We have a gas fireplace and it hadnt worked for a little over a year. We would turn on the switch and the flames would turn on for a few seconds and then they would go off. Advanced Chimney did a very thorough inspection, including cleaning everything as well. Plus he gave us very detailed information about what was done, both verbally and with a report sent to our emails. Our fireplace was working again after this inspection. This was a couple weeks ago. Today I smelled gas near the fireplace and thought maybe there was a gas leak. He came out again very quickly today and did another very thorough inspection with another very detailed report, both verbally and sent to our emails. There was nothing found to be wrong and the gas smell is gone so it must have just been an odd thing. He is very professional and courteous and clean. Very thankful for the great service by Advanced Chimney!

This company is hands down the BEST! Eric came to our home to look at our gas fireplace that hasn’t been working for over a year! Ran a full diagnostic and even showed us how to/where to buy a new part to install to save us some cash from him coming out again. What a guy! His wife is also super sweet and full of information over the phone when scheduling. Highly highly recommend.

Excellent customer service, from the get-go! Shelby was up-front when I called to make an appointment, explaining they were booked for about 3-4 weeks. Eric and Steve were running a few minutes late, but I received a call from Shelby in advance of the appointment time. Both guys were friendly, professional and very experienced. In addition to cleaning the stove/flue, they use a camera to inspect the pipe all the way to the chimney cap, looking for any installation errors or signs of aging. I would definitely recommend Advanced Chimney Cleaning!

This review is a copy of the review I posted to Yelp! I wanted to make sure that this review is posted on Google as well, that is just how great Eric and Shelby are! That Yelp review is below.What a phenomenal job that Eric and Shelby did! I promise I am not being hyperbolic when I say that they are truly lifesavers!!! Shelby was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough in setting our appointment and explaining the process. She was incredibly helpful and easy to work with, and made sure that the lines of communication were always open. I cannot begin to tell you how warm and friendly she was! In addition to her help, Eric was just as helpful and knowledgeable during the actual inspection. Again, they were lifesavers! During the inspection Eric found that there was a significant gas leak with our fireplace that was due to the builder barely finger tightening the fuel line leading to the ignition. Between this and an improperly sealed fireplace that was prone to having strong gusts of wind blowing the flame, it was a combination that could have led to tragedy. With how often we use our fireplace, this was very worrying to find out. We have had issues prior to the inspection getting a whiff of gas here and there and not knowing where it was from, to find out it was due to this, and that it was as simple as the builder not tightening the connection at all was incredibly aggravating. We were not even aware of just how bad things were without Eric fully explaining the issue and himself saying how angry he was that someone would do this in new construction. Overall we would totally recommend Eric and Shelby to anyone who has either a gas or wood burning fireplace. They are beyond thorough, helpful, friendly, and most importantly they actually care about their customers wellbeing! That is a rare quality today. 5 stars isnt enough!

We had Eric out to clean and inspect our chimney and he did a great job. He went over everything and showed us how to use it and gave great recommendations. Shelby was very nice on the phone and explained everything so we would know what to expect. We have never had this done before, so that was really helpful. We would definitely recommend them and will have them out again when the time comes.

Let me start off by saying how great it is to have someone that is reliable and profressional. Eric had me scheduled and sent me 2 reminders days before my appointment. Eric arrived on time and wore shoe protectors, as soon as he entered my house. Eric spent 2 hours inspecting and cleaning my fireplace. It is just like brand new and I bought a gas log set from Eric as well. We have used the fireplace every night since the cleaning and plan on using the fireplace, more and more :).Dont waste your time calling any other chimney cleaner. I was really excited to have this company come out, as it had been recommended by someone in my community. I called and scheduled an appointment in Mid December (well before christmas), and the first appt they had available wasJan. 29th. Well here we are, and no one called, so at 9 15 I called them and left a voicemail asking if I was still on the schedule. Someone called me back about 10 minutes later. I was informed there was someone that called, but my voice-mail was full, and someone sent a text as well. I took her word for it, and allowed the receptionist to set me up for Sunday because the tech doesnt work in the rain. Understandable, but I shouldnt be the one doing the reaching out. Upon hanging up with the receptionist, I investigated what I had been told, hoping others werent having the same problem trying to get in touch with me.My voice-mail only had 3 voice-mails, and none were from this company, my inbox was nowhere near full. I checked my text messages and had no messages from the number listed for the company, or the line she called me back from when she returned my message. I was really disappointed to find out I had been lied to about the correspondence. I know this job is going to be over $2,000, so I just dont feel comfortable working with a company that would fabricate a story over something so simple as forgetting to call. I wasnt upset until I went back in my history to find out that everything I was told was false, so I canceled my appointment. Hoping to find a mom and pop company that needs the business! Ugh. What a morning!

I am absolutely devastated! Eric came out today to do a simple dryer vent cleaning, the end result is so much damage to my entire vent that I need a contractor to come rip my wall out to replace it, my dryer will not even dry clothes now! He shredded the vent hood as well. I took a photo two days ago of our horse next to our house, how fortunate the hood is in the photo and seen in excellent condition of course. Eric is taking no responsibility at all, unbelievable!!! The worst part about all of this is how badly and easily Eric lied and denied to hide what he did, hes so dishonest Im beside myself. Ive never in my life experienced something or someone like this. Take note we used this company last year everything was fine. Make me an example! If youve used them before and everything was fine that guarantees nothing because look at what Im in for now!!! Any reply from him is going to be a lie, he knows damn well what he did. Where are his work and business ethics!

Had them out for an inspection and sweep and they found some very scary problems. Eric let us know what our options were and we went with having a new fireplace installed. We could not be happier with the outcome and cant wait until it gets cold enough to actually use it!

After my neighbors house had a chimney fire I decided to call Advanced Chimney for an inspection and a cleaning. We had been in the house for 5 years and never thought to do it. Eric showed up on time and was very professional. He thoroughly cleaned and inspected my chimney giving it a clean bill of health just in time for the colder months.
