
